Alexis was sitting at a nice restaurant by herself down town. Why wasn't she with her only friend and not to mention boyfriend? Well.. she had heard some news of her cousin Talon. She had never been close with the boy. Out of all the siblings Alexis was the most separated from the family. After Donavan's little out burst she got to thinking. She had been a horrible person... locked out everyone out of her life that could have helped her live through her life and out of the struggles she had faced..... though she was hoping he would show... She was pretty sure the rest of the Green family wasn't too happy by her for being on the news so much as a kid... Gave them a bad name... even made Olivia change her hair colour to blond so the poor thing wouldn't be mistaken as her sister. But... She wanted to put that all past her. Dressed in a simple white summer dress and a white, thick ribbon in her hair used as a head band. She would tap at the table with her finger tips...practicing her music. She was nervous.. Lexi had no idea how he would think of her... and she was gonna try her best not to put up her self defense wall and be a total bitch to him. Lexi was gonna invite Donavan and have a nice little family get together... but he really needed to calm down. Alexis looked down at the time on her phone before sighing.

Talon had gotten the word that his cousin Alexis wished to see him. It was a bit of an odd request given that she was the most estranged from the Green family. He remembered well hearing his parents compliment about her many wrong doings and the fact that she was a disgrace to the family name. But he really never paid much mind.
If he had then he would have thought himself the same. A freak of nature not worthy of the name. So it was without much hesitation that he found himself in front of the restaurant looking up at the name plague above the door.
Nice enough place, and though he was not dressed in the most formal of attire, he supposed it was well enough for the type of meeting he was having.
Pushing his way into the slightly busy room, he set his emerald hues to look about, easy enough to spot that lovely face he knew to be his cousin.
He may have many things wrong with him, but he never did forget a face.
With a little roll of his shoulders, simply stretching the muscles there, he tucked his hands into the pockets of his slacks and cut across the restaurant in order to reach her table.
Coming up behind her he leaned in, just long enough to place a friendly peck to her cheek before straightening up once more. Hopefully she would not smack the shit out of him. But he was more than anything a gentleman, despite the lack of a male figure in his lfe.
"Alexis. Looking as lovely as ever. I am surprised you asked me here."
He would then move to take his seat across from her. He had already run into her brother, and he knew the tragedy that had befallen her sister as well. Topics he did not wish to breech unless it was needed.
Placing his hands on the table in front of him, he kept his eyes on her, a half ass smile curling on his handsome features and seeming to light up those emerald hues all the more.

Alexis Was just about to get up to leave..who was she kidding? She reached for her purse, but paused when she felt a kiss on the side of her cheek. She looked over her shoulder to see a striking young man. She smiled at him when he sat down and her arm would recede from grabbing for the purse.
"Alexis. Looking as lovely as ever. I am surprised you asked me here."
Her eyes studied him. He had grown into a good looking guy... last time she probably saw him was post-puberty. She generally looked the same from when she was younger... that's how she was able to pull off being older to con adults.
"And you are look to be a strapping young lad." she said with a little wink. "And I'm surprised you actually came! Man, I feel bad for not keeping touch with anyone... but..." she shrugged "You know how it is...Getting all 'famous'." Her attempt at making a bad joke. "But man I'm glad you did... you can pick what ever you want.. dinner is on me...and don't wait up for me I already know what I'm going to order.."
She would sit back in her seat and would wait for him to look through the menu. "So... stopped moving around finally?"

He laughed softly at her excitement and her comment on his appearance. A little nod given as he opened up the menu and began to read.
"What can I say? Apparently growing up the loner and having nothing to do but work out paid off."
Then she began to apologize and his hand would raise up to stop her. A genuine smile on his lips as he shook his head.
"No need cousin. You are family. Something the rest of the Greens seem to have forgotten. What is in the past is in the past....."
He would then shrug lightly. Who was he to judge? He was much the outcast just like herself...Only reason he was kept near the family was because he was the only heir to his Father's company.
"Besides, you have done nothing wrong towards me. Unless of course you are the reason that I seem to be unable to get near other people without some foul sense being brought about. In which case you owe me more than just a meal."
He laughed softly, clearly just making a joke to try and put her at ease. It was rare that his family wanted to socialize with him, so this was a very welcome experience for him.
"Ah yes, the moving seems to have finally stopped. Father has decided to live out his years heading up the companies main office here in San Diego. I must admit I am happy with his choice."
He would then spot what he wanted, a simply club sandwhich...Seeing as how it was one thing that very seldom set off his condition.
Folding the menu into place he would set it down, his hands once more laced together upon the table.....Focus again on her.
"And you? I have not heard news of you in some time. Though I admit I have been paying little attention. How are things for you?"

Alexis smiled while taking a small sip from the water that had been given to her prior to Talon's appearance.
"And you? I have not heard news of you in some time. Though I admit I have been paying little attention. How are things for you?"
Alexis laughed and waved her hand to get a waiter's attention.
"Well.. you probably hadn't heard of me in a long time because I hadn't been on the channel five news." she sighed and gave him a little shrug. "But man... so much has happened... I was forced to go to Alaska at a second chance school.. so from there I was able to move to San Francisco and start all over again... And that's where I bumped into Olivia... but she moved back to Australia...I moved to Europe to do some business for a friend and moved to Long Beach... I got close with my boss... and now I'm living with him and we are engaged."
Alexis blurted out her story so casually no one would be able to pick out the lies. There were only two.... But meh... better than the whole story being wrong.
"I'm making money legally now... which is a good change... I moved here 'cause...well the job required it. One way to look at it...I kind of work with the school here.... are you attending 774?"

He raised his brow at her rushed words, a little laugh escaping as he shook his head.
"Well that is quite the life story you have there. Falling in love with the boss huh? Sounds like a rather naughty little tale. Very true to us Greens huh?"
Oh they all had there secrets and their little quirks, sure she was a bit more eccentric than the rest but then he figured that was what made her who she was.
He saw no problem with it. He was sure he would be as well if people got to know him better than they did......
As the waiter came round, he placed his order and asked for his glass of water, content to be drinking that on such a warm day.
Only once she had ordered and the waiter had left would he turn back, nodding in agreeement to her making money in an honest manner.
"Well it is always good to work honestly I am told. It is what I try to do for the most part. But I have missed getting to know my family due to my parents and their travels.....But perhaps we can change that?"
He would smile once more and then take his drink as the waiter brought it over, a good long sip taken before setting it down onto the table.
"Yes, I am attending 774....First real school I have been to. Rather interesting I must say. Which by the way, I ran into your brother not too long ago....Oh about 3 to 4 weeks I would guess...At a party one of the kids at school was throwing."
He did not know of any strain on their relationship, he was just making idle conversation. Nothing more.

She ordered her food and the waiter was on his way to get their order in.

Alexis set a stern look upon her expression as she gave him a firm nod in agreement. So far she was having a better time than she had with Donavan. That kid was a ticking time bomb. He had his moments when he was a good kid... But really... poke a puppy too many times he is bound to bite.

Alexis set aside her bitter feelings towards her younger brother for the sake of the conversation. "A real treat wasn't he?"
Never mind.... anyone...even people who didn't know Alexis would be able to sense the sarcasm in that question from a mile away. "But man... I don't even know what to say... Find any special American girls yet?" she said with a laugh.

He laughed at the comment about Donovan as he shook his head. A little knowing look filling those emerald hues.
"I am not usually one to down play a family member, but the boy could use a bit of....learning in how to handle people I believe. Especially those who are related to him."
Oh it had not taken a scientist to see that Donnie had been a bit to unhappy to see him that night, which was not exactly something that surprised Talon. Most of the family was that way.
Then came the question about girls and he shook his head. A little shrug given as if to say the matter did not really bother him, though it was clear that perhaps it did.
"When you have the condition I have...You find it hard to socialize with people in general, let alone girls. I try, but they always seem to throw me off in one way or another. But I am hopeful. Someday I may find a girl worth spending my time and money on."
He was a spoiler...He always had been. Loving to dote on the few girls he had tried to get close with, yet never managing to do so.
But it was of no matter to him. He would keep up his life as he had it and then one day hopefully find the girl of his dreams.
"But enough about me. Tell me about this fiancé you have. I can only assume that he is good for you given the recent lack of news coverage concerning your."
Another friendly smile given as he chuckled softly. Very interested to hear what she had to say.

Alexis nodded knowing exactly what he was talking about. It was never easy to find someone who would stick with you even when you have a "problem". There had been times where she thought she had one...Rock being the first. She only thought she had loved him only because he was her first... but they never talked aside from sleeping together... just her young, female mind playing tricks on her. Next was Li. She loved him.. a part of her still loved him for help making who she was today... but now she found herself with Gabriel... no guy could compare.
"But enough about me. Tell me about this fiancé you have. I can only assume that he is good for you given the recent lack of news coverage concerning you."
Alexis laughed. He could not have been interested in something like. "Um...Well...He is French...Rich.... and hot... His name is Gabriel." she was kidding....but not really. "You really have to meet him someday.. I'm sure you would like him... Everyone usually does. You can probably come over some time and I can cook something up."

He sat there listening to her talk a little laugh escaping him as he nodded and then moved his arms so that his order could be set down before him.
Reaching out to take up the salt shaker he would flip open the top of the sandwich sprinkling a bit on top.
"Well, being hot is always a good thing. Though a Frenchy huh? I suppose if he has captured your heart he cant be all bad."
He flashed that classic little grin her way, letting her see that he was of course only joking.
"But yes, I would love to meet him. I really do wish to take part in your life now Alexis if you will allow it. I think that my settling here is the perfect chance for me to make amends where my family seems to have slacked off."
He then turned his attention back to his food, closing up the sandwich once more and then lifting it to take a bite....Ignoring the colors that seemed to fill the room upon tasting the food.
Waiting until he was done with that bite before taking another drink of water, eyes glancing up to her to see what she thought about his last statement. With their family you could never tell. They had never been a close bunch, and though he knew he could never mend such with his parents he hoped to be able to do so with his cousins......Donnie of course being a hard nut to crack he was sure.

She rolled her eyes at the comment followed by a little laugh. And sticking her fork in the newly arrived food.
"But yes, I would love to meet him. I really do wish to take part in your life now Alexis if you will allow it. I think that my settling here is the perfect chance for me to make amends where my family seems to have slacked off."
As she chewed she nodded her head at his statement. When she finally swallowed her food then set down her fork to take a sip of her water. "Yeah... I'm sure he would be happy to meet you too... just as long as you don't pull something Donnie would." she would laugh. "And you don't need to apologize on your family's behalf nor do you have to make up for it. They aren't sorry I know it. You are trying to make amends just as I... so yeah.. lets just leave it at that." she gave him a sincere wink before going back to her food. Their family was pretty fucked up... The family matters failed incredibly. She was wondering right now if her mother was still in jail or not...
Meh. She hoped she still was.
She carried on eating her food..now it being a bit quiet as she focused on her dinner. She really didn't know what to talk about with him... she knew...well.. NOTHING of him. Only what he looked like and how he was her cousin....
"So...umm... you practice music?"
Their family tended to be very talented... so why not...shoot a bullet in the dark.
