Monday morning meant several things, for one there was always the subtle roar rearing in the mind saying, "You have a whole bloody week ahead of you! Get out now!" But of course there was no sure nor easy way out rather things were difficult in this day and age, not only for the students but for teachers as well.
In fact this morning there'd be one such event unfolding before the students of public high school #774. For them this could either be an adventure or even something of a tragedy. Their actions meant everything from this point on.
It'd begin with an empty classroom and Mr. Durand nowhere to be found.

Devon was so outside of his normal routine of smoking, boozing, even picking up random women at bars had dropped to one, and that had been some time ago. Left so outside of his norm that he did something he would rather claw his eyes out then participate in. He went to school, stepped inside class full clothed and sober, and went into a classroom dedicated to Politics
Sane, he was not.
All the same he seated himself comfortably, pressed the seat back so it was supporting his weight with only two legs, and propped his legs onto of the top of his desk. It wasn't like he would need to be engaged in active conversation to get across more information then people would think him capable of.
Sighing he glanced around the currently empty classroom, and decided close his eyes, letting the warmth of his sweatshirt and heavy canvas cargo pants dull his senses and speed up time. In other words, he dozed off, looking fairly peaceful in his precarious choice of seating.

Kev could not think of why the hell she was taking this class. The first one had not really gone all that well and she had ended up lost as all hell. But whatever, she needed the credits and this was just another class she would have to coast through.
Either way, she made her way into the classroom, her hand coming up to push back her hair from her face as she sauntered into the classroom.
AAAANNNNND of course no teacher. Ugh! This guy was a nut job, she was sure of it. She just needed proof.
>___>
<___<
A little shake of her head as she stuffed her hand into the pocket of her jeans, her black halter top holding firmly to her petite form as she made her way into the class, eyes falling over Devon as she flashed her beautiful and charming smile she was so good at.
It was then that she would find a seat in the back......because she sooo did not need Mr. Crazy calling on her or anything..........and sat down, leaning back and crossing her arms over her chest.
What the hell was this class going to be like?
Gods only knew.

Kazuya walked down the hallway, holding his book bag underneath his right arm, his other hand in the pocket of his loose track pants. Once he reached the classroom, he walked in, only to stop dead in his tracks in the doorway. No teacher, and the only other occupants of the room were two students, one that he knew, Kevala. Um... what? Casually shrugging his shoulders and taking it in stride, he walked into the classroom, seemingly glaring at the others with his fierce hawk eyes, even though he really wasn't at all, as he headed towards the two rows of desk/seat combination located in the middle, in front of the teacher's desk, giving Kevala a slight nod of his head, acknowledging her before he sat down in the third seat in the left row.
He pulled out his binder and pencil bag and placed them on top of the desk, and placed his book bag down on the ground before leaning back in his chair, as he casually shoved his hands into his pockets once again and slouched down a little, as he stared out the window, he wasn't paying attention to anything else around him. He yawned, looked at the clock, and resumed staring out the window. If only he knew what he had gotten himself into, signing up for this class, and more so, the teacher that taught it. This was going to be an interesting class, to say the least...
