Is arrogance a disease here?

Jayr sat complacently for a time still having her lips pursed though this time more out of repetition rather than out of impatience though somewhere along the lines Kevala must have misinterpreted those sign. Which to her may have been infuriating not knowing someone, it seemed as though they were on even grounds, as it should be.

"No not really." Jayr simply made an innocent smile back, a sinister way about it feeling as though she could appeal to the same magic she'd been holding up around here.

"You are likely just as frustrating since you actually have a brain and know how to use it. Which is good. The minute people in this place figure you out is the minute they try to take advantage."

"And you're so different than them right now? Think you know me so well? All by just a flash of red and my true colors emerge." Jayr huffed quickly jumping back into the seat blowing her hair back with a hand appearing a bit upset for the sake of things.

Kevala laughed...It was all she really could do. Gods some girls were so fucking bitchy. Rolling her eyes she would shake her head and smile.

"I dont pretend to know you. Though it does not stop me from fishing for information. Though you seem to have a pretty good grasp on who I am and what I think. Or at least you think you do."

She shrugged, letting the girl think what she wanted as she pulled into the parking lot of a local burger joint. Not really waiting as she hopped out of the car and grabbed up her money from the console in the center before shutting the door.

She was not one to let others get to her. Either the girl liked her or thought her a bitch. What did Kev care? Sure she hated when people hated her, but it was a part of her life she had grown all too used to.

"So what do you want to eat?"

Yeah so maybe she was distracted. Tended to happen with her. Oh wells! As she entered she would stand there looking up at the menu...Gah she was starving!! And it all looked sooooo good....

She waited however for Jayr to order or whatever she was gonna do. Trying to be nice.....for now at least.

Crossing blades

Jayr would roll her eyes softly, this woman was really aggressive in her assumption of being the alpha female, really it didn't take much to be right even at least part of the time. But she was taking her superiority a bit too far. Ye Jayr had a problem with authority so this was just Jayr's way of "warming up to her" so to speak. People always had a way of changing and Jayr was hoping that Kevala would quickly change otherwise these two would be on opposite sides of a very deadly dispute.

"So what do you want to eat?"

Her attention would shift over towards Kevala quickly unsure whether she wanted to bitch at the girl or just give a simple reply.

"Mmmmm, I don't know I suppose I'll just have like two burgers, I'm starving." Jayr would protest dangerously treading the line between raging bitch and hungry monster.
