The sound of cheering filled the warehouse, the smell of smoke and alcohol overpowering the stench of sweat and blood, as men of all social status surrounded the caged ring. Yes, it was another one of those illegal underground fighting rings, the event holding both the rich, the drunk and the poor. And like most nights, Cain was in the cage, the small fighter slowly gaining popularity, despite his considerably small size compared to the other larger fighters. He was topless, clad only in his black yellow-striped shorts and his Nike Dunks. His fists were taped, under his tape, he wore the Sabre Ring.
Hopping left and right, the smaller fighter would make full use of his advantages in speed and agility, dodging every one of his opponent's two-dimensional attacks, countering with heavy strikes to the lower ribs, where the flesh was most vulnerable. And he never even bothered to add gales to his punches, knowing that his normal strikes would be enough. And how was he able to keep on going? Well, it was simple. He still wore his necklace, and with every drip of blood shed, Cain made sure to absorb with the gem, adding onto his energy then with feral bloodlust.
And with every win, he only got more hostile and merciless. With every match, more and more blood were being shed. And with every match, more and more people were earning money from Cain's wins. Then, with one last roundhouse kick, he threw his opponent to the ground head-first. And the crowd erupted. Cain would take a few steps back, calming himself as the announcer went on with his job, calling on for the bouncers to carry his opponent off the ground, before calling for Cain's next opponent.
Cain would allow his emerald eyes to glance around. This was refreshing, to say the least. Ever since Zen's disappearance, Cain had become a tad bit more violent. Well, not just a tad bit. He was attacking and destroying anything that bothered him, and being in a ring like this only served to escalate his mood. It was really the best way to vent his stress and to get his mind off... Zen...
Cain cursed, his fists clenching as he reminded himself of his failure to protect his own family. He smashed his fist onto the cage, his teeth gritting against each other.
Come on. Come on. Come on up...

[OoC: Didn't realize you posted x.x. Sorry for the lateness.] to. He couldn't freakin' resist. So, in comes the massive seventeen year old clad in nothing but black and red shorts and cloth bandages wrapped around arms from his knuckles to mid forearm. He didn't like shoes. The moment he stepped into that ring, it was as if everyone wanted only one thing; to see one of these two guys on the floor, covered in blood. Now, normally, he wouldn't mind. Sadly, these weren't normal situations. But, he still didn't mind. So, redundant? Yeah, but I had to say it. He walked in slowly, stretching his arms as he did. His right would come across his chest and his left forearm would lightly pull at the elbow, and the process would repeat for both arms. After that, well, it was all bone popping in rapid succession, from his spine, to his knuckles, to his neck, and even his toes. "Hey there, big guy. Care to take me on?"He wasn't about to make the first move, oh no. That would probably be a huge mistake, and the guy bein' so little in comparison would mean he'd be hard to get a hold on in a single try. Waiting was necessary to win this, and he could immediately tell the guy was no pushover.[/ul]

And the loud cheers escalated to deafening as soon as Mekiel entered the ring. Cain would relax his right fist, bringing it back to his side as his lips curled upwards once more, the self-frustration immediately being replaced by excitement and hunger for battle. His lust for the thrill of combat was taking over now, every thought of Zen disappearing from his mind. Fighting was his drug. It was his escape. Hell, it may even be considered his lifestyle. He was an adrenaline-junkie, and he knew from experience that this was one of the best ways to get adrenaline. He started to hop on his feet, watching his opponent, who was taller than him for about a feet, get ready for the bout.
Break time was over. It was time to get back to work. Passion for work, indeed. Fighting in this ring earned Cain enough money to last him a week, at least for every win. It was simply how it worked. You enter the ring by a front payment, then you earn thrice of that when you win. And the organisers themselves earn from the betting and the entrance free for the audience. It was all a good way to earn money, for everyone. If you were lucky, that is.
"Hey there, big guy. Care to take me on?"
Well, someone was cocky. Cain would slid his right foot back, bringing the outstretched foot to his toes as he leaned forward, arms slowly retreating towards his chest. Then, without warning, the fighter would push off, displaying the speed he was so proud of as he cleared the distance between them in mere milliseconds. It was a simple feat, really. And to start off this bout, he'd keep his moves simple, as he placed his left arm to his chest, stomping down on his left foot while twisting towards the said direction, his right fist coming round in a harsh hook to the man's lower ribs.

The guy was a beast. The distance was cleared in such a short time, Mekiel didn't exactly have time to react. Of course, the distance wasn't too great, but damn, the guy was fast. Unaware of the attack his opponent would be making and with little time to prepare himself, his arms would come down to defend his stomach and ribcage area. Sadly, this didn't really work too well. The guy attacked so quick and unexpected that the hit, well.. hit. Mekiel grit his teeth, knowing full well this may be a losing battle. However, he wasn't going to give up after one hit to the ribs. Mekiel's left arm would circle around his opponent's, and he would place his hand on the under side of the guy's arm as far back as he could get it to restrict maneuverability. He wasn't particularly sure if it'd work, but if he could get him in a hold, then that speed of his wouldn't be too helpful. Now, if the hold on the arm was successful, Mekiel would pull the guy back and launch a haymaker at the guy's chest to hopefully dish out some major damage early on so winning would be much simpler. Now, given the fact that these both succeed, he would launch yet another haymaker, though this time at the guy's stomach. Chest to stun him, stomach to stun him even more. Now, what if the hold didn't work? What if the guy got away? Well, in this situation, Mekiel would use his ridiculously long extremities to catch him. Given the grab, the guy'd probably try to pull his arm free. If this were to happen, Mekiel'd just take a step or two forward and use the full length of his arm to snatch the guy's. Of course, this might not work either, leading to a ridiculous chain of non-working arm grabs.[/ul]

And Cain's hit connected, the advantage of speed being made clear to him then. Knowing now what he had over his opponent, Cain made a mental note to take full advantage of it. However, before he could move away, his opponent showed that he had experience of his own, as the larger man's arm coiled around his own. Cain's eyes widened. That was not a counter Cain expected from an underground street fighter. This guy had a lot more behind him than Cain thought. Briefly, his smile turned into a grin. This was going to get very interesting. Still caught off-guard then, Cain would find no proper defense against the hammer that beat down on his chest, a grunt escaped his lips as he doubled over.
Alright, enough on his end. Cain's left hand, finally snapping into place, would grab Mekiel's right wrist, his own right hand grabbing the side of his opponent's left arm, allowing himself a firm grip on his opponent then. He would push off with his knees, his arms tensing as he used them as a pivot to bring his legs up to his chest. Then, with that wide excited grin on his face, he would snap both his legs upwards, aiming for the base of Mekiel's neck, in between his collar bones. His heels would dig into the flesh, the attack aiming to hinder his breathing, perhaps enough to weaken the grip on Cain's right arm. As soon as it would loosen, Cain would allow himself to drop on his lower back, before snapping his leg back and allowing himself to roll backwards back up onto one knee.
Merciless.
Cain would push off almost immediately, rushing towards Mekiel once more, this time aiming low as he slid forward, his right knee extended forward and aiming for the man's left ankle, his arms positioned over his body to shield himself from any possible counters, his left leg tucked under his right leg to give him the surface to slide on.

And Cain's counter was immediately stopped, with a stomp on his thigh, the Junior letting out a soft grunt upon impact. That had not been a simple counter. It had hit his leg quite a bit, and it felt slightly numb now. This was not turning out well, and definitely, this guy was proving himself to be more of a challenge compared to the others. Cain would glance back up, aiming to send another attack in the form of a roundhouse kick, but he would be stopped as he felt a knee collided with his chest, the Junior finding his breathe being knocked out from him. This guy may be slow, but he definitely had the strength. Cain, finally freed from the man's grip, would stagger backwards, his free hand coming to his chest, a cough leaving his lips as he glanced up at his opponent.
This guy was definitely good. Finally, a proper challenge. Cain allowed himself a brief grin, deciding then not to hold back any longer.
As Mekiel came in, Cain would snap his free hand forward, aiming for the inner side of Mekiel's left arm, adding a gale burst to it. With Cain's advantage with speed, the Junior would be able to succeed in this, the gale burst adding a little pushing force to throw Mekiel's arm to the side, the same arm snapping again, this time to Mekiel's chest, another gale burst aiming to damage his opponent's body.

the force of the punch. It was fierce to say the least. Now, though, he knew he wouldn't have to suffer yet another assault so.. mighty? With the arm in his hold, he'd pull toward the left and bring his left arm up and ram his thumb into the guy's arm pit and hopefully use enough force to push the guy up at the same time. He'd release the arm with his right, then, and bring it up to grip him by the chin. What would he do then? Well he'd bring the guy down, of course. Going up wasn't exactly smart. He'd bring the guy down - hopefully - back first upon his right knee.[/ul]

Clever guy. Cain let out a soft smirk as his arm was stopped in his tracks by the larger fighter, though the gale burst had still been activated, now simply being a pushing force upon his body. And a counter would come, that was for sure, the pulling force suddenly applied on his arm confirming it, as Cain was pulled off his unbalanced stride towards his left too. And that thumb would come in, Cain grunted as it made impact, his whole right arm going numb as it hit. And considering the difference in weight and strength, Cain was indeed lifted off his feet. His right arm experiencing a numbing sensation similar to needles poking at him, it would soon swing back to his side as Mekiel let go of it.
And before he knew it, the man's grip was on his chin, his left hand coming up as a reflex, grabbing Mekiel's wrist, the true feeling of his right arm still held back by adrenaline. And snapping quickly, his right foot would come up, finding the underside of Mekiel's chin. With his forced elevation by the male, Cain would have an easier time achieving this. And the fact that he was being pulled down made the kick all the more harsher. Plus, that gale burst was there too. It was definitely going to rattle the giant's head.
And Cain would land upon his knee, his whole body jolting in reaction as he let out another growl of pain, the Junior quickly rolling off, his left hand on his back and his aching right hand soon finding the mat and pushing him up onto his knees, his emerald hues looking into Mekiel. His face was strained, but a grin stayed plastered under his nose.
"You know... I never... Got your name..."
