Roy yawned as he walked into this new school. It looked....different. Less run down than 259 and 552 had been, and he was grateful for that. A little less violent, too, which made him smirk. He had only had ot psuh through two fights to get to his locker, something that would have required much more punching at 552.
He adjusted his dark grey hoodie, lowing the hood, revealing tied back red hair and a multitude of lines tattooed across his face. With a smirk, he opened his locker, and smiled. Apparently, Shuyin, his adoptive brother, had already been here and filled it with his shit. Those sneaky ass Xings.
He laughed. Today was going to be akward. He hadn't been in school since before he got locked up, and what a debacle THAT was. At least he had found a new fighting style from it. And school food wasn't much different from jail food, so it wouldn't take long to get used to things.
Just then, his head got slammed in his locker.
"What the ever loving FUCK!?"
Someone had decided they were going to pick a fight with Roy.
Now bleeding from just above his eyebrow, the irishman smirked, pulling his left leg back and slamming a black boot clad foot into the guy's sternum. The kid fell over, clutching himself, and Roy laughed. It was pathetic, really. One kick? It seemed there were nobodies, here, too.
Roy let him go, then, and walked off down the hallways, trying to get his bearings in this new school. This really WAS akward.
(OOC: Forgive the bad posts...hopefully I can get back into my groove, soon, and produce high quality stuff again.)

((OOC - hope you don't mind me joining))
Kirsty's brow furrowed as she watched two guys picking a fight in the hallway, she wasn't sure at the time whether or not this was a regular occurring event in this school, if it was anything like #552 then she was in for a bumpy ride. The loser of the fight dropped to the floor, apparently the weaker of the two as it seemed to take the other one a lot more time to react to his own injury.
She braced herself, but the boy didn't rise, she figured he was down for a while. The winner of the fight had by now moved from the area of the fight and was stalking out in another direction. Kirsty walked closely behind him, biting her lip, expecting him to keel over any minute.
After a few long strides she stopped then, pulling her bag further up her shoulder, she called out to him. "Hey! Excuse me!"

Roy was bleeding, yes, but he ignored it entirely. Such a small wound was nothing compared to what he had gone through before.
"Hey, what's up? Something wrong?"
The girl sounded vaugely worried, so Roy pasted on a grin. He didn't like it when people worried about him. It just felt....akward, to him. He had always been alone, usually, having nobody TO worry about him aside from family.
And his family was some wannabe mafia group, so having them worry was weird as fuck, too.
His smile got a bit more honest when he noticed she was a cutie, but it wasn't like she would think the same of him. His tats tended to scare the ladies away, and although he had recently discovered self esteem, he wasn't quite sure how to go on about hitting on a girl.
But with her tone, she was probably a witness to what had happened. It hadn't been much of a fight, and he wasn't hurt all that bad. Sure, he was bleeding, but the kid had only managed to do that because he had snuk up on him, knocking him in the head with his own locker.
He wondered idly if this place would be as fun as 552, fight wise....

"Hey, what's up? Something wrong?"
Kirsty bit her lip nervously, the boy wasn't that much taller than her but he had a domineering presence that made her anxious. She tucked a stray ebony lock behind her ear and cleared her throat, she had to admit, the Irish accent appealed to her. She wasn't about to let that show.
"Erm... I-I could help you fix that if you like?" Due to her somewhat questionable nature, Kirsty always took it upon herself to carry bandaids, thankfully the store wasn't out of regular ones, she would have hated to buy the Spongebob ones again... She also carried antiseptic wipes with her, she was a huge fan of hand hygiene. She was forever wiping her hands.
She motioned to his head, in a pathetic attempt to show him what she meant. Her hands were shaking, as they usually did when she was trying to create polite conversation, something that was rare for her.

Roy smiled. Maybe letting her patch him up would get him on her good side, eh? He hadn't been on good terms with (What he assumed was) a single girl since he was sixteen, and it was something he would like to experience again. Dating was the furthest thing from his mind, though, at this point in time.
Blood dripped from his brow onto the floor, and he saw how that could get annoying. He could always take care of it himself, but why do that when such a cutie was offering to do it for him? She seemed shy, though, so he'd best not try to hit on her while she was doing it, lest he get slapped or something.
"Oh..that....it's no big deal, but I'm out of first aid supplies myself...so fi you'd help me out with it, I'd appreciate it greatly."
An honest smile accompanying a peircing gray gaze, as his eyes met hers. He hoped he wasn't intimidating her.

Kirsty felt her face growing hot and her hand flew up to her cheek in a desperate bid to hide it. There had only ever been two people that could make her blush like that, one had been Jack and the other was Orion, her former boyfriend from #552. She cleared her throat and allowed herself to relax, she gently tugged at his sleeve, pulling him to a nearby bench.
Thankfully it was shaded so if the other boy decided to come looking, he'd easily miss this area in his line of sight. Brushing her hair over her shoulders, she straightened out her vest and opened the front zip on her messenger bag.
"I'm Kirsty, by the way." She spoke softly as she pulled out the pack of wipes, they had a nice smell to them, peach. Jasper's favourite. Lifting the small seal up, she pulled one from the pack, instantly being greeted by the sweet scent.

She was blushing? Oh boy, Roy had to take advantage of that.....he couldn't sit idly by and let a blushing cutie get away. He had to think of something fast. What did a normal guy say when he was hitting on a girl?
"I'm Roy."
He started smiling his best smile. He was a handsome guy, evn though his ink was intimidating. He really was starting to try his best to be flirty now, even though he had never really flirted before. Serenity had been a fluke, him standing up for her in the park.
Everything for Roy these days seemed to be based on his rather insane amount of luck, for some reason. But he would try to change that, at least. After getting out of lockup, he needed to regain his former strength.
But that didn't matter much right now. What mattered was the blushing, cute girl he was making eyes at, smiling his best for.
"Those smell nice......"

Kirsty giggled as she stood up then knelt back onto the bench. She grabbed his chin lightly to hold his head in place, the smell of the peach still fresh, bringing back the amusement of his words. She lightly wiped the cut with the cloth, trying to be extra careful, much to her own surprise.
"So what happened?" She asked curiously, wondering what he could have possibly done to deserve a bang to the head. The cut wasn't deep, she realised, as she got most of the excess blood from the area surrounding it.
He was good looking, she concluded, the tattoos he had seemed to be used as a threating feature but personally she though they suited him. She didn't have any herself, having never really felt brave enough to put something so permanent on her body. She didn't believe in being tied down.

She giggled. That was a good sign, he hoped. He wasn't very good at this flirting thing.
"Dunno, the kid just walked up and slammed my locker on my head."
He laughed, and complied with her hands, not wanting to scare her off or anything. Her touch was gentle, and welcome. He hadn't been touched uotside of a fight in what seemed like years.
Needless to say, he liked it.
But he wondered, as she wiped the excess lood off of him, what a random student here was doing helping someone. Most of the random students liked to try and hurt you. He kept smiling. This was rather nice. Instead of fighting, he was being helped. He was openely relaxed for once, hoping in the back of his mind she wouldn't bust out a razor blade and fuck his shit up.
"So.....Kirsty..."
He smiled a boyish smile, now, his face looking much younger for a split second. He wanted to do something nice for her, this cutie who found time in her day to help out someone she didn't even know. It reminded him of how he had been at 552.
"You doing anything later tonight?"
He smiled his smile and waited for an answer.

Kirsty took in a sharp breath, freezing with the wipe in mid-air, she had to think fast. She'd had her fair share of trouble when it came to members of the opposite sex, most of her experience coming from her alcoholic days. As she slowly released the air from her lungs, she smiled. "Nothing I know of."
She finished cleaning his cut, happy to see him smile, she didn't know what made her more happy, the fact that she was receiving a positive reaction from someone for a change or the fact that the positive reaction came from a hot guy. Either way she knew that this would definately go down as a good day.
Putting the wipes back in her bag, she pulled out the bandaids and took one out of its wrapper, as she applied it to his head, she let her hand linger slightly just so that her interest would register in his mind. Then she dropped her hands to her sides and sat down properly.
"There! All done."

Heh...so she was interested, eh? It looked like Roy had succeeded. He balked for a second, not knowing what to do for a split second, before regaining his composure. He hadn't gotten this far since Lilly Satou, and she tried to kill him with a forklift.
Ole.
He smiled again, warmly. He really hadn't expected her to be interested.
But since she was, he'd make the most of it. He'd take her out for a nice dinner, and hopefully impress her. That was just how he rolled, he guessed. Try and impress the first cute girl who looked at you sideways.
"Awesome....just tell me where, and I'll pick you up at seven, alright?"

"Sure, sounds great." Kirsty tried not to appear too excited, inside she was glowing. Her first day and a guy had already invited her out, it couldn't get any better. She pulled out a pen and paper and jotted down the address of the apartment she was renting. It was fairly small, considering the large budget she had, but it was perfect for her. It was simple and she liked it that way.
"Um, that's where I'm staying. It's not too far from here." She said as she handed him the paper, it was her favourite notebook. The cover contained a large picture of Sid Vicious and the paper inside had his name printed on it various times.
She ruffled her hair slightly with her hand, a nervous habit of hers, something she knew she would have to break by tonight. She couldn't be nervous. She barely knew the guy and already he was running rings around her. This would be a tough night. But she hoped it would be worth it.

"Heh...great. I'll see you then, Kirsty. Sorry to bail so soon, but I have to get to class."
Roy stood, stretching. He was really suprised at how well that had gone. He chuckled to himself as he walked off, a man newly sure of himself in uncertain times.
A cute girl actually wanting to go on a date with him? Heh, let's hope him showing up on a Harley Davidson wasn't a turn off. He was short, yes, but he was a biker, still. Despite his having calmed considerably since 259.
He hoped she didn't realize how nervous he was. That would be akward. He hadn't had a real date sicne he was 16, unless you count fights with women four times stronger than he was at 259. Students were crazy strong ,there.
But that didn't matter, now. What mattered now was that he had a date at seven, and nothing to wear but rediculous biker clothes.
Uh oh.

Once she was sure he was gone, Kirsty picked up her back and let out a small squeal to herself. This was to be her first date since she dated Orion and that was a fair while ago, she had no idea how to compose herself or what courses of action she should take.
As she walked to her class, she frowned to herself, truthfully she had next to no experience when it came to dates. She could try emailing a couple of friends in Phoenix to see what they had to say. Or she could simply just wing it.
No matter what she decided to do, she knew that she would have to do it quick. Otherwise she'd never be ready in time, she had so much to do and yet so little time. Through the rest of the day, in her head one word kept repeating itself. Help!
