Aleece sat in the living room of the small, quaint and quite comfortable, one bedroom one bath apartment, accommodating just enough for herself, Ari, and King. Currently she sat at the small round dinning room table, which was nestled in the corner of the even smaller kitchen – her laptop out and running hot. Which, it did most days.
She didn’t know when she had started this. Lying to her parents, but they certainly didn’t know about Ari, or rather that she was living with the boy. True he was eighteen now, and she was about to turn the legal adult consenting age herself very soon, but as it was, her folks were pretty much in the dark about…everything. And who was she to mess with a good thing? They thought she was living dorm side, she got her freedom, she went home sometimes on the weekends and on holidays, they didn’t ask questions.
Comfortable and barefooted, King laid under the table as customary, one leg was pulled up and bent right in front of her so she could rest her chin on top of it the other hung down as she lightly pushed her foot over the rather large dogs stomach. He seemed to enjoy the mock belly rub – which was done in the laziest way possible as Aleece continued to peck at her keyboard.
Intermittently the cherry flavored blow pop in her mouth was pushed from one side to the other, bulging her cheek out as she worked. Registration to start at PHS 774 tomorrow was already done, what she was doing now was finding information on anyone that went to the school and would be a concern. It was definitely different then the military structured academy they had just left, and she understood Ari’s need to want to be prepared.
The security in the schools firewalls were a joke, she had gotten through and been barely paying attention, so every students file had been at the tips of her fingers. Right now she was waiting on Ari to join her, from where ever it was he was at, so she could go over everything she had found. Until then she leaned back in her seat, her foot falling away from King so she could stand and stretch.
The click of his nails on the linoleum sounded off smartly when he scrambled to get up following behind her closely. Gripping the slim white stick hanging from her mouth she pulled the candy from between her lips and ran her tongue along the inside of her cheeks, with another small stretch, an arch of her back before she resumed her short walk to the fridge opening it so she could bend at the waist and inspect the food stuff they had…

Ari was pleased with the position of their newest apartment. The layout was more or less the same as their first, just with a bit more ground for the dog to cover. There was more then enough room to roam outside, but he didn't want him going crazy and start destroying the apartment. He didn't have that kind of income to be throwing it away on furniture that King would destroy. Although that was just a precaution, the dog took to training well, and became protector and companion to Aleece.
Convinced everything was fine and he had a good sense of the area, making it all the easier for him if he ever needed to navigate it on the run or at night. Aleece occasionally pestered him about being paranoid, especially in the beginning, but it did nothing to stem his trained instincts. Know your surroundings, lay out the exits, know where is safe, and when your heart rate spikes into the black zone you won't have to think you can just act.
Rubbing his neck as he came up to the door he did have to admit that it was a bit tedious every now and then. Luckily his memory was good enough that he would only need to do it once or twice more before he would have it engraved perfectly in his memory. In the mean time he was just glad to be at his front door, which he unlocked and opened quietly, intending to test both Aleece and King.
Ari silent closed the door and carefully slid forward, finding Aleece bent at the waist in search for something in the fridge. King's ears picked up on his entrance before Aleece, but a firm motion of it's master's hand kept it from moving from it's spot. The dog was well trained, but was not playful around him, as he clearly held the alpha position in the house and he never let the dog question that fact. He could still see the dog looking at him pitifully out of his peripheral vision, clearly wanting to greet him.
But it stayed quiet until he was a foot behind Aleece, letting his last footsteps fall normally. "What are you looking for?" He would ask casually as he stepped forward, letting himself bump lightly against her as he leaned forward and glanced over her shoulder. Were she to look up she would find his lips curled smoothly into a smile.

Aleece was finding nothing good that appealed to what she wanted at the moment. She still had her weakness for junk and at the moment it was in full swing, a craving for anything at the moment that wasn't fresh fruit and veggies (which was currently in full stock in front of her) hitting her. Making a face at the healthy food she silently swore she wasn't letting Ari do the shopping again. At least she would pick up the coco puffs...
Tapping the end of the stick that her sucker was on against the fridge where her hand was propped up against she contemplated her options. There was sour cream in front of her, and french onion soup mix - that she knew of - in the cabinet. All she'd have to do was whip the two together, and she was pretty sure there was still a half a bag of Wavy Lays still stashed somewhere.
Aleece just didn't know if she wanted to take the effort to make it. With a sigh she was about to straighten, turn to King and ask him in that same false excited tone she always used with him - if he wanted to go for a walk. Her intent was that she was going to go down to the nearest place she could find and buy the greasiest heart stopping burger she could. Since Ari had started training her, her diet had seemingly changed with it, and she didn't' know how she felt about that one...
However before she could straighten properly she felt/heard someone stepping right up behind her a little to late. Before the feel of that familiar physique bumped against her, her heart seemed to jump right into her chest from surprise, her hand had gripped the edge of the Frigidaire, "Mierda," she cursed, before the tension drained completely leaving her to hang her head while he stood there, his question left lingering in the air.
Finally she lifted her head but kept her slightly bent posture, running her tongue over her teeth before replacing the sucker. "Well, if you must know..." she started finally able to gather herself enough to talk, a grin tugging to her lips despite having just having the hell scared out of her. Looking to the side enough to catch a glimpse at him out of her peripheral, she raised an eyebrow, "I am sick of eating like a rabbit."
Straightening, the movement more then likely made Ari do the same and she turned in her spot her arms slipping around his waist as she looked up through her eyelashes at him, in a pleading look, but holding over exaggerated theatrics to it. "I need some fat in my diet. Something unhealthy, a french fry? Something...chocolaty perhaps?"
True...she had never been in better shape before, but god if she just wanted to completely ruin herself by pigging out on a juicy double whopper or something. Also a bonus...she had learned how to cook for them pretty damn quick - though Ari had been a good sport suffering through the first couple meals...burnt, tasteless, over seasoned and all...

Ari let himself continue to wear the smile confidently, seeing clearly just how much he had surprised her. Of course he doubted she was have flash backs he knew he shocked her, but he had meant to. Despite his playful mood he was also making a point, that she still needed to be a bit more aware of her surroundings. But of course she was still new to the game of survival the way he knew it, and he never expected her to construct the instincts he had in only a year, which was half the reason he had planned on buying her a companion, King.
The curse she released was only the cherry on top, keeping his smile healthy.
When she glanced back at him he noticed the change in her tone and inwardly sighed, already guessing she was going through one of her moods. He had found out some time ago that she absolutely hated eating the bare essentials, the healthy food that would keep her capable of training, not to mention healthy. Generally things had been pretty smooth, other then the first few days of stomaching some rather brutal meals that she had concocted for him. But she couldn't shake her need to splurge on junk food like she used to.
But when she got the urge to snack, her addiction, she became too impatient to cook. Aleece in that mood just wanted a quick fatty food that would fill her quickly and tasted as good as anything that would take twenty minutes to prepare. And although his cooking was passable it usually didn't do the trick, it was hard to simulate the same taste as as a cheese burger or fried food in a small apartment while staying moderately healthy.
Stepping back he straightened himself out, making it possible for Aleece to do the same. After she turned she wasted no time he slipping her arms around his waist, embracing him warmly as she looked up at him. Ari wore the smile a moment longer, before he let it slip as he took a deep breath, looking like he was about to remind her that they had plenty of food as it was. But when he glanced down more pointedly he found her looking pleadingly up at him. King had nothing on Aleece when she wanted junk food.
"Fine, but if we're going we are running there," He said with a resigned sigh, moving an arm smoothly around her waist. With his hand pressing carefully he lifted her up off her toes and turned, bumping his free hand to close the refrigerator door. King had quickly slipped out of the way before he caught one of Aleece's heels on his muzzle, and Ari settled her down onto her feet lightly. The movement was quick and fluid, reversing the positions as well as closing the door, after which he loosened his hold and bent to press his lips to her forehead. It couldn't hurt to loosen up occasionally.

It took a lot for Aleece to keep the over begging look, the subtle pout until after she saw him cave, but just seeing him mentally give in wouldn't be enough - she waited for his verbal confirmation before a smile spread across her lips. Her teeth caught her bottom lip subduing the pleased look of getting her way, of course with the stipulation, which she could easily adhere to.
"I can do that," Tightening her arms around him she let herself be picked up and turned quickly, noting that he managed to close the refrigerator door as he did so.
At the prospect of actually going to get some fast food, nearly had Aleece bouncing in her spot slightly, her eyes closing though when she felt Ari land a kiss to her forehead. Reaching for the sucker once more - one that she had managed to draw out her enjoyment of - she pulled away smiling. She wasn't going to bother with changing into something else, already in a pair of red track shorts and a white ribbed tank top all she had to do was grab her shoes.
"Lemme just do a few things and we can go," she said her brain spurring on, as she walked back to the table bending over to grab the computer bag she had left sitting out - and dig out the Hp Pocket computer, along with the USB cable. Slipping the it cord int he appropriate ports, Aleece quickly saved a few files and transferred the files, after the device was detected. Rounding the table, her fingers drumming across the wood as she passed and walked to the door to grab up her running shoes a pair of no show ankle socks stuck in them.
She made quick work of putting them on and by the time she returned to her handy little gizmos everything was ready, holding it up in Ari's direction in a gesturing motion, "I've got some useful stuff for you. We'll talk it over while I get some actual food."
Not bothering with a shut down of her laptop, she pushed it closed, disconnected the cable from the compact device, and heading for the door, grabbing the leash off the hook - the sound of the metal tinkling together sending King trotting toward her. It was habitual to bring the dog everywhere now, no matter where she went, save for school. Taking the time to get the leash clasp to his collar she waited on Ari.

Aleece announced she was willing to run to the nearest fast food place. It obviously wasn't hard to convince her, he suspected she wanted to run to the nearest fast food joint with or without his urging. When she went over to power down her equipment Ari decided he would change, his outfit had turned out to be warmer then he was comfortable with. Thinking back he remembered that most of his attire for the first few months in California, which had been cooler, he wore heavier clothes then just about everyone else to compensate for his usual comfort in temperatures in the low hundreds in a dryer desert. Walking to the bedroom while the computers whirred about their work on the table Ari went rolled his shoulders and pulled off the light jacket he had pulled on when he left earlier in the morning. Tossing it onto the bed he went to the closet, adjacent to the bathroom door, and skipped through a few shirts until he finally found a light tee. The shirt was dropped on the bed as well as he reached to his waist and quickly pulled the shirt up over his head and threw it to the hamper in the far corner of the room. On his way back into the kitchen he was still pulling on the shirt, dragging the hem of his shirt down along his toned torso as his head poked through and gazed out at Aleece as she gestured in his direction. Raising his brown he tugged the shirt down completely, rolling his neck as he became curious as to what she had found that would be useful. Deciding he would find out sooner he just smiled and walked to the front door, opening it while Aleece went about the ritual of picking up the leash and hooking it to King's collar. Ari stepped out side, his arm resting along the outside of the door, holding it open for her with a charming smile. "Let's go and feed your addiction before I change my mind."

Of course Aleece had managed to enjoy the view of the bare torso that had been casually covered in no particular rush as Ari had walk out of the bedroom, her stare lingering. She continued to smile a little relinquishing to the light tugging on the leash when the door was opened and held for her. Passing by in a slow canter, she laughed lightly at his comment as her hand brushed up his abdomen and chest, her fingers briefly passing over his neck to just under jaw, "you do this to make me happy...and so you can keep getting some."
With that said she didn't wait for him to close and lock the door she was trailing behind King as he trotted down the walkway to the parking lot toward the road - though she knew it wouldn't take him long. With a little bit of pressure on the leas she held the overly excitable dog to wait, pausing and looking over to see Ari coming up behind her. King always seemed to just act like a puppy around her while Ari...always managed to subdue him.
Nonetheless, she might have readily agreed to the terms of running to get that burger with a side of fries that she wanted, but Aleece honestly didn't know if she'd be able to make the return trip with the same enthusiasm. She didn't have to look at him in question or even ask if he was ready, or be spurred on to do it. After nearly a year of this she was pretty much used to these little kind of things, and yes...he did generally - always - intend for her to do them.
So starting off, at an easy but heart elevating tempo, Aleece saw fit to set the pace since he hadn't been clear of what kind of run he wanted. With the pocket computer already on and running with the files she had transferred on the screen she handed it over, "dossiers on the schools pillars, and other points of interest outside of them - or connected to them."
She had gotten quite good at multitasking like this, and she decided to start this off now because she didn't particularly know if she was going to be in the mood while she ate or later...for that matter. Never knew what kind of distractions to expect.

Ari raised his brow slightly as Aleece sauntered past him, reminding him of just how much she had matured in the past year. He could remember a time when he would tease her, trailing his fingertips across her collar bone and neck lightly, and would watch with joy as she would squirm and flush. Now she was the one giving him that teasing but affection touch, his response to grin and let his brow raise slightly in response, giving a brief nod in response. It was to make her happy, even if she had to pout to convince him this time around, although he was pretty convinced that she knew 'getting some' was secondary in his mind. A close second, but still.
Once she had slipped past him, and the dog was well on his way, Ari closed the door. His hand moved with practiced precision to the lock, pressed the key in, twisted it into the locked position, and quickly pocketed the keys. When he turned and started walking to where she had waited him, and without needing to urge her on she turned and began to lightly jog on ahead of him. Ari picked up his pace enough that he would easily gain the ground between them, and then would match his pace to hers easily. It was an easy pace, but it would speed up the time getting to food, and would be a good way to burn some energy along the way.
As they jogged along the cement sidewalk she offered him the pocket computer, which he reached out and took with his right hand, holding it at the height of his collar bone so he could keep his peripheral vision on where he was going as he read. His fingertip tapped casually through one dossier after another, the three current pillars at the school laid out with their base information, age, grade, the norms. He suspected Aleece could find more, given time, but for now he was glad with the base information.
Smiling he trailed his eyes up from the screen to her. "Mm, so that's what you were doing since breakfast." Ari glanced back down to the screen and began pondering a few things. Now that he was about to be transferred in and his first day at the new campus was closing in he had a set of decisions to make. Would he challenge the power structure as he had done at the Academy, or would he opt to take a quieter path, simply look out for himself and his own, namely Aleece. While the dossier didn't give him the answers to those questions, it did give him a strong starting point, and he wouldn't be caught off guard.
"Seems like an interesting bunch. I can't help but wonder if they are worth the effort, though."

When she handed the compact device over, Aleece concentrated on her running, already familiar - having memorized the faced and names on it. She let him go over everything she had managed to put together, having done so with the intentions of being aware, rather then actually do anything. Having already experience what would happen with this sort of thing she wasn't to worried about the structure of it...it would probably cave in on itself, as well - like had happened before.
They just didn't get that it didn't work, no matter how many different ways or where they tried to implement it. Looking to the side at his comment, the passing observation, but not really finding it was asked in question. "Whether they are worth the effort isn't the question." She said casually, her breathing a little deepened but far from winded at this point, "but they are worth the interest."
Her tone suggestion caution in the respect of perhaps not repeating the same thing as the previous year. Flash bags and smashing a couple kids faces in? Definitely a show stopper, but not so great if you wanted to lay low. And Aleece wanted to remain below the radar this go round. "Regardless I got that information so you would know who to avoid," she said stressing the word, turning a corner smoothly and shaking her hair out of her face as she did - having forgotten to put it up before heading out. "Especially that Kevela Katashi..." The schools captain and who seemed to be just a touch more then bat shit crazy.
"From what I can gather, which I have more on the laptop at home...this place is like a snake, eating its own tail. I don't think it'll need any help consuming itself."
There wasn't to much telling when it came to the stability of the things at 774, and she didn't necessarily want to do anything to test it either. She was passively aggressive about the entire situation. Also, there was a local gang, though their cause or purpose were very unclear, one thing that she had noticed as a reoccurring theme though was the name Seran - like a bad infestation they were everywhere in the area.

Ari glanced to his side where Aleece jogged, the leash leash rested in her grasp having a good bit of slack as the dog lead only a bit ahead, suddenly curious what her intention was when she gave him access to the information. When she informed him that she was thinking more along the lines of if they were worthy of note, rather then worthy of action, and he could only nod. None of them had done anything to him, and he felt no real need to test them.
It seemed like the fact he didn't take to the thought of testing each of them would've been comfortable to Aleece, as she wasted no time in mentioning that the reason she gathered the intelligence on the current student hierarchy simply to avoid direction confrontation. But all the same there was something to be said for knowing your enemy intimately, although Ari would keep that thought to himself for the moment, allowing her the comfort of an acknowledging nod.
While turning the corner he noticed that they were covering ground a bit faster then the casual pace she began, he wondered if that was because she was nervous about the pillar system of if it was because her stomach was driving her forward. Ari tapped the screen into standby and reached it out toward her once the corner had been turned, his breathing spaced out to be deeper between each stride, but still looking and feeling comfortable with the pace.
"Then the problem would be how many jackals want to gnaw at the snake before it can finish itself."

When they finished rounding the corner, Ari's movement caught her eye and without turning her head to look at him completely she reached out and took the pocket computer. Delving her eyes down momentarily she pulled it from the sleeping mode it was in and clicked a new folder a chuckle falling off her lips as she tried to keep up the steady rhythm though her pace progressively got a little fast.
"Apparently quite a few..." she muttered brushing her thumb over the touch screen to roll the pages down to look briefly over everything she already knew was there. "Uriel and Gabriel Seran- related, apparently hate each other. From what I got? They are both involved in this school captain, Katashi. Now...she has a kid," here she did almost falter, but instead just slowed down a bit, her interesting absorbing back into what she had dug up. "Can you imagine? Having a kid at nineteen?"
Her tone suggested that the girl had done nothing but waist her time and burdened herself unnecessarily. To be a parent at that age was...well it was kind of a stupid move. With a mental shake she refused to let herself get off track, as she went on her feet slowing to a brisk walk, "anyways, hospital records show...the kids name is Ezekiel, the name of the father, " with clicking noise of her tongue her eyebrows raised as she refreshed her memory on the information scrolling down some more.
"Nathanial, I'll give you three guesses what his last name is," she finished flatly. "He wasn't to hard to find either, seeing as how he is apparently a very successful business owner, making rather lucrative killing in running a nightclub. For being a bunch of rich kids? They aren't to worried about who knows anything about their personal information."
Lowering the PC Aleece finally looked over to Ari an eyebrow raised in all seriousness, the lights of the more populated and alive sections of where they live lighting up everything around them. "They made it plenty easy to find anyways," she went on anyway even as she headed in the direction of the first place she noticed, the Jack in the Box. "They don't just have money and connections making them a danger, they are certifiably clinical...every single one of them. I wouldn't suggest doing anything to get caught up with them. At all..."
Of course she knew she couldn't tell Ari to do anything, and he might just continue to humor her with his accepting silence but she recognized the look in his eyes, telling her quite the opposite of his complacent act. There was a difference between the sort of calculating and cold that she found Ari could be - a survivalist, and just being nutter then an elephant turd like she was seeing in all these profiles.

Quite a few jackals? Wonderful, that would either be entirely frustrating or endlessly entertaining, depending on how he decided to handle the new school. He was still debating his prospects while he jogged down along the sidewalk, noting that the dog was starting to get progressively more excited as he started to move out further ahead of them then he was meant too. For that he poor behavior he would clear his throat loudly and watch as the dog would glance back and start to slow down a bit, his influence clearly more strict then Aleece's.
Then Aleece began to lay out what she had discovered from her morning hacking session, which he had to admit was rather impressive. Some details he gained he found rather distasteful, such as the fact the School Captain already had a child at such a young age. There was a lot of his heritage he dismissed or disagreed with, but it was simple foolishness to have a child so young, and he couldn't imagine who would give a position of power to someone so clearly irresponsible. With a slight shake of his head he would sigh, already disappointed with what he had heard thus far.
He was also somewhat perturbed that much of the students that stood out seemed to share the same blood line. It felt too reminiscent to his youth, and instead of delving down into those bitter memories he shifted his focus to another interesting subject. Somehow he had inadvertently found himself with his own intelligence agent, feeding him information on a location before he infiltrated. The thought made him grin as he glanced to Aleece, who while always a skilled runner could not have kept up with him so easily only a year ago. It seemed to him in that moment that they complimented each other more then he had realized.
Before he could voice such he was momentarily distracted by how she defined them. Certifiably insane, was what he got out of her wording, and in that moment he had to pause for a moment of reflection. The fact that he wanted to confront one of them individually, discover enough about them to ascertain their personality and the threat they would pose, was that his survival instincts flaring or was he too not entirely sane? He had a hard time deciding and the conflict would be clear in his expression as they neared the scent of an In and Out, seemingly what had drawn King forward, while he tried to decide if he was being motivated by his survivalist tendencies or not.

When she didn't get a response or even a straight look for the information she was handing over Aleece's brown furrowed slightly, not liking that continued look - like he was entertaining an idea she more then likely wouldn't agree about. Basically no feed back and she was left to wonder if he even got it - which she was sure he had, but with a sigh she dropped it, done for now. She'd let him have everything else she'd found out about, which included Trinity, their supposed territory and what she guessed their reason for operation was - though to be honest she didn't now for sure.
Lifting a hand to rub her fingers flat between her brow as she ducked her head down a little and followed Ari toward the In and Out, letting King sort of tug her along, she continued to wonder how the school year was going to turn out. Pausing out side the establishment, Aleece secured the dogs leash around one of the leg of the stone bench and tables near the door, giving him a good view of both the the entrance and through the window.
Aleece figured by this point, it was just best to drop the subject completely even though she was still left feeling uncomfortable that she felt like her point hadn't been made...or totally absorbed maybe. Nonetheless when she stepped in to the burger joint, she felt her stomach cramp up in hunger, her mouth twinge and water...and all from just the smell.
It was going to be delicious, probably the best fast food burger she had had to date. And she didn't even need to look over the menu to know what she was getting - more often then not if Ari went with her to get a burger it was at an In -N - Out. Walking up to the counter, taking a few deep breathes to even out her heart rate, Aleece smoothed her hands over her hips as she stood in front of the counter.
"Let me get a single, animal style, with a coke please," side stepping out of the way so Ari could step up and make his own order, her stomach continuing to grind against itself in irritation and telling her she was hungry for this.

Ari didn't realize just how much his silence was affecting Aleece, so drawn into his thoughts that he was basically running on automatic, matching his pace with her as he stayed next to her with the use of his peripheral vision. It wasn't until they were coming upon the burger joint that he regained his focus. Pulling up next to the bench he glanced back at Aleece, realizing that he had effectively ignored her while he had become lost in his thoughts.
Determined to remedy that once they had their food he watched as she secured King, who whined once before lowering himself down onto his stomach, looking up at them pathetically. Shaking his head he turned and went inside the establishment along side Aleece, standing out of the way as she hurried to the counter to order. A small smile formed on his lips at the way she ordered, remembering how she had once laid out exactly what she wanted before she found out she could do it with three words instead.
Once she had ordered he stepped up and tapped his knuckles onto the counter, leaning forward slightly as he placed his own. "Just a number two and a large. I'll be paying for her as well," Ari added with a motion of his head to the left, where Aleece stood, impatiently waiting for her food. Smirking he reached into his wallet and pulled out the appropriate amount of money, sliding it across the counter as two large disposable cups were placed in front of him. Ari took one and held it out to Aleece, the other his own.
Once she had taken it he would turn back to the counter, where he was handed a number, and then would head off to the soda fountain. With more then enough room for both of them to take the drink of their choice Ari filled his cup with ice, and then with Mtn Dew, before he turned and spotted a booth they could take. With a hand coming to rest at the low of Aleece's back he leaned down and rested his chin on her shoulder, kissing her cheek softly. "Go on outside, I'll wait for the food."

Aleece was a bit anxious to get her food; she was hungry for one, the jog over doing its job in making her body burn energy and carbs, forcing it to want to refuel, even if she was going to do it anyways. Leaning a hip her hip against the counter as she waited on Ari to place her order most of her weight settled on her right foot, and her left leg bent slightly so her foot merely rested there. With her wrist pressed into the counter she watched two cups pulled out and him pay - her left heel making the rather keen rhythm of bouncing up and down as she waited.
When she was finally handed over the paper sturdy to go cup, she followed Ari right over to the fountain machine, getting ice and going for a plain coke like she wanted to begin with. Tacking a lid on it and grabbing a straw she turned just in time to feel, a hand on her lower back making her pause. Looking to the side after the kiss that was brushed against her cheek, she smiled a little and nodded, "alright." Doing just as he had urged, she made her way out, only to be greeted by a low whine from King, obviously not liking that he was tied up.
"Aw," Aleece breathed, her lips pursing - feeling bad for even having done that to him in the first place, so taking pity she made her way over and sat down undoing the leash and letting him setting his head in her lap - finding that even though not restrained really he hadn't moved. Running her head over his black, tan, and white head, she stopped every few strokes to scratch his ears to which he leaned into...obviously enjoying.
Picking up her drink she took a slow and almost thoughtful pull from it, the fizzy carbonation felt sharply going on the way down as the bubbles burst. She wasn't sure how the first day of school was going to go for her, and for the matter the rest of the year. The previous year had showed her just to mind her own damn business, don't question and don't put yourself purposefully into something...for now though, she could smell the fries cooking, the grease of those all beef burger patties cooking - and that was what was on her mind.
