Aleece's attention was on Ari intently once more when she saw him shifting to stand up, her deeply set chocolate colored eyes hooded with her own good amount of concern. As he approached she straightened in her spot a little, she wasn't nervous about him or how she felt about him...it was just a little more then she could even properly think about and sort herself. She knew what she wanted though, and it was to continue being right here, so when Ari reached out and brushed his fingers across her cheek, Aleece leaned into the touch just as lightly - just a tilt of her head.
She knew she could trust herself to Ari, completely...she wouldn't have gotten better if he hadn't come back, after all. For a second she crushed any lingering and self insecurity trying to crop up, but returned the small smile with a rather coy one of her own. Leaning in, her forehead rested lightly against his, her hands coming up to either side of his face, her nose brushing against his, while her lips hovered out of reach.
What he said was nothing but the truth, she knew it - any other time she was a relatively confident individual, not questioning herself and what she was capable of doing on most things. "I'm not nervous about how I feel," Aleece started, her fingers sliding down, one hand stopping just under his jaw, exhaling softly her smile dropping, before pulling back up at her lips. "I just wonder why sometimes? I'm sure anyone else wouldn't have given you nearly as much grief as I have about things."
Aleece, at this point really wasn't sure where her complexes and hangs up came from - she was from a loving home, had grown up not wanting for anything, hell she'd never even seen or heard her parents arguing. They, on a daily basis, told each other that they loved one another, and she had been exposed to an environment where family was a major thing, this sort of close bond was important. "But I'm not lying to you, Ari," she continued, her tone firming a bit with the conviction that she meant it.
Maybe it was the fact she really didn't know what she'd do with herself if he did leave for what ever reason, she was a little overwhelmed to think she was relying on him that much to get by. But he had made it all to easy for her to fall into that catch 22.

Ari waited patiently, a small smile curling at the corner of his lips as he felt Aleece tilt her cheek lightly against his coarse palm. He cherished the moment, putting it firmly to memory. The feel of her skin soft against his coarsely trained hand, the sense of warmth that the small sign of affection filled him with. As she leaned her forehead against his he slowly let his eyes close, focusing on the sound of her voice, the gentle breath across his lips.
But he couldn't help but wonder why her smile faltered after she stated her confidence in how she felt. He titled his head slightly, feeling a hand brushing across his jaw, smoothly shaven that morning. Allowing himself a light sigh he couldn't help but wonder why it was so hard for her to accept his love of her and her presence. Of course he had only a single leg to stand on, he had told her only a handful of times the way he viewed her. But he was a man who showed frequently his affection through physical affection and the acts he took for her well being.
But finally her tone had grown firm, and although the words seemed unfitting for the purpose of their conversation it had the affect she sought. Ari was comforted in that moment, that his affections and actions meant the world to her. With a faint smile crossing his lips he tilted his head, curving his neck forward so he could place a gentle kiss to her lips. Without pause he would stand and playfully roll her to her side, so her back would be to him.
Ari would raise one knee up onto the bed, only to pull the other up along behind it, a hand resting firmly on the bed lowering his upper body down along with the lower. With his right arm he would rest his hand on her stomach, his wrist on her side, as he would help her roll back to rest along her back instead of on her side. Looking down on her, resting on his forearm to do so, he couldn't help a bright smile.
"I must be a good influence on you, Fontecilla. Mere months ago such words would have had your skin," He brought his hand up her side and let the tips of his fingers brush lightly across her cheek as he paused his words, "Flushing to a shy pink."

Even though a lot might not have been said, it was enough, a reassurance in the timber, and weight that carried further then flowery sentiment ever would. Her eyes had fallen half way shut due to their closeness but she saw every reaction, the slight curve of his lips, felt and heard the sigh right back against her lips. The only point when she did cut her view short of Ari was when he leaned in, his mouth brushing against hers lightly in such a way that it made her stomach clench warmly that pushed up into her chest.
When he urged her back, he wasn't met with an ounce of resistance, instead she went with it, her body pliant under the familiar feel of his hands and gestures. In the next instance when she was opening her eyes to look up at him, on her back and with him hovering over here, Aleece smiled slowly - easily. Her eyes fluttering, her head turning slightly nonetheless at the brush of his fingers over her cheek. At his teasing words, she felt herself heating up, but not enough to cause maybe a noticeably blush against her dusky skin tone.
Letting out a light breath her grin was still firmly in place, she moved her hand up again, her fingers curling around the back of his neck, threading through the shorter ends of his hair - her other moving up along his side, sneaking the fabric of his shirt up.
"I'm sure there are still a few things that can get the same result," she said almost carelessly, but her town lowered - so no matter how playful her words seemed, the drop in her tone clued him in to something more.
As the hand curling under the hem of his shirt pushed up, her nails scratched lightly along the skin of his abdomen, feeling the defined dips under taut skin - enjoying it to herself almost shamelessly. It just wasn't quite enough for Aleece though so without much thought about it she shifted to her side as well, her fingers still making a steady climb up, as she moved her other arm back down to support herself on her elbow much like he was, the space between them substantially shortened.
Easily she worked one leg over his his, the other between a little - if there was any other thing Ari had done for Aleece, it was take away her inhibitions about the more intimate aspects of their relationship. In fact...she quite thoroughly enjoyed just this very thing, the closeness, the feel and touch; the taste and sounds...anything she could think of really that would entice or capture or sense.

Ari loved the fact that even now he could make her noticeably blush at his words and touches, and it showed in his wide smile as her skin heated under his touch when he brushed his fingers across her cheek. But her maturity showed in the way she grinned in response, reciprocating the touch, and finally threaded them against his hair.
Staying still he glanced downward, feeling her hand slowly sneaking the fabric of his tee shirt upward, her skin slipping along the dips and rises of his toned muscle, the tips of her nails brushing along so lightly that they made only the briefest white lines. In response a small wave of movement brushed past each muscle, nearly tickled by the light touch.
One hand slid softly down the from her cheek, smoothly the material of her shirt along her side, until his hand rested on the subtle curve of her side. Seeing what she had in mind he slipped the hand down to her back, his wrist resting on her side as he aided her forward movement by pulling her closer.
If that wasn't enough of a hint for him, he couldn't ignore the way her tone dropped a shade, and her playful words took on a distinct meaning. With a soft grin he pulled the leg farthest straight, bent just enough to allow her to easily slip one of her legs through his own, while the other slipped over.
Ari shifted his knee forward, bending his leg as he let the flexing muscle of his thigh to press intimately against her. Without pause he would lean down and let his lips rest on the side of her neck, breathing softly as he brushed them softly down to rest just under her earlobe.
Now that she was so close to him he mimicked her earlier movements, smoothly slipping his hand down her back and under the bottom stitching of her top, dragging the material up slowly with the pads of his fingers brushing smoothly against the curve of her side.
