"Well if you decide you want to have a bit of fun I'll be waiting by the front courtyard."
A bit of fun? Cain looked at her with an eyebrow raised, noticing then the wink that would follow-up towards him. Fighter, turned shy timid girl, turned seducer? She really did have an array of personalities, and she really know how to play them well. Cain could only chuckle, nodding his head in acknowledgment as she gave a soft wave and walked away, Cain once more nodding as he turned around, his eyes following her departing figure. From the way she walked, it seemed that, even then, she was still trying to pull in his attention. Cain could only grin. Well, she certainly was doing a fine job at it. He sighed, turning away finally then, as he moved to his earlier initial destination.
His locker. Yeah, he had been intending to attend to his inventory matters before his next class started, but it seemed that his plans had changed a little bit now. There was probably no need to carry books where he was going, so upon opening his locker, he was simply going to throw his bag into it and close it behind him, his destination and plans set for the day now. He let out a soft chuckle, raising his right hand and scratching the bag of his head. High school. What a drama.
It was not long before Cain would be walking towards the front courtyard, his eyes casually glancing around as he looked for the familiar figure of his companion for the day. And there he found her, leaning against the wall. With a soft smile on his face, he would walk over, a hand raised and waving as he tried to get her attention beforehand, before reaching her. Of course, he would drop his hand once he did, placing it by his side as he spoke up then, sparking the start of their little adventure here.
"So, what do you have in mind?"
Cain really had to wonder, just what did Jayr mean by fun. If she was an adrenaline-junkie as he was, then that would be awesome. Cain could always go for a fight. True, she was female, but hell, a friendly spar would not hurt anyone. If she was more of a socialist, sure, why not? It could be fun. However, if it was the seductive side of her earlier talking, then Cain would indeed get very, very awkward.

Two-Faced Jayr didn't exactly know what she had meant herself, always the random charade of tricks and turns up her sleeves as sh went through life or rather the simple fact that she'd been doted on by boys her entire life that she half expected them to make the first approaching steps. Though that was generally a major fail on their part seeing as often as she got into relationships she always ended up wearing the pants having a mate who was only possessive and creepy. She couldn't stand the type like that, they always ended poorly and Jayr was never the one to stay tied down.
"So, what do you have in mind?"
"Huh?"
Jayr's head would pop up realizing quickly that she'd fallen into a child-like day dream with her chin tucked into her books that stood buried behind a veil of her arms. A fine little giggle as she looked up once again taking upon its shy form, though her body language spoke otherwise, hips poised upwards towards Cain and her heels edging up off the ground.
"I'm new in town and I was hoping we could make an adventure of things." Jayr would smile smoothly moving a hand up into her hair parting it back behind her ear while in the same moment her free leg the one forward left would catch behind Cain's heel without a sound. With a carefree smile she'd give him a light nudge playfully so that'd come off only as playing around but with the heel hooked the boy'd be bound to fall over.
A giggle and a gasp of false innocence and she'd apologize quickly kneeling at his side for a hand up. "Sorry, I didn't know you were uncoordinated."

And she looked up at him. Well, apparently, his earlier attempts to catch her attention had failed, the Junior only succeeded with his voice. Then, as she had done so, with her body language, she allowed herself to shape the interpretation Cain had of her words, the female speaking at the same time. The Junior could only listen for the moment.
"I'm new in town and I was hoping we could make an adventure of things."
An adventure? Cain raised an eyebrow. Well, that was as vague as her offer from earlier. It did not really help give Cain a clear idea of what they could do that day. Her hand went up to her hair, Cain's attention subconsciously following it, as if wanting to see if pulling her hair back would make her look better. Had Cain had known what Jayr was planning to do to him then, he would have praised her for her cunning.
The nudge would come in, Cain not making much of it as he did not really sense much hostility from the notion. It was simply a playful nudge. At least, that was what Cain thought. He would take a step back to prevent himself from falling, but would find his foot's journey hindered by something. Unable to regain his footing, the Junior would fall backwards, on his bottom, a soft grunt escaping his lips as he did.
What the hell?
He glanced upwards, then, his right hand rubbing his bottom, where he had landed, a soft hiss escaping his lips. He went silent, however, as she suddenly knelt down by his side, apologising with a slight tease at the end. Cain stared at the outstretched hand for a moment, before looking at her. Well, this was awkward. Not wanting to be rude, though, Cain would grab the hand and allow it to be his support as he got back up on his feet.
"So, like... What was that for?"
He asked, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

The crash
She'd giggle as he fell over and would find herself taking a step back quickly at first with a guilty conscious, so she had flaws to her acting and despite the fact that it was a good flaw to have in a more perfect world she could have traded up for something like a perfect poker face. Giggling a slight bit more at the Lady Gaga refrence. She didn't like being a duplicate of someone else though every now and again people made mistakes and kindof melded together in one way or another here and there.
Leaning forward Jayr would extend her fingertips toi welcome a welcoming hand up because otherwise his "poor coordnation" could be the death of them both.
"So, like... What was that for?"
"Um, well maybe you shouldn't be so clumsy."
She'd flash a wide and obvious smile that made it all too obvious that they were both on the same wave length otherwise things were bound to be awkward, then confrontation after confrontation would inevitably lead to only negetivity in the whole ordeal. With a wink Jayr would skip off around the block once again letting the male side of the boy take over in their apparent necessity to pursue in the hunt.

"Um, well maybe you shouldn't be so clumsy." "Har har har."
Cain's sarcastic laughter was quite a signature yet rare gesture from him, the boy not having much to laugh that way at, after all. Of course, he would not stay so bitter about it for so long, as he burst into a small fit of laughter, his right hand coming to the back of his neck once more. However, before he could shoot back his own witty comment, she would suddenly turn around and skip off, Cain's eyes following her for a moment before he finally realised that she was heading off.
"Hey, wait!"
Cain could not help but sense a little of deja vu here.
And he would pace after her, not running but not slacking back either. This 'journey' had just begun. Splitting up now would be quite a dumb thing to do. However, Cain found that his question had yet to be properly answered. He still had no idea what Jayr had planned for them to do. Having a bit of time just now to think about it, Cain figured that she would have at least decided what they were to do. As soon as he caught up with her, he slowed his pace down to match hers, before confronting with her the question that lingered in his mind.
"You know, you haven't told me what you meant by 'adventure'."

A foot race.
"Har har har."
Jayr's head would crane back softly letting the corners of her lips be just visible enough to Cain from where he followed. The signs of her own little amusement from the whole ordeal. It was good that he took it so well otherwise she'd have to probably level him again or quite possibly just do to him what she did with every other guy that irritated her which was put them at a distance which was befitting of their type of 'charm'.
"Hey, wait!"
With the low clicks of her heels Jayr would hesitate for a second turning back on her right heel to look back over her shoulder eyes mixed with confusion and dominance. Was he bound to say something or was it just a call to catch up? It wasn't long before she found out, the boys strides coming to an even pace with her as Jayr resumed her long legged journey out of the school campus.
"You know, you haven't told me what you meant by 'adventure'."
The wry smile returned once more to her features picking up her pace a bit hoping that he'd not notice the pitch in her step as something of a race to the end of the track wuld begin. Though she was doing this all spur of the moment and had no plans in mind whatsoever there were a few things she'd like to do.
"Well wouldn't you like to know." She'd pitch her head to the side in a teasing manner before her eyes narrowed and a smile emerged much larger than before. "Just try and keep up alright."
Like the gun had gone off Jayr took off in high heels across the street taking advantage of her momentary boost in speed and the absense of traffic to make her way off school grounds and into the shopping distract that lie just across from there. Perhaps she'd lose Cain, or perhaps he'd impress her.

And he would look towards her as they walked out of campus, though realising that she was slowly moving forward, the distance between them gradually increasing. He furrowed his eyebrows. What? Cain would then react, quickening his own pace too, catching up with her just at the moment that she finally answered her question. And hell, her answer was simply another tease on him, something that Cain figured he would have to get used to in her company. He could only grin, as she suddenly taunted him with a challenge. Try and keep up?
Before he knew it, she shot her pace up, causing Cain to almost stagger forward in surprise. Well, that was unexpected. Cain chuckled softly to himself, before leaning forawrd, breaking into his own rush. If there was one thing that Cain was ever proud of, it was his speed. And boy, was he fast. The lead that Jayr had over him did not last long, the male soon catching up to her, just before they reached the area in front fo the shopping district. Cain may not have power to speak of, but he definitely had the speed, wits and durability to make up for it.
Hell, he even had the cheek to turn around and give her a sly grin the moment he passed her.
Though, he would slow down a bit almost immediately after, letting her be in line with him, his eyes glancing towards her. Either way, she was still in the lead here. Cain figured that she had plans set up for them in mind already, though she never told him what. And with that in mind, of course he would let her lead the way. But not the 'race', of course, Cain keeping and maintaing a small but still significant lead over her.
"So, where are we heading to, exactly?"

I play rough.
Jayr would bolt, the large noise her heels sounded hitting pavement no doubt was an obvious sign that she wasn't fooling around because what girl ran in heels? That was of course unless she was being chased and with the boy Cain at her heels until they'd reached the shopping district when he'd edge up on her forming a sort of lead. Jayr's eyes would flit to her peripheral vision catching his movements, now she was fair most times but that didn't mean she was above playing dirty.
Luckily she'd chosen something of a dirty and scattered alleyway to burst through, the ground littered with cardboard boxes and trash, nothing harmful enough into cause physical damage but enough to fluster someone's pace. Jayr would catch a small box up ahead littered with newspaper. Bolting as hard as she could she'd reach it, with her soccer skill's she'd use the outside of her foot to nudge it quickly without drawing attention to herself and continue forward as the plastic covered box would slide into Cain's path.
It'd buy her a second if he hurdled it but the timing of his speed left that period to be a slim one at that; if he was to crush it the plastic atop would provide a slick surface forcing a slip, and the box itself was a hurdle, running through would be no picnic either.
Jayr would bolt free of the alleyway stopping quickly to take a breath a hand fluttering to her chest following the rise and fall of her airway taking into consideration that Cain was somewhere near.
"So, where are we heading to, exactly?"
"Well you lost." She'd say regardless of the outcome, "You kind of owe me a little treat." A sinister smile as she eyed up a few stores at the end of the row sitting an ice cream shop. However she was thinking something along the lines of, clothes all day then ice cream.

Well, wasn't that dirty?
As Cain increased his pace to catch up with her, he found himself caring less about his surroundings. The smell of rubbish, the narrow space between the walls of the alleyway, the sight of mush and other best-not-described objects that surrounded them; all were ignored. He had traded it all to focus on his path, for as he increased his speed, it was all he could really pay attention too. He was not going to bump into anything, definitely. However, he was only prepared for things that were immobile. When the box slid into his path, he had noticed it a bit too late.
He tried to deviate his step, but to no avail, succeeding only in worsening his sense of balance as he stepped on the edge of the box instead. And the cardboard container gave way under his way, flipping to the side and causing its contents to pour onto Cain's ankle, making his next step a whole lot harder. The sudden change totally destroyed his balance, as he soon found himself staggering forward and to the side, hands reaching forward and flailing slightly as he tried to stop himself from bumping into anything.
And he almost did, his hand gripping onto the wall and stopping his descent almost immediately. Had he been a tad bit more careless, he would have hit the wall headfirst. He took a deep sigh of relief, before straightening himself, noticing that she was just about to leave the alleyway. Well, wasn't that dangerous? Cain raised his right hand scratching the back of his head. Why did he have this gut feeling that he was probably going to regret some parts of this encounter?
He soon caught up with her, though, just quick enough to hear her reaction.
"Well you lost. You kind of owe me a little treat."
Cain let out a chuckle. Well, that was probably regret number 1. He followed her eyes, then, finding himself glancing upon a string of shops and an ice-cream shop at the end. Oh, shopping, huh? Well, if that was her idea of adventure...
"Fine, fine. Let's go check out some of the shops."

V-I-C-TORY its sweet.
Jayr would of course be nothing less of a good sport, fashioning on herself a wide smile and flaunting herself out like a prize or as though she had some miraculous medal hanging around her neck. It was gaudy in her mind a medal enshrouded in rhinestones, a girl's biggest fantasy.
"Fine, fine. Let's go check out some of the shops."
"I was hoping I wouldn't have to ask."
A wink and a wide smile, noticeable that her eyes had in fact enlarged at the prospect that he was catching on quickly, had to give him credit for that much. Quickly moving in towards his side she'd slink in her arm with his forming a conjoined loop of unity and like the Wizard of Oz she'd start off with a little bit of a skip.
"So Cain, I don't suppose that you can tell me much about the school, I've been relatively in the dark about a few things. And well curiosity killed the cat, so I was kind of hoping you'd just tell me straight out."
Jayr would smile placating innocence and hoping that somewhere along the lines she hadn't butchered that last frame of speech.

"I was hoping I wouldn't have to ask."
Yeah, he had hit the right spot. Cain had to admit, she was pretty much like your average American girl, although those seemed hard to find in places like #774. Playful, young and somewhat materialistic. Cain had nothing against those traits. In fact, it was sort of a relief, as compared to hostile, bitchy and harsh. Although, considering how they had met, Cain figured that she could be those anytime she ever wanted to be. Cain was in no hurry to find that out, though. While she was still hospital, Cain figured he might as well enjoy his time here too.
Her arm would suddenly loop around his, catching him off-guard. He would look at the said physical contact, before looking up at her with eyebrows raised, as if questioning it. However, it never reached her as she would suddenly skip forward, causing Cain's reaction to falter as he attempted instead to keep his balance. And they were off, to whichever shop she would be interesting in, Cain only hoping that he would at least still have a bit of cash in his wallet. He would die for the rest of the month if it became empty during this little... Escapade.
Jayr then inquired about the school. Dark in a few things? Like what? Cain glanced towards her for a moment. well, what did she want to know, exactly? Cain figured from her actions earlier in the day that she had already adapted to the harsh life of #774 students. That also meant that she would at least have a bit of basic knowledge about the school. Cain was the School Captain of #774, before Kevala was. He knew a thing or two about the school, and especially about Mr. Durand. As he thought back on the moment, he remembered the secretary the man had. Damn.
"Well... What do you wanna know?"
He smiled, not trying to be a lazy jerk. He simply did not know where to start, and how much to filter from what he would say. Considering his time and experience in the school, Cain actually had a lot to talk about.

First stop shoes! Known above all as one of the most deadliest places for a man with a wallet and a woman at his side with those wide eyes fixated on the hunger and need for a shopping standard. Jayr had quite a bit of self control but she really did love shoes, and dresses. A wide smirk settling into her features and her gaze panning over the whole scene her jaw strung a bit unhinged at the variety.
"Well... What do you wanna know?"
That just about stopped her in the moment, what ever happened to the days when a man would just spill and run at the lips. Darn. She pouted slightly letting her lips purse forming a focused look on her face. Leaning back on her hip Jayr's body would be slouched a bit shorter than him.
"Well I wouldn't know where to start. Just I don't know run with things." She'd say at first before lacing her hands behind her back letting her body sway in an innocent motion before taking slow steps over one another to cross towards the first rack of the inventory.
"Start with heavy hitters, people I should best avoid." She'd say with a slight inflexion to her voice implying a slight maiden exterior.

And they entered the first among the string of shop, as this particular store held upon display an impressive amount of shoes and dresses. And from the moemnt Cain stepped into the store, he could already figure that Cain was going to be held here for a while. And if she ever wanted something, Cain would have to comply. He did lose, after all. Well, not fairly, but hey, he still lost anyway. Yeah, he did not have much of a choice there.
"Well I wouldn't know where to start. Just I don't know run with things."
So, she was still that new, huh? Cain couldn't say much for himself, not having even lasted more than a year thus far in #774, though he did spend two years of his life surviving in #552. The two schools were not that much different either, save it was less chaotic here in #774. It still had its fair share of interesting and violent indidivuals, though. Having being lasted a few months as the School Captain, Cain had seen the uglier side of this school way too many times for his own good.
"Start with heavy hitters, people I should best avoid."
Yeah, well, that was a good place to start. He would place his right hand on his cheek, then, mentally compiling a list of all those that had given Cain a run for his money thus far, subconsciously following her were she to walk off the marvel at the display this store had. He did not want to look, fearing to have a glimpse at the price tag and start to feel a lot more worried than he already was.
"Well... There are some people. Adam Silver and Kale Armitage are two great fighters and they have a violent tendency of sorts. Kevala Katashi's a great fighter too, almost beating me before for my title. A Japanese guy, Kazuya, I think his name was is a great fighter too, though I doubt him to be the sort the find trouble. And then, there's Spike Sudeki, whereever that guy is at now."
Then, almost as if a reminder to his first few weeks here in #774, a name popped up in his head, surrounded by blinking lights.
"Oh, and most importantly, Mr. Durand. That guy is one creepy fellow. I never really knew what he was thinking back when I was School Captain."

If only names came with a face. "Well... There are some people. Adam Silver and Kale Armitage are two great fighters and they have a violent tendency of sorts. Jayr would bite her lip, she'd slowly chew in an almost neurotic way before catching her reflection in the mirror and gagging slightly her tongue sticking out in a contradicting manner to stop her peevish nature.
"Oh, and most importantly, Mr. Durand. That guy is one creepy fellow. I never really knew what he was thinking back when I was School Captain."
"Hmm..." A small sigh as she knew none of them by name aside from Kevala Katashi, and she'd been the one to give her the title so she very much doubted the woman would be going after her at least at this moment.
"Well I suppose that'd be helpful but I am drawing a blank." A large laugh before she'd turn away towards a changing room pulling back the curtain so that Cain wouldn't be barreling in after her. "So Cain I'm going to need your opinion."
A few moments of struggling noises and motions from the inside of the changing rooms as Jayr slipped into a dress she felt was charming.
"Soooo what d'you think?" She'd say snaking back the curtain and stepping out with an awkward look on her face.

Cain noticed the gesture of hers as she chewed lightly on her lower lip, unable to stop himself from chuckling then. Yeah, well, it was a subtle action, but Cain was pretty much bored at that moment. And when he was bored, he was often very sharp, in an attempt to find something to entertain himself. And then, she would react finally to his load of information. He was probably being used her as an information resource, but the thought never really bothered him much. If it helped her survive a little better in school, then it wasn't all that bad.
"Well I suppose that'd be helpful but I am drawing a blank."
Cain chuckled at that thought. Cain scratched the back of his head then, unsure of what to reply then. He did flood her with names. She probably did not know half of those names that he mentioned, but they should be useful nonetheless. And one would have to admit, Cain was, at that moment, pretty slow on the intake. He was still unaware that his predecessor, Kevala, had handed down the prestigious title of School Captain to the woman she was with then. He would follow her then, though stopping where he was as she entered the changing room, carrying alongside with her a piece of pink cloth.
Ah, hell. There goes his excuse. He took a few steps away from the changing rooms, then, unable to feel a little bit awkward standing there alone in a woman's shop. And he could feel a little bit of glares on him too. He let out a soft cough, as he allowed himself to look instead at his own reflection. Well, he didn't look that half bad, but he realised that it was the same attire he had worn the week before. He really needed to refill his closet.
"Soooo what d'you think?"
Cain turned back towards her, his eyes widening as soon as he saw the dress she was wearing. It was a low v-neck, and the skirt barely reached her knees. A slight blush came up to his face, his eyes looking at her from head to toe. That expression on her face only served to make her a lot more adorable too. And a single word could describe what he thought, then.
"Wow."
He chuckled nervously, realising then how awkward he was being. He let out a soft cough, scratching the back of his head once more, as he allowed his eyes to climb back up to her eyes, a soft smile on his face.
"Uhm, you look pretty. Yeah."
... Yeah, well, Cain was not exactly a professional in these kind of situations.
