Well today had proved interesting indeed, she had come to school with only thoughts of making it through another day in one piece, gotten into a fight with that idiot Kale, and had to deal with little miss stuck up bitch .........whatever her name was.....Kev would definitely have to look into that one......

Either way, she had sent some lackies to clean up the boys restroom, sent word to Durand of his rouge student...Not like that weirdo cared.....annnd now she was headed outside.....She needed fresh air and yeah, that was the best place to get it......

During her long trip down the hall, she had not paid much mind to the girl she had convinced to leave with her. Not that she was being a bitch, but the entire trip had been spent either pulling random students to a stop and having them do as she asked, or on her phone sending what messages needed to be sent.

She did not trust that big ox not to start more shit, so for the sake of the whole student body she had set about several other kids watching him. Not to mention calling the nurse to attend to those he had already gotten ahold of.....

As for her, her arm was killing her, surely fractured if not broken in some places...Ribs definitely shattered in a few places and her head was killing her....No doubt bruises on her back were already forming....She was in pain......yet she sucked it up and did what she had to do.......

Now as she reached the exit, she thought about that girl, wondering what the hell she thought about all this. Not that Kev really cared, but then she didnt care about much......Still, she looked back, unsure if the girl had stuck with her or if she had gone on about her business....

Either way, Kev ended up outside, blood staining her shirt and pants, her wrist swollen, though it was not clear beneath the cuffs she wore, and a slight limp to her walk.......Crawling up onto one of the stone tables and laying back, eyes closing as she tried to just.........relax.....

Yes...breath and relax...best thing she could do right now.......

Boldness be my Vice

Jayr had tagged along much to her dismay, she'd never been much of a follower though this had been called out of reason her only purpose here was to find answers to acknowledge the so called rule of Kevala written about in these newspapers to be simply more than just of her violence and perhaps more than just a bitch as she'd been alluded to be. Why? Because Jayr had been called all those things once before, not that she hadn't been but people had to understand, was that not just.

"You know you were pretty stupid back there..." Jayr said with a bit of respectability to her tone.

Which in its own way was rather odd. She never acted nicely to people she'd just met, not unless they served her a purpose. Tried to be but friend wasn't exactly her role in life.

"But I suppose you solved things.... though carrying muscle heads around surely only heightens the problem." A tad bit of attitude as she tried nit piking the details to the arrangement.

As Kevala laid there upon the table, her eyes closed and her hands folded behind her head, she shrugged to the comment....A grin tugging at her lips as she heard the insult and simply let it slide off of her like a drop of water....

"I could say the same for you."

Well it was true, the girl had jumped up to defend Kale without the facts, she had based her choice on what she saw, nothing more...Was that not a brief lapse of judgement if ever there was one? Letting ones sense of duty or honor or whatever the fuck it had been get to her head?

"As for the meat heads, I have my reasons. Do not think that I go about my life making my choices based on something as foolish as the way a person appears to be. I dont like it when another does it to me...."\

With that she cracked one eye open and cast a look to the other girl, the only shift from her relaxed position she offered before smiling once more then closing her eye, returning back to her previous position.

So which of us is the greater evil?

That was a concern in her head after making that very mistake earlier. Had she taken a second to wait, to observe she wouldn't have been flawed her reasoning would have been just and things would be black and white yet clearly to the turn of events she was before a girl who she openly blasphemed before the school and stood against and now she was hanging on but a few words holding humane conversation. To the very least it was strange. Enemies were so much more easy to deal with than allies at times, she gritted her teeth knowing that this girl was neither at the moment but had potential for both because of her apparent tact for cunning.

"I know...its the only reason why I'm still here and not making it a case to delve blades against you, because despite it all you were right."

Her voice even toned, balanced as most things were though what was inside her gave her reason to be mad, perhaps even fret for the fact that she hadn't won this. But there was always tomorrow, to stride for it was better than to give up.

"So why is it that you carry muscle around like it actually has a purpose.... when just as well you could carry the weight of hundreds at your side?" Wordplay, a civil conversation called for greater thought.

She shrugged lightly, thinking over the question and trying to decide up on the proper answer.....Finally, with a little whistful sigh she let her fingers twist about in a bit of her hair.

"Tell me, would you have men roaming about, unchecked, with the kind of power those two hold? Or would you first learn to access the situation, learn their goals, their mannerisms, their weaknesses?"

She was just asking a question, not ready to give her own answer just yet.

Honestly she had just met the girl, one who showed a clear dislike for her, why would she openly admit to anything about her ultimate goals other than a few subtle hints here and there.

That would be like opening ones self up to getting stabbed in the back...Not something Kevala was willing to do just yet...Especially when she was so undetermined about if she was indeed doing the right thing or not.

Only time would tell she supposed.....That or she would just give up on her goal....It was all so very up in the air right now.....

Her mind still trying to work out the details of everything.....

Seeing eye to eye or worlds apart?

It took but a moment for Jar to feel that Kevala wasn't bound to lash out and crush her as expected, so she went through the motions to relaxing herself. Jayr's body moving fluidly towards the table taking a relaxed seat at the edge far enough out of reach of Kevala.

"Tell me, would you have men roaming about, unchecked, with the kind of power those two hold? Or would you first learn to access the situation, learn their goals, their mannerisms, their weaknesses?"

Jayr snorted an immature sense of laughter as she thought of them as they were. From what she'd seen they were off the leash at least from the few encounters she'd seen.

"Well I already can account for their weaknesses. And they're boys, how difficult could they possibly be?"

Jayr laughed a bit hoping Kevala would share in her sentimental humor.

Kevala was ever on key with where the girl was, even if she did not show it. She was lost in her own train of thought, not paying much mind as the girl sat down. That voice once more filling the silence between the two and causing her to again roll her shoulders. It was not that she did not care, it was just that there was only so much she could do in a certain amount of time, and therefore, she would have to wait.

The comment about their gender did in turn get a soft, short laugh from her as she shook her head.....

Her hand coming up to brush back her hair, revealing a very harsh bite mark to her neck.....Compliments of Jack of course...

"Some men are much harder than you would believe."

Not that it bothered her, it only fed her darker nature and she loved it, but it was not to say that for normal girls he would not be a handful.

Either way she sighed and opened her eyes to look up at the sky once more.

"You cannot base everything on what you see in a few short encounters. There is always more that lies beneath the surface, hidden from outsiders, and accessible only to those close. Weakness are are often the first thing to be hidden. Certainly there are those they do not see as weakness, the ones you pick up on right away...But the ones that can truly make them break are the ones that remain just out of the bystanders reach..."

She honestly could care less if she made any sense or not. She knew what she was talking about, and that was more than enough for her.

Learning is completely unnecessary

A laugh, that much was appreciated for the matter it made Jayr feel a little more confident in dealing with Kevala over the other pillars thus far. Her two muscle seemed to do nothing but deem all others inferior which royally pissed Jayr off to a whole new level as she crossed her arms before her laying them out across the table and leaned forward resting idly on the tabletop attention not directed anywhere in particular as she did so.

Then of course came the teaching lesson, certainly more informed of the pillars but still talking down to her or so she interpreted. She wasn't a child like most would imagine cognitive thoughts and ideals were her own if not slightly disillusioned in her mind. Regardless they were hers and she'd keep them that way. The thoughts to make a snide remark crossed her mind.

"Thanks for the teaching lesson but I know them well enough as it is, I've dealt with the same type of people all my life." Her chin coming up to rest along her outstretched limbs lips puckering to kiss at each arm feeling the wet glossy surface tinge good against the heated skin.

"They always seem to 'know' everything, know whats best, do the right thing, but they fall short of perfect in their strides to be so and rather forsake all those kids who are imperfect and need the helping hand."

Kev tried to listen. She really did, but it was nothing she had not heard before a million times over from one person or another. So she was not really missing anything.

But what she did pick up on was that snippy tone that escaped Jayr...A little giggle escaping her as she rolled onto her side and propped her head up on her hand.

"My my aren't you the driven, passionate, albeit snippy little firecracker?"

She shook her head, those icy hues lit up. Meaning of course a game had been sparked in her mind. Fun time!!!

Shifting finally to sit up, she would cross her legs indian style in front of her and then lean onto them with her elbows, her eyes focused on the girl as she looked at her with mild interest.

"Anything else you already know that would be a waste of my time explaining? Or do you wish to try and bite my head off again with the sassy attitude and huffed up tone?"

She had not been talking down to her, only explaining herself..But somebody sure did get defensive and fast....Hehe...

Already her mind working to figure out why that could be...Men? Nah, it was something more than that....Apparently people had taken her for less than she really was for awhile now. Ah well....Welcome to the world of women.....It sucked!! BUT not Kev's fault.....

The Presumptuous type.

Jayr looked up her attention having drifted away at the thought, back to her old school of long lost memories of team mates and coaches and teachers that'd benched her throughout life saying she was weak, or small, or just incapable of measuring up. It was her defense mechanism to be a bitch it made the others feel off guard when they approached her and made them feel hurt before Jayr was capable of getting that close, thats all that mattered.

Eyes narrowing in a put off way as she defiantly chewed at the inside of her bottom lip resisting the urge to bitch slap the girl in front of her. She was acting just the same calling her the one with the attitude when she'd misinterpreted the direction it was aimed at. Probably because Kevala was just as flawed as she. If not now than at one point of another, made to feel inadequate.

"Hmph." Jayr would simply purse her lips and turn about vehemently not caring which direction they'd fallen so far off the path at a wrong direction but deciding aptly not to stoke the fire further seeing as words only led to each of them going for the jugular.

Kevala was actually very ADDing it at the moment, and that was probably not a good thing, but even as she noted the girl getting all pouty on her ass she could think of only one thing.....

The rumbling in her tummy!!

Thinking for a moment she would finally shift to push herself off of the table and come to stand in front of Jayr...

"I am hungry. Wanna get something to eat? My treat.....I would say for something I did wrong but I think we both can agree that neither one of us is going to admit to being wrong right now........Soooo yeah...Hamburgers okay? I could totally use one right about now...."

Her hand came up to rub the tender spot on her wrist.......that smile she offered about as genuine as any she could ever offer. She didnt like the girl a whole lot.....not really....But all in all Kev was a nice girl deep down and she at least gave everyone a chance.....

Besides everyone was entitled to their own opinions. It was what made them unique.......

Taking a few steps away from the table she would keep her eyes fixed on the other girl, that paranoia still present seeing as how she did not fully know the girl yet...

"You coming, or you gonna sit there all day with the whole pucked up lips look? I mean yeah....totally hot and all, but may give some of the meat heads the wrong idea."

It was just a teasing remark, nothing mean or anything. Just...yeah...Kev being Kev.....

Coming to Terms

"I am hungry. Wanna get something to eat? My treat.....I would say for something I did wrong but I think we both can agree that neither one of us is going to admit to being wrong right now........Soooo yeah...Hamburgers okay? I could totally use one right about now...."

Jayr's attention would shift up and back finally coming to that understanding a uniting factor that joined them all at some point. Food, if Kevala had planned this out in the end she was a genius of a Captain coming to solve disagreements over a satisfied belly.

Jayr would turn around to stand with her lips still pursed together with a single nod. It was a habit of sorts she never really caught onto not until someone told her. Something like she'd sucked on a lemon but sweeter and sexier.

"You coming, or you gonna sit there all day with the whole pucked up lips look? I mean yeah....totally hot and all, but may give some of the meat heads the wrong idea."

Jayr looked down abashed as she blushed slightly for the first time coming to this place. Yea Kevala called her on it. At least she'd gotten a compliment out of it. A shy look she gave drifting upwards and a hand moving to brush her hair behind an ear as Jayr would follow in pursuit till she was in even stride.

And she was up! Score!! Okay so yeah, food was the goal and Kev was sooo not going back into the cafeteria. So that left one option. Getting in her car and going to get something.....Cause she was wasting away bit by bit....

Though those eyes lowered and the girl before her......blushed? Did she just blush? Yup...there was definite reddening of the cheeks at the comment Kevala had made....

Hmm....Odd....

"You know you are even sexier when you blush right?"

A little grin on her lips as she skipped off in the direction of her car, having left the SUV at home today. She could not pass up that opportunity to say something. It was just too......there...hehe

As she fished the keys out of her pocket she hit the alarm, hearing it sound and then the doors unlocking.....

"So whatcha wanna eat? I could pretty much eat anything but like I said...a hamburger would make my week right about now."

She stopped by the car, opening the drives side door and then watching and listening for any kinda reply.....Hunger wasting her away bit by bit as she stood there.

It only gets worse from here

"You know you are even sexier when you blush right?"

At first Jayr hadn't exactly caught on but it seemed as though the school captain had been fishing compliments at this point to gather a sort of advantage over Jayr. So her thoughts were right, the girl wasn't just a bimbo who had strength she was the plotting type to get under people's skin and use their flaws and strengths against them. Jayr pursed her lips and defiantly glared at the back of Kevala's head as she took off still coated with a shade of red from the compliment. She couldn't possibly keep this up forever eventually she'd pass out from the blood flushing to her face and then the joke would be on Kevala.

"ha" A low self gratifying laugh not even directed loud enough for Kevala to hear as Jayr slowly took it upon herself to pursue though not at her usual pace, this was more careful and contemplative of her steps taking into consideration her newest rival's innate skill sets.

"So whatcha wanna eat? I could pretty much eat anything but like I said...a hamburger would make my week right about now."

A lingering stance as she contemplated coming up with no defiance this time around, "I'm up for just about anything right now." Her shoulders shrugging innocently still following up till meeting her side.

She felt the suspicion and doubt in the air. A little grin coming to her lips. Mmm...somebody figured her out before she could continue the little game. Oh well! Time for a new tactic.....

Slipping into the now open door of her car she would pull it shut behind her and start the engine, waiting of course for Jayr to join before she would pull out of the parking lot, easily flooring the gas and speeding off.

It was just how she was. No kid in the car, no need to be as careful....Just so long as nobody found out she did such. Mwhaha!

Anyways!! She then turned her attention back to Jayr, a smile crossing her lips before she shot her eyes back to the road ahead.

"So, lemme guess, you are trying to figure me out. Well I will save you some time and let you know right away that I am NOT that easy to pin point into some specific type. No matter how much you may think you got me figured out."

It was the truth, she changed more than the weather did and that made her hard to figure out. But then that was part of her charm.

"You are likely just as frustrating since you actually have a brain and know how to use it. Which is good. The minute people in this place figure you out is the minute they try to take advantage."

She shrugged, it was her way of seeing things. If little miss snippy over there wanted to go all defiant and argue then she would argue back. It was fun. She always did love finding new play things.
