You have definite potential for story telling from what I can see. Was an interesting exchange of verbal communication between characters what I'd suggest to make it another degree of intensity is a physical enactment of the Character's body language. From what I've read in Mystery-esk books theres always some foreboding characterization to the characters that foreshadows their movements. But I have to say you've got their dialogue and characters down very well.
