Description: It's boxing. I really can't fathom that there are many people who have not heard of or seen boxing in some form. Thus I believe everyone should be at least mildly familiar with the basics, such as it is a style that is exclusive to punches. Anyway what may not be known is that there are different styles of boxers, Out-fighters, Punchers, Swarmers, Brawlers, and Counter punchers. I try to strive to be a Puncher, which is the most well rounded style, however I lacked the necessary height and length when starting out to be truly successful as a Puncher or an Out-fighter. Also my pack of pure strength, at least at this point, doesn't lend well to the Brawler style, which focuses on having a strong chin and pure power. Thus I have done my best to blend my strengths with both the Swarmer and Counter puncher style. On offensives I shift toward being a Swarmer, moving into close range and unleashing flurries of combos to wear down opponents and create openings. Defensively I opt for Counter punching by using quick reflexes and good defensive technique to avoid blows and create openings to strike back at opponents.
However given all this I am not completely rigid in the use of this style. True enough I can't kick all to well, especially above another persons waist, however I have learned enough from scrapping with friends and watching and studying fights to be able to use other methods of attack in real fights. Low kicks as well as a lot of grapples and holds to force opponents to quit.

History
Enough bragging, how about the funny? For example my 90 year-old great-great-great uncle Joe, who served in WWII, bringing home a 70 year-old black woman to a family get together two years back. We are pretty white predominantly Irish family so he thought we’d shocked… nope. Not a sole said anything until Joe goes, “Ain’t anybody gonna ask me about my black girlfriend?” and my dad walks by with the steaks and goes, “Yeah, how does she like her steaks?” It was funny to me. Granted we are a family where my gay uncle Alex gets more respect than my uncle Jeffery who coaches high school football in Texas. Why? Alex served in the Navy, Jeff didn’t serve. It’s a weird family, the Irish side isn’t much better but I don’t see them as much.
So my early childhood, well, much of it was spent moving around from base to base as my dad was reassigned. I just kept making and losing friends. At one point I asked my mom what the point of making friends was when we would move soon anyway, she said that the connections we make no matter how short are we keep us a part of this world… kind of stuck with me. That pretty much sums up the basics so on to the breaking of my leg. Dad was assigned to Norfolk and I was playing around this shallow creek with a friend from the base when we crossed the old decrepit bridge, it broke underneath me and I fell. I broke my left leg and the fibula was jutting out through the skin, I was nine and of course starting screaming. My friend got my sister who called for an ambulance while she tried to stop the bleeding and keep me calm. I thought my parent’s might be mad at my stupidity but they were just worried. I spent six months in a hard cast and another 3 in a soft cast with routine doctor’s check-ups to make sure I didn’t injure a growth plate and was healing properly. Meanwhile dad became an NCIS agent and was assigned to the Washington DC offices, which is where we lived for the past six years. Kelly kept a look out for me in school, being the popular pretty girl meant that as her little brother the guy’s in her grade looked out for me to get on her good side. It worked… I can’t deny it.
Anyway, my dad got transferred to the San Diego branch as a senior agent and thus we all moved to San Diego. Not being military anymore, we brought a ranch house, which is just like the ones on military bases. That is pretty much all there is to tell, nothing spectacular or exciting. No rape, abuse, deaths, or any of that crazy stuff… just a dude living with what I got. Check ya later.
