Hilde scribbled away, a smile across her face as she did so. She was enjoying herself quite a bit, after all they both got to do something they like; right? Pushing her bangs out of her face, the girl would look up and smile at Jayden again as he asked her something. It was about Final Fantasy... Of course. Nodding, she'd look back down at her book for a moment. "Yep! I play Final Fantasy, although I haven't played all of the earlier games." Looking up again, she'd smile and wiggle about on the spot. "I'm looking forward to the new Final Fantasy! I hope I can play it at some point in time!!" She was excited, of course the game looked pretty amazing.
"What about you? Do you like the games?"
She was very enthusiastic, looking up at Jayden. Her full attention was on him as she waited for a response, there was part of her that hoped that he liked games. After all, he was pretty rad. A friend with more in common is always fun, right? Perhaps they could game sometime, or something along those lines. Listening to his piano playing, was relaxing. he was so very good at playing, she was very glad he had invited her over. Had he not, she'd probably have missed out on meeting such a amazing friend.
There was a moment where she wished to ask him more. Like if he enjoyed game sin general. What titles he enjoyed, anything. To find more common ground would be wonderful, it was all she wanted. to make a good friend. "Do you play any other games?" Of course she was quick to question, but she couldn't wait any longer.

Jayden smiled as she said she played them, this was so awesome, someone who shared so many of his own interests, and who was so nice and so ho-... beautiful. Jayden couldn't even believe his luck, and then he once again became nervous, his hands trembling, you couldn't tell from his playing which continued smoothly, but he was suddenly quite uneasy. the only thing saving him from just walking away in his own nervous puddle of self doubt was the fact that he was already in the only place he had to run away to... his room. suddenly being here didn't seem like that amazing of an idea. he swallowed hard, his lips went dry, so he licked them quickly, trying to keep it unnoticable. even if he was begining to like this girl, that didn't mean she liked him at all... or even if she did that she would go out with him
WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT!? he thought furiously to himself, he was angry at how ahead of himself he was getting, this was ridiculous, him thinking of her liking him, or thinking of them going out, or anything of the sort, Jayden in a relationship, what a laughable thought, and in a relationship with a totally hot, totally nice, gamer girl who happened to like the arts and was incredibly easy to talk to even though he hated talking to people....
yeah, that was gonna happen. He straightened up, calming himself his hand came up like a lightning bolt to brush his long hair back, not even pausing his playing as he did so. and what if she thought he was a dork for playing all the final fantasies? but then she wouldn't have asked...
"Yeah uhh... I've played them all actually... I'm super excited for the new one... if you want... I mean... when I get it you could come play it with me... maybe save you 60 bucks" he said with a little nervous chuckle, he couldn't believe he had just managed to invite her over again. he was really pushing his luck today, best to just keep going right? right. "I really love RPG's like final fantasy and Kingdom hearts and..." he trailed off, and then pushed on "I also really like platformers like devil may cry, or god of war, and puzzle games like legend of zelda or harder more action filled ones like uncharted" Jayden explained it all quite quickly and then blinked, that was the most he had ever said about himself to anyone... ever. that was the most anyone has ever even been interested in what he had to say. this was all foreign to him.
"Sorry, didn't mean to ramble" he apologized quickly, his head ducking down to focus on his fingers dancing across the piano keys, he wanted to look at her, but he didn't dare.

Oh yes, he just kept getting better. he liked games, not just final fantasy.. Plus, he liked music, animals, and the arts. Was there anyway that he could get any more awesome? That was what Hilde wondered as she stared up at him with a bright smile on her face. Pushing her bangs out of her eyes, the red haired girl grinned as she stared at him with kind eyes. There was just something about Jayden that was wonderful. So it could only mean he'd make a great friend. She looked forward to continuing their friendship.
"Really that's so cool! I bet they were all very awesome. I look forward to that day I get to play them." She'd chuckle before leaning back and stretching her legs out before her. Using both hands to prop her up, she didn't take her attention off of Jayden. Her sketch book was face down on her lap, there was no way she'd let Jayden see. At least not yet.
"You didn't ramble, you answered my question. No need to worry Jayden. I'm not judging you, you are my friend." She'd smile again, closing her eyes for the moment. Listening to Setuki da ne, so very lovely.
It took a moment for the comment about Final Fantasy 13 to sink in. Was he inviting her to play with him? Really!? She had assumed that a guy would want to play the game alone for the first run through. Her eyes lit up and her smile grew. Sitting up straight, the girl looked up at him, like a child staring at candy."Really?! Really!? Really? Do you really mean that Jayden? It would be soo cool!! I don't own the newer platforms, so I'd have to wait a really really long time!" She was excited, the idea of gaming with a friend... Spending more time together, it was all so amazing. On her first day, she made a new friend. It was more than she could ever have wished for.

Jayden continued and was very lucky to finish as he did, listening to her response, he finally worked up the courage to turn around and face her. she was stretching, and by god she was beautiful, her every curve open to his eyes as she stretched, Jayden's imagination filled in the blanks, but of course he wouldn't say that, in fact, you wouldn't even be able to tell he was thinking about how beautiful she was if you looked at his face. "Yeah, they're all great games" he said with a little laugh, turning around in his piano chair to face her... he supposed it was talking time now. for once this thought did not bother him. She continued saying he didn't need to apologize, and then...
a shiver ran down his spine, goosebumps sprang across his arms as she called him her friend. that was the first time anyone had ever said they where even FRIENDS with Jayden, and Jayden was simply frozen, a soft blush coming to his face, he somewhat thought they where friends, but he never figured to hear it out loud in such a matter of fact way. "Yeah... friends... I guess so" he muttered mostly to himself. was that what it was to be somoenes friend? to not judge them? strange... he'd have to learn more about this.
Then she got very excited after he mentioned final fantasy XIII. very very excited. "Yeah, I don't see why not... I love seeing how other people think of different answers to the same problems, its... fun to me, and if you don't have a PS3 I'd be happy to let you come over and use mine" he said, once again, speaking about himself, confusing himself in actually revealing things about himself... it all seemed so strange to him.

She was quite happy, Jayden was talking, she didn't feel so bad for rambling or asking him so much. There was a friendly smile on her face as she looked at Jayden, he had turned to face her. The music was done, but they got to talk. So what did it matter? Moving her feet, her blue gaze would fall to watch the movements for a moment. Listening to him agree to her. They were going to play Final Fantasy XIII together! Much fun would be had, that would be for sure. The girl looked up from her purple socked feet back to Jayden with a smile.
Her socks were directly connected to her short shorts by straps, she probably looked very odd to his family,s o she could only hope they'd not judge her odd and dislike the idea of him being her friend. The thought had only occurred to her once she looked at her legs. Her face turned a little red as she looked back down at her legs. Feeling a little silly for the way she was dressed.
"That sounds like it'll be fun! I hope we get to play together." Hilde smiled as she laughed a little. Still feeling rather silly, she'd look up through her bangs and smile. Trying her best to hide her face as she tried to hide her red face.
"So what do you do in your free time? After school. For fun?"
It was a stupid set of questions, but she had to ask. Find common ground, perhaps they could hang out... Or find even more things in common. She could only hope.

Jayden cracked a smile, a real smile with teeth and everything, which unbeknownst to him was actually quite charming. "Yeah, I really hope we can play it together too..." he'd never played a videogame with friends, except for pwning noobs at COD and battlefield 2 online. and those wheren't friends, they where frenemies... enefriends... FRIENDS WHO WHERE ALSO ENEMIES!
Jayden's smile lasted all of half of a second before it went away back into his casual smirk, now thinking of what she had asked him. what did he do?
"I uhhh" he said, not entirely sure what she wanted to hear, though he suddenly realized he was about to cross a boundary, enter her into his life as a true friend, and divulge more about himself than he ever had before
"I like a lot of things... piano and guitar obviously... and I like to sing when no one is around... also uhh... videogames... we already mentioned that... and... err, long walks... I really like to just think about things... and sometimes I make big elaborate plots too... and um... shoot" he said, just trying to list things off. he knew he was kind of boring, that he didn't really do that much "And I like to read... and... write I guess... poetry and songs mostly" he mentioned growing slightly uncomfortable as his list went on.
"How about you?" he asked as he broke into a small sweat, hoping to get the subject off of him.

There was one moment she was very thankful for, after all if she had been drawing she wouldn't have seen it. She would have completely missed out on Jayden's smile, which was lovely. She'd smile, just because she saw his. Twas nice to see another happy, especially a friend. It warmed her heart. Blue eyes focused on the young man, Hilde couldn't help but smile, it once again showed teeth. Totally worth it...
Listening to his list, Hilde couldn't help but feel that they had things in common. Or at least very similar interests. Albeit he was talented in music, while she was always singing to the invisible crowds in her room. Regardless, she had fun, so what did it matter? "Long walks, piano, guitar, you sing... and plotting? Oh so much fun." Chuckling, the girl would look down at her feet and wiggle her toes. There was no reason really. He's pretty nifty...
All the better to dissect.
It was her turn....greeaaaaatttttttttt. She had to talk about herself, although it was equivalent exchange, he did go along with her question. Where to start? The girl could only pray she wasn't boring. "I wander around, I'm not very used to the city. Dance around.....when no one is looking. Draw, play video games, read comic books, although I have yet to locate a good play to buy them from here."probably because I haven't gotten many chances to explore fully.."Sing to the emptiness of my house... Ha ha ha, that's always fun." The red head would smile again as she focused down at her feet, her face was red. She felt silly, so avoiding eye contact was key. her last hobby was spoke quickly, since she felt quite awkward admitting to it. It was all followed by nervous laughter and the smile lingered.
"But yeah..ha ha ha ha."

Jayden smiled they really did have a lot in common, it sounded like a great match between the two of them. "Thats so cool...." Jayden trailed off a bit, he could only smile his little smile, though she was turned away from him so he couldn't tell she was blushing and feeling embarrased when he said "and don't worry about the singing... I've never sang in front of anyone, I've always just sang to myself in my room" Jayden mentioned and then added "Very... softly" with a little bitterness that to the outside viewer probably would have seen as hillarious sarcasm.
"There's actually a nuclear comics a few blocks down toward the town square" Jayden mentioned then, remembering her comic enjoyment. and then he licked his lips. "Actually... if you really wanna read some comics..." he trailed off standing up, his long thin legs stretching across the floor and carrying him to a cabinet that hung on his wall. he opened it to reveal a huge collection of comics, marvel, DC, Vertigo, and several other subgenres, mostly super hero comics, but there where also things like fables and Detective comics.
"you're welcome to umm... borrow mine if you'd like" he said with a little shrug, deep down he had to force himself to trust that she wouldn't hurt any of them... he didn't think she would anyway.

So similar, both sang in their rooms alone, enjoyed games, and comics. Such an odd chance to meet a person so alike. Well, in the sense of likes. There were many visible differences between them, but she didn't care. It was nice, there was nothing to change her opinion of that. "Although, I'm sure you sound marvelous." The red hair added in a matter'o'factly tone, chuckling as she did so. He played guitar and piano, singing skills wouldn't surprise her.
Watching Jayden move across the room, Hilde couldn't help but be a little curious. Especially with talk of comics. Standing up, the girl slowly followed behind him. Although stopping with a good distance between them. Giving people their space is always good, especially upon meeting. He'd open a door of a cabinet, only to reveal comics. Oh so many glorious comic books! That followed by the magic word: 'you could borrow some.'
So much awesome.
Surely more than she ever expected.

It was just so hard to avoid, the bit of a fan girl in her was activated. Poor young man fell victim to a glomp. Surprise hug! Poor hug. She'd cling to him tightly for a moment before looking up with a smile and stepping back. "Thank-you so very much Jayden! I'll keep them safe. No hurting them." She'd smile, turning to look at the comics, like a child in a candy factory. "Maybe you can show me the comic place sometime! It could be fun..Comic book shopping. ha ha ha."
So very happy~

Chapter X: A new friendship, comics, videogames, and... frenefits? She was certain he sounded marvelous? Jayden thought about this for a moment, a humored gramce coming to his face, though the smile was still shining in his seperately colored eyes, he was clearly joking but at the same time, not entirely, he thought his voice was absolutely awful, and that was simply a compliment that he could not accept... at least not yet anyway... especially when you compared him to... well, yeah, there was no comparison. right, change subject, and pick up gracefully, sounds good!
Jayden walked to the comic books, and opened them with a certain calm grandeur
Jayden stood calmly in front of the wooden cabinet that held all of his comics, and for the simple sake of it, all of his childhood. the warmth of the wood beneath his hands a comfortable feel that added to the atmosphere of his room, the one place he had always felt safe and secure, even against his brother, his father, and the rest of his life, the place where his mother would comfort him and where he could comfort himself. and now, for the first time he had allowed someone willingly into the comfort of his own room, he let someone into his comfort zone. it was frighteneing and exhilarating and he had admitted when he first had the idea to do the deed that it would be both unpredictable and unsafe. and of course, that assumption all came rushing back to him as he saw the incredible glee that highlighted his new beautiful friend's face. Jayden cocked his head to one side, he was slightly concerned that he had broken her somehow..."Hey, umm... are you al-" Cut off completely by the unexpected and incredibly fast tackle hug he lost his footing, felt his balance jump right out of the window and toppled right to the floor, draggin her down on top of him by accident. as he landed he found his arms wrapped around her in reciprication of the hug, though now with her on top of him, it was just the slightest bit... closer than he would have originally expected. he blushed, his face going bright scarlett a his heartbeat began to grow faster, for a moment he could smell her sweet breath on his face, brushing against him softly, he was certain that would not exactly last forever. but somewhere in him, he wanted it to. he could imagine, laying on this floor, feeling close to someone like this... forever. and yet... he knew if for no other sake but to not be rude he could not indulge himself in such a pleasure. plus, they where just friends! and even if he did see the potential to be more than that, that didn't mean she did. he let go, a little smile coming to his lips, his black hair strewn over his face and the floor behind him, and in a breathy voice he managed to say "Sorry... wasn't expecting that" and then a soft chuckle, oh how he did enjoy her company. he wondered if his face was still blushing, but for the moment, he didn't care, he was still far too exhilarated. she got up, thanking him for letting her borrow the comics? but isn't that what friends are for? to let people borrow things and have good times with? thats what they should be for...
but then, friends should probably be polite too. very good.
Jayden stood up as well, his spider-like legs stretching and carrying him to his full height, his bright eyes beaming as he looked down to meet her gaze."Your welcome, its not a big deal" Jayden said with a little smirk, a complete lie pulled off flawlessly, IT WAS TOTALLY A BIG DEAL! HE LOVED THOSE COMICS! but still, it was okay by him, a quick promise from her that she would not let anything bad happen to them set him a little at ease. at first he was surprised he actually believed her when she said that, Jayden had never really trusted people much... but this girl... braided red hair, soft blue eyes, and cute smile... how could you not believe that face? it was like the wendy's girl, only hotter, and more mature... and jayden loved wendy's!
and the comic shop was right by a wendy's! this was fate...
okay, so maybe it wasn't fate, but it was quite hillarious. or at least to jayden it was. but jayden found many things he thought humorous that other people did not find funny. he felt it best to keep the joke in his mind... 'hey you look like the wendy's girl and there's a wendy's by the comic shop' didn't seem like it would go over very well if he mentioned it. instead he just nodded his little thin lipped smile and said"Yeah that would be really fun, I love comic book stores, they always have the coolest stuff" Jayden mentioned calmly, now KNOWING that his face was no longer blushing he felt a slight bit more in control of the situation. "Whenever you're free just let me know and I'll take you there... if you wanna go with me" he said with a little nervous chuckle, he still was not ready to accept that she would want to do any more with him than she already had. perhaps, at best he might be able to have her come over to borrow comic books or play video games, but asking to be seen in public with someone was a completely different matter. he wouldn't blame her if she didn't want to be see standing next to the awkwardly tall emo kid who no one really likes all that much. it would still make him sad of course... but he wouldn't blame her... maybe himself... so emo... so much angst

She'd watch him find his feet. Staring for a moment, before she realized she probably should have helped him. "I should have given you more warning. ha ha ha." Friendly, no hint of nervousness, she was fearing in her own way. Yes, afraid he'd get mad at her for knocking him over. But it didn't seem like he was going to do such a thing. They are acting like idiots..All this blushing nonsense. Pppppffttttt.. It wans't a big deal!? Not a big deal!? How could he say such a thing? A little confused, Hilde looked to the comics, restraining herself from reaching out and flipping through them. She didn't want to seem overly eager, or hurt them in any way, shape or form.. Fearing the wrath or disappointment of her new friend. Cool is Hilde.. You always see comics, I mean you have tones back home. Don't hurt them, you don't want to make Jayden unhappy... You can do this. His comment about ti not being a big deal was bugging her, it wasn't like a collector,a fan girl or boy... They'd normally hiss and say something like: 'For every damaged bit of the comic, I'll remove a finger. You better fruckin be careful with them! You will not live if you hurt them!!D<'"It is..It is! I'll be super careful with them! You won't even know that I borrowed them..." The red haired girl paused for a moment, feeling like an idiot. Her comment was stupid and she knew it. "Of course for the fact that you lent them to me, but you know what I mean." She was a little nervous, it was comic books they were talking about.AND THEIR FRIENDSHIP HUNG IN THE BALANCE! If she hurt them, she'd die...and they could never be friends again.. RIGHT!?RIGHT!? Fear and dread settled in for a moment.. Lingering and reminding the girl of everything.Like listening to the comic book collectors back home, the way they threatened each other, and how they fought over the last copy of something. She'd be screwed if she hurt them. They'd be good if she didn't. But would she seem rude for accepting the fact he agreed to it? Was there some kind of test.A test of friendship: if she says yes, she's no not cool.. Or something along those lines. It was a moment of paranoia, only before she realized he had been smiling a lot since she arrived. Perhaps Jayden wasn't testing her, maybe it was just her mind screwing with her. FFFFFF....It was her mind.. Of course. Smiling brightly, Hilde turned once again to Jayden; looking up at him with a friendly expression. The worry was gone and so was the paranoia. She knew how to handle comics.. NOTHING WOULD STOP HER FRIENDSHIP!!! At least, she could only hope such a thing. "Thanks again. ha ha ha."He agreed! He actually wanted to go with her hunting for comics. It was such a wonderful day.. HAPPY DAYS!Hilde couldn't help but feel a little excited, it wasn't everyday someone agreed to seeing her again. Trying to keep herself together, the girl tried to fight the urge to glomp him again. Quite the difficult task, there was no doubt about it. She just didn't want to seem, too odd. She wasn't going to scare him away!! "That sounds like it would be a lot of fun! I would love to go with you." Her face was pink, she was still blushing. From being so flustered over the ways she was acting. Because she felt so silly for being so happy. It was time to think, be frank and tell him she was free whenever, or --- screw it. It's always best to be honest, even if it makes you look friendless, right? Jayden was her first friend in San Diego, she had just moved there. So, that was reason enough, right? "I'm generally free whenever, so, I guess it depends when you are."The red haired girl would laugh happily, she felt silly... But it didn't matter, she was in the company of a friend. So shiny and awesome.[/ul]

Jayden simply smiled, his heart racing ever so slightly as she actually reached up and grabbed one of the comics, a bit of a controlled look on her face, like she was covering up some emotion. probably excitement. or worry. was she worried she'd hurt the comics? why would she worry about that? was she bad with comics...
jayden's eye's began to widen...
WAS SHE BAD WITH COMICS!?
Jayden felt the urge to laugh and say something about how maybe it'd be better if she only read them when she was here... and he could watch her so as to make SURE she wouldn't hurt his comix but he refrained, this was a test, a test of trust, and a test to see if she was really as awesome as he totally thought she was. if she really was super cool she'd be able to handle this. she seemed like kind of a comic book person... and all comic book people knew there was a certain etiquette to handling someone elses comics... she had to know? should he tell her?
he continued smiling, not allowing his innermost thoughts to be read upon his face.
no! of course he shouldn't tell her, cause if she already knows she would think he was stupid for telling her the rules of comics when she already knows them...
suddenly he realized she was talking
"It is..It is! I'll be super careful with them! You won't even know that I borrowed them..." she mentioned, again he felt a bit more reassured, he calmed a little.
"Of course-"
*THUD*
*THUD*
*THUD*
Jayden's heart raced at the first words that sounded even close to "But" because that was usually followed by "if I do accidently hurt them, I'll replace them or something"
and no one EVER replaces them...
"-for the fact that you lent them to me, but you know what I mean."
and everything was okay again, even though her face showed a little bit of nervousness, he could tell she was very serious about keeping his comics safe, and in some way he really appreciated that... no one had ever really cared for anything that belonged to him, and in a way it made Jayden feel like she cared for him in one way or another... it was a nice feeling, and he realized that even if she DID mess up his comics some how or another he would forgive her... just because... well, at least she cared. Jayden found himself about to blush again, and forced the feeling away. there was a calm silence as Jayden smirked, watching Hilde in her own thought process... she was such a beautiful young woman, and so kind... in the back of his mind Jayden knew someone was going to mess this up for him somehow, but for this one moment he didn't care, he was just glad that she was here, and she was awesome in this one moment. he had the urge to hug her, and he licked his lips while she still wasn't noticing, deciding it best not to hug her, even though he could feel his mind tugging at him to do it, little voices in his head commanding him 'come on, it will just be a FRIENDLY hug, do it do it do it!'
luckily he was brought back to reality as she thanked him again, he just nodded, a little smile before he turned and walked over to his bed, sitting down upon the soft top he had a wonderful idea, and he patted the spot next to him "You can sit if you'd like" he said, growing hot in the face, but he felt better about it now... he saw her blush first this time, and nothing could boost your confidence quite like knowing you made such an attractive girl blush... the pink tinge in her cheeks was rather cute as well. for a moment Jayden imagined her with his own style, a scene looking hilde... it was actually... for lack of a better word
HOT
though he'd never tell her that he had just thought of that. regardless she began talking about how she'd love to go comic book hunting with him, again he was reminded of wendy's... maybe they could turn it into a lunch thing? and then a lunch thing could turn into a lunch date... and then...
and then it was probably best not to get ahead of oneself. for the seven trillionth time that afternoon Jayden reminded himself to BACK UP instead of getting ahead of himself, which truly seemed like his new favorite hobby. "I think you'll really like my comic place I shop at... it has a very family feel to it, everyone there is pretty cool" Jayden mentioned calmly, though honestly he didn't really know anyone except for one of the guys behind the counter, who wasn't exactly a friend, but he was very friendly, and treated jayden like a friend whenever he was in the store... but maybe thats just because jayden was one of the few people who actually spent money whenever he was in the store... oh well.
she told him her schedule... which was surprisingly open. Jayden found it hard to believe a girl this awesome wasn't constantly doing... something, with somebody, or something.
"Thats cool..." Jayden said, laying down now on his bed, "I'm usually free too" he said, his seperately colored eyes with a little twinkle in them as his head lay against the black bedsheets, his hair matching them so his head looked rather small. "we can go whenever you want... I'm not doing anything tomorow if you'd want to go..." he mentioned, feeling all sorts of good about this, though he was still expecting a 'oh sorry, tomorows actually bad for me, I've got a date with my boyfriend' or something, but at this point even that wouldn't ruin how awesome this day had been. Jayden could finally understand...
well, he finally understood a lot of things.

Looking through his selection, she'd find that he had several things she didn't but their taste was similar in many ways..Super heroes...and detectives..More so superheroes. They were her favourite, no matter how corny their clothings, how racist and horrible some comments were. The art was nice, even the old comics... The stories were really what dragged her in, luring her to stores to buy more. She was odd, but comics were something she really liked. One of many geeky things. She couldn't help but smile as she scanned the titles and volume numbers. So amazing.. The plastic..everything.
<3
You better not hurt them...You don't want to know what he'll do if they are hurt...
HORRIBLE THINGS!!! Kidnapping my comics... Removing my finger nails!?! Removing the staples and covering my comics in peanut butter finger prints... OH THE HORROR!!!
Yep, better be careful...idiot...
Turning around, she'd once again face Jayden. He was sitting on the bed and offering her a seat.On his bed... It was just sitting with him, but still. Sitting down towards the end of the bed, Hilde would bring her legs up onto the bed and sit cross legged. Looking down at her purple stockings for a moment before focusing once more on her new friend.
It was something interesting, she hadn't expected to be sitting in a young man's room talking about going comic book shopping, especially after listening to him playing the piano...Video game music none the less. There was part of her that was really happy, making such a wonderful friend, one whom she held so many similarities and one who trusted her with..COMICS. It all seemed too good to be true, there was a small feeling of despair that seemed to dwell in the back of her mind. Something that told her that Jayden would run, just like everyone else. Would he be chased off like the people from the previous city? Hilde could only hope he wasn't easy to scare.
Shaking her head, the small frown that had moved in place would curl once more to form a smile. A friendly comic book store was always something good. Making friends, talking about comics, having many people that you hold common ground with. All so wonderful. Of course, no one would be able to replace her dear dark haired friend. He was super rad.
"Sounds like a nice place, I can't wait to go."
Bright blue coloured eyes wandered, looking over the walls and the paintings upon the walls. Of course the red haired girl was having a little bit of a hard time getting over the walls, they were pretty amazing.. Painting was difficult. Also she couldn't believe his parents approved of it, if they did. Maybe ti was the wonders of never moving; living in one house for along time. Something Hilde had wanted for a long time, but never seemed to be possible after her mother's passing.
Movement from the corner of her eye caught Hilde's attention. Turning her attention once more to Jayden, she'd see him lay back. Blending into the bed almost like a chamelon, had it not been for his pale skin, she'd probably have not seen him. Her was laying down on the bed she was sitting on.... .///////.;;;; A little strange, perhaps it was just the way her father had raised her, or the lack of interaction with people her own age. Hilde wasn't used to such trivial things, like... visiting a person's house..especially someone of the opposite sex.
He was just so pretty...Like a porcelain doll, pale skin, dark hair, and the way he was still, apart from the fact he was breathing.
Focus Focus Focus.
She wasn't busy, he wasn't busy. A day out comic book hunting with Jayden over the weekend? It sounded so amazing and a lot of fun. She'd smile again, her teeth showing for a moment, before she shrank in size. Still looking at her him, the girl wound nod. "Tomorrow sounds lovely. Are you sure you won't be sick of me?" Of course that was something that worried the girl. Someone tiring of her because of over exposure. After all, there's only so long a person can stand someone, right!?
Don't get sick of me... Don't get sick of me. Please don't get sick of me friend.
Silly girls and their worries....hah...
Of course, after saying such a thing so randomly, the girl couldn't help but feel a little silly about it. To randomly voice a fear of him disliking her..tiring of her. It was a little strange, right!? They had just met, right? Even though stranger things had happened already, Hilde couldn't help but worry. Girl's did that....a lot. "I'd love to go tomorrow." A horrible attempt to save herself. Masking worry with cheerfulness and smiles, the best way to cover mistakes;right....RIGHT!!!!
The more thoughts that went into the adventures they'd have, the more questions arose, would it just be comic hunting? Or would they get to spend more time together wandering about? Would it be pushing her luck to ask that? Would it be annoying. Oh woe...oh woe... The correct questions to ask are always so difficult. Even though her mind was a buzz with worry and questions she never let the smile slip away. Pleasseeee don't let me push my luck. I don't want to make him unhappy.
.....girls.....sheessshhhh.... So silly worrying over such idiotic things.

He watched her go through his comics for a moment longer, eventually getting over the little chill that happened everytime she touched one, hell, every time she looked at one... he wondered for a moment if she liked what she saw... but then, one would not be so excited if they did not like what they saw right? unless she was just trying to be nice and pretending to like what she saw... would she do that? of course not! this was hilde... and she was amazing, why would she ever do that. and as she walked over Jayden really took in her interesting and well thought out fashion sense, it was quite a delight to see someone with a bit of creativity, as apposed to the usual 'stereotypical hot chick who wears t-shirts and jeans, or skirts with some sort of accesory style top. refreshing things where quite refreshing to jayden, and at the risk of being corny, hilde was like a tall glass of water.
and she couldn't wait to go... it sounded so nice hearing those words, it put jayden at ease that someone actually enjoyed his company... or at very least was able to tolerate his company enough to want to accompany him to the local comic shop. but beside the dusty rags, there was something more to this girl... even more than just being pretty, and incredibly sweet and well mannered... this girl was... just something else entirely, and in the best way possible, jayden smiled, watching her look around a bit, getting lost in her own thoughts, he unlike most people, quite liked the silence of a room when no one was talking, so he was having a wonderful time, until she noticed that he had now laid down. this seemed to send her some mixed emotions... perhaps jayden was being too comfortable with her? Jayden thought of getting up, but then thought it was too late, that would seem unnatural at this point... he had made his choices, now he had to deal with them. still jayden felt ridiculously stupid at his own poor foresight.
still his mind caught on her looking at the walls, and his own seperately colored eyes began to wander as well, taking in the little details of his intricate artwork. perhaps to someone who didn't know him they wouldn't think that he had done all of this in one afternoon. of course he did not consider himself a 'great artist' of any sort, he just knew basic principals of shading, objects, big to small ratio, and he knew how to apply them in an artful way, and he was simply blessed to have the skilled eyes of an artist. still, he supposed they where kind of neat, but it didn't change his opinion of his own work. instead her voice brought him back to her attention, tommorow was good? no no my dear, tomorow was great.
"Sick of you?" Jayden asked, his eyebrow going up, he was uncertain how someone could get sick of being in the company of others. "Of course not, how can you get sick of something that makes you feel better?" he said the first thing that came to his mind, the second of course would have been an attempt at humor 'yeah, I'll be so sick I can't even leave, and then you'll have to take care of me' but he didn't say that, because it was FAR outside of his boundaries for the moment... she said she would love to go tomorow... love... and thats when he realized how outside of his boundaries what he had ACTUALLY SAID was... "I mean... you know... obviously too much medicine is bad for you but... ummm" his witty recovery was less than stellar as he just kind of went quiet, looking around and then smiling a little 'yeah, I know I suck' smile that was cheesy and stupid. he couldn't believe how comfortable he felt with her, even if his brain was stupid mush when she was around... honestly, how could he not want to be around her all the time? She was the one being silly.
without being able to read her mind he accidently answered the questions she was thinking, simply by continuing the conversation.
"So I was thinking... if you wanted, after comic book hunting we could go grab some lunch or something and then just... hang out or something, I dunno" he said, his words getting progressively more shy and inaudible as he continued. Jayden was not really 'shy' just anti-social, but this girl actually made him feel a little bit flustered... a feeling he both revelled in, and wanted gone as soon as possible, as it inhibited him of his regular thoughts. the desire to spend as much time around this beautiful amazing person was so overwhelming... no wonder so many kids plunged themselves into relationships that could never possibly work out, they just want that thrill of liking someone.
FOOLS!
He then leaned up, realizing he was much closer to her than he expected to be upon leaning up "is the silence bothering you? I can put on some music" Jayden quickly said, his mind trailing back to that horrible thought of 'i must be boring her, and this silent room must be driving her nuts' thought. and so he did the only thing he knew how to do very well. spoke his mind, and waited patiently for an answer, as was his way. he slowly began to wonder what else to do TODAY apart from making plans for tomorow...
he wasn't so sure what he could do with her other than play piano... they where in his room... he could show her some art? but thats an awful idea, his art sucks! he could show her his poetry... but then... that was quite personal to him, and also not very good. or maybe...
he could learn more about her? ask her to show some things of herself? this wasn't the jayden show, in fact that would be an awful show, and so jayden decided to swing things around the next chance he got.

His words seemed kind as he tried to tell her that she was no bother and he wasn't going to get sick of hanging around her...any time soon. It was nice, bringing a smile to the girl's face once more, she looked over at Jayden. He was speaking again, from normal volume, slowly getting a little more quiet. Hilde couldn't help but wonder why. Maybe he was getting nervous? Did guys get nervous around normal girls like her? It was strange, yet at the same time, slowly ate away at the quiet Jayden she had met in the hallway. Well, a little. He seemed very distant before hand, although that could have been the dim lighting, his choice in clothes, and the fact he was playing a guitar in the school hallway.
"Lunch sounds like fun. I'd love to hang out with you tomorrow"
It was just something she had to laugh at, she really wanted to hang out with him. Even if it seemed a little odd, or if she seemed too desperate to spend time with him. It wasn't that, he just seemed to be a lot of fun. Spending time with someone was good, or at leasts he thought so. "I can't wait. ha ha ha." Boy did she ever feel stupid again, did she seem too eager to be around him? The laws of normal friend interaction was still very foreign to her.
Sitting cross legged can only be comfortable for so long before it gets annoying.Especially with straps connected to one's socks, yeah never quite fun. Hilde Found space on the bed and lay back, her feet planted firmly at the end of the bed. Looking to the ceiling Hilde couldn't help but wonder if she crossed a line, its just he looked so comfy. Once her head found the bed, she'd close her eyes for a moment. It was comfy!
Slowly her eyes opened, she'd once more look to the ceiling and then over at Jayden. "It's fine, I don't mind the silence. Unless you want music." She'd smile again pushing her hair away form her forehead. it was actually nice and comfy, enjoying the artistic vibes from the walls, enjoying the company of a friend. Music would make it noisy and probably would captivate her attention a little more. Comparing music tastes and all. She was fine with laying on his bed laying... As weird as it was.
o___o;;;
O___O;;;
Maybe she was stepping over some line...At least she hoped she wasn't violating any form of rule. It didn't matter, right? It was comfy and she was talking to her friend, its not like it wasn't G-rated or weird in any way, right? The worry lingered in her mind, but of course it wasn't voiced. After acting like a fool up to that point, she didn't exactly wish to make any more mistakes. She'd smile away, it was actually really nice to spend time with friends. Far more fulfilling than spending so much time alone.
"So, what time do you want to meet up at?" Looking up once again, she'd focus on the roof. He mind wandered a little, like what to wear, where to meet. Silly things a girl frets over. Hilde was a little odd, somewhat geeky, but she still was a girl. They always seemed to worry and fear things so simple like meeting with a friend. "I'm still pretty new to this area, where would you like to meet?"
