--- Elena would shake off her thoughts as she would get up and walk over to the window and Kale, placing herself between him and the glass. Her decision? As she normally did she pushed the thoughts away but not completely. She still held on to some of them. She stared silently at him, before placing a soft smile on her face and responding best way she felt she could. "I'm not so sure what you're sorry for but don't be.. I'm sure it doesn't even need an apology... I can clearly see you're deeply troubled by something, possibly getting close to someone even in the slightest?.. I understand that well.. I think everyone is scared of that. To have someone that cares for you and you care for them but you're still afraid.."--- Elena would lean her back gently against the glass as the rain poured outside behind her. "Afraid that you might not be able to protect them from someone even from yourself if need be.. Afraid of losing them for whatever reason it may be, especially if it's you.. But then again if we constantly live in the fear of the what if's, then we will never truly live.. We survive yes, but we don't live.. That's the big difference.. I'm not saying to take the big leap now when you aren't ready for it.. What I'm saying is don't let fear hold you back. Don't let it run your life... Live don't survive."--- Elena's head would turn to the right, allowing her to barely see outside the window from the corner of her eyes. Was she living or surviving? She was surviving, but she desperately wanted to live. It just wasn't easy in her position. But he didn't have to be like her. For once she allowed her wall to drop a little making her readable. That won't happen often or possibly ever again. He was truly lucky to see it now.[/ul]

I'm not so sure what you're sorry for but don't be.. I'm sure it doesn't even need an apology... I can clearly see you're deeply troubled by something, possibly getting close to someone even in the slightest?.. I understand that well.. I think everyone is scared of that. To have someone that cares for you and you care for them but you're still afraid..At first Kale seemed as if he was trying to avoid staring at the girl for the moment. His fingers gripped tightly at his sides as those chocolate orbs stared out of window, up toward the crying skyline. It was really hard for him to even begin to explain exactly what he was feeling, or why he was feeling it. It had never been easy for him to open up to anyone else, not even his family. Most of the time he would have rather argues or fought with someone then tell him anything about his past, or explain away his thoughts and feelings. Kale had been about to try to get spit some words about, but before he started to Elena would begin to speak again as she settled against the glass window in front of him. Afraid that you might not be able to protect them from someone even from yourself if need be.. Live don't survive. At some point during her little speech, Kale had found himself staring down toward the girl, those chocolate hues locking onto hers while she had spoken. The giant couldn't help but feel that this girl was something special. Maybe it was just due to the fact that he had never really had anyone speak to him like that before. He had never actually had anyone make an attempt to try and get him to see things differently. It wasn't like she just changed his mind about his issues or anything like that. But where no one else had even bothered, she at least tried. That had to mean something, right? What I'm saying is don't let fear hold you back.Don't let it run your life... Live don't survive. The last bit of her words still floated about in his head, somewhat sticking inside. It was certainly good advice, even someone like Kale could see that. But he still didn't know if it was really all that possible for him. His issues were a bit different then the problems most people dealt with. A sickness passed down in his blood, once in which he could only hope never developed into something that would completely take over some day. Kale certainly didn't want to turn out like his grandfather, or any of the other males in his family tree that turned into psychopaths. For a moment Kale's brown hues would close to hide from view for a moment, before he would step forward, opening his eyes as those arms of his unfolded. His left hand would lift to press against the glass just over Elena's right shoulder, while his right index finger would lift to place itself underneath her chin. His lips would brush against her cheek briefly, sliding closer toward her own before that finger would attempt to turn her head by her chin, so that his lips could find hers. This time he wouldn't abort. It wasn't the same kind of kiss that they had shared in the elevator. It meant a bit more then that. Maybe it was just his way of thanking her for her words, to prove that they had touched him at least a little bit. And that maybe, just maybe there were some kind of feelings developing for Elena. His kiss was slightly softer then their previous on, his right hand sliding up onto her left cheek briefly before it would slide down and around to rest at the back of her neck. But it couldn't last forever and after a few moments passed he would pull away slightly, dropping his arms to hang at his sides while he stared toward the girl who tried. "I'm not sorry about this one, heh. No one.. And I mean no one.. has ever talked like that to me before. Hell.. No one has even ever pretended to care. I'm not as great as you might think.. It's hard for me to really explain though, but give me some time and maybe I can try some day."

--- There was a part of Elena that just wasn't quite sure why she said everything she did. Why she kinda let her guard down a little. It was completely unlike her. That probably wasn't going to happen again. But yet it did somewhat for her eyes were still barely staring out the window while he came close to her. Live don't survive. Those words haunted her as well even though they came from her lips. But it wasn't her voice that she heard in her head saying it back. It was her brothers for he was the one that said it to her a long time ago. Actually almost everything Elena said to Kale was said to her in one form or another by her brother. In her heart she knew she hadn't truly been following his words, and again she felt that Kale didn't have to be the same way. Her thought process would be halted at the touch of his finger upon her chin and the brush of his lips on her cheek before that finger began drawing her face back to him. --- Once her face was full forward his lips would take hers in a soft kiss, unlike their previous one. Her eyes would remain open momentarily from being a little taken by his actions, but soon they would close and embrace his kiss. Her hands would subconsciously find themselves resting on his chest throughout the duration of their moment. But yes things couldn't last forever and it would be broken by his pulling away and letting his hands drop. In turn her hands would drop off his chest as well slowly and be placed behind her lower back, clasping each other at the forearms. As he spoke she found herself smiling again, with a small chuckle escaping her lips. To avoid it being completely awkward or whatever, Elena would bring back the playfulness after his words were done. "Oh is that what you were sorry for, Tiger?.. How foolish..."--- Elena would lean off the glass and take a step toward him, but to his right to walk pass him on his left. Playfully she would've taken her right hand and placed it on his left shoulder and nudge him a little continuing on as she directed herself back to the couch. "You don't scare me.. Maybe that's it, they're just too afraid of the big bad wolf... Or maybe it's just because I see what they don't and I'm not afraid to speak my mind.."--- Elena would sit back down on the couch, leaning her back against one of the arm rest and throwing her feet up again. "I still believe you think too lowly of yourself.. We're going to have to do something about that one day.. When you're ready.. Heh, I won't ask you to explain anything you don't want to.. Only when you're ready I'm here to listen.. But like I said you might have them scared but not me... Not such a big bad wolf underneath that..."--- Again Elena would chuckle and give him a wink, curious as to what more could go on that night. It was interesting and enlightening. But more so it was just relaxing, the pouring rain kind of added to the calming atmosphere. Sure it was heavy rain but it wasn't violent it was still calm.[/ul]

Oh is that what you were sorry for, Tiger?.. How foolish...
Tch, foolish?
Kale watched as the girl came forward after speaking, walking past him but not before giving a playful little push. He wasn't exactly thrilled with her calling him foolish for not kissing her the first time. But he would try his best to just push that deep inside and away. It wasn't worth blowing up over, especially not after the moment he had just shared with her. He would make sure he blanked his face before he turned to watch her form as she walked away from him. Those chocolate eyes would focus upon the small of her back briefly before he himself would begin to move toward the couch.
You don't scare me.. Maybe that's it, they're just too afraid of the big bad wolf... Or maybe it's just because I see what they don't and I'm not afraid to speak my mind..
"Maybe.. I might now scare you now. But that could change in the future.."
Kale would grasp the guitar and lifted it over to place it back behind the couch where Elena had retrieved it from. He would settle his eyes upon the beautiful girl laying down once again, once again grabbing her legs to lift them and settle down. This time Kale sat a little closer toward her, and settled her legs upon his lap this time. If she chose to move them the large male wouldn't take it the wrong way. His left hand would stay upon her ankle briefly, his thumb brushing against her skin briefly, absentmindedly.
I still believe you think too lowly of yourself.. We're going to have to do something about that one day.. When you're ready.. Heh, I won't ask you to explain anything you don't want to.. Only when you're ready I'm here to listen.. But like I said you might have them scared but not me... Not such a big bad wolf underneath that...
"I.. I can tell you that I kinda grew up in a broken home.. My dad was a druggie, my mom was an alcoholic.. Didn't have any siblings to run to with my problems. So I kind of had to grow up on my own, fend for myself."
Kale's right arm would lift to the back of the couch again as his head would drop back as well, resting against the same area. His eyes would close after he finished speaking, not really sure if he could manage to spit much else out. He didn't want to get all emotional, that would only end up making him embarrassed. And most of the time when that happened he it ended up turning onto a fit of anger. He refused that kind of action today. She didn't deserve to see any of that, which was just another reason he was afraid to really let her or anyone else close.

--- Elena spoke pointing to the picture that was resting on the table near the couch above where her head was currently. "Once he disappeared, things got harder for my mother and she could no longer deal with it.. It's believed he's dead but I'm optimistic enough to believe otherwise... Things were a little easier when he was around.."--- The love for her brother was clear. Just as clear as how much she missed him. There was a gap in her heart from his absence as well as from not being able to find her own love. She was sharing more than she ever had. Another thing that had to be clear was the comfort she felt around him. She went against her mental note to not open up again like that and she just did. Things were still left unsaid, like what happened to her brother or even what happened to her mother. Was she still alive or what? Sure she didn't like people to pry but those were obvious questions she didn't mean answering, so an exception could be made. Her eyes would turn towards the ceiling before looking down towards his direction, giving a smile to lighten the mood. "Is it just me or are we getting all mushy?"--- A little laugh and a nudge of her foot against his stomach would be given to get a smile or something out of him. She didn't want them getting all gloomy about their past. It was the present after all.[/ul]

I can relate in some way... My father has always been what you would call a hard ass or more or less a bastard... My mother started drinking and taking drugs to deal with everything.. I have two older siblings, but I've only ever gotten along with my brother... That's him, Jasper...
Kale's eyes would manage to tear away from Elena to look where she poked. He would stare at her brother for a few moments before dropping his eyes back toward the girl as she spoke. It seemed to him that they definitely had a lot more in common then he originally thought. He could definitely relate to her family situation. At least when it came to the parents thing. Kale had never really gotten along with his parents, he had hated living with them so much that he bailed without even so much as a good bye. The seventeen year old still wasn't sure whether or not his uncle had even called to tell them where he was.
Once he disappeared, things got harder for my mother and she could no longer deal with it.. It's believed he's dead but I'm optimistic enough to believe otherwise... Things were a little easier when he was around..
Once again Kale would think back to his parents. He hadn't really ever thought about it until this point. He couldn't help but wonder how his parents were reacting to his sudden disappearance. Kale wasn't so sure that they would even care. Those chocolate eyes would close briefly as he shook those thoughts away. He wasn't the kind to make a call to someone who pissed him off. If they wanted to find him, then they would put in effort to do so. They barely even raised him, Kale always had to depend on himself for money and food, his parents would have rather bought other stuff then food and clothing for their child.
Is it just me or are we getting all mushy?
The brown haired male would feel Elena's foot nudge against his stomach, and catch those pearly whites of hers with his eyes. He would immediately harden slightly at Elena pointing that out to him. This wasn't like him at all, he rarely ever spoke to anyone about these kind of things. He would glance away from the girl for a moment before he'd soften a little bit more, and turn toward the girl with a little smirk on his face.
"Yeah.. Can't have any more of that, can we?"
Kale's left hand would drop to the girl's leg, just above her knee so that he could pull her closer to him on the couch, lifting her legs slide so that they could rest against the arm of the couch. His right hand dropping to rest near head as he turned to face her a little more. The smirk wouldn't fade away as his face would drift closer toward Elena's as his left hand would slide up the side of her leg, over her skirt to end up resting against her stomach. He wouldn't kiss her just yet though. Instead he would hover his face close to hers and that smirk would turn into a small smile as his chocolate hues met those blue-greys.

--- Again being lost in her thoughts was stopped once more. This time it was broken by the touch of his soft hands upon her leg and then the movement up more. At first there was an expression of confusion upon that beautiful face concerning what exactly he was going to do. There was a look in his eye and a smile on his face that only made her curious to his plot. Before she knew it her body was being dragged more towards him, which caused her skirt to raise quickly. But with her quick reflexes her right hand shot out grabbing the brim of her jean skirt to actually keep it down as he pulled her. Her right hand actually shot out behind her head grabbing a hold of the pillow that was there bringing that with her. Something funny to add was the cute little yelp she had let out as he had pulled her. With now her bum resting on his lap, she still held a grip on her skirt out of pure instinct and the surprise she just had; her eyes fluttered a little trying to gather herself once more. --- But before she knew it, his hand was skimming up her leg and over her skirt; finally halting on her stomach. His face had already descended close to hers, their eyes meeting. He was smiling while she was still a little wide eye, her body had even tensed up slightly since the initial pull. But after a few seconds, her body completely relaxed and her eyes closed and reopened to reunite with his. With a small chuckle, that smile came back to her face and she leaned up a little and playfully poked her nose against his. This was a side of Elena that nobody truly got to see. Kale was lucky and special in a sense of the word to see this side of her. It wasn't out of character for her to be like this, it's just she had no one really that she could be like this around. Which made her all the more happy that she met him this day. That playful aura was back and it showed in her words. "Heh, well now have I become the tiger's prey?"[/ul]

Heh, well now have I become the tiger's prey?
Lets hope that doesn't really turn out to be the case some day..
Kale would continue to stare at her for a few brief seconds as he took her beauty in. It wasn't as if he hadn't looked at her enough as it was already, but he couldn't help but take it all in as he leaned over her. Then she's lift her nose to his playfully and he wouldn't be able to keep his small smile from staying. Her eyes really stood out to him though, Kale couldn't help but stare at them as he hovered close to her own face. Those chocolate hues would only slip downward to look at her lips quickly before his own would move so that he could answer.
"That's what happens when you play with a predator, sweetheart.."
After he spoke, the rest of the distance between their faces would shirk and Kale's lips would fall upon Elena's. His left hand would press against her stomach slightly as his kiss continued, slowly but surely starting to grow a bit more passionate as the seconds ticked away. His right hand that rested near the girl's head would soon lift to press against the pillow and slide underneath her head. The brown haired male wasn't exactly planning on sex, for some reason he had a feeling it wouldn't go that far. But he certainly enjoyed kissing her, and her lips had been in the back of his mind since the elevator ride.
Soon enough his hand would slip from Elena's stomach, to her right side before sliding up the girl's clothed body. Kale's hand would stop near her neck, his fingers brushing at the side of the girl's neck while his thumb brushed against her jawline. He didn't know how long it would last, but he secretly hoped that it wasn't going to stop so soon. She was definitely a good kisser, and she seemed awesome to him in just about every other way so far. Almost a little too good to be true.

--- With a wink and a small snicker Elena took in his lips once more. Passionately but yet slow and sensual, the perfect kiss. What would happen from here was somewhat in his hands.[/ul]

It seemed that Kale had been right to make the move when he did, because she hadn't pushed him away even though the thought in the back of his head seemed to be leaning toward that happening. It hadn't though, instead she had welcomed his kiss much the way he had welcomed hers in the elevator. A slight feeling of glee would wash over the junior as he continued to kiss the girl beneath him. But it seemed that this position wasn't meant to last, because he'd soon feel her apply pressure and start to lift herself.
Instead of fighting it, he would simply straighten up and allow her to do the same. Her hands would soon find the sides of his face as Elena sat in his lap, and then she would pull back slightly. Kale wasn't exactly sure what she had to say, but for some reason again the thought of her stopping all the fun now crossed his mind. That would be a shame, but the junior wouldn't make a scene over it. Instead though, Elena would speak as Kale's chocolate hues met those pretty eyes of the girl in his lap.
Even though I don't like to refer myself to a lioness.. do remember you are in the lioness den.. So you should be careful, I bite..
Kale had been in the middle of attempting to think of some kind of witty comeback to say to the woman, but those soft lips of hers returning to meet his was enough to blank the slate in his mind for the moment. Her kiss had come in the form of a slow, passionate one and he would return it in the same manner. The seventeen year old's hands wouldn't meet her face this time though, instead moving around and grasping at her sides, his fingers resting at her lower back as he kept the kiss going. Those said hands drifting toward her upper back, only to drop back down, pressing against her body before they would settle on her hips.
He would be the one to break off the kiss, even if it was only to start it again. His lips would rest close to Elena's own briefly, before Kale's teeth would gently nip at her bottom lip and give it a small tug. Those hands of his that had held movement upon her hips would soon begin to inch downward toward one of her favorite body parts of his! Kale had caught a glimpse of it a couple times throughout the day, and he couldn't help but want to try and cope a feel while he was here and had the perfect chance to do so..
I'm sooo lucky today.. This is awesome!
