Jayden sat by his car after school, in his thoughts still swam the image of the beautiful redhead that he had spoken to earlier in the hallway. Dio had found himself a way on top of the scion that Jayden leaned against, the little box car supporting his weight. Against its black exterior Jayden looked even darker than usual with all of his dark clothing and dawk attitude, waiting patiently for the text that would invite Hilde to join him in a nice afternoon of showing her his skills as a pianist.
still he was nervous, he had never played for anyone before, and he had no idea if he was gonna mess up, he probably would, his palms where getting sweaty just thinking about it.
DARN THIS WAIT, WHY CAN'T SHE JUST TEXT ME NOW!?

So, it seemed a good day could take you for a roller coaster. She was given odd looks and heard comments made about her all day, although for the most part she shrugged them off. Who cared what others thought, right? If they didn't like her, it was their loss. Or at least that was how Hilde thought, a little strange; but what about her wasn't odd? Taking the worst they had to say with a bright smile on her face. It was enough to annoy those around her. Smile smile smile, always smiling. Perhaps it was a little creepy.
Not really.
Eventually people gave up, some but not all. After all, someone so happy has to be an okay person, right? Those who liked a friendly person seemed to be okay with the red haired girl. Which was good. Making acquaintances in class would make for a good semester. Along with a few good marks... BWUAHAAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA!
The first day flew by, although it was nothing but good in her books. The school day had ended, leaving HIldegard standing on the front step of the school, her phone in hand. Furiously texting her father. Fun, right? 'Dad, going to a friend's house. I'll be back a little later.' Followed by a smile and rummaging through the pockets of short shorts ins earch of the number.
"OH GOODNESS! I hope I didn't lose it!!"
VICTORY!
The number had been found, which was good. Rushing to text him, the girl could onyly hope that he hadn't left.
It was time to wait.
WAIT
WAIT...
Good...good...good...good...AH HA HA AHA HA HA HA HA HA

Jayden sat, watching kids walk to their cars taking off to do their afterschool plans. at private school Jayden would be walking home at this point, his parents would not have bought him a car yet because the private schools bus system would take him home, except he avoided the bus because kids used to always take advantage of the closed in space where he couldn't outrun anybody and they would barrage him with spitballs and other such unpleasant tricks.
Jayden looked around, perhaps hoping to see her walking before his phone vibrated. he pulled it out, looking at the text message from an unknown number
Jayden heart jumped, and a little smile was brought to his face, dio mewed a moment before padding closer as if to read the text over his shoulder. Jayden just kept smiling as he quickly saved the number into his phone and then typed back.
Jayden texted back quickly, his thumbs abnormally dextourous for someone who obviously didn't have enough of a life to be texting a lot. little did anyone know how many hours of tetris he had logged on his phone.
He turned and got in his car, dio jumped in on his lap and Jayden smiled. "I'm gonna play piano for a pretty girl... what do you think?" Jayden asked, Dio purred quietly and moved to the passenger seat. Jayden pulled around toward the front of the school
now all he had to do was not mess this up

She'd wait for a response from her father, which wouldn't appear. He was busy at work after all, no time for text. As sad as it wash, he was the only one she'd text. While killing time, she'd enter Jayden into her contact list. A short two man list it was, regardless she'd smile at it; feeling rather proud of herself. She had a friend, they were going to hang out, hew as going to play the piano for her. What more could she ask for, actually. She had found the whole situation so unbelievable, Hilde always assumed she'd have to wake up.
What snapped her out of the thoughts and questions, was nothing more than her cell phone. First guess, was Abel. But of course it turned out to be, none other than Jayden. Smiling brightly, she'd look over the message. He didn't forget! He didn't forget! Looking up, she'd tuck her phone away and begin to walk forward. Looking for the car eagerly, the young girl would try her best to contain her excitement.
Going to hang out with a friend! friend friend! A friend! Friend! Friend! hee heee hee!
Have fun dear Jayden! When we get the chance to meet you'll be ever so unhappy~<3 AH HA HA HA HA HA!!!
The car that pulled up in front of her, it was Jayden! Yay! Smiling the girl would stand and wait, not sure if she had to get in... Or wait to be invited in. What was friend car etiquette? Confusion settled in, standing and looking like a smiling idiot. How strange.
YOU IDIOT SAY SOMETHING! D< GET IN! OR SOMETHING! God, yer so useless Hilde!
"Uhm... Hi!" Words followed by nervous laughter and the feelings of being silly. Although, she'd probably never admit it, she'd stay smiling on the out side.
Smile. Smile.

Jayden pulled around to the front, quite glad to see her waiting, she approached. he wasn't sure if she was gonna get in or, if she wanted to say something... he rolled down the window just in time to hear
uhm... hi!
Jayden smiled, looking at her with his seperately colored amber and Silver blue eyes, just sitting there for a moment before realizing how stupid he must seem.
"Uh, hey there" he finnally said, clearing his throat and suddenly opening his door and popping out of the car, he figured he should do something really cool and really nice so he went around to open her door for her. he did so, and there was Dio waiting on the passenger seat. "Mrow?" the little cat mewed. Jayden looked in at him. "Hey buddy, you wanna let the pretty girl sit up front?" Jayden asked, not entirely certain if hilde could hear him talking to his cat. Dio just purred for a moment before hopping in the back seat. Jayden smiled.
"Your cairrage awaits" Jayden said wistfully, not really sure what else to say he went with the first thing on his mind as he often did. If she had been able to put up with him this long it was probably about time to show her just what she'd be dealing with by being friends with him for any length of actual time.
Today was going to be a lot of fun... he hoped

[[OOC: Sorry xD; ]]
She felt a little bad and at the same time she couldn't help but smile. After all, it wasn't every day that one finds a young man with such manners? Or what ever you'd call it. Talking to his cat, opening doors for her, he was a different kind of person. That was for sure. Smiling, she'd get into the car, "Thank-you." There was another moment of confusions. She merely set her messenger bag on her lap and pulled the seat belt out and buckle it.
If he closed the door, she'd probably thank him again. If not, she'd close it. Turning to the cat in the back seat. Hilde had to greet the cat. After all, he so willingly gave up his seat. "Why hello there Dio, thank-you so very much for giving me your seat." Smile and laugh. Looking for a minute more, before turning and looking forward again. She'd wait for him to return.
"Thanks again Jayden." She'd smile again. " How was your day today?" She could only hope his day was as fun as hers. It was just going to keep getting better!

Jayden closed her door, feeling somewhat giddy as he returned around the other side of the car
Dio, upon being summoned and thanked purred, stepping onto the center console and rubbing his head into hilde's arm, his soft long tuxedo coat brushing across her arm
Jayden got in to see Dio quite enjoying her company, she thanked him again. "It's no problem" he said simply, not sure how he managed to get along with someone so talkative, normally he didn't like talkative people, but this seemed okay... it must have been something about her aura, so calming and friendly. she asked him how his day was... he had never really been asked that by anyone other than his parents... his natural desire to not talk about himself was thrown for a loop at this first, he wasn't entirely sure what to do. "It was alright" he said after a moments pause...
PERFECT, he couldn't have desired that moment to go any different. Jayden just smiled and thought it may be appropriate to ask "How was your day?" he offered as he started the car. the rumble of the engine giving them a little push forward before he accellerated toward home. And what song would he play her anyway?

There were not many words to explain how happy Hilde was that Dio seemed so taken with her, it was like having another friend! A smaller, softer, way more cute friend! Petting the cat, Hilde wore a smile; she was enjoying every moment of the day. After all, who would have thought on her first day she'd make a pair of lovely friends like Jayden and Dio? For the most part, she guessed it would be full of boredom and unhappiness. Although, that was just the stern voice's assumptions for the day.
YAY FOR IT BEING WRONG.
It seemed Jayden had a good day, or at least that was what he said. Following up with him asking her. Although it was a little odd, she couldn't help but feel happy. She'd smile at him, "Thats good! ha ha ha. My day....wassss reallly good! A very good first day of school, if I may say so myself." Sugar and smiles. Whilst in her mind she added, Especially since I got to meet you.
It was probably best not to say the part out loud anyways.
So so so sooooooOoOoOoOoOoOOooooo Much fun!<3 BUWHAAHAHAHAHA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
"Your parents don't mind I'm coming over, right?"
The red haired girl was a little worried, even though they were high school students. She just hadn't gone over to a friends house. At least not since elementary school. She had to ask, right? Hilde didn't want to get Jayden in any trouble. As silly as it all was.

Jayden smiled as she started talking, that was a relief, no more need to talk about him, he was glad that she had a first good day at school, it made him quite happy. and it had been her first day? who knew... suddenly she asked an interesting question... would his parents mind her coming over? probably not, his brother had friends over wheneve he felt like it... he saw no reason that someone shouldn't be able to come over in HIS company for a change, hell they might even be happy about it. "I'm sure they won't mind"Jayden continued the short drive, the Ipod hook up was playing "The red" by chevelle as they headed toward Jayden's house. when they arrived Jayden simply said "We're here" with only the slightest bit of interest. He walked to the front door, opening it for her assuming that she followed him. "Hey dad..." he said, somewhat louder than his usual tone, and much more nervous "I brought a friend over, is that okay?" Jayden asked. There was a short silence, and then suddenly a man brazenly stepped out of a closed door on the other side of the living room, a confused look on his face which then shifted into a smile as his eyes laid upon Hilde. He began to clap, a polite and humorous slow clapping that filled the room easily. "Nice to meet you lass, You treat jayden well now" his father said. Jayden's heart skipped a beat, those where the nicest things that his father had ever said in his general directions, once again proving to Jayden how shallow his father was. part of him was happy to have his fathers approval, the other part was angry that he wanted such a shallow man's approval in the first place. "this way" Jayden said, without thinking he would take hilde's hand and lead her into his own room. In his room the walls had all been drawn upon, many figures and shapes, animals, scenery, eyes, lips, wings, and a couple of scenes, an angel fighting a demon, a child standing before a lake, all drawn out right on his walls, the piano was in the far corner of his room. He suddenly realized he was holding her hand and let go "sorry... I... " he trailed off, walking deeper into his room. "The piano is right here" he said, sitting at the upright piano that took up the wall, he opened it begining to play a little tune softly. "Mostly I play Video game music" he said not stopping playing "but if you have a classic you want to hear I'd be happy to give it a shot for you" he mentioned easily secretly when he heard this song himself he imagined a guitar part as well, hoping that Victor would possibly be willing to learn it and play it with him one day unlikely... but here's hoping

"That's good." She'd smile, listening to his choice of music. It was something interesting, nothing she had heard before. But what music she didn't know could fill a tank... or maybe a battle ship. Her blue gaze would focus on the window, watching the scenery with a smile. All while her hand continued to pet the kitty. KIIIITTTTTYYYY. The drive was short, but very enjoyable, which was good. his short words, followed by the exiting of the car. She'd look around, a house. Far nicer than the apartment building she lived in. What else could one except from people in California?
A stereotype. But, she was always told people lived well in California.
Rushing over to Jayden's side of the car, she'd follow directly behind him. Bumping into him when he stopped to announce his arrival. Taking a step back, she'd mumble an apology and look up to see his father. A look of confusion that morphed to a smile, followed by clapping. How strange, but every family had their aspect of odd, right? The red haired girl would smile back at the man. "It's nice to meet you sir." She was polite to her elders, always.
Grabbing her by the hand and leading her to his room, well the contact was enough to make her face red. Although it was merely a guiding hand, she felt a little silly. Being the first time a guy had ever held her hand, she couldn't help to smile. No matter how red her face was. Once stepping into his room, she felt as if they had stepped into another world. The drawings, all of it. They were so amazing. he'd apologize, but she was far too captivated by the room.
It was a work of art. Never had she expected seeing something so lovely. Looking in awe, she'd stare for a few moments. A smile on her face as she set her bag down on the ground near his side table. The sounds of the piano brought her back to the land of the speaking. Moving forward, towards the piano, she'd look across it at Jayden.
"Your room! IT'S SO..." She'd pause, to hear what he had to say. Video game music? Always good. "Amazing! You are so talented Jayden!" She'd smile at him, hoping he could take a compliment. Regardless, she'd have to drill it into his head. Standing and listening, the girl would appreciate the music.
It had been far too long since she had last heard a piano in person. "Video game music is rather good. Do you know to Zanarkand from Final Fantasy X? or hmmm. There are many lovely bits of music in that game. ha ha ha, sorry."
She just couldn't get around it, Jayden was a lot more than he seemed. Which was super rad.

Jayden simply looked up at her, his silver blue eye and golden amber eye calm and curious. amazing? his room? he looked around, normal bed, black bedsheets, black stand up piano, black writing desk with black swivel chair, and the walls... oh the walls! FFFFFFFFFFUUUU- Jayden had completely forgotten he had painted all of his walls a year ago. "This? This stuffs all pretty old, I kind of really sucked back then" Jayden said, still playing calmly at the piano. I kinda still suck now Jayden thought to himself calmly, Dio sat on the bed next to the piano, curling up and resting in a little ball. and moving on "Final Fantasy X..." he trailed off with a little smirk, little did she know that was one of his favorite games, he knew several songs on piano from that. he began to play To Zanarkand with a certain finess. however good he had been at guitar this blew that away in a heartbeat, Piano was truly his instrument of choice and it showed quite clearly in his every little motion on it. "So..." he said, realizing he was much les nervous about playing in front of her as he thought he would be, he didn't even have to close his eyes and pretend she wasn't there like he thought he would. "What do you think?" he asked, continuing on without pause

"For being very old, its still very good." Her voice was quiet, drowned out by the lovely sounds of the piano. Her comment didn't matter anyways, he'd probably only deny it anyways... Artists.. Bah, they can never take a compliment. Even if you have to force feed it to them... with a shovel. "I wish I could paint half as decently as you, ha ha ha." The laughter was soft, if only to keep from interrupting the piano. The first song had finished and he began with a soft intro, that grew and fell once again. It was To Zanarkand. Perhaps one of her favourite melodies from the game. Wandering back to grab her bag, she'd find a nice spot on the ground and sit. Closing her eyes, she could almost imagine the beginning credits of the game. She'd smile and look up at Jayden. "Wonderful! You are very good Jayden." She'd bring up both hands with a thumbs up in a goofy manner. A smile on its tail, one that showed her teeth a little. Even though it made her feel self conscious, it didn't matter, she was with a friend after all. Of course she meant it, why would she lie? A creative mind and a good one. He keeps making this decision tough. To jar or not to jar~?Pulling her sketch book from her bag, she'd reach in and grab her metal box of pencils and the moldable eraser. Although she felt a little rude, it would be lovely to draw something or anything to such lovely music. After all, it wasn't everyday someone wanted to play for her.. Well, agreed to play for her. I wonder if he could play The final Fantasy 7 Battle theme... Or maybe The place I'll return someday.. Setuki da ne is a very nice song as well. So many decisions! I best stop getting a head of myself.

jayden just nodded, he didn't particularly care for compliments, they only made people want to be complimented more and he refused to fish for compliments, instead he just politely nodded his head and continued to play.
"thank you" he said as she complimented his playing, he looked over to see her scribbling, he hoped he wasn't boring her... he supposed there wasn't a whole lot to do when someone was playing piano. fluidly he continued, adding the occasional flourish at the end of a line until eventually the song came to an end.
"is there anything else you'd like to hear?" he asked with a smile, he was quite enjoying himself, this was something he could do for days, he only wondered when she would eventually grow bored

She was enjoying the music very much so, who wouldn't? Although, she couldn't help but smile when he accepted her compliment on his playing. Good boy...Now roll over... Closing her eyes for a moment, she'd let the last few notes of the song sink in. It was always sad to hear such a lovely song end. But such was life and music. Jayden asked her what next, it made her happy. He still wished to play for her. He was such a dear, putting up with her requests and playing more.
"Do you know The place I'll return to someday? Or maybe Suteki da ne?" Both lovely songs, she especially liked Suteki da ne. Looking over her sketchbook at Jayden she'd smile.
There were so many questions that wandered through her mind. About Jayden, what inspired him to paint his room, and what was his favourite song to play on the piano. So many unanswered questions. So many things she wanted to ask him, yet at the same time she didn't ask. In fear of making him feel uncomfortable, she'd stop herself from asking him questions. Instead she'd watch him with a smile, before looking down and drawing again.
Drawing with good music. So much wonderful. Worries plagued her mind, was she being rude? Doodling while he played, was it wrong to only listen with her ears and focus her eyes on her own art? Something only started because of his music? Surely, she'd be able to explain later. Well, that was if she was really at fault.
I hope this is okay. Perhaps I should stop drawing

Jayden smiled thinking about it, both beautiful songs, she certainly had a thing for final fantasy didn't she? That suited Jayden just fine, he loved both the games and the music, in face he was eagerly awaiting the release of Final Fantasy XIII but he would not dare tell her that. at least not yet.
"So... uhh" Jayden said as his fingers traced over the piano, he didn't mind that she was drawing he just wanted her attention before he asked "Do you actually play any of the final fantasy games? or do you just really like the music?" he asked with a little laugh, he was trying to be funny, he didn't know if he was succeeding
to pad himself in case of failure he began playing a very soft Suteki Da Ne, deciding to go with his oppinion of the prettier of the two. he quietly awaited her answer as he played, if she was a gamer he was going to have to thank some higher being for somehow putting the most perfect girl in existance right into his lap...
then he'd have to pray to somehow not mess it up
