You wished you hadn't lived don't you?... I can feel it, I can see it... I don't truly know you, but I can tell that there is so much more to you than what you give out.. Clearly you were meant to live..
Kale's eyes had been glued to Elena's. He couldn't help but stare at her. The brown haired male wasn't very good at reading these kind of situations. He didn't ever know how to react. Sometimes he just felt stupid for even talking to people, because he was always afraid of situations like this popping up. It was hard for him to admit things like this, but he hadn't even needed to say anything. Elena could read him like a book. But she didn't understand why he felt that way. It was a haunting feeling, the thought that some day down the road he could snap and become something he tried so hard to fight.
The dark eyed boy couldn't help but feel slightly angry, an attempt to try and put his wall again so he could just swipe these feelings away and regain his composure. But it would quickly settle down, his ears still perked up to catch the words of the female as she reached out and did something completely unexpected. Her arm reaching out toward him as her hand would be placed upon his face.
As much as we hate it, we must embrace pain and burn it as fuel for our journey...Besides if you had died I wouldn't have met you today and I would've been stuck there..
Kale would have watched as her eyes closed, his face softening a considerable bit for a brief moment. His own eyes closing as his mouth dropped open slowly. As he felt her hand slip from his face, Kale's body would shift back toward his right, his eye sight shifting from her smiling face, back out toward the water covered streets. He wasn't going to allow himself to get angry, he was comfortable for once and feeling remotely peaceful as far as Kale went. His right elbow would replace itself upon the car door against the window once again, before those chocolate orbs would glance back toward Elena's blue-greys.
"Heh.. You don't come off as the helpless type. You would have been just fine on your own.."
Kale's left hand would shift, sliding to rest on his left knee. As he looked out to watch the stormy weather, his fingers would slowly begin to tap against his leg. It would almost seem as if he was trying to keep tempo with the sound of the raindrops. It was just another tool he used to try and keep himself calm whenever possible. Didn't always work, but today seemed to be turning out a lot better last night had. In truth his word and the action with his hands were to try and help his divert the conversation away from how he felt. He couldn't allow himself to get too personal with someone else. Besides, he was far too messed up for someone in their right mind to like or love.

--- Kale and Elena were clearly two people that tended to place walls around them to keep others from entering their hearts. Their worlds. But maybe it was for different reasons. It's not as though Elena didn't want it, she did but hadn't seem to be able to find it in the right person. She was stuck with Nicholas, even though he was a good kisser and was good in bed. She wanted something much more. Something that was of her own doing, not something forced into. Oh how complex Elena was. She watched as he slid back into his positioning, getting comfortable. She took note of his left hand tapping along his leg. Considering she too often tapped against something while she was trying to keep calm, or while she was simply thinking; she figured it had to be one of the two or maybe both. "True.. but don't sell yourself short Tiger... I won't lie and say I knew what was wrong, if you hadn't figured it out I would've had to call to get picked up and probably ruin the rest of my day... So in some way you saved me."--- Elena would laugh a little as again her right hand would come towards him again, landing on his white hair and playfully messing it up to get a smile or something out of him. The light would become green once more and her attention would be diverted forward, placing one hand on the wheel, and leaving her right resting on the arm rest. The one thing he could probably read off of her right now was that she wasn't going to pry into his past, and that if he wanted to talk to her about it she will let him at his own pace. But then again maybe later she will say it out loud just to make sure he knew. "There will only be smiles in this car, mister.."--- Again Elena would give a small cute chuckle, as she pulled into the parking garage of her building. Yup they were finally there. Funny how conversation makes time fly by. Pulling into a parking spot, turning off the engine and unbuckling the seat belt. Elena would shift a bit in her seat to face him, still completely drenched in water. Before she would motion to get out she would have a brief moment with him. "Hmmm, if you want to change clothes I think my brothers clothes would fit you.. You seem about the same size as him.. We can both dry off before I take you where you need to go, so come on."--- Taking the keys from the ignition, she'd open the door and casually slide her form out. Knowing he'd be right behind her she would walk to the elevator that will take them up the long ride to the fifth floor were her apartment or rather more so spacious loft would be awaiting them. As usual annoying, cheesy elevator music would be playing once they would step inside, and she pressed the fifth floor button and rolled her eyes a bit as she leaned her drenched frame against the railing of the elevator. "I swear this has to be the most annoying music in the world... I wish I had something to drain it out.. Totally forgot my Ipod today..Heh."--- Her million dollar smile would flash towards him once more. As they would take the slow ride upwards. Funny she had a funny thought about pulling the emergency stop. Why? Well she kinda always had this thought about making out in an elevator, maybe even doing more. But yea let's just leave it at that for now, though she couldn't hide the chuckle she let out thinking about it.[/ul]

True.. but don't sell yourself short Tiger... I won't lie and say I knew what was wrong, if you hadn't figured it out I would've had to call to get picked up and probably ruin the rest of my day... So in some way you saved me.
Kale wouldn't allow himself to dwell on her words for too long. There was no way he could get upset here and now. That would make him seem weirder then he might already. The junior definitely didn't want to be viewed as weak, but that was probably once again due to growing up in a city like Detroit. People preyed on any sign of weakness, it was just human nature. Maybe he had helped her out, but his intentions hadn't been simply to save the damsel in distress. He had been attracted by the beautiful car before the beautiful lady.
There will only be smiles in this car, mister..
"Tch.. I forgot how to smile years ago."
It was true, Kale hadn't known the last time he had actually genuinely smiled for no reason at all. The most one could really get out of him was a smirk here and there, and usually not even a full, wide one. Even though he had a slightly joking tone about his words, they held the truth in them as well. He was beginning to realize though just how dark and moody he could be from time to time. But he had to at least believe these people would prefer him solemn and asshole-ish, instead of being a straight killer.
His thoughts would be lost again once he realized that they were pulling into a garage and slowing down. The soaked seventeen year old male would lock eyes once again after the car had been shut off and Elena would stare toward him with her blue-greys. Kale would stay back but he wouldn't say anything, he had no idea what to say. He even felt a little awkward. Instead he'd grip the handle of the car door and push open to step outside of the Impala. The large boy would soon follow after her as they made their way into the building and then to the elevator.
I swear this has to be the most annoying music in the world... I wish I had something to drain it out.. Totally forgot my Ipod today..Heh.
The music coming from the place surely was excruciating. He felt like he wanted to throw up in his mouth a little bit, but he'd try to ignore it the best he could. His own Ipod was in his bag, which he had just remembered he tossed into Elena's backseat. He would note he'd have to grab it later, as Kale would rest his back against the opposite side of the elevator as Elena. His pair of dark eyes focusing upon her's in contrast as he felt the weird feeling settle in his stomach and felt the elevator start moving.
"No shit. I can't believe people actually listen to stuff like this. Even my grandma would call this stuff gay.."

--- Speaking of classical music. A soft, mellow tune came on suddenly. Elena was usually familiar with the classical tunes but this one she was not, but yet she liked it's subtle sound. It was soothing, practically complementing the vibe of the rain outside which they could not hear. But if they could it would match up quiet well. Seemingly enough the somewhat cold atmosphere and the mixture of the condensation on her frame caused Elena to shutter lightly and briefly. She hadn't even bother to make a reference to how she was a little cold, it was obvious considering how she just shuttered. No real need to always state the complete obvious. Looking up at the numbers and seeing that they were about to approach the third floor, a devious grin came upon her face.
--- Recalling what they it was, there was always this little punk rock couple that got in the elevator usually around this time. They lived on the third floor and would ride up to the seventh floor were their little druggy friend usually lived. He normally threw parties or rather get to togethers today around this time, so Elena was sure that they would be getting on soon. They never missed a beat. Every time they entered the elevator it really didn't matter who was there they would just start making out. Hell they were making out all the time one would even see them. It was down right annoying to be honest and Elena had endured it a great many times. Elena wondered if they would still, if...
"Hey Kale, wanna have a little fun?"
--- If he would agree, or even inquire to what she was referring to considering that grin on her face made it some mischievous. She would come over to him, gripping his we shirt and pulling him close to her, but then pushing him against the railing and wall, following him with her body. Her right leg would raise up to rest on the side of his thigh, her foot hooking a little around his leg for more leverage and balance. Her eyes would be set on his, as she would smirk speaking just before they would reach the third floor.
"Play along."
--- Clearly Elena would explain afterward, but he might just catch on after she would start to kiss at his wet neck in a passionate manner, just as the bell would ding for the stop at the third floor. Her left hand was entangled in his damp locs, and right secured on his upper back. And right on cue was the little punk rock couple making out, but yet stopping and staring at Elena and Kale. Question now was were they going to still enter or actually decide to wait for another. Elena was betting on the second choice.[/ul]

Haha, she must be a cool grandmother then... I don't mind some classical music, but this is like chamber music..If it could kill we'd be dead by now.
Kale would smirk slightly after she spoke. His grandma had actually been pretty mean. She was one of those old, nagging women that constantly bugged you or yelled at you to do something you didn't want to do. She hadn't been a fan of any kind of music actually. She hated it because just about all of it seemed to hurt her ears. But that was enough about him thinking on his grandma. Instead Kale's mind would wander to the cutie in front of him, those dark hues catching Elena shiver.
Maybe if Kale was the kind of guy who was more comfortable in these situations he would have stepped forward and tried to wrap his arms around her to warm her up. But that just wasn't him. Sure he had his moments where he could take control if he really wanted to, but that didn't mean forcing himself on a stranger. Of course that didn't mean other thoughts that included her didn't float into his mind. After all, it was only natural for one to think of such things around someone they were attracted to.
Hey Kale, wanna have a little fun?
"What do you mean by 'fun'?"
Of course his words wouldn't be answered by words of her own. Instead Elena would move toward him, gripping at his shirt before moving close and pushing him back against the elevator wall. Kale could feel the girl's leg press against his thigh, her foot hooking against his leg. The brown haired youth had certainly been caught off-guard by it. But that didn't mean he wasn't going to enjoy it. Her gaze caught his and then should would mouth a few words after a smirk appeared on her face.
Play along.
"Don't have to ask me twice."
Soon enough Elena's lips would be felt against the flesh of his neck. He wasn't really sure why she wanted to do this so sudden out of the blue, but he wasn't going to fight it. Wasn't often that beautiful women threw themselves at Kale. His hands would lift and rest themselves upon the girl's hips, his right one soon leaving though to slide up her back and into her own damp hair. His would would drop downward, tilting slightly as he would lock lips with Elena as he heard dig sounding their arrival to the third floor. Kale would completely ignore the two outside of the elevator as he focused on kissing the chick inside of it. It was far more intersting to him.

--- The couple was staring with some form of disgust as the guy finally spoke up. "Dudes, that's just gross. Get a damn room!"--- Simply Elena's hand that was entangled in Kale's hair would leave it's post momentarily to give the guy the middle finger as the doors finally started to close. Elena's leg would finally touch the ground, both her hands would be placed on his shoulders as she eventually stopped kissing him because she started to giggle at it. Pulling her lips away her laugh grew a bit as she dug her face into his left shoulder, her shoulders bouncing up and down from her laughter which was being a bit muffled, until she lifted her head up a bit looking at him. "Haha, I love how people can't handle a taste of their own medicine... Heh I really couldn't resist.. You're a pretty good kisser by the way."[/ul]

Dudes, that's just gross. Get a damn room!
Kale had caught the words, but they hadn't registered right away in his head. It was probably because his brain was far too focused upon his lips against hers. There was no doubt in his mind that there were probably a million other guys just wishing that they were in his place at this moment. After all, Elena was extremely sexy in Kale's eyes. He hadn't even paid attention as the girl's hand left the side of his head to flip the other couple off. But soon enough his kiss would have to come to an end. The girl's body reacting to her laugher as she pushed her face into his shoulder.
Haha, I love how people can't handle a taste of their own medicine... Heh I really couldn't resist.. You're a pretty good kisser by the way.
"The world is full of hypocrites.. And you're not too bad yourself."
Kale would smirk slightly, giving her a little wink of his own before his head would drop back to rest against the elevator wall. He was sure their little trick would have worked just fine without the kiss on the lips. But Kale couldn't have helped himself either. Seemed like the good time to do such a thing, right? He wasn't entirely sure that it really meant anything. Only time would tell, but he made note of something else in his head. He wasn't a player, he didn't care about tugging at girl's heartstrings to fuck them over later on. And he wasn't going to try to get into her pants tonight either, he doubted it would happen anyways.
Those dark brown hues would drop down to stare at the wet girl still pressed up against him. He was only man, he couldn't help but feel the urges to grab her right now and see exactly just far it would go. But he would fight his lust demon back for the moment, tearing his eyes from her to stare at the little floor counter above the elevator doors. Their time in the elevator was limited, and soon they would be moving onto her apartment. He would just have to fight back the want for a little while longer, then he'd be home free and not have to think about Elena all wet. Not that he didn't like thinking of her like that.. You get the picture.
"You sure you have clothes that'll fit? It's not really that big of a deal if I go home with wet clothes.."

--- Elena spoke through her small laughter that was starting to die down. Her wet form was still lightly pressed against his. Her head resting against his chest as she kinda just let herself fall into the moment. She let herself catch her breath, listen to the rhythm of his heartbeats. Funny she couldn't even really recall the last time she ever had done so. Actually she never had. She never truly felt comfortable enough with someone or even liked them enough to just rest against their chest and listen to the beating. Why had she chosen to do this with Kale was beyond her understanding at this moment. He was a complete stranger. But yet Elena wasn't actually foreign to kissing strangers, then again they weren't strangers anymore by the time she did kiss them. Sure she's had a string of one night stands, but they weren't as many as one would think. Did that mean she would sleep with him tonight? Not at all. Did it cross her mind? A little, especially after that kiss. But yet she found herself not really wanting to, at least not yet or today. She actually wanted to get to know him more.
--- Elena found herself subconsciously gripping his wet shirt a bit at his chest, squeezing her body a bit to his pretty much like a hug. His question would cause her to lift her head up, pulling her out of the moment and back into reality a bit. As though eyes reconnected with his, the bell again dinged this time for their floor. She allowed a smile pass over her as she peeled off him, but catching a grip of his right hand with her left. Pulling him out of the elevator, she would answer his question as she led him to her door.
"Nonsense I don't want you getting sick. It's the least I could do... And yes I'm sure. You seem about the same size as my brother.."
--- Why had Elena had some of her brothers clothes in her apartment? Simply because she believed that he was still alive and that one day he would come back, or so she hoped dearly for. So she kept a few of his things before her father threw everything away. The bastard. She still held his hand gently as they arrived at her door and she began to place the key in and unlock it. Twisting the handle she opened the door and flicked the light on; instantly the music would come on. Evanescence 'My Immortal'. Interesting. Obviously it was tied together, and apparently that's the last thing she was listening to the last time she was there. She even had forgotten. A small laugh again would leave her lips as she would turn around, still holding his hand and with her free hand kinda showcasing her home. It was a very spacious place that seemed to span about four rooms. One could say that the right side of the hallway was practically hers. Currently they were in the spacious living room, a grand piano set near the window with a guitar and violin leaning against the legs facing them.
"Here we are Tiger...Just wait right here, I'll get you a towel and some clothes.. Not to be rude but don't sit on the couches for obvious reasons."
--- Her hand would slip off his if he permitted her to, and she would go head off towards her room beginning to lightly sing along with the song. She had a soft beautiful voice that was capable of singing songs of the likes like Leona Lewis, yet still capable of singing rock songs. A girl of talents Elena was. Once in her room she would remove her boots and grab a towel. Beginning to remove her clothes she would dry herself off, and wrap the towel around her before going deep into her closest and pull out a pair of jeans and a simply black t-shirt for him. And then another short jean skirt and a black tank top for herself along with new underwear. Drying herself off enough she would put her new clothing on, with a new pair of boots similar to the ones she had on. The towel would be draped on her shoulders since her hair was still wet, as she picked up the clothes for him and a towel. Strolling back to him, again with a smile - Elena would hand him everything he would need and direct him towards the bathroom. But would make a small suggestion, with a smile and an amusing tone.
"Here you go.. Unlike me I'm sure your underwear is pretty much fine, but I'm sure your socks are soaked... I don't have any unless you wish to borrow a pair of mines, which wouldn't really work..But if you wish you could let them dry off for a bit, unless you're so eager to get away from me.."[/ul]

Nonsense I don't want you getting sick. It's the least I could do... And yes I'm sure. You seem about the same size as my brother..
Kale would be led out of the elevator, his eyes dropping against her form as she led him toward her door. He took note that she had a brother, he had always heard of stories about brothers and how they could react toward people their sister's hung around with, he just hoped he wouldn't have any issues. The last thing he'd want to do is knock Elena's brother out. Of course, he wasn't so sure he'd be happy himself if he had siblings of his own. Kale had grown up and only child and in most cases those kind of kids tended to be spoiled. Not Kale though, hell his parents barely spent a dime on him without bitching about it. He was glad he was away from them, for sure.
The junior would watch as Elena placed her key into the door and then opened it, the sound of a familiar song hit his ears immediately. Of course, he was a little surprised that it just started up as soon as she opened the door. He'd glance toward the female, and then around her apartment as she used her free hand to show it off. It became apparently immediately that she was loaded with dough. She had to be rich to afford a place like this, and all the nice stuff inside. Not to mention that damn impala outside. He was actually a little thrown off by it.. Most rich people he had ever met weren't nearly as nice as she was.
Here we are Tiger...Just wait right here, I'll get you a towel and some clothes.. Not to be rude but don't sit on the couches for obvious reasons.
"I get it. Don't need my ass messing up your upholstery."
There was a lick of sarcasm in his voice, but he would toss her a wink as he felt her hand slip away from his own. Of course in the back of his mind he had kinda wanted to just keep hold, and force her up against something to get a little more action. But he hadn't thought on that hard. He wasn't usually one to force that kind of thing. Hell, he rarely ever made the first move. Kale had always kinda tried to keep himself distanced from females. He was always afraid that one day he would end up doing something stupid, and just hurting them. That was probably a large part of the reason he had never had a girlfriend.
Those brown hues of his would stay locked upon the female's form as she walked away, in which he assumed was the direction of her bedroom. Once she was out of sight though, Kale's eyes would fall back toward the piano, to settle on the guitar specifically. It was only then when he was about to take a step toward it did he realize that it was probably better to take his boots off. They weren't exactly that clean. He'd pull the steel-toed boots off, followed by his socks. He would keep them close to the door, and then begin to move toward the instruments once more.
His hands gripping at the wet shirt he currently wore, to pull it up and over his head only to toss it back so it landed on his boots. He wasn't shy, at least not in that sense. Besides, he was going to end up changing anyways. Kale would pick the guitar up once he neared, making sure it wasn't plugged into the amp before he'd play a few chords to the first song that popped into his mind 'Creep' by Radiohead. His humming, and dull guitar playing would be drowned out by the music played over the speakers, but that didn't bother him. It wasn't too long before Elena's voice would reach him again. The teenager would drop the guitar back in it's place carefully and turn to face her.
Here you go.. Unlike me I'm sure your underwear is pretty much fine, but I'm sure your socks are soaked... I don't have any unless you wish to borrow a pair of mines, which wouldn't really work..But if you wish you could let them dry off for a bit, unless you're so eager to get away from me..
"Hah. If I didn't know any better.. I'd say someone is just trying to keep me around."
Kale would grab at what he was given, and give the girl a wink and nod. It was nice of her to offer him cloths and save him from a little cold. But man, if he had a sister and she was giving his cloths to a stranger, he'd be so pissed. Regardless, it didn't seem like her brother was here. He wouldn't even bother to ask why she had some of his cloths, instead he'd begin to walk toward the bathroom, the clothes and towel tucked under one arm as his hand started to work at the buckle on his belt before he even reached the bathroom.
Once inside he'd place that stuff on the sink top, and turn to glance out toward her. He'd let his pants drop with a smirk before his left hand would move to close the door and he'd give her a small wave before it shut. Kale wouldn't waste much time in drying himself off, followed by his hair so that it was only damp. He would soon enough pull on those dry jeans, and black t-shirt and then move out to rejoin Elena, leaving his wet cloths in the bathroom for now.

--- Elena's words would be spoken with a playful dramatic flair. Her hands clasped over her chest for added drama. A devious smile placed over her lips as she let her eyes follow him. Elena always had a thing for the bad boy type, how many girls didn't? It was always something about them that one just couldn't resist. Their 'I don't give a damn what the world thinks' attitude was always attracting and interesting, at least to Elena. Why? Because despite that kind of attitude that they put out, majority of them actually do give a damn. Maybe not about what the whole world thinks but what some people think. A select circle. She didn't really think Kale was that different from that majority. As Kale got to the bathroom, he allowed his pants to drop giving a smirk in Elena's direction, who was feeling pretty playful today. So much so that she pretended to dramatically faint onto the couch from his actions.
--- Elena would laugh as she landed on the couch. Her hair was still damp, so as she laid across the couch she fixed the towel that was around her shoulders to place it exactly behind her head to keep her hair off the couch. She was truly enjoying herself in a way she hadn't in some time. She needed this today. Her smiles nor laughs were even remotely fake, not as though anyone could really tell. Her body was relaxed as she had one leg on the couch with her foot slightly off and the other resting on the ground, but there was no chance of getting a look up her skirt. Reaching her hand out she picked one of two remotes on the glass table near her and shut off the music, and placed her hand on top of her stomach, while her other rested above her head. For a moment her mind drifted off to her brother, which ironically on the small table near the arm of her couch where her head was facing there was a picture of her brother and her younger self. Not a day went by that she didn't miss him or think about him. She wondered what things would be like if he was still around, but those thoughts would have to wait as Kale would come back to the living room. A smile upon her lips again as she turned her head towards him. The clothes fitted just as she thought and he looked really good in them, but Elena decided to keep up with the playful drama.
"What took you so long Tiger.. Didn't I tell you I would die without your presence?.. Hahaha, anyways they look nice on you..."
--- Elena would shift herself a little to give him room to sit wherever he wished on the couch, before speaking again.
"I noticed you playing with my guitar, do you play well?"[/ul]

What took you so long Tiger.. Didn't I tell you I would die without your presence?.. Hahaha, anyways they look nice on you...
"I was trying to make you suffer a little bit.. And they fit just fine. Thanks."
Kale would give a little shrug as his bare feet pressed against the floor and he began to make his way toward the couch which she had playfully fainted upon. As he moved to settle down upon the couch next to her, Kale would lift the girl's leg and slip down onto the sofa. Where she decided to put her leg was completely up to her, care didn't care whether it dropped to the floor after or rested on his legs. He would settle against the corner of the couch, sitting closer to the edge with his back against the couch. Those chocolate orbs would move to settle upon Elena soon after, as his left hand lifted to sweep his own damp hair backwards over his ears.
I noticed you playing with my guitar, do you play well?
"Eh, I guess I'm decent.. I'm use to playing acoustic though."
Kale's left elbow would drop against the arm rest, his fingers hanging near his own leg. His right arm spread over the back of the couch so that he could stay facing the girl. The brown haired boy hadn't really taken the girl for a musician. Sure, he had heard her voice earlier and it was nice, but anyone could sing. He couldn't help but feel like it would be cool if she did play. He would know he had just a little bit more in common with her. That kind of thing was good to know, at least he believed so. In the end it would only help him feel more comfortable with the girl. Not that she was making it too hard for him. He had decided to stay for a little bit after all.
"I'm guessing you play all of those since you own 'em, right?"
It wasn't often Kale really talked to someone like this. He still hadn't managed to make many friends. And he wasn't so sure that would happen. He certainly wasn't always the best person around, if anything he figured he would end up having more female friends then males. Guys pissed him off a lot easier then girls. So far though, Elena hadn't really made him mad. In fact she had comforted him a little back in the car. Another thing he wasn't so use to.

--- Another playful sarcasm to throw into the atmosphere. Everything was so calm and relaxed. Just laid back. Her favorite kind of vibe. Of course she was loaded, but she still didn't particularly love that kind of life style. Well at least deep done inside she didn't. Yea she loved certain aspects who wouldn't of course. Everyone indulges themselves once in awhile in what they are given. But sometimes or rather majority of the time things where just too loud and busy. She hardly ever had time to just lay back, kick her feet up and let her hair down. Not to mention let the person inside shine outward a bit more. Far too often she had to keep face in front of certain people especially her father. But that was certainly another story. The one leg that was on the couch would be lifted by him as he sat down and made himself comfortable. She was tempted to place her leg or legs upon his lap but instead she gently laid them on the floor as she sat up a bit, which would have placed her positioning a bit closer to him but still with plenty of space.
--- He played the acoustic huh? Funny she could've sworn she left the acoustic out in the living room with the rest of the instruments. Ah wait it was actually behind the couch. Considering he was staying a bit, Elena decided to remove her boots leaving her feet covered only by socks. Again she would smile, she seemed to smile a lot around him. That was a really good sign. She felt comfortable.
"I have an acoustic guitar actually."
--- Elena would get up a little and place both knees on the couch as she leaned over to grab the guitar that was hidden behind it. Obviously her nicely rounded latina bottom clearly in his view but only for a moment, as she would bring the guitar over the couch and sit back down a little more closer to him. Smirking at him, she would hand him the guitar in hopes to hear a little something.
"I do actually.. I'm not great with the guitar yet though, I'm still learning...Would you indulge with you symphony? I'll play something for you in fair exchange.."
--- Elena full lips would playfully pout in his direction before just letting a smile fall on her face once more. Not many got to see Elena's silly side. Looking at her one probably wouldn't even thought it truly existed. But it did, it just took the right person to let her show it. And the fact that he didn't really know her at all, it really helped.[/ul]

I have an acoustic guitar actually."Oh, sweet."The junior would watch as the female adjusted and placed her knees upon the couch, bending over it to reach down behind it. His brown hues would settle down her lower back and drop slightly. He couldn't help it, he was a growing man. And there was certainly something to look at, that was for sure. Hell, if Kale had known the girl a bit more maybe he would have reached out and pinched it. But he didn't really think that would be appropriate, so it hands stayed where they were for the time being. She soon settled back down, and then handed the guitar over to him. I do actually.. I'm not great with the guitar yet though, I'm still learning...Would you indulge with you symphony? I'll play something for you in fair exchange.."I.. guess I can."Kale had hesitated momentarily. He wasn't usually one to play in front of others. On rare occasion he would head to a local bar and sing a couple songs, but usually that was to people he didn't think he'd really ever see again. But he quickly realized that it was just Elena here, and she was obviously interested in hearing something. His mind would wander as he searched his brain for something good to sing, and soon enough he would position the guitar on his lap and his fingers would start to strum a tune, his words soon flowing out. "Wish I was too dead to cry My self-affliction fades Stones to throw at my creator Masochists to which I cater You don't need to bother; I don't need to be I'll keep slipping farther But once I hold on, I won't let go 'til it bleeds
Wish I was too dead to care If indeed I cared at all Never had a voice to protest So you fed me shit to digest I wish I had a reason; my flaws are open season For this, I gave up trying One good turn deserves my dying
You don't need to bother; I don't need to be I'll keep slipping farther But once I hold on, I won't let go 'til it bleeds
Wish I'd died instead of lived A zombie hides my face Shell forgotten with its memories Diaries left with cryptic entries
And you don't need to bother; I don't need to be I'll keep slipping farther But once I hold on, I won't let go 'til it bleeds"About half way through the song, Kale's eyes would close to hide behind his lids. He often put a lot into the music. There wasn't much he did well in this world, and he liked to think that fighting and music were about it for him. He tended to pour his emotions into his music, which was probably the reason it was so hard for him to perform in front of people sometimes. Kale had his doubts about his abilities though, and he didn't feel like he had a perfect voice or anything like that. But it didn't matter to him when he started playing. He was usually pretty focused at times like this. But soon enough he would finish, and let his arms rest and hang over the guitar before opening those eyes once again and glancing toward Elena to see her reaction.

--- Elena would take a hold on his hand that was strumming the guitar and give him a little tug to follow her. She didn't wish to seem forceful otherwise she would've tugged much harder. She just wanted him to come sit with her on the piano seat since the piano was a bit away from the couch. At the piano she would take her seat leaving him plenty of room to sit and plenty of room for her to play freely. She thought about playing him a violin piece, but decided to play the piano instead. If he wished to hear her violin skills she would indulge him if he asked. Before she would start to play the first song that popped in her mind, she would give him a little smile and then begin. The melody of the words spilling from her lips beautifully. Earlier she had just been more or less mumbling the song, now she was really singing. "The first time ever I saw your face I thought the sun rose in your eyes And the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave To the dark and the empty skies
And the first time ever I kissed your mouth I felt the earth move in my hands Like the trembling heart of a captive bird That was there at my command my love
The first time ever I lay with you I felt your heart so close to mine And I knew our joy would fill the Earth And last, and last, and last till the end of time The first time ever I saw your face Your face Your face Your face"--- Elena was one to fall deep into the music as well. Singing straight from her heart and soul each time. Her eyes would close every now and again, opening to look at the keys briefly; sometimes even stealing a glance his way adding in a smile. Soon she would end the song and gently let her fingers rest on the keys; her eyes still closed with her head tilting down a little. A few strains of damp hair covering the side of her face that he sat on. Again a smile would formulate across her face as she would tilt her head up and turn towards him a little. Those blue grays staring directly into his chocolate hues. Elena believed in making eye contact when speaking to someone or when someone spoke to her. Right now, she was silent awaiting what he thought. What would happen next? Anything really.[/ul]

Her smile comforted him, and the applaud only helped to prove that she had enjoyed it. Elena didn't come off as the kind of girl who would just try to pretend that something was good when it wasn't. So it soothed him to know that she had really enjoyed it. When he was in a place like a bar, people usually didn't tend to tell him that they liked his music. Then again, he never really played the music for other people. He played it all for himself, and in the end he didn't care too much about what people thought about it. Of course, 'too much' were the key words. Everyone cared just a little bit.
That was really good.. You have a beautiful voice.. Hmm, I guess it's my turn huh.. Hmm.. Come.
"Thanks.. A lot."
Kale would give a nod as he felt the girl grip at his hand. He certainly wondered what she was going to play for him, but he didn't bother to ask because he figured he would find out momentarily. Instead he simply slipped the guitar off his lap and let it rest upon the couch as his bare feet moved him across the floor. Those chocolate hues would settle upon Elena's form as they neared the piano. She would take her seat, and Kale would settle down next to her, his hands gripping the back end of the piano bench as he caught her beautiful smile and continued to watch her as she started playing.
While he wasn't usually the biggest fan of such kind of music, that didn't mean he couldn't appreciate it or the talent that Elena showed in her playing. Her voice was far better then he had originally thought too. He couldn't help but wonder if maybe fate had brought him here today, but the question would be why. Yes, Kale had some belief in fate. For he felt as if it was his destiny to turn into something far worse then he was now. All he could do was try to fight it, hold it back from happening. But in moments like this, none of his worries seemed to bother him all that much. There was just something about this female that made him not want to leave anytime soon.
And as she finished up her song, Kale would catch her fingers settle upon the keys out of the corner of his eye, before she would turn to face him once again. Those beautiful colored hues would catch upon his and he couldn't help but crack a small smile. It wasn't a full one, but it was more then he had ever shown to anyone else in a long time. He woud find himself leaning closer toward her. Closer, closer and closer until he was nearly in her face. He certainly had the urge to kiss her, she was attractive, nice and a musician. What more could someone ask for? But just as it seemed like his lips were about to make contact with her own, his head would swerve slightly as if he had changed his mind at the last second, only to settle near her ear.
"That.. was great, Elena."
You could say that Kale was feeling a little troubled. After he spoke a small, barely audible sigh would escape his lips before the large teenager would attempt to push himself up from the bench. The brown haired male's arms would fold at his midsection as he'd wander slowly toward the large windows of Elena's apartment which overlooked the city. Stopping before 'em so that he could stare out into the city. He had deep seated fears about getting too close to people. Kale knew that there was something inside him, something so unnatural and dangerous that he had always been a little afraid to let anyone get close. It was the same reason he had just avoided kissing her right then and there.
"Sorry isn't exactly in my vocabulary.. But.. Sorry."
