Argument of the little things
Jayr felt a bit nervous to a degree but was also entitled to a bit of pride, she was above all else not ashamed of her body, she was just never the one to flaunt it so much. This was her recent coming of age deal, ever since coming to California she recognized the way kids dressed, not to mention the steep degree change inclining rather than declining. This was of course not Chicago anymore.
"Uhm, you look pretty. Yeah."
Jayr would give him a long stare her lips pursing slightly thoughtful trying to read his expression and failing to catch onto his awestruck appearance, but she was playful enough not to let that harm her. Stepping up across the fray in her large heels it was no problem in the slightest to get up in his face. Her hands would press up against his chest before shoving him back softly and pressing him back a few inches with a playful shove.
"Shut up."
She'd smile, wink and then stick her tongue out once again slipping in behind the curtain quietly peeling away clothes again and replacing them with another attire. This was generally the part where the boy asked the questions. Otherwise this would be a one sided game of tag.

And she stared at him after his somewhat short compliment. Well, Cain really did not know what to say. She really looked gorgeous, but Cain was never one to use those kind of words upon instinct. Hell, he was still feeling pretty awkward then. To her stare, Cain could only raise both hands, as if questioning her reaction, his eye brows raised over an awkward grin, unsure of what to say or do next. As she walked up to him, Cain leaned back, though made no move further than that as she would suddenly place her hands on his chest, pushing him back. Of course, Cain would succumb to the force, the Junior taking a few steps back to prevent himself from falling onto his bottom.
"Shut up." "Haha, what? What did I do?"
Cain chuckled in reply, lowering his hands as he took a few steps back forward as she slipped back into the changing room, forcing Cain to allow himself once more to find a different source of entertainment. He would glance around once more, looking up at the ceiling, the floor, the mirror, the clothes and finally, the curtain of the changing room... Well, that could work, he guessed. Taking a few steps closer to the changing room, but turning around so that his back faced its direction, he would cross his arms, boredom taking over as he actually tiptoed, looking at the ground.
"So, uhm, how as #774 been treating you?"
He inquired, trying his best to at least strike a proper conversation here. The silence between them was a lot more awkward than a simple conversation, so Cain wanted to do away with it. Though, at that moment, he could not really think of anything else to ask.

The trudge of time
"Haha, what? What did I do?"
Of course Jayr wouldn't reply to him, having slipped herself back within the curtains of the changing rooms she snickered quietly to herself pulling out another gaudy outfit she'd flash quickly before the mirror and sizing it up herself. Flaunting her cheeks back and forth to angle the directions that made her rosy cheeks stand out more against the red she'd decide if it was worth the bother of even trying on. But then she'd conclude it was cute enough to at the very least give a try.
"So, uhm, how as #774 been treating you?"
She'd smile silently thinking it an odd time to break out the small talk all things considered but then again she'd never really given him the time to catch up with her until this point where the pair were nearly standing still at this point and time.
"Uhm, I suppose fine, still can't get over the fact that the staff here just lets everyone get away with beating each other."
Jayr's reply back with a simple sigh as the clothes came on, snugly at that slipping past the bottom of the of ruffled dress feeling the amount of space she could spread her legs was severely decreased unless she wanted to break the fragile thing. all in all though she looked very astute and lady like, she'd signify as much giving herself the once over quickly before regretting not taking a second over and repeat before pulling free the curtain and performing a little runway walk. Her hair would come back with a fling over her shoulder giving it that much more...whats the word. Oomph!
"Though I can't really decide on whats the lesser of two evils, to follow this course or enact change. And who would take such a risk if they knew so many were after than power to decide?" She'd sigh again speaking cryptically enough hoping that he'd not allude that she was the Captain.

"Uhm, I suppose fine, still can't get over the fact that the staff here just lets everyone get away with beating each other."
"Yeah, well, that's America for you."
Cain replied with a soft chuckle, short and brief, his statement both being a joke and his own opinion. There was no point in making this a serious conversation now. All he wanted to do was hang around and have fun. That was, after all, the point of going out with her in the first place, right? To have fun? At least, that was what she considered this to be.
And then, she left the changing room, Cain turning his head by the neck to look at her. As soon as his gaze landed upon her figure, his eyes would widen, that blush from earlier coming back to his face once more. She was simply so elegant and beautiful in that dress. And the cut of the dress could not go any lower. It was almost revealing the whole of her breasts. She described her looks to be more 'oomph'-y. Well, Cain thought it was more of a boombangboomshakalaka than just an oomph.
"Though I can't really decide on whats the lesser of two evils, to follow this course or enact change. And who would take such a risk if they knew so many were after than power to decide?"
Well, it took a while for the question to register to Cain, for his attention was still focused on her attire. The ruffles were a cute addition too. Right, a few more moments now. Ooh, that smile was adorable. Almost there. The brushed back hai- Wait, what did she just ask? A sense of deja vu came over Cain, the question sounding quite familiar indeed. It was a question... That he had asked himself before. When he was School Captain. He furrowed his eyebrows, looking up at her.
Nah, that couldn't be. Last he heard, Kevala was Captain. He tilted his head, his right hand raising slightly as he pointed towards her.
"Wait... Don't tell me you took Kevala's title from her?"

Spilling the Beans
"Wait... Don't tell me you took Kevala's title from her?"
Jayr would stare back innocently with a little devious smile as her knees would buckle together and hands would rest at the top waving slightly from side to side in a manner of saying yes without actually saying so. Though to say 'take' was a bit of a harsh word. She was given the title but somewhere in Jayr's mind the trigger to correct him didn't necessarily check on.
"Ummm Mayyybe." That same sinister smile enacted as she still flitted.
With a short prance she'd lunge forward past Cain like a ballerina sort and snatch up a pair of matching red heels liking the way they cliqued with one another and smiling just enough to deter the subject all the while assuming he'd be inclined to ask another question, suggest a next route, or even potentially initiate a fight. Though she'd not expect too much of the later, while Cain did present himself very competitive she didn't assume he was overly aggressive or violent.
"So Red or Pink?" She'd say as her hand darted off to grab some overly gaudy sunglasses that were unsuitable for the entire attire to say the least rather a staging point for another row of questions.

Yeah, she did.
Wow.
Cain would take a step back a bit as he placed his weight on one leg, his right hand coming upon his chin. This girl had beaten Kevala for the title? For some reason, Cain found that hard to believe, as he raised his eyes, looking over her once more. She may have that killer looks, but she did not the fighter's aura. True, she could be ruthless if she wanted to. The events earlier that day proved that. However, it could not have been enough to beat the girl that had almost pushed Cain over the edge.
"Ummm Mayyybe."
And with that, she would prance past him, his impression of her completely changing. There was definitely a lot more to her than Cain had thought. She had just gotten a lot more interesting. In her hand, then, would be a pair of red heels that seemed to match the dress. A lady in red. A scary sign, indeed. And with that in mind, his answer to her next question would be pretty obvious.
"Pink."
Cain chuckled, before putting his right hand down, still registering into his mind that the girl in front of him was the current Student Captain. Cain scratched the back of his head then, as he took a few steps towards her, looking at the sunglasses, before having second thoughts. Actually, she looked better without it.
"... So, what are you going to do with the title?"
It was a simple question, really, but a very influential and significant one.

Crimson Thoughts
"Pink."
Jayr would giggle slightly as she'd retract the hands taking with them each set of heels in her grip before setting aside the red shaded ones. With a mindful nod she'd size up the pink ones judging that they were pretty cute but definitely didn't match the red dress.
A soft chuckle from behind her as she bounced away back to the rack of clothes grabbing a pink dress and scurrying back into the changing rooms without a second thought. She didn't figure him for the type of guy that'd take advantage of her. At least not one who'd consider letting her change innumerable amount of times to get a peepers gaze.
"... So, what are you going to do with the title?"
Struggling inside with the frilly edges Jayr would grunt softly before fixing the dress perfectly into place the audible clack being heard from the heels hitting the floor as she reemerged once more.
"Well something different I suppose."
She'd chirp in with a pleasant voice, her hands laced behind her back tenderly swaying from side to side as she played the role of innocent and charming seductress.
"A title is just a name and a set of powers, but the title itself means nothing unless there is a basis to that power. I hope to earn this, and by doing so giving the power back into the hands of the students themselves."
Naive, perhaps but with an iron hand in control of the students there could be no such thing as freedom. Freedom of choice or action, it'd all be staged as a never ending battle. Though in this world there was always change.

And another dress would be put into play, it seemed, as she pulled it out from the rack. Cain could not help but shake his head, knowing that she was really playing her cards well, sneaking her way into his liking. However, it was then that he realised that the pile of clothes that she was taking was piling up, his eyes widening. Was he really going to pay for all of those? As she reentered the dressing room, Cain would turn away, not wanting to be seen by the other patrons of the shop as a peeping top. Still, it worried him... Three dresses? That's gonna cost quite a bit.
The sounds of minor struggle reached his ears, and soon, the clacking of heels against the floor as the curtain swung open, revealing her in her new pink dress, as Cain turned around, once more caught in awe. She was really looking hot there, definitely. Cain's attention had been caught, that was for sure.
"Well something different I suppose."
Cain's eyes would snap back from her body to her own eyes, his eyebrows raised in curiousity. Something different? How so? Cain had led with an iron fist with powerful pillars that had no problem in solving any quarrels and disputes between students. Kevala had taken a more democratic approach, establishing instead an understanding between herself and majority of the student body.
"A title is just a name and a set of powers, but the title itself means nothing unless there is a basis to that power. I hope to earn this, and by doing so giving the power back into the hands of the students themselves."
Democracy, huh? Cain raised his right hand to his chin once more.
"... But in order to do that, you're going to need influence over the student body. And considering it is #774, talking won't be enough to do that. You'll need a bit of muscle too. And you know that in the school's population, considering its nature, there would always be a group of students who will strongly go against you."
And on a lighter note, his right hand would leave his chin, as he pointed at the pile of dresses in the changing room.
"By the way, you're not going to buy all of that, are you?"

Its more than just that
"... But in order to do that, you're going to need influence over the student body. And considering it is #774, talking won't be enough to do that. You'll need a bit of muscle too. And you know that in the school's population, considering its nature, there would always be a group of students who will strongly go against you."
Jayr would cock her head to the side in something of a glance that would suggest that he was belittling her frame of thought. Jayr always thought big, and this was just among another set of big ideals she was bringing to the table.
"Well of course, but I think you're underrating my abilities, I mean until just now you didn't know who the Student Captain was, isn't that itself a sign of con-"
"By the way, you're not going to buy all of that, are you?"
Jayr would find herself cut off, the question itself catching her off guard and distracted as she eyed up the clothes. A wry smile crossing her face, no she didn't want them because secretly she had them already at home a bit of the shopping but was just in her even if that meant just trying things on for size. But she didn't have to tell him that.
"Nope, I think I'll let you off easy with just Ice Cream." A small wink as she patted the hems of her dress which was more skirt-ish with the fact that it was so low.
The steady clack of heels as Jayr went back to the changing room taking but a few seconds to change out and return back with her normal clothes on, the dress worn over her arm as she settled it aside and perked up a wide grin.
"Keeping control is less about force than you can imagine, and not necessarily the use of words. You'll see." A wink as she marched her way out slowly expecting him to follow or walk as equals, whichever he chose really. That was the nature of things, people didn't become slaves they chose that route themselves through inaction.

"Nope, I think I'll let you off easy with just Ice Cream."
Ah, well, that was good to hear. Cain could only smile, relaxing himself as he let his arms drop back to his side. He was already somewhat struggling to make ends meet, with the occurrence of underground fight clubs becoming less frequent and Cain getting lesser job offers. He was worried, to say the least, since they first entered the shop, that she would somehow win a couple of bucks over from him to buy something more than ice-cream. That would definitely be quite unfortunate for Cain.
As she returned to the concealment of the changing room, Cain would take a few steps back, turning away again, though this time facing the entrance of the shop, confidently guessing that their time in this particular store was over. And it was time to hop to the next one. They were definitely going to have a lot to talk about. And then, she left, Cain looking over his shoulder as she walked over towards and past him.
"Keeping control is less about force than you can imagine, and not necessarily the use of words. You'll see."
Well, that intrigued Cain. What exactly did Jayr have in mind? What else could be used to instill control over the people of #774 other than through force or words? Well, there were a whole lot more, actually. There were blackmail, influence, bribery, contacts, information... Quite a bit more. With his eyebrows raised in curiousity, he would follow Jayr out of the shop, before catching up to walk side by side with her.
"... Well, at least be nice enough to spare a clue? What do you have in mind?"
He looked towards her, a soft almost-pleading hospital smile on his face.

One leader to the next.
"... Well, at least be nice enough to spare a clue? What do you have in mind?"
Jayr would flop her head to the side a bit of a twinkle in her own eye as she noticed his almost endearing sort. Jayr would let her hands roll across her torso planting in her lap as they held a loose grasp around a tiny purse she'd had on her person, enough so that while she'd had in worn across her shoulder the whole time it was hardly noticed. Her step would pick up going toe to heel, toe to heel as she ended up in front of the ice cream parlor deciding that they were ready to skip to the main event.
"Well think of it this way; You be too strict on the students they rebel with violence all the more so, you be too kind they walk all over you. Where is the middle ground?"
Jayr would smile serenely her lips pursing quickly in a faux thoughtful expression as though giving him the benefit of figuring this out for himself, it wasn't hard to establish just something 'different' as she'd said before. Jayr was never the sort to think inside the box, this was her own little world to mend and shape.
"What do the students want Cain?" Jayr would ask still walking as her pace slowed just before the door, As she approached closer right before the door she'd spin about on her heels stopping right in front of the door innocently placing a palm on Cain's chest and looking him directly in the eyes with a pursed smile, "What do you want?"

--------------------------------------------- And they would walk through the next few stores, surprisingly Cain quite utterly. When Jayr had mentioned window-shopping, he had expected them to enter every single shop from here to the ice cream parlor. However, from Jayr's pace, Cain could only guess that she decided it'll be best for Cain's wallet that they reached the ice-cream parlor first. Cain had no problems with that. At least then he could finally reward her for her earlier win, before she decided to suddenly change the prize. That may be disastrous indeed, considering they were in a mall. "Well think of it this way; You be too strict on the students they rebel with violence all the more so, you be too kind they walk all over you. Where is the middle ground?""... Being both strict and kind?" Well, it was a half-assed answer, but Cain was confident that he would not be the only one in the world who would answer that. Hell, probably half the population in the world would. She really was one cunning individual. Cain was having quite a hard time reading her mind, much less guessing what she was actually thinking. He chuckled, giving a shrug, another display of his frequent lapse of idiocy. "What do the students want Cain?"The students, huh? Cain allowed his eyes to wander to the side a bit, indulging himself in the thought. Well, that depended on the student entirely, but in one way or another, they all led to the same direction. Everyone wanted to survive high school. He was about to answer that way, when he felt Jayr's hand on his chest, the Junior looking down at it for a moment before glancing up at her, his slightly wide. "What do you want?""Uhm..." Well, wasn't this awkward. His hand came up, his right index finger scratching his cheek. "I guess I wanna make it through high school in one piece."

Shockingly not surprising.
Jayr would slightly hinge her jaw to the side before her lips pursed in something of a disappointed look, a finger settling on her lips patiently awaiting as he gave that strange answer. Then again Jayr couldn't blame the boy for not being the ideological type as she was, then again that didn't stop anyone else. She'd shift slightly on her hip almost expectantly, thats right, she wasn't everybody else.
"Weren't you Captain once? How can someone who once held this position not have a grand motive?"
She struck a bit bluntly out there with a question of that importance. Though the importance of the question differed from one towards other, it grew and dwindled between the tides but it was an important question nonetheless, to understand him meant everything.
