Why is it that this exp stuff is getting all complicated!!? XDD
See I knew I would have to actually do work on this damn thing...Bah!!
<3 you guys but come on! Cut a girl a break....
*collapses*
But good ideas all around....I think it should work out rather well. But I will not be using this as the new method of gauging exp until I have had a chance to go over it in detail with you Ryan, as we discussed. So yeah....I have my few view points on things, but until I have a very clear understanding of the changes being made I will reserve them for later.

Just one... fights do not count for this correct? They do count though they apply towards physical stats. & cool beans excited for clubs to get started So, if I'm understanding this correctly, you get 1 point for the actual fight and another for a finished thread? Or is it that we have to show a fight is finished to actually get any reward? Or just that exp gain from fighting can only be given to physical stats? If the top one is correct I'm going to be very confused, especially considering the worry over stat-inflation.

Okay from what I understand, and how I have up until now been doing things is this.
If two people are in a thread together that begins as social, and meets the 28 post, or 4000 word reqs and during this time a fight breaks out, then they would be awarded
+1 exp to any physical stat for the fight +1 exp to any mental stat for a thread that meets reqs.
Now, in the case that it is strictly a fight thread, meaning there is very little socialization other than fists being thrown about, then it is
+1 exp to a physical stat
and that is it. Fight threads do not need to meet the length reqs.
Then, from what I understand, if a person feels that they have earned more than +1 exp for their thread ( ex: 2 people post 6 pages of mass character development ) they are to PM a mod, and wait for the Mods and Admin to decide if the thread is worthy of more exp.
DISCLAIMER:
This is just what I have come to understand the rules as, seeing as how it is I that approves exp gain. I however know that the rules have recently been shifted a bit and therefore do not state that my view of the matter is necessarily that of the Admin. To which if I messed up on anything I am sure he will be along soon enough to correct me or fill in anything I missed.

I decided I really just don't like this rule.
Not a lot of people could reach a minimum word/page requirement which sucks...cause they could be a GREAT RPer but just find difficulties writing large bodies of writing..which brings it to this rule.
If a thread is especially: A. Funny B. Thought provoking C. Chilling and grippingly powerful to your characters storyline D. All of the above it may be brought before a moderator to decide if it is rewardable
Now how it a Mod supposed to determine this? Half the time I have a thread that is super important for my characters....they are small.... But I still got declined the EXP even though there is that "exception" but one's opinion could differ between another...I might not find someones thread funny or scary...but they might... its just bleh..I really don't like this rule T_T

Agreed with what she said. Though one input (This going on basically what Robbie's about to say), but it doesn't have to meet the requirements, short bits can be important too. Your character while having minimal interaction can still play important rolls I know many people keep things short but if you feel that a specific part was indeed significant to either your character or another's like I said the loophole would be to PM staff to check it out. It won't be an immediate thing but we'll get back to you.
*see above*
Basically PM one of us to look at it, give us a reason because hell we don't know your characters nearly as much as you do, show us significance. We're generally quite receptive.

I'll just use this as an example...
Think that if you just explain the reasoning in the post then..it should be looked at..rather than flooding a mod with PMs cause that could get annoying.... yeah the second one wasnt THAT much of a milestone..but the first one sure made an impact on my character... she turned into a crack head and lost her baby...and thought it was important for your character cause well...he did something evil... XD

Everyone's over complicated this.
Two people >4000 words equals + 1 mental exp Two people greater then two pages (28 posts+) + 1 mental Exp Two people fight + 1 exp (physical or mental)
How to get two exp for your thread.
Post a bit of a social thread first break out into a fight and then continue the socializing try to get a bit more then the minimal two pages (28 posts) in so aim for high thirties or even forties if you're trying to get 2 exp for the thread.
It's not hard to post 14 posts, don't get lazy if you want exp, clubs, sports along with MONTHLY events and classes. Every month you can gain upwards of 20 exp just from posting in these four events not to mention fights and normal role playing.
Role playing is for development, everything else is built around gaining exp which leads into stats.
Don't be lazy pm Kazuya to create a club or me to create a sports team. That's what we're here for!

Well the point of this whole thing was for the people who don't tend to have fight threads... cause people who do have fight threads would always inflate their Stats where people who lack fight threads (cause yeah they are difficult for some people) its more of the fact that having a minimum word count seems too homework ish... you should be able to post as you will.. I like the intentions this rule has...just not how its working out.
But yeah join clubs and such... but it still is more about the fact that some social threads aren't classified as worthy when they could hold meaning or there for a good laugh... There has been a lot of times where I loved someone's small post over a large novel. sometimes you can get something said in very little words... and some people just can't... I'm content about not getting EXP from the threads cause I'm used to it..I was just using one of mine as an example..cause it was important but didn't get anything for it and some people might fall into that same problem but actually get mad where as I didn't care.

Agreed with Jack.
Like I said I'll take a look at them, I'll rewrite the rules tomorrow when I have more time and am clear of thought. If you have a thread that's already been denied or approved PM them to me if you want clarity on them be it in favor or against their status's. Please write me a reasoning behind it as well. plz and thank you
