ThemeSo of course it meant little actually going to school today, aside from it being his first legitimate day here. The first of course him ditching out with Farren and crew to do whatever mindless shenanigans they took part in. Or course that night resulted in Guy getting a beating from the in-lady, who he firmly put in the hospital but seconds after his black eye. The black eye of course wasn't because he was a weakling or that he was afraid of hitting someone its just he was normally peaceful. Though all things had their breaking point. Guy Nottingham sat pleasantly in a seat behind the first computer he could get his hands on, the inkling to steal the thing before figuring out it wouldn't just go and fit in his pants pocket and of course there'd be police searching his 'home' there had to be some place to store it. Of course there was the crack home. But then again, Guy wouldn't be going there again, last time he'd lost himself now he was staying clean. All things had to be wiped clean, his past destroyed, everything back to the basics. Branch, branching itself hiding the tower within enclosed as in dreams. Typing away on the computer he compiled about eight haiku's before leaning back with a bored expression, if only there was something more interesting to write about then rocks, trees and waves. *sigh*

Kevala was out and about on the school grounds, it was between classes and as much as she sometimes hated having to go making sure that nobody was messing shit up, it was a never ending duty.
Luckily though she had Kazuya and Jack to help her in the matter and that made things a lot easier.
As she rounded a corner, she noted a guy seated on the ground, laptop open and typing away...Hmm...Skipping? Or was he just like her, between classes? Guess she would have to find out.......
As she got closer, she noticed it was that guy that she had spotted with Farren.....Hmm...Interesting...Noting the black eye as she approached, dressed in a white tank top and a pair black work out pants. Not her usual attire for school but she needed to train with her pillars after classes, so she had just skipped the formal attire.....
"So, no class right now?"
She spoke up as she neared him...her black hair falling down around her as she cast her icy gaze over his frame....Arms coming up to cross over her chest.....Unclear if he knew yet who she was in the school or not, and not really caring....she was just curious how he would answer he question......

"So, no class right now?"
Guy didn't bother to turn around its not like he "needed" to be off to class at any particular moment despite the fact that this "down time" was chewing into his actual literature class. Shrugging slightly he'd begin to open his mouth turning around.
"Umm nah... I just umm," He'd say with an unacquainted tone noting that the girl was the same from the other day though her importance hadn't localized itself in his brain.
"I just didn't feel like I had the time to listen to an old bat rail at me for being trash..." Guy would manage to spur out disgruntled somewhat mixing up his stories with other times he'd been mocked for whatever reason. Being poor, having no family, raggedy cloths.
He'd shrug again turning back to the computer absorbed in his own dilemma from the night before.
"Your mother was obviously a bitch bringing you into a word where your idiocy had no limits!"
Grunting he'd pick at the grass mashing it up with a single hand showing an obvious sign of latent anger just welling beneath the surface. Ignorant to the girl pressing for info.

She grinned at his reply, lowering herself just slightly so that she was almost seated there, her eyes going over him as she rested her arms on her knees, her head tilting slightly.....
"Hmm...I see...Well you know, it is my job to make sure you get your butt to class....."
She nodded, her brow raising slightly as she brushed her tongue over her lips, a slow movement as she kept her focus on him....She honestly didnt care if the kids skipped but if she let things slide then they would see her as a weakness.......Something she honestly could not handle...she had worked too hard to gain the proper pillars to provide her with the kind of services she needed. Granted she still had one to go, but she had yet to find somebody who fit the part.....
No, she was going to make sure that people here at the very least knew she was not as big a push over as her small body and sweet face suggested.....
"So what does that leave me to do here?"
She was more musing to herself then speaking to him at that point, noting the small movements he offered and taking them to memory, noting them and keeping track....the same thing she did with everyone......

"Hmm...I see...Well you know, it is my job to make sure you get your butt to class....."
Guy turned his head towards her trying to keep himself at the very least at neutral however the corners of his lips revealed a small scowl, "Your job?"
Perplexed to a degree he fell back upon what he'd heard in the hallways. The pillars, their order being to keep law and order here in the school. So basically she was a hall monitor here to scoop him up. Then again they were also apparently celebrities here. The captain being Kevala. The name he'd heard by just about every student at the school. How were they chosen though?
"So what does that leave me to do here?"
"Thats up to you, but I'm not going back to class..."
He'd stand up making his show of defiance. If violence was the means by which to suppress him it was either he'd win and stay out of class or the pillar's fabled strength would put him in the hospital. A win-win situation in his book.

Oh! He was fiesty! She could have giggled if she was not too busy with her brow raised and pushing herself to slowly stand. Sure she had to step back, her eyes lifting as she gained another lock on his face with those icy hues...
Her arms crossed over her chest as she put her right foot forward, just a casual stance as she debated if he was insane, ignorant, or just plain fiery.
Either way he was entertaining to say the least...
As she stood there, letting him "defy" her, she grinned and shook her head....
"You really wanna play that game with me tough guy?"
Her arms falling to her side as she locked her eyes on his and stood there waiting.....She wasnt gonna really make him go, but now, it was just a matter of seeing what he would do....Play time!!
"So, gonna go back to class now like a good boy?"
Smiling softly up at him, ever innocent and sweet looking...Nothing like the reputation of her current station would suggest.....

"You really wanna play that game with me tough guy?"
From his sitting position Guy would find the impression that she wasn't going to lay off until he got back to class. Which under the current pretext was something he was wholly unwilling to do.
Turning round to stand in front of her he saw little to be intimidated by, she was smaller than him. Someone must've gotten their facts wrong when they said she was the strongest person in school.
"So, gonna go back to class now like a good boy?"
"No...."
He stood glaring down at her clearly unintimidated, but fighting, he didn't think she'd press forward then again he didn't know her. Things all had their way of turning around to bite you in the ass.

No?....Really? So cute!! She shook her head and sighed softly, looking up into those determined and unwavering eyes. So he really wanted to push it.
Letting out a soft sigh she dropped her eyes and muttered to herself.
"Honestly when will you guys learn?"
Then just like that she spun around, her body shifting so that her back faced him...long enough to slam her elbow back into his gut, most likely knocking the wind out of him, before turning back and facing him, a little growl passing her lips as she spread her feet and developed her fighting stance. That innocent look gone, and now replaced with a determined and forceful glare.
"You have a bad habit of skipping class. Second time that I know of.....Really you should learn to listen..."
She was not in the mood to really fight, but hey whatever, she was not going to be undermined and treated as though she was nothing. She had originally been planning to let it slide one last time, but nuuuu somebody had to go and get all uppity, now here she was, that breeze kicking up about her and her eyes locked on him as she lifted her right hand, her index finger crooking to motion him forward....
"Then come on big guy....Let me see it."
He wanted to fight, then he better bring it all, because she wasn't gonna let him have it easy.

"Honestly when will you guys learn?"
The subtle feeling of victory rushing through him as Guy saw her turn away. He'd won he'd really beaten the School Captain with just his words what a victory no way. A sharp pain shot in his gut then stretching out through his body until he could assimilate where the pain had come from.
"guh..."
"You have a bad habit of skipping class. Second time that I know of.....Really you should learn to listen..."
Guy would fall to his knees a hand supporting his upper body while the other clenched his gut. No way she was capable of such power. It was impossible, he'd never felt anything like it. What a rush.
"Then come on big guy....Let me see it."
Pressing the pain aside Guy remained where he was knowing only though external senses where she was. In front of him less than an inch out of reach. And he had to win it all using underhanded tactics or rather play the game of a ground fighter.
Guy would lean forward his left hand still holding his gut intact would nudge his elbow out sharply jutting at her inner knee cap. The force nowhere by comparison to her strike but it was an applied motion, his right hand popping up to outwardly swing at her other kneecap. The simultaneous force if accomplished would bring her down to his level where he'd come up off his knees using the dome of his head to uppercut her chin.
Where he was nowhere as strong or fast as she he'd play towards his better forces, the mind.

She stood there, eyes locked on him as he went down, a grin on her lips as she felt the need to continue rise from him. Good..Good....
Every move he made was registered and processed through her overactive mind, a good side effect of her ADHD....hehe.....Then he moved, his first strike missing as she simply took a step back with that leg, avoiding the hit of his shoulder, the second catching her and causing her to growl as a light pain shot through her.
But it was just enough to cause her knee to give some, not completely.
The third attack he wouldnt get to deliver however, because she would bring the leg he had missed out and slam her knee into the bridge of his nose, hopefully sending him back onto his back, if not then at the very least upright.
Either way he would soon feel a booted foot into his chest cavity, looking to send a sudden shudder through his heart and the rest of his body, along with trying to cause damage, see how far this kid would take it to fight her.......
"That all you got? Come on. You started this, now lets finish."
Taking a jump back to allow him to get up, waiting, almost giddy with happiness at the prospect of what was to come. Unless he did like all the others, and laid there, unwilling to continue......

He missed? Of all things she was perceptive as well, unfortunate by all means seeing as he valued himself as a worthy fighter but now was in a separate league apparently something he didn't measure up to which was in its own right very disheartening but in the same right very provocative. To be better, become better and ascend where he'd once fallen short those were ambitions that would drive him to be better here if that meant he'd need to fight a loosing battle than so be it. A clash to the nose split it sending a rush of blood to the impact crater spilling a thin layer over his shirt. his only shirt for that matter. A grimace in pain as the kick throttled him to his flank sending pain coursing through him. It'd been awhile since he'd felt pain this intense and it was something that couldn't be avoided but Guy was more than that the pain he felt now signaled something to his brain, he was alive. "That all you got? Come on. You started this, now lets finish."From his patch on the grass he could manage two thoughts, step out or step in. The latter being the only one recognizable even at the profuse woman's taunting persona. She was taunting him, trying to get a rise out that much he knew, but he didn't care for the woman, he never even know her long enough for her to effect him. To get beneath the skin would take coercive work. something most teens were incapable of. *grunt*The show of pain when he stood was obvious but it signaled a form of inner strength to stand up when beaten. For he didn't give up, not tapping out this go. His body limp, chest inflamed, heart jostling to pump that very necessary blood to places it mattered the right hand pressing his body to a stand as the left clamped down on his chest where the pain had been. He'd send the pain below."K'mon!" A feral call from his lower throat an animal call he'd used so many times in the wild. His hands would jerk out jostling calling for her to strike him again. What a masochist.

She had to admit the kid had spunk..heh...reminded her a lot of herself when she fought Gabriel. Yet at the same time, this was her, and yeah she was nothing like the one who had taught her....
So when he called her on, she bowed her head in acceptance and took off at him, getting a few feet before him before she dropped down, her left leg swinging out as she spun about, trying to take him off his feet.
If this worked, then she would hop back up in time to deliver a hard kick to his ribs, trying to send him away from her as best she could.....
If the kick missed then she would come back up with her fist slamming in an uppercut into his gut and the other coming up to jab into his face once more. Exploit the weakness. Always a sure way to go.

It was evident to see that her attacks weren't her own as her bold forward strike and leg lash seemed to be better suited for someone who was taller and perhaps a longer reach. But who was Guy to judge remember he was getting his ass kicked by the tiny girl. In her ambitious charge Guy would take a half step back buying him but a second to analyse where she was going and thankfully due to her rather short stature he was able to differentiate the strike leaping at the last minute over her and being so ambitious himself as to throw his right leg to kick her in the face as he did so.
But like all great ambitious warrior it would seem as though that very same ambition would be his own undoing as she'd meet him with an uppercut strike to his gut just below the ribs. The shock wave meeting with a sudden crack feeling the fracturing of bones as he went airborne landing in the patch of grass he'd been but seconds before.
"Fuck me..." He'd growl in a low tone finding it hard to breath as he rolled over the left hand clasping his ribs as his right tried to lift his body up again.
He was a stubborn fool to get up again, just lie down and take it was the mentality, run away to fight again another day. Must've been that low IQ rating he'd score in class if he'd undoubtedly went today.
"You hit like a girl.." He'd say jokingly laughing to himself with a grimace of pain as he found it hard to laugh.

Upon his first statement she giggled and shook her head.
"Hmm..nah sorry got plenty of that at already...Not that you are not cute in your own way or anything...just I go for the darker types."
She then watched him rise once more.....a little grin tugging at her lips at his last comment.....
"Yup...a girl thats kicking your ass."
Her tone bouncy and happy almost.....She was having fun, even if he wasnt putting up too much of a fight, the few times he had hit her so far did sting, but yeah.....it was nothing too bad.....
Going at him again she dashed up to him, slamming her fist into his face while her knee came up to his ribs, her hand that she had yet to use, now coming up and slamming into his chest to send him back once more.....

A sturdy grin in place, well she's having fun so why not enjoy yourself I mean, You're only getting your ass kicked. Shaking his head peevishly he'd stand upright ready again putting up a keen smirk without hesitation awaiting her to strike where he'd bounce easily enough on his toes to try and take focus off his ribs. For the rest of this fight he'd need to favor the rest of his body and make sure she didn't beat there further.
As she came at him very direct again Guy ducked under her strike using his shoulder to shield the force of the blow only succeeding in numbing the arm itself. As he'd roll around the outside of her to use his right elbow to smack the back of her head. If she was going strong enough he'd likely be able to get a hit on her of course that was being optimistic. If he was as good a fighter as he thought himself to be she'd go face first into where he'd been laying just awhile ago. But that was for hoping.
"K'mon Cap'n lets put a spin on things."
Guy was never a betting man, though he was a squirrelly fellow. And often it was that type alone that could go under the radar and bring out the things people hid the most.
"How bout we make a deal, I win I get to be a pillar, You win I'll Consider going to class," Guy would joke. It was pretty obvious how the game would turn out but no point in taking it like a dog.
