History
History: Shane was the son of desceased police detective Simon Knight; known for his methodical way of solving crimes. Also a Respected Surgeon Ten Ten Knight; a doctor raised in a traditional Chinese home and broke tradition when deciding to marry Shane's Father. Both had Shane in Kowloon and married soon after. Shane was raised in California for five years where his life was happy and his father taught him a good amount of his own techniques which he took to like a duck to water.
It was all a matter of time until his life crumbled down when several people broke into his home with military precision and took out his father, hidden by his mother he watched in silence as the executioners killed his family. This would lead Shane down the most dangerous life he could imagine.
Shane was left with no family however and no was to take his inheritance until eighteen leaving him a ward of the state until he met Carlton Brent, well known philanthropist and businessman who was closely acquainted with Shane's mother and father. Carlton adopted Shane and took him under his wing, but Carlton knew having a home wouldn't help Shane after his ordeal. So he showed Shane a letter that his father had left for him. Saying that he knew that he and his mother would be killed and had planned ahead to have him adopted by Carlton, but Shane wouldn't grow up like a normal kid. The group who attacked them were an elite group who his father had been following for the assassination of a political official and knew that the only way to stop them would be someone to take them down. But in the letter he wanted Shane to try his hardest to live a normal life. He had seen how vengance led many to a dark path which always ended in the worst of ways.
Shane read the letter several times and then several more then looked up to his adopted father who looked at him with a soft look in his eyes and handed him a back pack. "I know..." He said simply. That would be Shane's first step into the world leading to his new lives.
Thirteen years pass and Shane had traveled all around Europe and Asia trainging himself to become the avenger that his parents and possibly countless others needed. Shane returned and began preparations for his war. He knew however that coming out as Shane Knight will be ended quickly and people will make him instantly if he decided to put on a mask, that is why he created not one mask, but two. Douglas Brent: The step-son of his adopted father who is nothing but a wannabe play boy who cares for nothing but the good times. And finally the mask he created for his war: Knightmare. As a child he had nightmares of the time his parents were murdered, and he decided to do the same to those who break the laws of man. He will make them fear the night.
