It was officially her first day of school, and she supposed things could have been worse. Honestly, she was doing rather well for being on her own and so far away from all the things she had learned to live with over the last three years. The only problem she had encountered really since moving here was the inability to secure a decent supplier for her little "habit". But that did not mean she would not be able to, it just meant that it would take longer than she had hoped. For now at least she had found a few low end dope slingers to settle stifle her need until she was able to make contact with those that were a bit higher up on the food chain. People she would undoubtedly need to call when the day was over and done with.
It had been so long since she had been to a public school, having been privileged to personal tutors for the entirety of her modelling career back in New York. So it was safe to say that today would be a rather interesting experience and more than likely a stressful one. One which would in the end leave her craving that sweet numbness her drug of choice seemed to offer her. That relaxation and tranquility that she found in that bitter white powder.
But that was a thought better saved for later. For now, she was more focused on the looks she was getting as she climbed out of her car, a gift from her former manager on one of his "I am so sorry I hit you" phases. It was very clear that she was going to stand out in this place, at least for the most part and unless she worked to tone down her appearance and her style a bit more.
Hell even her outfit screamed of a girl who had lived, at least recently, a rather flashy and expensive lifestyle and who enjoyed to show off her body in at least one fashion or another. Even if that was not how she was intentionally meaning to come across as.
Sighing softly, she reached into her bag and grabbed out a pair of sunglasses, sliding them into place before settling her eyes upon the monster of a school she would now be attending. The place itself looked very intimidating, but at the same time, she had learned to stare intimidating in the face and meet whatever challenge there was head on.
This would be no different than the photo shoot in Paris she had been forced to undergo almost a year ago. Everyone there had been so snobby and uptight, putting her down for everything from the way she walked to the whole 2 lbs she had gained over the previous year's winter.
Moving to cross the parking lot, a soft, sultry sway of her hips accompanying each and ever step she took only proved to gain more attention from a group of boys that had already been watching her from the moment she pulled into the parking lot of the school. Most would think she did this as a tease to those around her, the way she moved and such, but in all honesty it was simply because she had done it for so long during her career that it was now a natural occurrence.
At first she tried to blow them off, just keep walking and ignore the cat calls and the rather vulgar comments she heard them speaking about her amongst themselves. But as she passed by, one of them gathered up enough courage to actually turn those words onto her, and that was something she could not let slide. She was not going to spend her entire highschool career dealing with guys thinking she would just stand by and be their eye candy. So, in the most graceful way imaginable, she turned around, her steps continuing to carry her toward the school, only now in a backward motion, as she proceeded to flip them off.
Of course, they got a bit defensive, each one swelling up in turn at the thought of some girl daring to do such a thing to them, not like she cared. In fact, she would just roll her eyes and begin to turn around, not about to spend another second wasted on those guys.
Yet, as was usually the case with not watching where you were going, there was an obstacle in her way that abruptly cut off her path and actually had her taking a few steps back as she rebounded off the seemingly solid mass.
It took but a moment for her eyes to adjust to find herself practically staring at the chest of a guy much larger than herself. Her brow raised slightly as she took in the sheer mass of the boy standing there.
"Oh, shit...Sorry. Didn't mean to run into you or anything, I just sorta, wasn't paying attention."
A slight upturn of one of the corners of her lips given as she took another step back to allow herself a proper view of his face. Fully prepared to get her head bitten off for running into the guy, even though it was clearly more an inconvenience for her than it was for him. Especially considering her running into him was like throwing a bouncy ball at a brick wall, it just bounced right off as if it had never been there at all.
