Its simple Really.
The low drone of the engine as the ignition was set to off and Jayr would look up for a second taking into account what Jasper responded with though she couldn't read much on him, she never could which was a lot of the reason why she was put off by him. No personality was certainly a bad start when meeting people and when you had no flaws and no standpoint to voice or fall back upon it clearly spelled what your future was. A whole lot of nothing, neutrality was boring. Anger, Love, Passion, Fear, and even Death were all parts to life that made it worth living.
"... What's wrong Jayr? I haven't seen you like this before. If it was something I did wrong... I'll make up for it... I don't know how... but I will... by my own hands..."
Jayr would sigh and quickly exit the car before Jasper could make a move to follow or exit as he soon did. Her body language was entirely screwy at the moment, hands at her sides than slowly tracing up to her hairline showing a significant sense of angst before letting them fall once again to her sides, a deep breath of relief at hand as she shrugged.
"Its just I'm not the type of girl you have in your head."
She'd make an innocent smile and turn her head away, following with it her body would trail off into the streets following the march of people to the fair, lights guiding her way. Lights were always a sign of hope were they not?

The sound of the car door opening and shutting caused Jasper to shift his head down and to look behind him as he saw her slowly lift her hands up before letting them fall back down to her sides. Pushing off against his car, he slowly turned his body, standing sideways as he looked at her, his hands clenched up lightly into fists as he saw her shrug and smile innocently at him before turning and heading towards the festival located nearby as he unconsciously raised his hand to reach out too her though it fell short, as he realized what he had been doing and quickly clenched his fist before letting it drop back down to his sides. "..." Looking down, Jasper lifted up his left hand, staring down at his open hand before quickly clenching it into a fist. His blazer left on the driver's seat and his car locked, Jasper chased after Jayr, quickly catching up to her as he gently grabbed her wrist to try and stop her, letting go immediately if she did, as he stood in front of her.
"... And what if I don't care what type of girl you are?" He said simply, looking straight into her eyes, his hands in his jeans pockets. "Who you REALLY are, how you REALLY act, that's what makes you, you. It's your character. You may be straightforward and act bitchy, but that's the way you are. If people can't accept that, then it's their loss." Looking down, Jasper stared carefully into empty space, his head turned away slightly from Jayr, his eyes hidden by the shadows. "You were the first person I met and became acquaintances with, even though we got off to a rocky start. That might not matter to you, but it matters a lot to me." The sound of what at first he thought to be fireworks, but was actually thunder, crackled through the air, as rain suddenly began to pour down. "... You are who are, and that's that."

Brewing Storm. Trotting slowly through the crowds it was just like Jayr to walk out on people, whoever got close to her, too close to her she walked out on. Though Jasper was far from understanding on her she wouldn't give him the chance not because she was afraid but rather because it was something he was expecting and not working towards. The dinner, the festival, the frame of knowing her without 'knowing' her seemed insulting. The quick jerk at her hand pulling Jayr back towards him her body turning about to notice him stick to the shadows, just like any creeper hoping for a chance. He'd have had to hurt him if he hadn't let go of her, a low and almost verbal hiss escaping her lips.
"... And what if I don't care what type of girl you are?"
He didn't understand, it wasn't that it was a childish game of types, of popular vs nerd it was a matter of understanding, his actions pinned her as every other girl, every other person but she viewed her self a realistically new her own person.
"Who you REALLY are, how you REALLY act, that's what makes you, you. It's your character. You may be straightforward and act bitchy, but that's the way you are.
She'd cut him off right their with a rough scowl, her hand snapping up letting her fingers come together as a physical motion to cut him off from talking, she'd had enough of that. So much speech was overused.
"Thank you Jasper for making this easier on me. Because I don't associate with your frame of thinking I'm a bitch, Thank you so much for the flattering comment."
Jayr wouldn't waste her time slapping him this time, she didn't think it'd work on him this time around seeing as so little got through. And almost as if destined by the heavens the thunder clapped above and rain hammered down furiously.

Having been cut off mid-sentence by Jayr's rough scowl and the motion of her hand, like she was slicing the air, instead of trying to finish, Jasper just clammed up, as he folded his arms across his chest so tightly it would take the jaws of life to unfold his arms, and moved his head out of the shadow, looking straight at her with his fierce and intense hawk eyes, his rational and level-headed nature keeping him from snapping and letting his temper rampage, though a hint of his annoyance could be seen in his eyes if looked at closely enough. "Well I'm so sorry I haven't been in San Diego or around you long enough to see any other side of you." He retorted sarcastically, as water dripped off his front hair, the rain continuing to pour down heavily. "I don't know what to think of you right now, because I haven't been given a lot to work with!"
Scowling inwardly, even an idiot could tell the two of them were at each other's throats. "My frame of thought? It's not what I think, it's what I heard other people think of YOU!" His annoyance began to abate, as he sighed. "I'll admit that I know next to nothing about you Jayr, and it was a bad decision on my part to not to try and get to know you, and idiotic of me to assume anything about you. But let me ask you in turn, do you know anything about me? Do you know anything about who I really am?" His arms still folded across his chest, it appeared like Jasper was glaring at her, when really, he was just looking at her. You... the people I've met... know nothing of me... His entire life, his sarcastic and cynical nature had kept people from trying to become friends with him, there were only a select few that were really friends with him. You know absolutely nothing of me...

Its what you don't get.
"Well I'm so sorry I haven't been in San Diego or around you long enough to see any other side of you. I don't know what to think of you right now, because I haven't been given a lot to work with!"
She'd jerk her head back slightly looking towards the campaigning people either striving on towards the festivals or caught between suggesting to turn back and enjoy themselves in the warmth of their own homes. Warmth, that was a nice enough suggestion now but Jayr wasn't going to get any tonight. She was headstrong and knew well enough that she didn't loose a battle unless it was of her own decisive choice and this was something that she neither deserved nor would stand to put up with. She knew the boy was just goading her on, biding for ample time, out of all things that was a characteristic he was known for, that and walking away. Two very weak providences.
"My frame of thought? It's not what I think, it's what I heard other people think of YOU!"
"You certainly are the child Jasper," Jayr would say simply, her emotions dying out not ready to put up with such an argument. The peak of her understanding was, he had to get equal to get people to know him, people had to give up themselves. To him an adventure was so short sighted. In the end dull. Excitement in Jayr's world was the fall.
"I'll admit that I know next to nothing about you Jayr, and it was a bad decision on my part to not to try and get to know you, and idiotic of me to assume anything about you. But let me ask you in turn, do you know anything about me? Do you know anything about who I really am?
"Yeah I dont know you, but I still wouldn't go as far as calling you names....So seriously Jasper, get over yourself."
With her heels kicked up Jayr would walk off beneath a inclined roof snaking her way along the exteriors of the buildings working not to get wet, The problem was of course her hair was damp to the extreme, not to mention she was wearing a white shit that the black bra beneath was starting to shine through. This was certainly a flattering date. Chalk that one up to worst scenarios.

Having grown weary of arguing the moment he allowed his sarcastic nature to take over, Jasper barely even heard her remark, he was no longer interested in waging war against her. His arms folded across his chest, he continued to glare fiercely and intensely at her, though not in anger, that was simply his normal expression. Having hawk eyes was up there with having sanpaku eyes, it made him look like an intimidating delinquent and caused many misunderstandings in the past. Barely even reacting to her final remark, lightning flashed across the sky, lighting up his face, revealing his hawk eyes staring at her, but not to intimidate her, no, that wasn't his goal. Only bullies used intimidation as a tactic to gain respect, if he wanted respect, he would earn it. "I highly doubt that... Everyone lies..." He muttered beneath his breath at Jayr's retreating back, as she headed towards the roofs of the buildings nearby.
He wasn't going to chase after her like a lovesick puppy, nor would he throw a punch while her back was turned to try and scare her. It's actually pretty hard to take cheap shots when your opponent is probably just as much a fighter as yourself. Walking back to his car, his hands in his jeans pockets, water dripped off his front hair as Jasper reached his car and unlocked it, as he tossed his jacket over to the passenger's seat and sat in the driver's seat, slamming the door behind him, as he leaned back in the seat. Pulling his cellphone out, he tired using it, to no avail. It was completely dead, and if his own phone was dead, more than likely, Jayr's would be too, if she had it with her that is. Slipping his phone back into his pocket, he leaned back and watched the water run down the windshield as the rain continued to pour down, the occasional flash of lightning lighting up the night sky.

End of the Night.
The rain struck downward and Jayr was left without a ride, Definitely something Alexi was going to be peeved about later, well this only meant she needed to gather together a plan of attack. Turn around and attack Jasper? Possible consequences being that Jasper would be her hostage for the night and she'd have his sexy car, along with the fact that Jasper would still be in a good light with Alexi, which meant Jayr didn't have to explain anything which was the highroad to all this minus beating the crap out of Jasper. In the end it was a good choice.
The alternative; walking away getting drenched in this white teeshirt and having to walk home flashing everyone on the way there, possibly getting attacked by perverts, hobos, and bums. Not to mention the fact that Alexi would probably kill Jasper and maybe give Jayr the third degree let alone a week of grounding (ouch).
Jayr sighed with a neurotic expression feeling the sickness lurch in her stomach as she turned around hefting herself along the way. There was always option C, apologize and be a good person, get a ride back and just end the night on a good note?
"Hey Jasper....I'm sorry."
Jayr would say from the exterior of the car a bit drenched as the rain came down on her soaking her entirety, her hair stuck to her forehead and the look as though tears entangled them as well.

"Hey Jasper....I'm sorry." Jasper's head turned to his right as he heard a faint sound calling out. It was faint but he heard it, as he saw distorted dark figure standing beside his car, it was... "Jayr..." Leaning over, he grabbed his jacket from the passenger's seat and tossed it onto the dashboard, as he stretched his left arm out and opened the door for her, letting her come in and out of the rain. "... You have nothing to apologize for, I'm the one that acted like an ass." He said simply, as he grabbed his jacket from the dashboard and held it out for her to take and wrap around her shoulders, not just to keep her warm, but also because her entire shirt was soaked right through. Leaning back in his seat once more, Jasper slicked his wet front hair back and stared down carefully into empty space, as the rain continued to pour down even harder, before looking glancing over at Jayr from the corner of his eye.
"I'm the one that should apologize. I didn't mean to, you know, call you bitchy. I'm sorry about that Jayr." He said remorsefully, and it was true, he felt terrible for saying that right to her face, he of people should know that if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. His eyes shifting back, he turned his head to the left and watched the water run down the car window, his arms folded lightly across his chest. The atmosphere between them was so tense, you could cut it with a knife. But despite that, it still didn't change how he thought of her, he still thought her straightforward attitude was refreshing, and while he did care about her deep down, he still didn't like like her, and this probably wouldn't change, if at all.

Option C.
Jayr's eyes would have leveled to the floor, looking now only out of the prospect of shame. Shame not in the fact that she was wet and probably showing off a little too much but there came a time when surprise was the best enactment. But now she found she was ashamed of herself, apologies weren't her best remarks, more often than not they were fake. Falsehoods that leaded only in an end result.
Watching as he'd not even bother to step out into the rain only gave her chills, settling her palms to retract into palmed fists feeling the livid passion for the fight course through her. Heart rapidly beating at an escalating rate she'd feel it thrum beneath her chest.
As the car door opened she'd timidly reproach the vehicle stepping inside to let out a short chatter of her teeth from the cold, the resent reemergence of heat from an otherwise cold environment. Taking the jacket in hand she'd slide it over her shoulders but not put it on, she knew the weight of it would slow her down, what needed to be done was going to be fast, not embarrassing as no one would be here to see it in all end results it would be a respectable end to the night and she would have in other words 'protected' Jasper. The act symbolic of caring at its deepest route.
"... You have nothing to apologize for, I'm the one that acted like an ass."
Jayr would try for a weak smile, her breath hastened, picking up and fiery with passion. She was however a grand actress so holding onto her breath she'd sigh leaning inwards towards Jasper slowly settling her lips on his neck to kiss lightly, "Thank you...and I'm sorry." She'd whisper.
Hands that were rustled on his chest would snake up like daggers taking to the back of his shoulders and jolting him back headfirst into the steering wheel where if uninterrupted he'd contact his nasal cavity on the wheel gushing the blood straight to his frontal cortex and knocking him unconscious, if only for an hour.
If of course all had gone to plan Jayr would sigh and step out peeling his body away from the driver's seat and settling him into the passenger's fixing the seat belt around him safely with a nice little click before getting in herself on the other side.
A satisfied giggle as she'd drive off back to her house taking a long way there before stopping the car just around the block and parking in one of the safer neighborhoods. A sigh would emerge and Jayr would write a nice little apology note alongside with a respectable trademark of her glossed lips on his cheek for his troubled before scurrying off into her house where she got to deal with daddy.

Leaning back in his seat, Jasper heard Jayr's teeth chatter as she came into the warm car and out of the cold rain outside. Folding his arms lightly across his chest after she took his jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders, he cocked an eyebrow as he saw her lean inwards towards him after sighing, feeling her lightly kiss his neck. "...? Sorry for wh--" *SMASH!* His forehead connecting with the steering wheel with a sickening crunch as he was jolted forward, he bounced off the steering wheel and landed back in his seat. "... D...damn it... Jayr..." He muttered before slumping over Jayr, his forehead resting on her shoulder. Thoroughly unconscious now, he was peeled out of the driver's seat and out into the rain, and placed back into his car, this time in the passenger's seat. An hour later, after Jayr had left and gone home, he came to, as he jolted forward out of his seat.
"Oh my aching... Ow..." He groaned, as he gingerly touched his forehead before pulling away his hand, which now had some blood on his fingertips. Leaning back in his seat, his memory was fuzzy, the last thing he remembered was... Jayr... Spotting the note left on the driver's seat, he picked it up with his blood-free hand and opened it, as he began to read it, his eyes moving back and forth as he read her apology. Letting out a small sigh, he leaned back in the seat, as his hand holding the note rested on his lap, staring up into empty space. Whatever possible reason she had or not for her action, he held no hard feelings towards her. Stepping out of his car, he was immediately drenched, the blood from the wound on his forehead running down his face from the pouring rain as he walked to the driver's side. Climbing back into his car, he turned the ignition on and drove off, heading back to his motel room, driving past Jayr's house in the process, his car moving further and further away before disappearing completely into the darkness.
