That smirk came to his face...his oh so famous smirk. He wouldn't have minded getting paired with any other girl, but seeing as how he got Astrid... it made him.... happy. The girl had something different from the rest.

Her black hair....
Her shyness....yet that spark of bluntness.

Now he turned from the paper to look for her. It was easy because he was able to tower over many of the boys and girls in this hall... and finally his eyes fell on the pretty little from. He would walk over to to her, making it clear he didn't care he was shoving people to the side. As she approached her he would tap on her shoulder and when she would turn around.. she would bow with his are strew across his chest and the other tucked behind his back.

"It would appear we were partnered." his attractive accent rang above all the other noise in the hallway. "Luck must be on my side." he would look down at her with a smug cock of his head with his brow perked... it looked like he read something in her mind he shouldn't have... but really it was 'cause he had a plan. "You will soon find out you are lucky...I already have the perfect date planned out for us..." for any other girl he would have done the default date thing..... but lucky he knew Astrid a bit better than a stranger... so... Yeah he was gonna make it special... whether it was for fund-raising or not.

Astrid had not intended for any of this to happen, but she had signed up for the event because she wanted to help out with the fundraising seeing as she was in one of the clubs.

Yet as the names were given out, she felt her stomach turn and a little whimper muffle in her throat. Not because of who she got, but because of the fact that Lucas was going to make her pay for this later.

Biting her lip she would force a smile as she looked up at Donnie, not too nervous about going on a date with him, given the fact that she had been on one already with the guy....She supposed it could have been much much worse.

"Just dont seem to be able to get away from you."

She laughed softly, her hand sliding behind her back to hide the bruises on her arm as she continued to act as though there was nothing wrong.

"Though I am sure it will be an interesting date. I look forward to it."

She smiled softly and would turn her eyes away from him. Trying to hide that there was anything wrong, but the tone of her voice was somewhat different, not as bold and blunt as before. Not that she noticed it.......She was just gonna have to focus on this date and hope like hell she got through it well enough to survive what Lucas would do to her later.

"Though I am sure it will be an interesting date. I look forward to it."

Donavan cocked a brow as she looked away. He had no idea there was something wrong... He just simply assumed she was shy with him again. He would pucker his lips and furrow his brows when he reached over to lift her face with his thumb tucked under her chin. "It will be interesting... but.... If you want it to be awesome... then you are gonna have to promise me a smile there, sweetheart." he would click his tongue twice and gave her a wink. "Now.... How 'bout this. I pick you up lets say..... Seven? Don't eat anything..." his hand would recede from her face and he would tilt his head up, only to have his eyes remain on her face...giving him somewhat of a smug expression..though it was nothing but. "And where something comfortable... don't worry 'bout dressin' up."

He started walking backwards towards the class he had next. "Text me your address later, sweet cheeks!" he call down at the length of the hallway... of course he would wink at her to let her know that his choice in pet name was just a joke.... then to add on to the merry jest he would make a loud. "muah" sound when pressing his hand to his mouth and flinging his arm far out to the side...blowing her a large kiss.

Donavan was gonna have to have a lot of time to set up is elaborate plan to make her smile =D
