[Farren]

I stayed quiet as everyone else debated whether to ditch class or not. It was fun to watch, knowing that at least one of them was going to skip out. Back in NYC they wouldn't have given it a second thought - in fact they may have had to convince me to go. Guess kids these days are a little more studious than I was a few years back. I stood just outside the circled group, hands in my pockets, when a vaguely familiar voice called my name. Puzzled, I glanced over my shoulder and saw a tiny, gorgeous brunette coming my way.

Aww shit... I thought in my head. It's that Kevala girl. Haven't seen her since I forgot about our bar date and drove off to Mexico for a week...

I hid my frantic thoughts and gave her a quick grin, nodding for her to join us. As she came forward I said, "Yeah, I get around. Just visiting the school, seeing how things are these days. You go here, Kev?" I didn't know if she was an actual student or a drifter like me that just liked to get into trouble. Either way it could be a good time.

But the other girl, Liana, she was playing the straight edge, trying to duck out and encouraging us to go along. I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Fair enough, but I'll tell ya right now: there's nothing you can learn in this school that you can't get on the road." I looked around at everyone else gathered and continued saying, "How 'bout everyone else? Up for some adventure?" I smiled, my old practiced, charming smile, and started to turn away, heading for the parking lot.

[Talon Green]

Talon listened as Liana offered apology and said that she wouldnt be going, trying then to take her papers back from him. With a light shake of his head he simply held up his hand to stop her and smiled.

"No it is fine. I do not mind staying in school today."

Yeah so what if he was not really the social type....he was trying to do what he felt was right and what he thought was spending time with her was more than worth it.

Yet then the other girl approached, his eyes going over her for a moment before he turned his attention away, clearly uneasy with the sensations she set off inside of him. Yet he was skilled in concealing his discomfort. So long as he averted his eyes he would be fine......

His stomach turning. This being why he didn't really like being around other women. They did this to him ever damn time...Shaking his head he motioned to the school.

"You guys have fun though."

He then waited for Liana to get ready to leave. Not really worried if he was late for class, needing to let his stomach settle down after that little sidetrack......

[Guy Nottingham]

Guy frowned when Lianna turned them down, though so did Talon so he supposed it was back to the basics, just him and Farren lest of course the new girl Kevala was set on joining them. Guy walked over to Farren posing in the same stance next to him figuratively mirroring his motion with hands in his pockets though extrapolating the motion by popping his collar and grinning.

"Yea I'm down for a bit of fun. Lets do it, by your lead Farren."

A shifty gaze to Kevala of course he didn't know her by this point, he'd just stepped on campus for the first time and was getting to know his way about.

[Ceraphine Davis]

Kevala smiled at Farren as she caught onto the conversation, listening as the girl shut down the offer, the boy beside her did as well.....

~Hmm? Interesting~

Her mind storing away that information for later as the last one in the group spoke, obviously fine with cutting class. Heh....Farren coming here to corrupt the students. Naughty!

Yet she didn't say anything, just shook her head, eyes shifting from one to the other behind those glasses. Finally she turned her attention to Farren, that smile as soft and innocent as she could manage....

"Oh well it sounds like you two are just gonna be having all kinds of fun. Wish I could join but I fear I am swamped with work here at the school."

She then turned her attention to the one going to join in on Farren's little quest for adventure, along with the other two....stepping forward just a bit as she offered up a girly little wave almost...that innocent smile on her lips as she did.....What? so she was acting....Did it matter?

"Sorry I forgot to introduce myself. Kevala Katashi. Nice to meet you. And you all are?"

A genuine interest in who they were, because well, she was always the one to be social. No matter what.....

[Liana Williams]

One thing could be said for Liana, she was a sucker, and more often the not, someone could pull the wool right over her eyes about something. So what ever it was they showed her is usually how she perceived them. Kevela, as she introduced herself, was definitely very pretty, despite the sunglasses hiding half her face - it was the cute petite body that had most the guys staring, the clothes and probably just the way she held herself.

Taking a step up despite the fact that Talon was now looking else where, almost...on purpose ignoring the only other girl in the group. True, she had said she wasn't skipping but it didn't mean she was going to cut out short...especially when someone new had just introduced themselves. With the start of her greeting she flashed an open smile - showing white straight teeth and causing the faint dimple in her left cheek to show up, pleased that she had met some one else of the same gender. Returning the small wave, and going on to give her name as well, "I'm Liana, nice to meet you too."

She would have liked to go on, maybe tell Guy and Farren that maybe they could hang out some other time, hating that maybe she had spoiled something for Talon being the sort of wet rag she could be, but she heard the second bell right taking her attention off the group to flash up toward the school. "Shoot," she muttered, not wanting to have been late in the first place, "well that's my cue, I was supposed to be in the office to sort out some paper work for my dorm."

Not really getting why her face warmed at the fact she was slightly rambling on about her schedule - or why she was even talking about it in the first place, she ducked her chin down and lacing her fingers behind her back, lifting one more hand to give a departing and short gesture she took a step back, "hope to see you guys around some other time."

Giving a glance at Talon she waited on the friend she did know before really getting going, since he had expressed he was going to go to school after all.
