Dusk seemed to settle in nicely these days, the lingering strobes of light fading in over the seaside like pulsating orbs of energy aroused the senses in a tingling nostalgic sense. With that a dull breeze wafted over the hillside view of the school giving the meaning of scent an interesting tizzy of new life.
Gabriel Seran had just gotten off duty at the School lab, emerging from the subterranean sector with utmost scrutiny towards his own movements. Checking corridors and hallways to make sure no one had seen the building's purpose Mr. Durand made his point very clear that its presence shouldn't be made aware to the public until time came.
Rest assured Gabriel understood the man's ideals and just as well his purpose towards the school itself, that was the only reason he was helping otherwise Gabriel would've broken free the chain round his neck guiding the boy through life. Of all things authority was something he had a distaste for.
Rising above to the ground level floor the boy with livid emerald hues shifted his weight back unto his hip to admire the light show. In the main entrance he stood tall as could be, the black suit fitting his frame appropriately while a metal suitcase dangled in a bored array at his side. It would seem as though this was getting too routine, things needed to change else he'd be happy with mediocrity.

She was over, she hadn't seen Torrin.. There was no phone call, so of course she'd be worried. Torrin was her little dear, if anything were to happen to her... She'd not be able to live with herself, so it was best to go out and see if all was well. Crush some people if anything was wrong, perhaps rescue her little dear. Anything. Of course it was just her maternal heart fretting, Torrin was a big girl... She could take of herself, but it was the people Addie didn't trust. Some people were good, but you didn't always fun into them.
With no further thought, the brunette headed towards the school. Thankfully a short walk from the apartment building, maybe that's why she had picked the location.. Close and safe. Always within an arms reach, so the girl never felt like she was without help. Yeah, perhaps she was a little too worrisome. It was just what she had become. It was a good thing, very good.
Her bright blue gaze wandered, watching people as they passed her on the street. One needs to always be aware of the people around oneself, better safe than sorry, right? The sky was blue, although slowly colours mixed in as the sun began it's very slow descent. A lovely end to a nice day, right!? Well, it wasn't over yet, NOT UNTIL SHE FOUND TORRIN.
Clad in her black short lolita style kimono with red and white floral prints, Addie looked up towards the front doors. There stood a figure, almost like a ghost from the past. Metal suitcase in hand and almost like a memory from days long since past... Addie was faced with.. an old friend? Although, she wasn't quite sure, since everyone has a double, right? For all she knew, it could be him and not.
The question remained, talk to the strange and look like a fool? oooorrr just pass him by. It wasn't like her to pass it up, why not? Embarrassment at a school is nothing, especially when you do not attend it.
"Hey, don't I know you?"First to herself, looking at the figure with lips curled to a smirk. "Gabriel?" The name was spoken louder, in a far more confident tone. It wasn't like her not to be overflowing with a sense of confidence and...OMG NO FECKIN WAY BROSKII.
She was still, almost the same person. She just wore more topside~
"It's you, isn't it?"

"Gabriel?"
The sound of his name being mentioned was purely a shock. To be heard here after he'd fled from that school, twas an odd providence to see anyone then again this was still California not to mention only a couple hundred miles south of Laguna Beach to begin with wasn't too strange to see someone out of context in this place.
The more worrisome providence however was, he wasn't supposed to be known here, under the guise of another past to work for this place let alone test on such grounds required persons not tainted by the Public High School System. Which meant there was only one way out of this.
"No, I feel that you're mistaken Miss...."
He'd say without any second thoughts on the matter shifting his weight forward again to shoot her a subtle mixed glare of "Get the fuck away from me and don't press the situation or I'll have to make it hurt....bad."

She was mistaken!? Really now.. After years of just watching people, being someone in the background.. She could remember a face, especially of someone she had been friendish with.. Someone she had done voluntary battle with. It had to be him, right? His expression said it all, sure she got the fact he was unhappy about something.. but it wasn't something she could let go. FRIENDS DON'T IGNORE OTHER FRIENDS! Even if they weren't friends, she felt a bond with him.. even if he didn't think of it in the same way. Addie maybe wasn't exactly as strong as she was back at public high school 259, but when did the difference in strength ever....ever ever stop her? She wasn't one who didn't try to provoke the beast, even if it was a friend. Smirking still the girl looked up at the dark haired young man, she wasn't going to stop. He'd admit to it, right? "I don't think I'm wrong, How could I forget a face like yours?" A smile and a wink, the girl wasn't going to drop it. "What brings you here?" Push. push.push. He'd talk...eventually, right? RIGHT!? Orrrrr...... it would be another encounter with Gabriel that would end with her butt being kicked. Either ending to the day didn't matter, it was an adventure to be had. The misplaced Torrin was forgotten momentarily, alll becaauussee a wild Gabriel appeared on the field. Addie uses provoke. This'll be fun, just like old time, ne?Words she wasn't going to say aloud, mere thoughts as she briefly recalled the days of her previous school. Never a dull moment, right?

A lingering breath as he listened to her press on. Reaction, non, there was none to be seen just yet as the breath weaved in through his lungs feeling the twinge of the salt in the air coming off the sea side. The weight of his clothes, the weight of the lumbering suitcase. Mind racing as he calculated them all, the weight would slow him down and where he remembered from years back Addie wanted to be the tank didn't she? Perhaps she'd attained that level where Gabriel was at a mere fourth of his original power, perhaps even less if he'd calculated correctly the corrosive levels tinkering at his body.
*Clank*
The joining of the metal suitcase meeting the cement flooring as Gabriel set it aside. The slide of his weighty black jacket being peeled off his chest in a slow labored motion. His hands balled for a second before moving to roll up the sleeves of his shirt. Now all that was left was a vest, shirt, slacks. All of which were relatively light in comparison to what he'd been used to in his training.
"No... I think you're mistaken... Though I do realize violence is the only way you kids seem to learn.." Gabriel would reply in a cold voice flexing in mid air inches before hurtling forward his left side directed at her in a low dash. His elbow jutting out first as a shield for a brutal head on strike as he took to the ground in a warriors assailant. Dropping below her so that his speed was minimized and his weight triggered into the balls of his heels he'd use that left arm cocked at a 65* angle as a shield before shooting directly upwards with the force suspecting to send her backwards hurtling from her feet. as the force met he'd come up dropping his weight through his right shoulder and down through the fist aiming to hit her in mid air slamming Addie's body to the floor.
