( OOC: It might not be my best work because I am uber busy but made ya wait long enoug! SORRY!!! )
He did not have to pry to know what that was all about, he had more than heard his fair share and as a result he waited until she was off the phone to raise his hand, shushing her apology as he shook his head.
"No no...It is alright. I understand."
He honestly did not, he Father and Mother never cared where he was so long as came home eventually. Cant have the only heir dying off.
As he shifted he helped her to stand and then did so himself, his hands brushing off the dirt from his pants before he would look back at her and smile softly.
"I will be happy to take you home or if you prefer I could get you a cab. Either way I would really enjoy seeing you again."
With that he reached down, taking her hand and gently tugging as he pulled them back down the path they had travelled. Figuring that it best they get going now before something bad did happen for her being late. Though he listened for a reply very intently.

Liana smiled again apologetically even though her verbal one was hushed, but she gave him a muttered thanks when she was helped up and took a step back to allow him room to do so as well. She couldn't help but laugh at him a little when he said what he did, "you sound like I wouldn't want to see you again."
Raising an eyebrow in a short, but obviously playful look, her hand slipping into his easily and stepping up next to him so her arm brushed against his fully. Her head was turned to the side and titled up slightly to look in his direction as she continued, "you don't have to ask to see me, Nicky."
She seemed to fall into using the old nickname rather easily the sound of it rolling off her tongue holding a considerable amount of affection and endearment. Swaying a little as they walked in a casually slow pace, her shoulder bumped against his and she continued to grin, "and no, you don't need to get me a cab...I can walk home. Its only a couple miles, and...its really nice out tonight."
Liana wasn't generally one to worry about her own well being, nothing had ever happened to her to particularly warrant being cautious, and until something did happen she didn't think that she would bother herself with thinking a creep or mugger was around every shadowy corner. Besides she wouldn't be asking him to pay for the cab even though, she knew he had it, and Liana didn't want him to have to make some special call just for her. When it was her own fault she was out of money, and she had forgotten the time.
