I read somewhere you could on do one club or sport every two weeks. How about one sport and one club ever two weeks. This would make more sense as some students would be in a club (art club, chess club, ect) and playing sport at the same time (Badminton, Football, NFL, basketball ect. Just a tiny suggestion.

It was mainly to prevent inflation but I don't see any problem with 2 going on at the same time so long as thats all that it is.
Anyone opposed to this? you have till Monday afternoon to file any complaints.

I am not really opposed to it, I think it would get more things going on the site besides just the classes, just wondering on the structure of such.
I know I am annoying and take pride in it, but yeah.....I mean I get that it makes complete sense for a person who is chess club to be in some other sport and for both to run together, I just feel like if that was to take place the rule structure of such would need to be rewritten just for the fact of resolving any confusion on the matter. Perhaps assign a mod to oversee the events and to make sure that each participant meets the needs in order to gain the exp for such.
But that is just me.
Regardless I am all for it, and all I ask is that when and if the rules and such are implemented a link be sent to me so that I can appropriately back up the information along with the rest of the back ups I have made.
And since we are making suggestions, I was going to throw out one for classes in general. I understand, FULLY ( due to my own current situation ) that sometimes people are unable to post to classes but it seems that the classes that we have going so far are dragging out a bit longer than needed and it is holding up the exp gain for those who are active.
My suggestion would be that there be a class every so often, such as in one class a month, beginning at designated times each month, and that the class continues for a set amount of time, should a person fail to post then the amount of exp they gain is deducted and the class ends on a set date.
I think this would keep things running smoothly and keep those who like to "slack" from preventing others from having to be held up. Of course this is a matter I would like to discuss further with staff if at all possible. So yeah. Just throwing it out there.
Sorry Jack to use your thread to throw out my own suggestion but it seemed appropriate to add it in here for others to post their opinion on the matter.
If need be this can be discussed in more detail in staff lounge, given I am currently working on a mock template schedule to use as an example. So yeah.
But as for the original and main focal point of this topic. I am all for it.
Again SORRY JACK!!! Not trying to offend or anything, just trying to utilize the thread to the best of its ability.
Thanks Sarah

Not at all Kevla ^^ Your suggestions are not only appropriate but brilliant and well thought out. No offense taken, I'm glad that my thread has brought more things into light.
On the matter of management of the threads, if Mr Durand feels that I am best suited for it I will happily take up the Varsity Captaincy obviously after I settle my character in a little more and get acquainted with the place.
I believe the duties are strictly IC and more or less allow someone to manage them on the IC level. For both sports and clubs.
Here are a short lists of clubs and sporting teams I'd like to introduce to PHS #774. Some are a bit generic and some are a new invention of mine. Also I'm a bit confused on the general definition of a club and a sports team if you could clear that up for me.
Sporting teams:
Track and Field Badminton Basketball Football (soccer) American Football Cheer Leading Tennis Swimming Table Tennis Volley Ball
Clubs:
Arts Clubs: Art Club Media Painting Drawing Music Club Wood Wind String Percussion Brass
Drama Club Musicals Plays Academic Clubs: Homework Club Help for all years in high-school free of charge, as for graduates, it's optional whether or not the 2nd years up want to charge. If they charge a reasonable fee this doesn't mean they won't get credit. Freshmen Tutors (Teachers) Sophomore Tutors (Teachers) Juniors Tutors (Teachers) Seniors Tutors (Teachers) Graduates Tutors (Other students/Teachers) Chess Club Inter Chess (Against other school) Intra Chess (within the school)
Lote Club (Languages other then English) Just more or less a culture club
Maths Club (A maths specific club) Freshmen Sophomore Juniors Seniors Graduates
Debating Club Inter Debating (against other schools) Intra Debating (within the school)

Love the energy and creativity from you Jack *thumbs up* I'll work to help you set a few of these up should you need it (Speaking mainly for the Competition esk clubs ie: Interschool Debating) or any for that matter.
& Sarah:
Not sure if I got this right but I'll try and address your question to what I think you're aiming for.
Classes, The teacher has sole right to skip people in the order, if a person is taking too long (granted that has to be a sizable amount of time, 4 days or more I'd say). The amount of Exp given per class shouldn't be equal for all (lest of course everyone participates to their fullest) it should be gaged upon: A) # of posts - meaning they have to keep with the order and keep up to post B) Quality of posts - One liners in classes shouldn't cut it, decent sized posts not gunna set requirements because that's against my nature teacher should decide upon it. If you have students doing exceptionally well (having 1500 word posts with descriptive detail) I feel they should be given bonuses to their exp gain at the end. C) Character development - Sticking to character is of course a crucial thing even in other threads as well as growing as a character, if the Teacher judges that the person had noticeable growth as both an RPer and as a character I figure it's a good reason to give extra exp out.
Drawbacks:
As you all probably know I've moderated for 259, Victory Heights College, Point Hope, Carmine, and here. I've also Rped on a number of Xin sites those listed above as well as 552, and 42.
In saying so I'd say I'm a fairly knowledgeable source as far as Xin goes. Now what I've seen over the years is a drastic obsession over statistics and how it is distributed. Therefore in order to prevent such things like abuse/corruption/inflation I'm going to set limitations of course on class exp gain (and clubs, though those will be looser due to the span of a creative mind)
Long Classes: 5 pages or more (grated I'm assuming class size of 8) A max of 10 exp handed out Medium: 3-4 Pages - tends to be a bit above average from what I've seen. Max of 7 exp Short (average): 3-4 exp
As far as clubs and sports go I'm not going to set up limitations to that because I'd prefer you go all out creatively and IC wise to make it interesting. That alone is up to interpretation, Creativity gains extra points, exciting threads gain extra points, funny and enjoyable threads gain extra points.
