She stepped back, watching his manly act of opening it for her. Placing the pins back in her pocket, she would grin and then turn around to stand between him and the filing cabinet, lifting up both his hands in hers as she surveyed the damage done. Sure, he was a big guy, but that had to have hurt none the less.
Shaking her head she would simply look up at him and smile.
"Silly man. There you go showing off and being the big guy that you already so clearly are. Tsk tsk. Whatever shall we do with you?"
That grin on her lips as she bent down just slightly and pressed a kiss first to the knuckles of his right hand and then his left, the warmth of her lips lingering there for a moment before she would pull back, flashing him another charming look before she turned around and rested her phone atop the filing cabinet. Reaching in she pulled out a few files, setting them beside her phone as she started to sift through them.
"Hmm..looks like this place "used" to be some sort of orphanage or something. All these kids names and information. Not to mention the letter head states Benston Orphanage."
She giggled slightly at her own little words and then would continue to read, not really leaning up against anything because yeah for all she knew something could grab her.

, and I just had to help you out." A cocky grin flashed on his face once more, and quickly turned to a look of surprise when she'd, well, kissed his hands. Both of 'em. Her lips felt.. great. Wait, wait, what was he thinking about already? The two'd just met, thoughts like that were kind of shameful so early on! Well, actually, I dunno since he didn't think 'em yet. I sort of intervened. "Y.. yeah, Orphanage. Damn creepy one, at that. Looks like 'nam in here."His hands would return to his waist and he'd walk over to a nearby desk, sifting through ruffled papers. The place was empty, so why wasn't it effectively cleaned out? Curiosity now piqued, he went searching through the records until he found a list of children in alphabetical order from L to N. Larc.. Larc.."Well, now. This trip wasn't without a second purpose. My brother. He was.. Never mind."[/ul]

At the first comment she cast her eyes up from what she was reading and gave him a teasing little grin.
"Mmm..whatever would I do without you?"
She giggled and then lowered her eyes back to the file in her hand, slowly turning the old and weathered pages as she read over the many different types of kids that had filtered in and out of this place.
It was only when he spoke of a second purpose that she looked up once more, the mention of his brother catching her curiosity and making her close the file in her hands, grabbing her phone she slowly moved across the floor, not wanting to step on anything as she neared him.
At first she just tried to see over his arm what he was reading, but with him being so large it was near impossible, so instead she would simply duck under his arm and pop up between him and the file, her back pressing into his chest as she too went over the list of names now.
"Your brother what?"
Her lovely scent filling the area between them, drowning out the musky, icky smell that filled the entire building. It was only then that she leaned back, just a bit, resting against him as she continued to skim over the names.
"So many kids......I wonder what happened to them all....."
Her tone was a bit more serious and a little softer, feeling bad for the amount of kids that had to come and go through places like this.....nobody to love them or want them......

So, somewhere in the city, little Larcxen Echigo was wandering around. The thought of it was horrid, but the kid was twisted. It was a good thing no one got to take him in.
"These kids probably got moved to another orphanage. Though, I'm really curious as to why this one became condemned."
Obviously the walls were lined with mold and decay, and every corner it was as if a large fat man was passing dastardly gas. Curiosity piqued in only a moment, what to do about that? Well, of course, there were many a thing to do about that, so the real question would probably be 'What was he going to do about that?'
"Let's look around, maybe see what's upstairs." Though, the problem was getting upstairs. The stairs were likely murky and decaying, so too much pressure would break 'em. Maybe it'd be a bad idea.. Who knows?[/ul]

She listened, feeling bad because of the fact that his brother had never found a home, but he did not elaborate on the matter and she did not push, instead she continued to scan over the names.
"I should hope they all got moved. To imagine living in this place.....I mean...You just get the sense it was always this bad...."
It made her shiver softly, a cool draft in the room and causing her to back into him just a bit more, though she quickly regained herself and turned around, still directly in front of him, her front how pressing against his chest as she nibbled her lower lip and looked up at him once more.
"Now how do you suppose we get up there huh?"
Both her hands, having nothing better to do would come to rest on his chest, those eyes not as bright given the lack of light in the room but still holding that teasing and adventurous gaze within them.
She didd not back away, not unless of course he willed it so, simply enjoying the heat of his body against her own in such a creepy and cold place......

Not much else was going to be said. His left arm would come down and find it's way behind her knees and he'd hoist her up into his arms. Kind of forward, yeah, but his reasoning seemed okay. I guess. Not really sure. "Sorry if this seems a little forward, but I'm not going to risk you fallin' an' hurtin' yourself."I should have mentioned this earlier, but he'd placed his phone through one of his enormous belt loops and left it open as his light source. Like a cop would do, actually. He'd leave the room, observing the area, looking for the cleanest path to walk so as to not ruin is already destroyed shoes, and followed it. The place was indeed a shabby dump, but he couldn't really complain much. It was like his old home. "Now, I want you to try to put all of your weight onto my body rather than my arms. Simplest that way. Kay?"Hopefully, things would go really simply. Hopefully. If she'd done as said, he'd progress slowly up the slippery stairs, careful not to step onto a board that was about to break. If one bent slightly, he'd skip over it. After about thirty seconds, he'd find his way to the top. "Sorry for liftin' ya suddenly."[/ul]

She felt his hand on her shoulder and then suddenly she was literally swept off her feet, her body being held within his arms as she raise her brow and wrapped her arms about his neck on instinct.
Giggling lightly she would just shake her head to his words as she wiggled her feet back and forth slightly in the air.
"Hmm....I think I can trust you for now..."
She let him carry her upward, doing as he asked and putting all her weight where desired. When they reached the top and he spoke again she would smile, looking from him to the ground and then back again.
"Well, I don't really mind to be quite honest, though, either you really don't want me getting hurt or you just like having me in your arms....."
She laughed softly, of course pointing out the fact that he had yet to set her down, ending it with a little press of her lips to his cheek.
"Such a gentleman."
She continued to rest there, waiting to see if he was gonna drop her, or whatever he thought would be best. For now she was content, simply resting her weight into his arms. Feeling it was safe to do such now. Those eyes looking about at the creepy upstairs of the orphanage.

He wasn't going to lie, but rather, be blunt. He'd walk forward a few steps rather slowly, careful not to step on any 'bad' spots. The place looked crappier up here than it did down on the first floor. The walls weren't tagged, probably because some kids were too scared to come up here, though the floors were lined with various amounts of thick, dark liquids, some of which seemed caramelized within the ground. "So, do you want me to put you down? I will, ya know, if you'd like."[/ul]

At his words she could not help but grin and press her smaller form closer to his as her eyes set about looking over the floor, not bothering to comment on his statement, she supposed that the fact she had just situated herself against him and within his grip was enough of a clue she did not mind.
Then as eyes fell over the nasty stuff that lined the floors her nose wrinkled just slightly and let out a little sound of disgust. Then he spoke up again and she would turn back to him, those eyes looking all too innocent. Clearly a joke of sorts though she was of course a girl and did like to use that innocent look they all pulled off oh so well on occasion.
"Hmm....but then I wouldn't feel your arms around me anymore...........and I might ruin my shoes...."
She grinned, that fire lighting up in her eyes as she giggled and simple wiggled about to get comfy within his grasp. Quite content as she turned to look around the place.
"These kids...must have had such horrible lives...and I thought mine was awful."
It had been, for her, but she had nothing compared to this sort of muck and filth. It was sad to think of kids that could have lived here, even though she was hopeful it was at least in a bit of a better condition than this......
"I just had an absent father and an alcoholic mother who was never around.....Granted the bad shit happened after I left home but yeah....still......."
She caught herself rambling and fell silent. She honestly didnt need to get into her problems, her addictions...the things that made most people turn away from her when they found out.....Not now at least.

He, of course, wasn't going to mention his complete lack of family growing up. Why tell her? He didn't want anyone to have to listen to his problems, since they were just that. His problems. His mouth would be kept shut and he'd proceed on through the room, trying to take as much as he could in. "No need to compare hardships. Everyone has their share and views 'em differently. Don't worry about it."He'd pass her a smile, hopefully to comfort her just a little bit. He hated to admit that he didn't see his problems as truly bad anymore, it might make him seem like a douche, or some cold, cynical bastard. He wasn't either. Another thing he'd hate to admit was that he didn't know what the heck to do. The place was damn near empty in every which direction. "I figured there'd be more up here.."[/ul]

She would smile in response to his own and then shrug at his words. A little brush of her tongue to her lips as she thought over their options and then let her grip around his neck tighten just a bit.
"Well, you could always show me your place."
That grin still in place as her hair fell down across one of her eyes at the way she angled her head to look up at him, her feet idly moving back and forth softly, a single finger daring to trace the back of his neck for a moment.
Was it out of some attempt to gauge his reaction? Or was it perhaps something she did just because of the position she found herself in and it was an idle gesture?
Whatever it was she would continue to do so, at least until he either showed he was uncomfortable with her doing such or until he dropped her. Whatever came first.
"I am betting you have something there that would be entertaining for us...."
She let those eyes lock on his own, her free hand that was not around his neck would now rest palm flat against his chest, simply waiting for some form of reply from him.

He was quite self-conscious when it came to his home and visitors. He didn't like looking like a slob, and certainly not to a woman. That would suck, quite a lot. "That all depends on what you find entertaining."[pink]~*~Time Skip! Kind of. Not a lot, you know.~*~[/pink] He'd carry her all the way to his home, all the while taking note of how great it felt, even if it may not have meant anything. His house was two stories tall, and it looked damn nice for 'not the nicest place around.' There was a total of five bedrooms, four of which he didn't really know what to do with. One downstairs, just to the right of the entrance, and the other four upstairs. His was the one closest to the entrance since he didn't really have a need to sleep upstairs. Along with the vast amount of bedrooms, there were three bathrooms. One downstairs and two upstairs. Of course, he used the downstairs one, directly across the hall from his bedroom. Following the hall as soon as you'd enter, there'd be a stairway to the right, just past his room. Of course, it led to the very unused second floor. Past the stairway was the living room, which had one moderately sized couch lined up with the stairway. In front of said couch, there would be a coffee table which, oddly enough, held no coffee, only several remotes, papers, games, dvds and the like. In front of said coffee table, there'd be an entertainment center that held the TV, DVD player, adapter(which everything was hooked up to), various gaming consoles, many more movies and games, and lots o' random crap. To the right of the entertainment center was his Gibson SG. Not the best guitar around. Of course, next to that was his various music equipment, such as the drums and mic, etc. But I suppose I'm done describing the house for now. "Welcome to my humble abode. Make yourself at home." Saying this, he'd place her ever so gently on her feet and walk over to his couch, leaning against the armrest.[/ul]

She had to admit she did not mind being carried to his home, it was rather nice in fact and as she used the time to trace out the lines of the muscles on his chest she would idly let her mind wander.
As they entered the house she would look around, it was big enough that was for sure, and she had to admit it seemed sort of empty. Not from lack of anything, but from the fact that he seemed to live here all alone.
Biting her lip slightly she would settle onto her feet as he set her down, her eyes going over the place as she stuffed her hands into her pocket.
It took her a bit to take it all in, a little smile curling onto her lips as she watched him move to lean against the armrest of the couch.
"Nice place. Big place for a big guy?"
She laughed softly and would move to sit down on the couch, leaning back as she stretched out, placing her hands up over her head and closing her eyes for a moment. The action caused her halter top which was already rather short, to ride upward.....showing off a bit more of her flesh before she would lower her arms and relax there.
Slipping her shoes off, she bent down to move them out of the way, content to do just as he said, making herself comfy.
"So whatcha wanna do? I mean movie, or eat, or what? I am up for anything really."
She smiled that genuine smile and would shift on the couch to face him, kinda hoping he would sit beside her but not gonna push the matter just yet, he seemed a bit unsure of her. Or was that just him being a guy and playing it off as nothing? Hell if she knew, they were all so damn complicated.
Either way she captured her teeth between her little pearly white teeth, nibbling it softly as she ran her eyes over him. She was in no hurry to go anywhere, that was for sure.

He'd grin, trying to picture it, but couldn't. All he knew was that the four bedrooms up there were all adjacent. That's pretty much it. "Well, what do you want to do? I've got pretty much every movie in existence, if you wanna take a look, pick one out. As for eating, I can cook up somethin' for ya. Just tell me what you'd like."He can cook?!?! Yeah, I knew that, but you probably didn't.[/ul]

She sat there, watching as he moved to take a seat beside her and trying not to grin to broadly. Curling her feet up onto the couch she would bite her lip as she debated over what to do and then shrugged softly.
"I will take the scariest movie you got, along with some popcorn and soda....If ya got it."
She smiled, a soft, charming little smile as her eyes shimmered with the light of the room. She was honestly not that hungry, the affects of her last hit not having warn off yet. But like she was gonna tell him that? Pft!
Instead she would just play the innocent little girly who wanted to chill and watch a movie with the usual snacks, which was honestly what she wanted to do.
"I mean, if that is okay with you? I have time to kill and I would much rather spend it with you than anywhere else..."
She reached up, her small fingers slowly pushing back a bit of her hair and tucking it behind her ear as tilted her head just slightly, her other hand now resting on her thigh as her index finger made little circles over her jeans.
