Charlie was sitting outside the school on one of the many benches that rested beneath the trees around the courtyard. So far school had been pretty boring for her, and though she had found out her sister was indeed here, she had yet to see her. Which was a bit disheartening but she would not show it. Instead she looked like she always did. The pretty model girl who was trying to figure out her highschool career. Dressed today in a pair of black form fitting pants and a matching halter top with her silver earring glistening in the sunlight, she was getting more than a few spiteful looks from the girls around her.
Like she cared. Heh...She had more stuff to deal with right now besides some girls who wished they could be her. Especially considering they were not going to be able to do such no matter how much they tried.
Then came the cheerleaders, a little tilt of her head given as she watched them flock together as though they shared one brain. It was sad really, because she hoped that this place would have a decent squad so she could join. She had been a cheerleader before at her old school before she had gone off to try and make something of herself. It was something she missed about being in highschool.
Yet these girls seemed the typical bitches that only kept to themselves and thought they were so much better than everyone.
It was sickening.
Grabbing her stuff she would slide her leather bag onto her shoulder and her sunglasses over her eyes before pushing herself up and dusting off her bottom. With a last distasteful look toward the group she moved to head back inside, only to stop when she spotted another cheerleader, off to the side and away from the group.
That right there gave her pause and made her brow raise slightly. This just seemed so out of place. Not by how she looked, but by the way she carried herself and the way she did not get sucked into the mindless bubble that surrounded the rest of the group.
Curious, only because she really wanted to find out about the team, she would slowly make her way over, tucking her hands into her back pockets as she neared her.
"Not gonna join your friends over there?"
Her words were nice..............enough...but they were more prying than anything else. For all she knew this girl could just be taking her time joining in.....In which case Charlie would turn and walk away...cause she had better things to do than associate with a bunch of low I.Q bitches permanently on the rag.......

Stand out... It had been quite a long day and the dragging feeling was noticeable if only just to Jayr, however nobody exactly knew Jayr to ever show any sense of weakness she was always the entirely powerful and empowered woman. She'd smile and give her chatty cheerleaders a wide grin and helpful giggles to be assured that their jokes were humorous, that their boys they'd pick out were hotties and that their teachers who were failing them weren't morally blinded but just bitches out to get them. And while all this irritated Jayr to no ends she knew well enough how to delegate behavior.
"Not gonna join your friends over there?"
Jayr's head would swing up quickly, her eyes shielding her eyes from sight for a second before her hand would move up swiping a hand over her brow pressing the hair behind her ear. A wide smile would emerge and then quickly followed by a speculative stare.
"No I'm kinda headed off to find a friend. Do I know you?" Jayr would smile regardless trying to make it a point to be friendly, despite being tired she was trying to still be a tad bit better than preusual.

Charlie really didnt care how the girl acted, even though she had honestly been expecting some form of bitchy attitude or something of that nature. It seemed like most girls put on the short skirt and the pom poms and their bitchy levels went up by the thousands...
Shaking her head she stuck out her hand in a gesture to shake, trying to be nice to the other girl, or at least as nice as was humanly possible for Charlie to pull off.
"No, you dont know me. I was just wondering if all the girls in the cheer squad were cackling bitches, saw you off by yourself and figured I may be lucky and find out that they weren't."
She shrugged, drawing her hand back whether the girl had chose to shake it or not. Leaning back against a nearby wall she would cross her arms over her chest lightly, casting a glance to the giggling air head bubble of doom.
"Cause I mean, I wanna join if I can, but not if THAT is all there is to look forward to."
It was only then that it occurred to her that she had been rambling on without so much as offering up a hint of her name. Her eyes turned back to the girl she was speaking with, a smile partially spreading over her polished lips.
"Name's Charlie by the way."
She gave up just her first name, finding no real need to divulge any more than that, at least not right now. Besides, it was not like the girl would be dying to know her last name or anything. This was just a basic getting to know you and praying one or both did not snap and tear the others head off conversation. Or at least that is what it boiled down to in Charlie's mind.

First Contact.
"No, you dont know me. I was just wondering if all the girls in the cheer squad were cackling bitches, saw you off by yourself and figured I may be lucky and find out that they weren't."
Jayr would shift to the side, her weight altering onto her hip for support as she tried balancing her own emotions, an unconscionable battle between biting the girl's head off and being complacent. It was hard when someone came off so forward like that not that Jayr didn't always do the same it just seemed as though the girl across from her was looking to pick a fight regardless of the out come.
"Cause I mean, I wanna join if I can, but not if THAT is all there is to look forward to."
A curious brow and the smile dissipating turning to curious pursed lips, Jayr's eyes would drop slowly not out of shyness but rather speculative nature looking for a solid place to bury her thoughts. She did need more team players on her team, and besides they'd not gotten started with too many successful practices recently they needed to come together to work something out.
"Name's Charlie by the way."
"Oh!" Jayr would break from her silly daydream of thought, and while she was still contemplative if she needed one more bitch on her team she figured that in attempting to be different Charlie would inherently fit right in.
"I'm Jayr, Squad Captain." Jayr would smile welcomingly though she'd hesitate a bit squinting her eyes slightly as dimples concealed any latent thoughts still present on her features.
"As for trying out, I suppose we'll be holding practice here this afternoon if you're at all interested."

She knew that look, that bit of suspiciousness and uncertainty, but she also knew that somewhere in there was the reasonable side trying to shine through. Not that she cared. This girl could like her, or she could kiss her ass, it really didnt matter to Charlie.
Then came the introduction and the somewhat chipper "oh" that seemed a mixture of fake and real. Again something she knew all too well. But it didnt matter to her, she was more interested in the fact that this girl was the Squad Captain.
That right there was just a rare stroke of luck and as she went on about practice being this afternoon she would grin and give a little nod of her head.
"Sounds like a good plan to me. Anything specific I should know before I head over there. Like survival guide for the land of raving airheads?"
She laughed a little at her own joke as she nodded her head in the direction of the group of cheerleader, who of course were being nosy and trying to sneak glances in their direction without them noticing. Gods they were so predictable it was pathetic.

Subtle Nudging "Sounds like a good plan to me. Anything specific I should know before I head over there. Like survival guide for the land of raving airheads?"
Jayr would purse her lips showing a significant sign of her dislike in both tone and wording, while she didn't have a great love for the type she associated with considering they belittled Dylan on her first day, she was their leader and team mate. Having that responsibility she had to stick her neck out at times even if it meant harming her own status.
"Well for starters I'd say clean up your act, for one not all cheerleaders are airheads."
Jayr would come off a bit defensive but not for herself that much was obvious, she was a very low key hero type, she knew very much that she could take a beating here and there but she was unsure about others afraid that if she didn't stand to take the bullet the others wouldn't be strong enough to survive it.
"Besides if you ever want to join this team you're going to have to understand the necessity of teamwork, and the first step is accepting your teams faults and work to improve them."
Jayr's tone was strong, neither posing to be at an offensive strike but a strong pillar of valor that'd stand the test of time and competition. Thats what it took to be a leader, to make the tough stands and suffer the responsibilities of your actions whether this ruined their newly formed meeting or not Jayr would accept it.
