"I just... Ah... Be right back..."

Jayr would shift slightly as Donnie made an escape to the other room quickly, the action setting her into a suspicious mood her eyes softening quickly as hands wrapped around a lock of her hair pulling it to her nose trying to catch a waft of something foul but only finding the tender lavender that'd always coated her demeanor. The same hand would shift over her lips as she breathed into it quickly trying to catch a waft on her breath but finding herself perplexed and confused.

She'd roll about onto her knees quickly sneaking along the ground before coming upon her purse and sneaking through the contents hastily in search of her gum and snagging a quick piece stuffing it at the back of her teeth letting the spearmint scent take over.

Jayr would pull back and away towards the couch fluffing the pillows in a fast motion around her like a bed before lying back and propping herself atop them in an alluring way before being uncomfortable and repositioning herself a good two more times and fluffing the hair atop her head so that it'd flair out.

"Welcome back." Jayr would say as Donnie made his way in with a look of lackluster bemusement. She'd shy away from the motion rustling back within the pillows cautiously as though that look could scar her.

Her cerulean hues would trace up his jawline as he watched the movie paying her no mind so it would seem, and granted the precarious escape attempt before Jayr was left wondering.

'Is he into me?'

The timid fright of being alone matched with an almost certain fear of him turning from that happily playful Donnie to moody Donnie was compelling her lips to purse and eyes to trail along his jawline to those lips feeling her heart thrum by in her ears. With her right hand she'd let it trail along the opposite side of his cheek holding him in place as Jayr nodded up to kiss his jawline tenderly before retreating away and nuzzling her head into his chest to watch the movie. She didn't know what to think or what to explain of the situation, it simply was.

Donovan tried his best not to pay any attention to Jayr as the movie continued to play. He would have been all over her if she hadn't told him to be quiet... he felt embarrassed due to annoying her before he could make a pass... and now all he could think of on how to do such a thing was not to make a single move. She was way too hot and just laying there with her pefect body in the dark... right beside him... he was worried if he moved he would catch a glimpse of her and do something else to put his dignity at risk.

Then he heard a little shuffle from her shifting... which was tempting him to look... so he tensed up and his jaw clenched... until he felt her hand on his cheek. That of course made him a little bit more nervous as he got all the more stiff...

An easy breath was pulled into his lungs only to be held in when he paused at the feeling of her lips against his jaw. She had set her head unto his chest.... which was bad 'cause she would probably be able to hear his heart picking up speed as his hand came up to comb at her hair gently... which made him do his next move.... He would shift so Jayr would be placed on the little bed of pillows she had made and Donnie would be lying on his side.. his arm crossed over to the other side of her and in her hair. He was leaned in close... his eyes tracing along her lips before they looked into her eyes.

As his fingers laced in her hair in a soothing carress he would lean in.. his lips just barely touching hers...and he would be able to feel the heat of her breath mingle in with hers... he was nervous... he would usually get nervous when trying to hook up with a girl... but with Jayr it had been amplified by a 1000. Smiling sheepishly he would press is lips to hers...praying in his mind that she wouldn't slap him.

The lightest touch.

Jayr would feel the shift and catch it with mixed feelings, first heightened breath her chest rising out of heat while she struggled to remain completely calm and at ease during the whole of it all; and secondly she'd feel disappointment, in both herself and him. For not being stronger, for resisting the moment. It was just a crush that was all, she couldn't endure getting her head wrapped up in all this with her other activities as well it was just too much.

Then his lips were at her door step, the bare touch just barely there not even wavering long enough to feel the muscles at the other side, just a faint reminder of what distance was. Heat however was another thing, Jayr was simply set on fire.

A second would pass as Jayr reclined back a tad, her hand buried in Donnie's chest forcing him to back off even if it was half hearted it was something all the same. Just enough to tell him no.

"Thank you.." Jayr would say nervously with the flighty motion in her stomach as she arched backwards and away from him the end of the movie bringing a new light to the room. Jayr would stand up uneasily as the nervous tension no doubt filled the room. Therein she was still fairly confident showing her resolve through a dominant display. "Uhm...this was fun."

Donovan paused as Jayr was so close... though the lights got darker due to the credits rolling. She then arched her back and managed to wiggle away from him before she would get up. He couldn't believe how much time would go by with a girl... or with anyone really... Donnie's definition of fun was sex... he never had friends to witness anything entertaining... and not like he was close to his sister so he really had no one but Jayr to hang out with.

"Yeah... it was fun..." he would then get a little panicked knowing that she would leave soon... And he didn't really want that.. especilly that kiss whether it was a small one or not it meant something... Jayr didn't strike him as one to fool around so there had to be something between them. He would the lift a finger to signify "just one moment" as he hopped on the couch. He pressed a hand to the back rest as he jumped over the back rest and would run towards a dresser.

He grabbed a black velvet box and would run back to Jayr holding it up. "This belonged to my sister and she wanted me to give it to someone um... special." he would open the box to a small display of a black heart necklace. He would then scratch the back of his head as his brows perked. "And... well... you're special... and I uh.. man... I dn't do this often... but um...ahh... would you like to go with me?"

So now he had to wait for an answer 'til his heart could start pumping again.

Popping the question.

"Yeah... it was fun..."

Jayr flinched back her hand retreating back into her hair, eyes turned up to follow the boy's rampant escape back across the couch for whatever reason she felt something of shock and offense. Was it something she'd done? That was of course before he came back and this time with a velvet box which only meant one thing. Shinny.

"This belonged to my sister and she wanted me to give it to someone um... special. And... well... you're special... and I uh.. man... I dn't do this often... but um...ahh... would you like to go with me?"

Jayr smiled with a wide and shy grin, her chin tucking into her chest, eyes fluttering towards his face rather than taking into consideration the jewels hanging before her though they were all the same very distracting she wanted this to be her decision and not based off of bribes. Though she'd been given gifts before no one asked, they merely suspected that with the gift came chains. This was a true gift and certainly not a contract.

"Umm, Okay." Jayr would say brightly although still carrying that shy edge.

That odd connection when they were both uncertain made it cute in a weird way.

His face had gone straight after he had asked. He was just really nervous because the last time he asked girl out was... umm... just non existant. Though when he saw the smile he couldn't help but feel a rush of hope overwhelm him inside his chest.

"Umm, Okay."

His eyes went wide, his brows perked, his jaw dropped into a large smile. It didn't seem like a for sure answer... but he was sure it was all right. He bent his knees to level himself with her and held either side of her arms with the box still in his hands.

"Really?! Wow... Just... haha! Great!" it all seemed very awkward... and it was... he felt it... but he was hoping that would pass.... he wasn't sure how to react after something like this.. so he would pull her into a hugad kiss the top of her head quickly then slink behind her. "Here." gently he would brush her hair to the sid expecting her to hold it up for him so he coul put the necklace aound her small neck. Once done he would trace his fingers along the chain... slightly stroking at the flesh of her neck.

He would then step n front of her and stand so close that he had to press his chin to his neck to be able to look into her eyes properly. His hand wason her neck... thumb placed infront of her ear and the others were tucked in her hair beid her ear. His ther hand slipped to her hip to hold her closelyas he smiled down at her. "Bautiful." he would then wink at her before that sudden realization hit him.... she hd parents that actually care about him therefore would want he home at a curfew perhaps.. He didn't want hr to go..but it was better than getting in the bad books with her parents before even meeting them.

Realizing what's different

Jayr would shy away from his gaze, from his grip, her chin tucking away into her shoulder as eyes looked down and out of the way not wanting to lock with his very intense hues. Her chest rose but quickly settled finding herself at ease once again and though while she'd never felt more awkward somehow she understood the meaning of control.

At his unease of speech Jayr smiled with a sympathetic grin intensely looking up with her heavy laded eyes searching past his once more and settling in deeply.

"So, does this mean you're going to take me out?"

Jayr would giggle lightly before pulling away, her body easing up into a stand relaxing with a gesture sliding a hand to help pull her hair past her shoulders slowly pacing her way about towards her purse. She'd give him a slight sway before snatching it up and swaying off curiously awaiting for him to see her out unsure as to whether he had anything else in mind.

"So, does this mean you're going to take me out?"

Donnie smiled watching her pull away.. now relaxing... it still felt slightly awkward but she didn't say no so the awkwardness is a lot better than what could have happened.

"Yeah definitely! How 'bout Next week...Err... Friday! Next Friday."

They would agree upon the date and Donnie would then lead her out the door to her car. She needed to send her home 'cause if he got her home on time than he would make some good first impressions on her dad......

Donnie would go back in the house and somewhat fist pump at the fact he just scored himself a hot girlfriend.
