"Sounds like a plan to me." Hilde smiled as she got in the car. He was quite the gentleman, it made her smile again. She'd close the door and buckle up, looking over at him for a moment before grasping the cuff of her jacket, trying to hide her wounded hand. There was dried blood on it, and it hurt to touch it. Yet she still clenched her hand tightly, inflicting more and very unnecessary pain. Not to bother her friend with such trivial things, right?
Hilde looked over at Shane, wondering if he was really okay. After all, he had gotten hit on the head. Must....stop worrying... Smiling away, Hilde was trying to act like herself, even though her mind was cluttered with worrisome thoughts and dread.
"Thanks Shane."

I saw her clutch her hand and try to smile through it. "Here when we get to Kim's I'll pick up some stuff for that hand of yours okay?" I asked and smirked to reassure her before we drove off. She was worried it was easy to read that much from her but I couldn't do much at that point.
I drove to Kim's and thanked whoever a little bit for him keeping it open late. I felt my pants vibrate a little bit; my phone went off. I pulled it out and saw Brent on the ID. I looked at Hilde with a sorry expression, "Listen I need to take this, could you wait for me inside and get your drink, I'll be right in okay?"

Shane was apparently quite observant, or she was just too obvious...Probably the latter. She'd look down at her lap, feeling a little ashamed of herself. In the end she was going to trouble him. LAMEEEEE D:. Trying to smile, she'd look over at him and turn away. Hilde felt guilty. "I'm sorry."
When they arrived she was about ready to get out when she heard the vvvvvvvv of a vibrating cell phone. Looking over she saw a very down expression on Shane's face. Hilde's heart sunk a little, what was troubling Shane now? He'd then say the phone call was urgent and couldn't be missed.
"Alright, I'll meet you inside." Smile. Smile.
Nodding, Hilde got out of the car and headed into the store, feeling a little awkward about being sent in a lone and also she couldn't get his expression out of her mind. Why had Shane looked that way?
The poor dear..

I watched her walk off before I got out to answer it. "Brent." I said. "Nice to hear from you too Shane." He said with a content tone, "Heard what happened at the museum, glad to see you had fun." "Just a warm up." I said sarcastically. "The papers will run your name tomorrow." He said, "Said you gave the name to some girl with a knife." I looked into the store. "I'll deal with the story later." I said, "Besides at least it'll give the element a name to be scared of." "Sure, Now about Strovynsk." "Strovynsk did have links to Russian mafia." I explained I walked over and leaned onto the wall of the store, "Turns out the operation he was working with was a small fry operation, though they did answer to some big names. Sergei Mirminsky was going to steal the exhibit and all the money from the rich people there. They were gonna black market the paintings and make the bid for your company and would use the experience to gain the pity vote."
"I see..." "Let's just say a very big bird can get chatty." I said, "Now if you'll excuse me I've got to see someone about a few drinks." I hung up and walked into the store. "Kim, how you doing my friend?" I said in Korean.

Hilde felt out of place in the store, although she turned and smiled at Shane. Listening to him speak Korean was a little odd, yet rather cool. He could speak a second language! That in its own was rather interesting. She spoke German, but was probably pretty rusty, due to all her time in America.
The question was... To go to his side or wait for him to finish talking to the owner?
DECISIONS.
Red blue eyes watched Shane, she felt better seeing him. After all he did know them...lies but not. She'd make her way over to him slowly, unsure of what to do or say.
v///v;; Ugh...Why am I being like this?

"Ahh, round eye, good to see you again...take a bath." Kim replied in Korean I chuckled and shook my head. I talked to her a little bit and noticed his eyes glance back and forth. I couldn't help but let it make me chuckle.
"You know you can come up here no one's gonna bite...Are you Kim?" I asked Mr. Kim he chomped a little bit and chuckled. "C'mon Hilde."

Out of place out of place. She didn't understand the conversation, it was kind of weird. Although when Shane told her to follow him, she did. "Alright Shane." MUST NOT SEPARATE FROM FRIEND! She'd smile at Mr. Kim and Shane, feeling a little out of the loop. Although, she was never in the loop to begin with. SOOOOOOO there was no loss. She'd look around for a few moments before turning her attention to the ground. Blanking hard core on what to do next? Remain silent or try and enter the conversation...
Silence was the best answer to her question.

"Alright, this seems to be it for tonight Kim." I said in English, I pulled out my wallet and paid for Hilde's stuff and turned to her. "Ready for me to take you home or is there something you want to do?" I asked her.

And just like that their evening was over, he was getting ready to drive her home. She had at least assumed they'd sit for a bit and chit chat over the orange juice. No, he was getting ready to ditch her. Well, it was getting late, he was probably pretty tired and getting ready for bed. Who knew. Smiling the red haired girl nodded, "Yeah, I think its best to head home."
She needed to clean and wrap her hand, and probably crash.. Being late for school the next day would suck.

I drove her back home and couldn't help but think this was actually a good night...aside from getting shot at beating up a russian mafia guy and now he was taking one of the few friends he actually had in this stinking city back hom after she injured herself. 'I am one of those guys I guess...' I said to myself.
I parked the car in front of her house and got out and opened her door for her. "Well my good friend, we arrived at your abode." I said. holding my hand out.

The ride to her house was pretty quite, it kind of felt a little depressing. Then again they were both tired, she was actually looking forward to having a meeting with her bed. SLEEP SOUNDED PRETTY GOOD. Hilde smiled at Shane as she watched him get out in front of her apartment building. She moved a little slower, getting her belt undone by the time he got to her door. Opening it and offering her a hand out.
SUCH A GENTLEMAN<3
Looking up at him, she'd smile taking his hand and getting out of the car. Boy was Shane ever a sweetheart... SHE SHOULD SLAP HERSELF! To think of such things, even if he was really nice. "Why thank-you for the ride home, this evening was lovely." Smile and chuckle. In her left hand, she held the bad handles, the plastic in her hands becoming red in her palm.

I looked at her hand and then to her with a worried expression. "I'm sorry this night couldn't be better than well...me getting cold-clocked in the back of my head and you getting hurt. I should've done better." I said leading her up to the door. "Here, I'll make it up to you." I said.
"You've got my number, any time you want to do something, and I mean anytime just call me and I'll be over and it's on me." I said with a smile.

He was being so cute and gentleman like, it was so odd and yet at the same time.. it wasn't. It was just Shane, thats what she adored about him. Quite the interesting character and always full of surprises. Which was good. He'd walk her all the way to the front doors of her building. Apologizing about the evening and how he'd make it up to her, how sweet. She'd smile and hug him before opening the doors and heading to the buzzer.
"Thank's Shane! I have a lot of fun. Minus whatever happened when I blacked out. ha ha. I'll see you around."
With that she'd punch in the code for the front door and head to the elevator. Looking back for a moment, waving if he was still there and then disappearing into the elevator. It would take a few minutes for her to reach her floor and her apartment. Where she'd drop the bag on the kitchen table and remove her coat. Wandering into the kitchen, she'd wash the two long and deep cuts on her hand. The water stung, and the movement, heading back to the table, she'd sit down and dab the cuts with alcohol before wrapping her hand in gauze and medical tape. Probably a shit job... Hilde didn't have much knowledge in tending to cuts of that sort.
To her discontent, Abel headed in, only to see bloody paper towels, tape, and a little bit of a mess she had made in attempting to cover her palm. Discarded bandages, in hopes of using something not noticeable. Dropping his stuff beside the door, he'd rush in after closing the door. Taking Hilde's hand in his, he'd remove the covering and look at her. DAD WAS WORRIEDDDD!! D< Who did it? Who did he have to hurt? and who was going to jail?
he didn't ask, he knew she'd tell him in her own time. Instead, he'd clean it and cover it properly. His silly silly daughter, what was he going to do with her? The rest of the evening followed with movies, hot chocolate, and explaining to her father what had happened. Safe to say it was a really late night, which ended in her crashing around six in the morning.
The poor girl would probably miss school.

I smirked after I saw her disappear into her elevator and head home. I decided I should do the same and preapre for patrol. 'I'll need to keep ann eye on her.' I said to myself. 'First smart thing you said all night.' 'I cannot believe it, it has a sense of humor.' He didn't say anything and I drove off.
I went through town looking for anything that could get me closer to the Russian mob. My search led me to Little Moscow. I worked my way through several russian bars and found out that Mirminsky was working for a guy named Molotov. He worked deep in the meat packing district, apparently he made his bid for power by killing off the people in front of him for power. He was small time before that, drugs pimping hell he made his best work in traficing.
Sneaking in wasn't that hard. He was so secure about his protection that the guard he had was just a loafer. Knocked him out with a solid strike to his temples and struck his throat to make sure he doesn't make that much of a sound. I then kicked in the door. "Who dares walk into my office with out-" "Save it Molotov." I said, "You are in my city, and trust me when I say if I find out you're doing anything in my city I will bring you down." His eyes narrowed and he stood up, the man was 6'6 and I just scowled, "You talk big American." "I hit harder." I said with a smirk. I turned my back on him and on cue someone came at me with a blade. I twisted my body slightly and caught his arm broke that elbowed him in the face and threw him onto Molotov's desk. "Consider that my card." I said before I walked off.
-Molotov-
Molotov yelled before he dropped forcefully onto his chair. "I want that man dead!" and he began cursing in Russian and a phone on the desk began ringing, "Da." He growled. He began speaking in Russian then he opened his eyes. "Knightmare? And a girl?" He began smiling. "Good..." He said and hung up.
"Get my best men, we have work that needs doing."
