Aleece jogged at a nice brisk speed through the empty solace of the beach, in her work out attire. Her feet hitting the sand in a steady muted rhythm, the only other sound beside her deepened breaths the clinking of the chain and D – ring hooked to the collar at the end of the leash she held. King kept pace with her easily enough his head slightly lowered, and his ears laid flat. But the animal was hardly tired from the looks of it, and was a common sight when it came to Aleece now - a - days. She ran every day and King came with her, more on habit now then the reason it had been before. The bernese was still young, but had been quickly trained, and now the tan, black, and white ball of fur was always practically glued to her side…constantly. But she supposed that was what Ari had intended. Having never owned a pet before, Aleece took up caring for King with an affectionate fervor. He sat at her feet while she ate, followed her to the bedroom when she would go to sleep – usually finding a spot right at her legs, and even stood outside the bathroom door if she went in there. It was all apart of a routine now, that she would have thought Ari was being overly paranoid about nearly a year ago, but now…the caution came second nature – the quirks she would normally find odd not even fazing her in the least. Consequently she had become more conscious of the things she did, even if she was relaxing like now, the usual accessory of her iPod was missing from her ears. Though she missed the steady beats in her ear to encourage her to keep up a timed cadence…she noticed more now then otherwise. Eventually though, she slowed to a unhurried walk – when she started to form a stitch in her side, and her throat arid. With her hands on her hips, the end of the leather leash curled around her hand, Aleece rolled her head to the side, closing her eyes briefly before lifting a hand to brush along the side of her neck and back. Her skin was damp with perspiration from the work out and the humidity of the day. Finally stopping she stooped, smiling at King and giving his ears a quick playful tussle, unclipping the lead. Still he didn’t go anywhere now turning his attention to her he circled, his tongue hanging out and his nose twitching – knowing what was coming. “You ready to play?” She asked in an over exaggerated way to convey some excitement. At the word play the dog pounced around to the front of her lowering his front half but keeping his hind quarters in the air, his tail wagging. With a chuckle, Aleece shook her head and looked around quickly, spotting a washed up piece of driftwood, small enough to pick up but big enough to throw and that King could retrieve. Scooping it up she pulled back her arm, pausing with a grin as she watched the dog’s focus on nothing but the wood, but jerking a little with her motion – completely ready to go after it when she let it go. After another second Aleece threw it as hard as she could, smiling as she watched the dog go after it. While he was gone after it, she took the time to reach for her hair and pull down the sloppy bun that had been jostled nearly undone anyways – letting the wind and snatch as the dark brown haired locks as she turned to start walking again.

There was something she loved..DUCKS!! They were just so amazing, the way they walked, the way they sounded, how they traveled with the change of weather. It was all just so wonderful. To think such a magnificent creature had come back with her from Canada! Oh yes, the little trip up and over the boarder did not end without prizes and what not. While some got poison ivy, mosquito bites, attacked by leeches... She got herself a duck!... Okay, also maybe some of the other things listed. But most importantly.. A DUCK!! His name? Henry! A wonderful mallard, one whom seemed quick to tame. Her best friend, perhaps that sounded sad. Although, who could say they had a pet duck? Really? The beach seemed to call out to her that day, early morning, slowly turned into late morning when she found herself on her bike, henry nestled safely, in the basket of her blue bike. He was on top of the lunch box, beside the bag of bread crusts and ends, but under the towel. HIs little head would poke out from once in a while. Which brought a smile to the girl's face every time. "We are almost there Henry!"Which was the truth, going down one hill and finding a bike rack, she'd lock up. Turning to the beach, lunches, and towel in hands to look. upon the beach. Still too early for it to be crowded...but bea-u-tiful! Henry quacked away at her feet for a moment before he started to waddle towards the water. "Quack! Quack!" Looking back, he'd start moving again. "I'm right behind you Henry." Hilde couldn't help but laugh. Yes, she was following a duck to the beach. There was a smile on her face as she did so. Stopping once she found the sand, only to take her shoes off. Sand in shoes=FAILL and annoyance for days to follow. Picking up her shoes, she'd run after Henry who was pretty far ahead of her. A stick fell between Henry and herself, following the stick..was a dog. "QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!!" Throwing Henry into a panic as the dog ran for the sick, the duck took to the sky and glided out of reach, landing safely in the water. He was one unhappy camper. "Sorry Henry!!" The red haired girl called out to the duck, her red blue gaze focusing on the duck as he drifted on the waves, staring right back at her. BUWAHAHAA....Serves the duck right..I don't even like ducks...[[OOC: Sorry for fail~XDD;;;; I need to get back into posting xDD;; ]]

Just as Aleece let her hair down, she gave a chance glance in the direction King had gone only to see the most peculiar thing she had seen in a while. A duck...on the beach, followed by its owner? It certainly looked that way and she watched the descending arc of the driftwood she had thrown and consequently saw the simpleminded determined dog going after it...in their direction.
It didn't take much more then that to get her going after the dog, her feet picking up to jog, her dark brown hair pushed by the wind to over her shoulder as she made her way over but not fast enough. The sudden and abrupt arrival of King sent the duck flapping into the air and quacking in protest. However, his attention and restraint was pretty good, as per Ari's training - the dog didn't go after the other animal though his attention was perked, turning to focus on it now out in the water.
Finally arriving Aleece lifted a hand waving a little before calling out, "sorry about that."
Coming to a stop in front of her dog she smoothly clipped the lead back to his collar, keeping the length short so he stayed relatively at her side. It wasn't as though she was afraid he'd go after the red head or try to go in the water to get the duck however it was just something she did when anyone was around. "I should have been paying more attention," Aleece stated in apology, a small smile on her face, her focus going between the other girl and the water.
Wondering if that was her duck, but it certainly seemed like that was the case since she had heard a name being associated. "Is uh...he going to be alright out there?" It was sort of an asinine question to ask seeing as how it was a duck and could float. But...still she made the concern for her pet? known.

[/b] She even sounded pretty. The sea breeze in her hair, it just added to her appearance.....Hilde was weird, but people could appreciate the looks of others, right? Regardless of the gender. RIGHT!? Smiling at the stranger, she'd wave back, laughing at it all. It was funny, right? "It's alright, it's a beach." She watched as the stranger reattached the leash, which sent waves of guilt through Hilde. It wasn't right to do that, he didn't go after Henry after all. Shooting a sympathetic glance down at the dog, the girl smiled again. The mention of Henry caused her to look out at him. Dropping her towel, bag, and plastic box on the ground on her other side, away from the dog. The girl would stuff her hands in the pockets of her purple sweater, enjoying the breeze again. Clad in a purple sweater half zipped up, with black and pink swim trunks annd a rainbow bikini top under the sweater. Rainbows peeked out from the open sweater. Yes, Hilde was ready for a day at the beach. "I'm sure Henry will be fine, he probably just got startled. ha ha ha ha. This is the first time I took him to the beach since I found him in Canada."Perhaps a little more than need be said, but that didn't matter. It was a nice day, no one and nothing could rain on her parade. It was going to be a wonderful day, sun, fun on the beach.. Surely she'd be able to win Henry over with some bread, she always could. "My name is Hilde!" Smile smile smile. "Nice to meet you."[/ul] Vacation's where I where I wanna do A buddy on the beach Fun for me and you We don't need a holiday to start to celebrate! Repeat after me, "I need a vacation!" [[OOC: FAAAILLLLLL D; blame Supernatural and persona]]

Aleece came upon a rather tall and curvy girl, with very aesthetically pleasing features that caught her eye almost at once. But what really did it for her was the bright red, long hair, it was almost like a beacon, standing in out in contrast against the purple zip up hoodie sweater number, and her creamy and pale skin. Not to mention she was hardly upset by any of it, smiling and waving when she had approached, even going as far as to just brush it off.
Raising an eyebrow for a moment she realized she up against one of those kinds of people, the genuinely nice ones and she couldn't help but smile a little more when she laughed again, in the middle of her speech. A quick and shallow dimple indenting on her cheek, feeling that King now pressed against her leg, panting and tense, wanting to play some more - obviously not okay with being on the leash again.
For the moment she ignored the dog, her eyebrows shooting up in mild surprise, Canada? - giving her head a light shake when she just seemed to run what she was saying right into introducing herself. Still she wasn't so convinced about that duck being out there a good thing... "Well its nice to meet you as well, Hilde, I'm Aleece," she said sticking her hand out for a shake, "but are you so sure uh...Henry is going to come back?" She did just finished saying that she had found that thing in the wilderness...of Canada of all paces, and this was their first time to a beach.
Regardless though she was unable to stay unaffected by the rather radiant smile being given and one soon pulled back at her lips slowly, the thought passing through her mind that it was probably King that was keeping the duck out to sea. "Well I'm sure you want to get him back in any case," Aleece said, unable to help but feel somewhat responsible for the water birds sudden flight. "And I'm sure that its King keeping him out there...so we'll just let you two enjoy the day. Again I'm sorry..."
And indeed it was a nice day out, the clouds were breaking up and giving almost no coverage over the endless expanse of blue. The heat was edging on unbearable, enough to make drive you to get in the water, making those cresting white on the shore all the more appealing.
((ooc - no no, you're post was great...but...I'm afraid my just may have... x.x killed it))

'Why did God have to make guns so easy to get?' I asked myself as I ran on the sand in my thin black hoodie with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of running pants. Last night was one of those nights where I went up against people that could properly use guns, in the city it's kind of a lost art. A bullet caught me in the chest, thankfully I wore the kevlar but still hurts.
I ran and took everything in the second that I passed it, in battle that's all the time you have; even less if the people you fight are skilled. There were alot of people there and maybe wearin' black was a bad idea...who cares? As I ran something caught my attention, bright red hair...and a duck. "is that?" I asked myself aloud stopping my run and just looked for a second.
I reached into the pockets of my pants and pulled out my cell. I scrolled through the numbers until I reahced her and pressed call. "This should be fun." I said.

"I like your name." HIlde smiled happily as she looked over the girl again. She apparently seemed to be worrying over Henry, which was nothing too big. It was actually kind of cute, the red haired girl fought so very hard to keep herself from laughing at the sweet young lady she had met. After all, she didn't want to hurt her feelings. "I'm sure he'll be fine. No need to worry. We came to the beach to swim and have fun. He'll come back when he's ready."
It was nice to meet people, although it was a shame the girl felt so guilty. After all, it was bound to happen at some point, people always bring dogs to the beach. Their meeting was wonderful, or at least it was to her. A new friend was a new friend.
"Awww, don't leave." Hilde felt a little childish with her words, after all, Aleeca probably wanted to go home anyways. "You could sty and hang around if you want.. I mean, it would be fun. Sorry." Hilde felt rather silly asking a complete stranger to hang out with her. Perhaps it was wrong of her. "Sorry sorry!"
Of course, there was something to interrupt her apology... The ringing of her phone... FFFFFFFFF!! always at the worst of times. Without even thinking, she reached into her sweater pocket. "Sorry, one moment." It was probably just her father, it was always him.
"Hello?"
