Water splashed gently against his face, his hands running slowly over the contours of his skin as the cold liquid poured forth from the faucet to the sink. His glasses sat on the counter next to him, shimmering with a slight glimmer of light, reflective to the world around. The bathroom was small, located in a far off corner of the school next to nobody used, or so it appeared to him. His eyes came up to the mirror, the handsome face flashing Crystal blues back through his exterior retina. He looked good, today. Jet black hair hung softly down around his eyes, barely passing them on their journey of length. His torso fit nicely into the dress shirt he wore, white in color, sleeves rolled back. The black vest over the top of it spoke volumes of his ability for intellectual interaction, but the black and white striped tie the dangled from his neck gave a little plume to his outward personality. His blue jeans, slightly faded but a deeper blue, were popular but comfortable, giving him an equal sense of style and relaxedness.
He thought he looked dashing, in fact. Not threatening, just new and ready for a day full of laughter and schoolwork.
Instead, he received nothing but contempt. The men seemed constantly bucked, ready to leap at a chance to stomp his face in. Of course, none had, but he got plenty of looks that said if he dared to speak a word they wouldn't hesitate. Perhaps, like the other school, they were kept in line by the mislead notion of personal fear from the pillars repercussion. Or perhaps they were all pillars. He was still unsure as to how that stone-age method of control worked. He thought it outlandish, brutish, uncivilized. Not that he would say anything. Keeping those words inside kept him from having to defend his thoughts. Not that he truly cared if they accepted it or not, he simply didn't want the hassle of having to deal with their need to prove their penis size.
He picked up his glasses, combing his fingers back through his hair with his left hand as his right placed the instrument upon the bridge of his nose, letting out a light breath before snapping his fingers at himself in the mirror, pointing with his index fingers, his hands in the shape of guns. Cliche. He grinned, his pearly whites glancing off the beams cast from the bulbs above. He bent, picking up his bag and slinging it over his shoulder. He took a deep breath before walking out of the bathroom, looking the first guy in the eye and giving a grin. The guy bumped his shoulder before entering the bathroom. Brian shook his head before walking off down the hall, pulling a paper from his back pocket and scanning it for his next class.
It was gonna be a long day.

Kevala was making her way down the hall, eyes looking down at the book she had to finish by next week for her English Lit class. Not that she usually read in between classes, but yeah, things had been so hectic as of late she found that she needed to make use of all available time she had.
Today her outfit consisted of a white tank top, with a red rose running across the length of her stomach...a pair of hip hugger jeans and combat boots to finish it off. Her long black hair cascading down her slender frame. Yet she paid no mind to the guys that liked to stare at her as she continued on, her attention too diverted by the book in her hands.
Yet the sounds of a few male students laughing caught her attention. She knew all too well that laugh...The sounds of guys who THOUGHT they were cool sharing a good joke at no doubt the expense of some other student.
As icy hues shifted to the area in which the sounds were coming from, she spotted an unfamiliar face walking away from a the group of jackles, seemingly unaffected by their stupidity.
It was enough to bring a smirk to her lips as she closed the book in her hands, leaving her index finger wedged between the pages to mark her place.
Casting a look up to him as he passed by her, she would speak up softly, well as soft as her confident tone could manage.
"Nice to see that the morons don't get to everyone who crosses their path."
She was hoping he would stop long enough for her to gain a name, always curious about the new students of the school when she got the chance to meet them. Yet if he did not, it would not be the end of her world.
However if he did, she would nod toward the schedule in his hand, a smile still present on her beautiful face.
"First day I take it. I am Kevala Katashi...School Captain."
Her small hand, leaving the book in order to extend it outward in his direction. Just being friendly, which as not entirely rare of her, but was not seen as much as of late.

Words caught his attention, the mild, childlike laughter rolling off his shoulders like a noisy wind. It was like he was the hunchback of Notre dame, albeit a far better looking version, and these boys were a bunch of pre-pubescent adolescence whose balls had yet to drop and they felt a violent, overwhelming need to express that through deprecating on anyone they thought weaker then themselves. Still, the girl who approached was intriguing- rather than casting an overlooking glance or a charming, nervous smile, she spoke to him in admiration. He stopped, giving a small smile before looking behind himself, and both ways. His grin curled at the corners of his lips in a flirty, yet reserved manner, eyes catching on her own pools of icy blue. He lowered his paper, using his other hand to shrug his bag a little higher up on his shoulder.
"Interesting- normally beautiful girls stray from the new kids- we're weak, right?" He looked her over. "You, however, are obviously NOT weak. Worthy of the title i suppose." 'No substantial martial arts background, but knows how to fight and hold her own. Carries herself with an air of knowledge but not with contempt or vain conceit. Adept at studies, generally good with people. Carries the weight of a past in her eyes. Loss- mother? Father? No. Son or Husband. Doesn't seem old enough for a husband. Fought for everything she has. Her skin holds the scars of battle, but her face holds the countenance of acceptance. Overall, an interesting girl.' He was confident in his deduction, but nothing was certain, and so he mentioned nothing.
He took her gently, pressing a light kiss to the back of her hand, her creamy skin causing an immediate increase in his pharamonal activity, his pupils widening slightly at the taste and intoxicating scent.
"Brian Andeste. Pleased to meet you, miss Katashi."
He reluctantly allowed the soft hand to slide from his grip, his eyes looking back at the boys who had been laughing, but now instead glared silently. He gave them a wink, and pointed with his free hand, giving a gun point and fire, making a small tsking noise with his tongue. He turned and nodded down the hall, giving a direction for them to walk as the boys seethed. He almost wanted to laugh at the frustrated looks plastered across their faces- it was comical to say the least. But the Captain kept them at bay, her presence obviously deterring them from the brink. He knew if they found him alone...he pushed the question from his mind. No use worrying about the future, because tomorrow didn't exist. Not until he made it there.
"So, Captain. Question." He looked at her. "Why would a strong, gorgeous woman such as yourself put herself in such a...precarious position?"

Well wasn't he quite the charmer? A grin still tugging at those perfectly polished lips as she felt the press of his lips to the back of her hand. She would wait until her hand had been released, slowly drawing it back to place it in its original position as her makeshift bookmark. A little laugh breaking free into the air around them as she kept those eyes cast upward toward his own.
"I suppose it is just in my nature to put myself into such situations. Never a dull moment with me."
She shrugged softly, the tip of her tongue slipping forth to brush slowly over her lower lip, a soft sigh escaping as she cast a warning glance back at the group which still lingered within earshot.
Her brow raising as she nodded her head down the hallway.
"I believe you boys have class to be attending. Or should we all go and take this matter up with Mr. Durand? See how crazy he is feeling today..."
Oh they were not happy about it, but needless to say that got their asses moving. Mr. Durand being a bit.....eccentric to say the least and not somebody most wanted to deal with unless needed. The guy was nuts, and one could never really predict what he would be like from one moment to the next. Not to mention the fact that Kev was not exactly the nicest person to grace these halls when people insisted upon not listening.
But that was besides the point. The "goons" doing as they were told, like the good little DOGS they were. Which was sufficient for her....Turning her attention back to Brian she would again smile that warm, inviting smile that seemed to light up her eyes, causing them to shimmer with the fluorescents that hung overhead.
"I am sure I do not have to warn you that they will be back. Like some cheap knockoff version of the Terminator movies."
She smiled, though honestly she felt bad. She had possibly made their self imposed need for vengeance all the more critical just by talking to the guy. But what could she say? She was a people person by nature, and nothing would change that.
"So, how are you enjoying our little school so far?"
Shifting in her position to lean up against the row of lockers to the right of the hallways, hoping he would follow so they could continue their little "getting to know you" conversation in a spot less likely to get them run over by some muscle bound jock who was running late for class.

Like the fine music of Mozart, her laughter chimed through the thick din of student activity. He kept the small smile on his lips, his own piercing blue hues twinkling lightly as she gave a rather fascinating statement of excitement. A most interesting female. She seemed to like guys, but was uncaring or desensitized by the amount of attention she brought forth from their eyes and bodies. She was a very well figured girl, her hips and curves drawn sharply like a perfectionist would draw an anime character. It was very stimulating to learn of a Captain so...open to the prospect of interest. She wouldn't be one to have a dull moment with, that was for sure. Though there was something about her...some personal weakness, a crack in her solitary facade. He stared into her eyes, never breaking his gaze to look over her very alluring form.
He would instead break it for the express purpose of taunting- he turned, grinned brightly and giving a little wave, mouthing the words "Bye bye", watching their eyes swear vengeance upon him. He didn't care- everyone had a vendetta of some sort, and having him be the object of their hatred only proved to him that this school year would be far longer and drawn out than he expected. She leaned against the locker, obviously wanting to talk more. He thought a moment, knowing that his first class started soon. Still, it wasn't as if he wasn't going to do brilliantly here, and having a conversation with the stunning Captain of the School sounded like a far, far more promising way to spend his time. And at least with her, teachers were highly unlikely to yell at him about straggling in the halls.
"Well, i have to say i wasn't impressed on my arrival. Too many bull necked men with an over-abundance of testosterone and Steroids. Not that its anything new. America seems slightly...declined in that way." He leaned over, pressing his shoulder against the locker about two or three feet away from her, on her right. He liked this girl- strangely, she showed interest in the people who could be technically labeled as "below her". He shrugged with his opposite shoulder, not wanting to look awkward by moving the one leaning against the wall. "Now though, after seeing someone who can actually hold a conversation and look good doing it, I'm liking it more by the minute." He, unlike most, was obviously not saying this to suck up to anyone. It wasn't his style. He didn't need her for anyone, as half the population would.
He looked over his shoulder.
"I also have had little time to explore the vast campus, so I'm sure I'm missing out. Though-" He turned his eyes back to her, giving her a serious but flirty look. "I'm sure nobody knows the campus better than its captain. Would you grace me with your endearing scent-" He stopped, grinning broadly, showing his pearly white gaze and strictly handsome smile."-Excuse me. Grace me with your endearing presence long enough for a little tour?" His eyes stared deeply into hers, unwavering.
For the first time since he stepped off that plane, he felt he would truly like America.

Hmm, this Brian fellow was interesting, she would give him that. He had a bit of charm about him that most of the males in this school lacked. Not to mention he was being nice, perhaps too nice to her. Not that she did not enjoy the flirtatious nature or the kind words. It was just that in her experience, men were never that nice to her upon initially meeting her.
Most of them to preoccupied with staring anywhere BUT her eyes or trying to size her up to make fun of the fact that she was captain. Because of course a girl of only 5'2" could not possibly possess enough strength to have bested the males of this school. Never.
Yet she was not one to assume he was up to something. Yet. There was plenty of time for that she was sure. Seeing as how most people, in the end, were indeed up to something. Be it good or bad. As he moved to take up a space a few feet away from her against the lockers, she shifted her body so that her shoulder was pressed into the cool metal and her body was once more facing his. Those icy hues never faltering in their gaze upon his own blue eyes.
As he spoke of his initial reaction to the school she sighed and gave a knowing nod, her hand reaching up to lace through her hair and twist a lock idly about her finger before tucking it away behind her ear.
"Yes, I know all to well of the violence that fills not only this school but the country as well. Lived my life trying to avoid it and instead have found myself right in the center of things. But I suppose that just goes to show my knack for getting myself into trouble more often than not."
She laughed softly, unable to hide her amusement at the truth. She had scars, both mental and physical to prove thus. Having grown up in the system where people were more inclined to care about the money than the actual child they were taking care of; to her time at 259 where she had been forced to grow up and to learn how to protect herself. It had been far from an easy ride through this life, but just when she found herself in situations where she might actually be happy, where she may be able to escape it all, she somehow managed to thrust herself back into it all.
Then he spoke of a tour, her mind drawn back from the thoughts of the past that threatened to overtake her mind and pull her away from the here and now.
A grin tugging at the corner of her lips as his sentence was cut short, only to continue on in a less, flirtatious manner. If only slightly. With a little tilt of her head she would brush her tongue slowly across her lower lip, her arms coming up to lightly cross over her chest. All the while those eyes staying locked upon his own.
"If I did not know any better I would think you were flirting with me."
Her grin turning into a soft, flirty little smile before she turned her head to look down the now almost empty hallway. Then, as she turned back her shoulder would raise in a half shrug of sorts before sliding her bag from her shoulder and setting it on the floor.
"I suppose I could give you the tour. I find I rather enjoy your company it seems. Much different you are from the other guys that roam these halls."
She then knelt down, unzipping her bag and sliding her book within it. No need for that anymore, seeing as how she had a rather handsome guy holding her interest for the time being. As she zipped the bag up, rising to stand, she would again replace it upon her shoulder before turning full attention back to him.
"So, where would you like to go first? Or should I just take the lead and see if you follow?"

He nodded very lightly, showing that he could understand the predicament. Not that his own past had the heavily marked moments as hers did; his past was fairly average if you were to hold a side by side comparison. Still, he understood the feelings, as well as the overwhelming pain and times of despair. They were emotions he had come to know and respect through the eyes of his mother, a strong woman but hard to keep from the ghosts of her past. He wondered at the possibility of harder days- his mothers time was rough, but now kids had far worse things to deal with, and everyone seemed to have a tale of death and betrayal. Brian, however, had but one story of that kind, and it involved the "simple" death of his father. It was not a particularly welcome topic, so he didn't bother to state his understanding. Instead he simply waited for her confused look to pass.
When she mentioned flirty, he pressed a hand over his heart, giving a little laugh.
"Me, flirting? I wouldn't dare. Half the school would kick my ass for even thinking those thoughts about its Captain." An obvious lie, but one said in good nature. She was blunt, to the point. Good, he liked that. She said something about him being different than most guys who roamed the halls, and rather than answer he simply shrugged. He felt no need to explain how every male in this schools intelligence level combined could not amount to his IQ- that would be flaunting, and his own mind was nothing he liked to dwell on, or flaunt, or take pride in. It was simply who he was, and was not an instrument to be used for their evil, but his good. When she bent down to put her book away, he caught a perfect look down her shirt, causing the smile to crease his face before he looked away down the hall, biting his lower lip in thought.
He turned back, ready to say something before she came to her feet, when an arm wrapped around his neck, dragging him backward. Another male took his place, the transaction silent as the guy propped himself up with an arm. He looked down her shirt alluringly, knowing soon they would be his to do with as he would. Why hide where he was looking when he would own them anyway? Brian, however, didn't think much of being dragged away. He stuck out his thumb, twisting his hand around so it pointed directly at the man behind him. He threw the thumb directly into the nerve pockets located at the hip joint, causing lashing pain to crash through the brutes body. The one holding him would push his head forward reflexively, and Brian would throw his head backward, breaking a nose. The hold was released.
Meanwhile, the lead male, the one who now stood where Brian was, would watch the Captain come to her feet.
"You know, you really are as hot as they say. I'm going to do you a favor, and give you the chance to willingly fuck me." He grinned, almost stupidly. "It will be easier than-" He was cut off, Brian stepping between them to pick up his backpack which fell from his shoulder when he was grabbed. "Sorry- didn't know she was your girl. Next time, try telling me." He turned and gave a smile and a wink to Kev, walking down the hall without further ado. The leader man turned back, looking at the man who was on the ground, holding a broken nose with one hand, and a twitching right leg with the other. Brian would wait for the girl to finish whatever she needed to do and to catch up- perhaps the guy was her boyfriend.
He doubted it though. They guy could barely string two words together- not the type for someone who looked like her. He rounded a hallway, and leaned against the wall by the door, out of sight, waiting for her to walk through. If she did, he would smile when she saw him, his voice a casual but again, flirty tone.
"Sheesh, stalking me when you have a boyfriend? Little risky, don't you think?"

Kevala could sense the emotions in the air, and before she could say anything, or allow him to speak, that hand shot around his neck. A roll of her eyes given as Dopey # 1 took up the spot, his words just another version of the things she had heard a hundred times over from men far more capable of pulling them off.
But it seemed Brian had that situation under control, and Kevala would simply take a step back and watch the little bit of action unfold. That blood now pouring down the front of the guys face sparking a bit of fire in those icy hues. Though she did well to conceal her thoughts and simply continue her observation.
Then, Dopey #2 entered the picture, her body pushing off the locker to turn and face him as his eyes wandered over her body. Honestly, could these guys not come up with something a little more original?
Honestly, she would kill for a guy that knew what the hell he was talking about instead of flaunting his stupidity in the air for the world to see. Just as she was about to say something though, Brian interrupted the scene with his presence. Leaning down to pick up his back before seeming to humor Dopey #2 with comments about being his girl and things of that nature. Yet as he turned his head toward her, she caught that wink and would feel the corner of her lips once more tugging slightly into a grin.
Oh yes, he was indeed different than most she had run into. Which was good. To say she was tired of the usual male with thoughts only of sex and of kicking her ass into submission, was an understatement.
Then as he walked off she would turn attention back to Dopey #2....sure that he had some name but not one she ever really cared to know. Smiling innocently she would step toward him, her hips shifting slowly from side to side as she closed the distance and gave that soft, innocent little gaze up to him.
With the index finger of her right hand she would motion for him to come closer, biting her lip in a nervous and slightly flirty manner.
Of course the big lummox obeyed, they always did. His head leaning down to her's so that she was easily able to brush her lips against his ear in a soft whisper.
"You only wish you were man enough for me."
With that her other first shot out into his stomach, sending him back against the wall with a hand wrapping about his gut, trying to once more regain his breath. Her bag soon following as she slipped if off her shoulder and swung it upward and into his face, hearing the dull crack of his nose.
"There! Now you and your buddy match!"
A soft feminine giggle let forth as she turned, slipping the bag back onto her shoulder, and headed in the direction that Brian had gone in. Passing through the doorway only to be greeted by that flirty and teasing tone of his.
As her eyes once more fell upon him she would shrug softly and let a smile paint across her features. Looking all too innocent in her expression when the reality of it was that she was anything but.
"What can I say? He just isn't doing it for me anymore. Thought I would try my hand at something a little more interesting with a few more brain cells."
Her tone making it obvious that she was teasing, though her choices as of late may have said otherwise. But then she was not exactly in the right frame of mind as of late, just now getting back to her normal state.
"Besides, I love to live dangerously. Now, come on...I believe you wanted a tour."
With that she would reach out, her small, soft hand wrapping about his wrist as she tugged him away from the wall, releasing him once she was sure that he would be joining her.
Not wishing to be too terribly forward. She had to learn self control right? Well okay, so she had to TRY and learn self control. For now.....Hehe

He heard the massive crash and tumbling weeze of the former leader of the two stooges, Brian cocking an eyebrow as the strength of the Captain was put into play through his hearing- he didn't peek around the corner, instead continuing to wait. After her arrival and his statement, she gave that little smile, making his heart beat a little faster. He liked that she could take his harmless actions without trying to constantly kick his face in. It was a tiresome act to pull, at his old school, always looking out for those who took some sick, sedistic pleasure from abusing those guys who only wanted the company of an intelligent female. The girls there hung low, trying not to attract any attention, and it just grew boring.
Here though, there was actually a woman who was Captain, in power. It gave him something more to work with, a beleagured and self absored world needed someone like her to show them not everyone would bow to the whims of aggravated males only upset and their own lacking in life. For instance, a normal man would have terrorized both the guys who interfered with their "game"- Brian only saw fit to do what was needed to escape, nothing more. Showing off wasn't his style, he was confident in himself enough that flaunting his masculinity was unneeded. The constant stagnant wave of tremoltuous testosterone made him nearly sick to his stomach. Yes, there was enough brutish men to the world without him adding lighting to their thunder.
He laughed at her statement, eyebrows going up a little as she took his wrist, leading him away. He would speak as she did so, a little chuckle to his voice.
"Okay okay, if you insist i'll take a tour with you, no need to beg!"
He placed the bag over his shoulder once again as his eyes watched the flowing locks at the back of her head. She was obviously enjoying this, though he sensed suspicion- only natural he guessed. Life in a school of bandits and thieves only spawned a distrustful nature. He supposed he would have to win her over, as well as anyone else she was associated with. It wasn't something he thought about, but befriending the Captain was probably the best thing that could happen to him. Not because he wanted to flaunt it, but because it could prevent him from having forced combat situations, and she seemed like a genuinely nice person. A little confused, and she did have some issues to work though this he could see, but it was nothing too drastic, at least not that he had yet seen.
He stepped up beside her, falling in line with her footsteps.
"774. This school is huge." He looked her in the eye. "Who runs the place." A smile. "Well, besides you, of course."

As she began walking she would listen to his words and grin once more, those eyes lit up with the prospect of an actual game. True she had those she liked to play with, but they always let her win so easily. It was rather dull and did not appeal to her flirtatious and competitive ways. She loved the chase, the excitement.....The fun word games and teasing natures. Sure, a capture was nice every now and again, but it was not that thing which she most desired. Despite what her actions may have stated about her as of late.
"Hmm....Beg? I don't know if you would call it that. I mean, honestly you have not given me reason to fall to my knees and beg for your favor yet."
She then turned her head just slightly, shooting him another teasing little glance, letting her little smirk tease upon her lips. Those eyes seeming to dance with both the fluorescents overhead and the thrill of having somebody that actually interested her to keep her company.
Taking slow, steady steps down the hall, she let her hips sway in their naturally seductive manner, back and forth in perfect time almost like a steady throb of a heart beating in one's chest.
"Mr. Durand is the headmaster here. Though if you ask me the guy is a little off his rocker. Not that he is not a good Headmaster. It is just, he is.......hmmm....eccentric.."
Yes, that was the nicest way to put it. The man was, in her opinion, two braincells above certifiable but who was she to talk? His eccentric and somewhat strange methods kept things around this place interesting to say the very least, which was refreshing in a place that was so bogged down with stress and heated, angered emotions.
But none the less she would tuck her fingers into the pockets of her jeans, teeth slipping forth to capture the corner of her lower lip in an idle bite as she let her mind wander for just a bit. Finally turning back to him with that look of interest still held on her delicate features.
"So tell me, Brian, what brings you to our little world of Neanderthals and overly defensive girls with serious attitude problems?"
A somewhat shy giggle escaping her as she smiled that gentle and beautiful smile she did not often find reason to put forth these days.
"Unless it is too much to ask, in which case I can try again. Though if you show me your's I will show you mine."
A daring little look in those eyes as the cast him one last glance before turning back to the path ahead of them. Figuring the best place to start was the schools library, then she would decide where to go from there. Not really focused on the actual tour at this point, more towards the guy who currently kept her company.

He smiled holding up a finger to make a point.
"Ah, but you see, the 'yet' in that sentence is what counts." He walked in a step of mock confidence and cockiness. "I have hope for your begging in the future!" He opened one eye, letting his gaze come over to hers, the corners of his eyes scrunching up a little in merriment. She seemed well adept at the game, putting herself into a position of physical prowess. Like a tiger, on the hunt, her body swayed and moved, trying to tack his attention in its trap. It was a very difficult temptation to resist, letting his mind and eyes wonder. But he prided himself on his ability of resistance, of holding out. He hooked his right thumb into the pocket of his jeans, his other hand holding the strap of the backpack over his shoulder.
His ears caught on the name. He tucked in deep into the portions of his mind, storing it for later use. At least now he knew something about how the place was run. From his current perspective, the building was in control of the students, not the supervisor, or headmaster. She made out like the man was a nutcase, which may be fact. He thought for a moment on it before realizing he was out of focus on the situation. He brought himself back, concentrating on her voice again. It was like a soft strum on the strain of an acoustic guitar. Okay, maybe that was a bad analogy. But its better then saying "She had a pretty voice." Anyway, he laughed a little at her prospect of showing her his, and getting repercussion from her.
"Ah, well, I'm not sure you can handle mine. It would be embarrassing for me to put it out there only to discover its overwhelming effect."
He gave another small chuckle and a shrug, letting her drink in what he just said before he continued.
"No, I'm just here with my mom. Moved to the states after my dad died in London a few months ago. Decided on California, since its warm without the constant hurricanes. Plus this place had some good reviews, and my mom wanted me someplace where i could...whats the word...grow, i guess." He didn't go too far into the nitty gritty, but enough to give her an idea of why he was here. Most men would talk like they had some deep past they couldn't reveal, but the mystery of that era seemed lacking, and he saw no reason not to tell her exactly what was going on with him. He didn't tell her about his job as a mechanic, but he guessed she would find out eventually. He looked behind him, turning around and walking backward as a girl stuck her head out of the classroom to watch the Captain pass.
He tilted his head back, giving her a "whats up" chin chuck, a smile coming to his lips.
"Hey, how ya doin'?"
She blushed, sticking her head back into the classroom and giggling with her friends. He turned himself around, back to the current path of step. He looked down, clearing his throat with a smile.
"As much as i love the contact of our bodies, mind if i get my hand back?" The grin stayed. "Unless you planned on using it, in which case, take your time."
Perhaps she didn't realize it- he didn't, until he turned around and realized his arm was still attached to her. He expected a blush- hoped for one, in fact. Seeing that on her face would probably be excruciatingly adorable.

Kevala continued on, his comment continuing to hold that grin in place on her features as she shrugged softly.
"Hmm..you have a ways to go before you get me on my knees before you for anything. Though keep working, I find the game ever so much fun."
That smile never faltering as she looked down at the ground as her boots softly thudded against it. Then his next teasing remark was sent forth and she would again cast her eyes in his direction, shrugging a bit before speaking up once more in that soft, elegant little tone, tinged with the southern accent she was unable to hide for too long.
"Oh I am pretty sure I can handle whatever it is you have to offer. Question is, could you really handle me?"
As they walked she listened intently to his words, noting the somewhat normal background. Sure, it was not all sunshine and rainbows, but then nobodies ever was in this place. Yet it was as close to normal as she had ever heard and a part of her deep down longed for something so, easy. Yes easy. The pain of the death of a loved on she could handle. It was all the other crap her life had piled onto her that was making coping that much harder with each day that passed her by.
But she was a woman of her word, and she would spill the sorted little truth about why she had come here, why she was who she was she supposed. Seeing as how every event in her life seemed to alter her in some way.
"Well, as for me, I moved here because my girlfriend at the time needed to come here for business, and seeing as how we were living together at the time...It just made sense. Not like I had any family to tie me to the place....I mean I have spent most of my life alone, so when the option came up to find myself in that position again or go with her, I chose the more selfish route. Ironically I find that I have ended up in that very position I tried so hard to avoid. Only now in a new town where I must start over and where I am....captain..."
Her tone dropped upon the end of her sentence, a bit of worry almost leaking into her final word as she thought over her position in this school and what it was doing to her. But then that was just her and her need to constantly change and grow. Things as of late had made her feel as though she could not, and made her question if she really wanted to be the captain of this school. Honestly the only thing keeping her as such was the fact that she worried who would take her place and what they would do to the students when they did.
Her mind pulled away from the thoughts as she noted him turning around, giving that little acknowledgment to the girl who had been peeking out of class. Rolling her eyes she just turned her gaze to the floor once more and let him have his fun with the giggling hoard of girls just inside the doorway. No doubt by the end of the day he would be of interest to more than half the female population.
Yet soon enough his attention shifted back to her, and his comment got her to bite her lower lip as she quickly retracted her hand and lowered her head, letting her hair fall partially to try and shield the fact that her cheeks had indeed gotten just the slightest bit red.
Never one to usually blush she was caught off guard and would show such as she cast him a sheepish little look with those startling icy hues.
"Sorry, guess I wasn't thinking clearly."
She could have sworn she had let go, but now that she thought about it, apparently she had not. Gah, what the hell was up with her?
Struggling to get her thoughts back in order she would draw in a deep breath, regaining her composure as she again lifted her head and smiled.
"Annd this is the library. Mrs. Carlson is pretty cool, though she is strict on the no talking policy, at least to a degree."
Stopping there, she would let him look as he pleased, leaning up against the wall and crossing her legs at her ankles...Once he was ready she would again start walking, letting her attention turn back to their previous conversation.
"Anyways, what do you do for fun when you are not flirting with every pretty little thing to cross your path?"
Her own tone flirty in nature and soft even though it still held that teasing edge to it.

He smiled broadly as she tried to hide her "shame". He thought she looked sweet- he was glad even the strongest person on Campus had a soft side. It made things in his life far more simple. He cleared his throat, nodding in admiration at the library introductions. The name of a nice teacher may be helpful, in case he needed a place to lie low for a while. People took hiding as cowardice- he thought it simply an opportunity to relax, and not have to put up with the pains of combat. He wasn't afraid, as he was physically incapable of feeling fear. He just didn't like fighting. The time he spent beating up on people could be spent on better things, like his studies, making money, or chasing tail. his thoughts came back to her as she leaned against the wall. He looked inside, memorizing the ladies face before giving a small nod of acceptance for a continuation of their journey together.
He stopped when she said the last part. Holding a hand over his chest and making a face of mock pain, he gave a sarcastic retort. "Oh...Captain. That hurts...like really. I'm almost offended." He turned his nose up, appearing to disregard her. " I don't think we can be friends anymore. You just don't know me at all!" He opened an eye, giving a little chuckle as though to say he was dumb before he brought his hands up, as though to try and convince her of otherwise. "Seriously though, i only like to have fun. If you can't live freely whats the point in life at all, right? Besides-" He looked her up and down. "-Would you prefer if i was Frankenstein?" He brought his arms up.
"I. Am. Emotionless. I. do. Not. Find. Girls. Attractive. Especially. Not. The. Smoking. Hot. Captain. She. Doesn't. Do. It. For. Me. In. Any. Way." He said them in a dull voice, not robotic, but low and sluggish. He probably looked utterly ridiculous, but he didn't care, his arms lowering as a small laugh and blush came to his cheeks. He brought his index finger up,brushing down the bridge of his nose in slight embarrassment before using his middle finger to push his glasses back into place. He wondered if she thought him weird, and though he could understand if she did, he hoped she didn't. He actually got along with her, and the only reason he tried to make a fool of himself was to help her forget about the holding his hand thing. Perhaps laughing at him wouldn't make her feel so awkward.
Either way, he had now either got a true laugh from the girl, or made a total idiot out of himself. He guessed he's have to roll with the punches, whatever they happened to be.

As they began to continue their walk, she stopped when she noted that he did, her brow raising has he acted so hurt and offended by her words, a grin tugging at her lips. Her head tilting slightly as she held back a giggle at his actions.
She liked this guy, for whatever reason. It was nice to meet somebody so out of the scope of "normal" as far as she knew it. Which consisted of bitchy girls and stupid ass guys. So yes, he was definitely a nice addition to her day.
Then he turned into some kind of, robotic voice, the words he recited making it hard for even her to hold back her laughter. This time letting forth a genuine laugh that lit up her features and caused her eyes to seemingly dance as she shook her head.
Letting him finish she would cover her mouth to stifle back the rest of her laugh as she noted the redness of his cheeks and the nervous manner in which he brushed her finger along his nose, pushing his glasses back into place.
Taking a few steps forward to close the distance, she would reach up, her warm, silken touch falling across the redness of his cheeks as she shook her head.
"Hmm...Smoking hot huh? Well, I guess I could maybe say the same for you."
Those eyes growing fiery as she let her touch linger for a moment more before turning about and tapping her index finger to her chin.
"So where ever should we go next. I would say the cafeteria, but honestly avoid it at all costs. I always go out to lunch. Cant stand that stuff they serve in there."
Casting another glance back at him she would brush her tongue to her lips and smile, her head tilting slightly and causing a bit of her hair to fall down into her eyes.
"So how about you tell me where you would like to go, and I will show you the way....Besides you still have to answer my question about what it is you like to do."
A flirtatious little smile thrown his way as she waited for him to tell her where he wanted to go. She had time, so it was no rush, she was just enjoying actually talking to somebody for once.

He laughed more when he noticed her busting out in a fit of the giggles. Her merriment was exceptionally attractive, his own cheeks deepening a little, his form never truly losing its confident posture. It wasn't as though he was utterly horrified at his own actions, he was just embarrased, like any normal human being would be with a beautiful girl laughing at them. When it subsided, he moved toward him, reaching up with a look in her eyes he remembered fondly from others. He tilted his head only slightly, giving her easier access to his face, her fingers touching it gently. He breathed in the strong scent that came along with the tingling touch. She seemed...fiery, almost alight with a lust of her own. He gave a half smile, not in a cocky manner, but in a respectable way, as though to genuinely say "thanks for the compliment".
As she turned and began to walk away, casting a very flirtatious smile over her shoulder, he shook his head a little, smiling and licking his lips in a "Oh, its on, fuggin' tease" Sorta way. He hoisted his pack a little before walking after her, her voice changing straight back to business. The girls at this school...he was really, truly gonna like it here.
"Well, i was thinking we could go grab a drink before heading back to your pla- IIII mean lets head to the courtyard. I hear its probably the least violent place on campus, and the most beautiful." As if- the place was likely torn to shreds. It was that way at the last school he went to. He didn't understand a overwhelming need people had to destroy the gardens. It wasn't as though the school had an over abundance of trees, but they were like gods, trying to bring balance when the scales had already tipped. He gave another crude smile, giving a wink and a flashing grin to another hot girl who happened to walk by. Instead of grinning back, she gave him a weird look, checking him out over her shoulder. He turned around once again, spreading his arms wide as if to say "Whats up honey?".
He laughed, turning his attention once more back to the Captain. He snapped, rubbing his hands together.
"Ah, right. My interests. I'm a mechanic. Love working with my hands." He cocked an eyebrow. "And the things i can do with these things...well, my fingers are just magical, to say the least." He continued on as though he didn't mean anything by it. "I also enjoy books, and im sort of a martial arts fan too, though i dont much put that sport into real world practice, if you know what i mean." He gave a little finger flick to her. "How about you- what does the leader of several hundred students do when not beating freshman into line?"
Obviously a small joke, but still, the interest in her was there.
