Alan was not pleased. Not pleased at all. He clenched his fists as he watched his friend's back slowly peel itself off the wall he'd been thrown into before falling forwards onto the ground with a sick thud. A long silence came over the gym as all eyes rested on the Asian individual who'd caused the disturbance. Now Alan had nothing against those who came to challenge those who trained at the gym but this guy had taken things a bit to far. His opponent had already lost his will to fight long before he'd been thrown into the wall and from those who were watching, it'd already been clear who the victor was. Yet with no strength left in his beaten body to say so, the beating just continued until finally the stranger apparently grew bored with his opponent and definitely ended the fight a rather sour note.
And with the end of the fight came an atmosphere that the gym was definitely not accustomed to.
Everyone was surprised at the outcome of the fight considering the level of fighter their gym had but that wasn't what got everyone on edge. It was the gap in skill and strength. No one wanted to let this go considering what the guy did to their friend but seeing as how the newcomer had downed the guy who'd been ranked as 5th best with seemingly little to no effort, not many could openly voice their discontent.
Now, sadly, although that'd deter a lot of people, it sure as hell didn't stop everyone. Alan glanced at the guy beside him who held a steady glare on the stranger and began to step forward but shot his hand out in front of him stopping him. Alan gave the guy a small shake of the head telling him not the go and nudged the guy back into crowd.
“Don't worry about this.” Alan said in a voice masked in neutrality as he stepped onto the small fighting mat. “I got it.”
His voice had been neutral but his feelings were not. Alan doubted his ability to beat someone who'd beaten a guy who was ranked higher than he but he preferred that if anything, he should be the one to try next rather than someone else. He hated seeing people get hurt senselessly and preferred that if anyone got hurt, it should've been him.

Jay let the body fall.
Thud.
Jay normally wasn't one to continue the onslaught long after the opponent had given up. Maybe the kid had given him a dirty look, or insulted him behind his back. Jay didn't know - with a blank expression, he'd simply whacked him over and over again. All he while, his so called "friends" stood by and watched. Was it an unwritten rule? Or were they just scared? Jay looked at the body and turned to the next guy.
“Don't worry about this. I got it.” Jay gave a scoff as the man stepped into the ring. Listen to the man. He thinks he's 'got it,' does he? Jay curled his hands into fists, the gauntlets clinking with each bending of a joint. The gauntlets looked kind of dumb - Jay had to admit. But there was no denying their power. With every hit landed, the enemy would receive a shock. Even a graze would induce a burning sensation. Also, the added weight meant more for Jay to handle, but also more damage.
He felt invincible.
With a grin, Jay beckoned him forward.
"Well, then. What do you got?"

“Well why don't you come and lemme show you?” Alan said with a small smile that broke his neutrality.
The small ring that they stood inside wasn't really much of a ring. It was more of a wrestling circle than anything else since it was just a giant mat blue with a big white circle around it. None of the other students stood on the mat and instead remained outside the giant blue square as the two fighters stared each other down. Alan's eyes remained locked on those of his opponent for a second before glancing down at the weird gloves that rested on his hands. They both looked and seemed weird. Alan wasn't exactly sure what was up with them but it was painfully obvious they were definitely something more than a mere fashion statement.
Alan, who was wearing a casual black sweatsuit, readied himself and brought up his fists to his face. His feet were sockless as had the last fighter's had been and he brought his eyes before up to meet his opponent's own eyes. Following his opponent's movements was definitely not Alan's specialty. He knew the guy's speed wasn't anything amazing but even with that being so, Alan still could hardly keep up. And besides that problem, there was still the problem with the gloves. The last guy who'd fought him hadn't known, but thanks to his sacrifice Alan at least had some sort of heads up on what to expect. Unfortunately though, asking the last guy exactly what was up with those gloves was impossible seeing as how he was presently laid out on the floor behind Alan with no visible signs of waking up soon.
“So comon, I ain't got all day.” Alan said casually as he stood poised and ready, “Oh and just so you know, that last guy was stronger than me. Just wanted to let ya know just in case you were worried.”
It wasn't really a bluff but it wasn't really the whole truth.
The guy the newcomer had taken out was indeed stronger than he yes, but that was about it.
Stronger.
Not better.

“Well why don't you come and lemme show you?”
Jay scoffed again. Come on. This kid was clearly the challenger - that was why he should make the first move. But if he didn't, there was no problem - he was only delaying the inevitable. The two were just staring each other down at the moment, trying to look for some kind of weakness. Of course, that meant Alan had the advantage. He could have seen the last fight. Jay on the other hand, knew nothing about him except that he wanted his ass kicked.
“So comon, I ain't got all day.” Oh, he had a smart mouth too. “Oh and just so you know, that last guy was stronger than me. Just wanted to let ya know just in case you were worried.”
"Who said I'm worried?" Jay smirked. He was worried actually - but not about himself. He was worried for this kid's health. Well, I suppose that's enough smack talking. It's time for Jay to make moves.
"Ready or not, here I come." Without warning, Jay suddenly closed to distance between himself and Alan, throwing a right hook at the kid's face. His left was held at his chest, similar to a boxer's stance.

Almost reflexively, Alan brought up his arms to his face as the guy launched himself forward towards him. He struggled to keep up with the man's quick pace as the gap almost instantaneously disappeared and with a loud smack and grit of the teeth, felt the man's fist impact strongly on his forearm. He cringed as pulsations of pain shot through his arm and then 'it' came. A strong surge suddenly flowed into Leon's arm. The connection on lasted for but a second as the force from the punch suddenly decided to come into effect and the force from the guy's punch caused Leon to stagger backwards a few feet before regaining his footing. His guard wouldn't be dropped for even a moment but the force of the man's punch wasn't what had him worried. He'd seen the match that had preceded his but hadn't completely understood what exactly he was up against.
The guy's first punch, however, made things crystal.
Leon's eyes glanced towards his arm as the throbbing ache in his left forearm warned him of taking another direct blow of that magnitude again. He refocused his eyes on his opponent as he swallowed a small sliver of saliva down his abnormally dry throat. He wasn't exactly worried considering the position he was in but instead felt more concerned if anything. Saying he was worried sounded as though he was afraid of losing. Losing wasn't ever anything bad in Leon's eyes. No one was ever an expert when they first started a job. A lost, in his eyes, was merely an opportunity for someone to realize their faults and to learn from it. The only time a lost became a bad thing was if you decided to ignore what you'd learned from it. But again, that was only from his perspective.
Still though, even if he had thought all that, he honestly didn't want to take another hit from this guy.
Oddly enough, the guy's hits really hurt.

Bzzt!
Maybe the sound wasn't heard. But the effect was certainly felt. Jay watched with satisfaction as Alan staggered back. The blow had given away Jay's advantage of the element of surprise, but it wasn't as if he needed it badly. A sense of impending doom seemed to have dawned on the guy; he seemed to have realized what it was that Jay was packing. A fistful of metal, and a bucketload of fear, Jay thought as he waited for the kid to do something - perhaps even say something.
With a smirk, Jay lowered his arms, but not his guard. "Are you done already?" he asked, trying to bait the kid into making the next move. If the kid did not say something, or do something within the next few seconds, Jay would advance upon him again and penetrate his mangina throw another punch - the same exact one as before.
Bzzt!

And off he went. Alan's eyes widened as the small distance between the two shrunk in almost a fraction of a second. Unlike before however, Alan had learned his lesson from before and instead of blocking, jumped backwards in an attempt to escape the man's charge. He kept arms posted up in front of him, maintained his center of balance, and kept his eyes on the charging man before him all while wondering whether the man was going to keep on charging or think otherwise of his actions.
Course, the time for the man to choose whether to keep going or to stop his charge would've only taken a split second because although time seemed slower to the two combatants, both the stranger's charge and Alan's quick retreat had taken less than half a second to carry out. The rush of adrenaline in Alan's body helped in this aspect but did little else besides dulling the throbbing pain in his arm. Taking another direct blow from this guy wasn't feasible which was why he'd chosen to retreat. It wouldn't the guy more than a second to finish closing the gap between the two but Alan wondered whether the stranger would continue his charge or decide to play it safe and back off.
Alan preferred the latter rather than the former but really doubted a man of his caliber to back down that easily. Which was why his guard had been up and his eyes had been centered. If the man proceeded to strike again Alan would only have but one chance to dodge. Another dog fights were his specialty, he definitely was going to come up short if you tried to duke it out with this kid. Hence why he'd put everything into this dodge if he had to. If he didn't that would've been better since that'd give him more time to think but like he said, he doubted the kid would grant him such a curtsey.

The kid dodged.
Of course, that was to be expected. After such a shocking experience, no one would want to repeat it. However, Jay wondered how much attention the kid had paid in Physics. Jay was no physicist, but he had made sure to look up how electricity worked when he acquired them. Though his little mind couldn't take in all that sheer knowledge, he'd managed to understand a few things: that airborne, electricity would not do anything, and that it could start a chain if people were connected, and Jay hit one of them.
But back to the attack. As the kid had hoped against, Jay would not be retreating, but he'd continue advancing. His arm, having missed its mark, returned by Jay's side, while his other raised to strike again. However, he wouldn't strike with the arm - at least not yet. When he'd caught up to the kid, he'd jerk his arm in a feint, but would instead kick out with all his might, his right; right into Alan's left side.
No shock there.

The man swung and missed but didn't pause in his quick charge. Instead, he pulled back his left arm as though preparing for a strike. Alan's eyes honed in on the approaching strike but suddenly shifted his eyes from the man's pulled back arm down towards the leg that suddenly digging itself into his left side. His eyes widened from the sudden shock and surprise from the unforeseen attack but found that before he could react, he was already flying sideways into a small crowd of people.
The crowd quickly dispersed the moment they realized Alan was flying towards them and instead of landing on top a soft cushion of people, Alan's body made a loud smack against the wall before his body slowly peeled itself and he fell forwards in almost the exact same motion the stranger's last combatant had. The only difference being the fact Alan landed on both his knees and his hands and not face first on his stomach. He coughed hoarsely from the vulnerable position and took in quick shallow breaths for a second before cupping his left side with his right hand.
He was being sloppy. He'd focused way to much on the hands and in doing so allowed his opponent such an easy opening. What was worse was the fact that although he was one who was used to taking hits, being caught off guard by an attack hurt no matter how strong you were.
But still....
“Do you really think this is fucking fair?” Alan questioned amidst his coughs.
“You already have the upper hand, why not take the gloves off and fight me like a real man?”

It worked.
Exactly as Jay had imagined it, and let me tell you, it was beautiful. Jay's leg made full contact with Alan's side, sending him right into the wall. There was a loud bam! as he hit the flat surface, and then the floor. This was oddly similar to the last encounter; only Alan was lasting longer. With a smirk, Jay lowered his leg. Wheezing, the boy looked up and over at Jay. “Do you really think this is fucking fair?” Cough.
Jay shrugged in response. "Nobody said anything about this being fair." Dirty? Yeah, but then again, it wasn't like Jay was a saint. He fucked shit up; that was what he did.
“You already have the upper hand, why not take the gloves off and fight me like a real man?" Jay smiled in response to the question. He was tempted to simply say, "no," and continue pounding Alan into hamburger, but this would be a good test of how good Jay was. You know what? Fuck it; it wasn't like Jay couldn't beat his ass without the gloves.
Click, click. He unfastened the gloves and tossed them to the side. "Any of you touch them, you're dead," Jay warned the crowd.
STR: 19 | DEX: 15 | CON: 32 | WIS: 25 | INT: 5 | CHA: 5
Jay began flexing his fingers, cracking his knuckles, and stretching a little. Playtime was over.
"Satisfied?"

“Heh...” Alan replied with a small chuckle as he slowly brought himself to his feet as he still held his side, “Can't say that I ain't...”
Alan centered his eyes on the kid in front of him as he took small and careful steps forward. He slowed his breathing in an attempt to get it under control but found that that was easier said then done. He stopped in his tracks several feet away from the man as gazed at the man from behind the locks of his hair that fell in front of his face. His hand continued to hold his still aching side as he put himself in a sort of impromptu stance with his left leading just a few inches in front of his right. He slowly brought up his left hand in front of him as his eyes continued to gaze forward from behind the hair of his bowed head.
He motioned the man forward as Neo did Morpheus in that movie the Matrix and in a heavy and tired voice said, “Bring it.”
You know you started a game with three lives? Well, Alan felt as though this was his last and that if he had any chance of taking this guy down, now would be the time. One would've thought that his best chance at taking this guy down would've been at the start of the match when he'd been 'fresh' but that really hadn't been the case. Hell, if the guy hadn't agreed to take off his gloves, Alan would've guessed his chances of victory to be less than that of a percent but with the guy probably thinking his victory was almost practically in the bag, he'd allowed Alan that which he wanted most.
A chance.

“Can't say that I ain't...”
Jay scoffed. "Quit flapping your lips, and get up." Yeah, Jay was a straight up douche-bag. Slowly, Alan brought himself to his feet and steadied himself, still holding his side. That kick must have hurt. If it didn't, then it said a lot, considering Jay had put all his effort into it. Still, the kid certainly didn't look like an unintelligent one, and if he was Asian at all, like his features suggested, then Alan wouldn't fall for the same trick twice.
Raising his arm, Alan beckoned Jay to throw the first move again. "Bring it." Jay sneered. You think because I took off the gloves, I'm going to lose?
"You have another thing coming to you," Jay murmured as he advanced forward. As he did so, he cocked back his right arm as if throwing a punch. At the last minute, he bent slightly backwards, as though he were about to slide tackle the man. However, the bending would be no more than "slight," and Jay would snap right back up, sending his knuckles straight into the man's chin, again, with everything Jay had.
He was the quick and dirty kind.

In the words of the great Dave Chappelle, GOTCHA BITCH!
Or so he wished to say but unfortunately that wasn't the case as a quick punch caught the very edge of his jaw. His eyes had caught the 'slight' dip and had expected a kick but the moment the kid had stopped Alan's brows raised themselves in concern. To be honest though, this feint wasn't all that obvious but if you compared it to the last one, it was disgustingly obvious. But along with this feint Alan was starting to see a pattern in this kid's tactics.
The signs were all there.
Electric gloves, feints out the ass, and a personality that stunk more than a dirty ass that hadn't been in several weeks. They guy didn't seem to care about what he did or how he did it so long as he came out on top at the end of the day. The only abnormality in this guy's actions were the fact that he'd taken off the gloves when Alan had challenged him to.
Well maybe not.
The kid's aura exuded arrogance and pride often fell under that category.
Alan hadn't thought the man would actually comply with his suggestion but if there had to be a reason behind the man's actions, it would've have had to been because Alan had wounded his pride. Of course maybe he was looking to deep into it or maybe he wasn't looking deep enough. But whether he was or he wasn't that didn't change the fact he'd gotten socked on the very tip of his chin. He had tried to pull his body back in an attempt to make the kid miss and create a small opening for himself, but his movements had been just a tad to slow and he ended up taking the blow unintentionally.
He staggered back a little as the blow had thrown his sense of balance off by a little but quickly regained it and prepared himself for the next strike which was probably already well on it's way. He gave his head a small little shake as his right hand continued to hold his still throbbing side. His eyes had never left the body of his opponent though. He'd been in enough fights already that he knew that with fighters like this, the moment you tried to take a moment to rest, they'd take advantage of that split second opportunity and would fuck you up.

That was what Jay did; he fucked shit up.
Jay scowled in frustration as he felt his fist only clip the kid's chin. He had been hoping for a full on sucker punch, but it didn't look like he'd be getting one of those. But Alan was right; that was exactly the kind of person Jay was. Fairness and shit went out the window when Jay got into a fight. To Jay, anything was fair game. Including attacking a recovering victim. When Alan staggered back, Jay moved forward rapidly, and with his right foot, stomped onto Alan's left foot. Alan was effectively stuck now.
Dodge this.
With a grunt, Jay shot out a quick left at the right side of Alan's face; however, whether it made it there or not was irrelevant. Again, at the last moment, Jay would suddenly turn his body and snap it back. While Alan was preoccupied with that feint, Jay would be sending a low right hook into the left side of Alan's ribs.
