A pair of piercing green eyes flashed as they peered over the sunglasses resting the nose of the freshman named Eoin McKerran looked upon the school #774 for the first time in his life. This would be not only the place where he would learn subjects to help him get by in the world. It would serve as his most intensive training grounds to date.
A grin spread across his face as he straitened the tank top he wore with the sweatpants that had the elastic cut away, a pair of socks and sandals. His normal training outfit. he knew he'd be getting into a fight today. It was the first thing on his particular agenda. He wasn't really out to cause any harm. This was just a place he would be doing quite a bit of battle in. And he knew how these places worked. Make a big entrance, and it would be easy to bring out what he was looking for.
Walking through the main entrance, his hair trailed behind him due to the brisk pace he moved at. He was like a guided missile, and he would find his target.
Find it it he did, luckily in the main hall itself. There was a student, a freshman like Eoin. He was pretty much bragging about how bad ass he was. Normally Eoin ignored people like this, but his trained eye took note of the boy's build. he was willing to bet the physically the boy could give him enough of a fight to keep it from Eoin picking on him like a jerk, and simply looking like a jerk for disturbing him instead.
Waiting until the other student finished a sentence, Eoin spoke loud and clear. "I'd like to see an example of that." He said with a relaxed grin. The other student looked over at him and gave him an odd look. "Are you looking for a fight man? Not a smart idea. I've never seen you around. And the new people don't fare well here." He said as he made his way to Eoin.
Eoin gave a chuckle. "Then let's rumble pal. I'm hoping you'll give me a good time." He said as he hopped back a few feet and easily dropped into his combat stance. Only a slight bend at the knees, his upper body curled forward slightly while his arms hung loosely at his sides, his right side slightly leading, though not by much.
The other student came in, Throwing a fairly decent right hook. Eoin's left hand shot up and like a striking snake, he attacked. His fore and middle fingers reaching past the incoming fist and striking the bicep. He ducked under the attack and pushed off with his left leg, his shoulder slamming into the boy's right armpit and flinging him back into a wall, creating several cracks and causing he boy to fall to his knees.
Eoin gave a frown. "My bad, didn't mean to hit so hard." he said, not even a trace of a taunt in his voice. he darted in again, his right shin flew in, hitting the side of the other student's left leg and knocking him over while Eoin darted past and lept away, landing back in his starting stance. He hoped a challenging foe would show up. This was just an attention grabber. Not really a cool thing to do, but he was banking on it being successful, not popular.

Figaro is wearing a solid gray t-shirt, and black gym shorts. He has his curly brown hair slicked back and out of his face. He is wearing a pair of size 13 Nike tennis shoes, and they were firmly tied and double knotted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, I recently met a guy in history class, Fred. He was an alright guy and all, but he had this tendency to run his mouth about how great he was at virtually everything. I swear, it was like he was just trying to provoke competition out of me saying things like, "It's a good thing you don't ever fight me, Figaro, or I'd kick your ass!" Still, despite his haughty attitude, I guess you could say we are kind of 'friends', so I never let his insults get the best of me. I just return his ass remarks with remarks of my own. Plus, deep down, I knew I could kick his ass!
Anyways, roughly about four other people and me were listening to the usual. I've only been a friend of his for like four days now, but even I knew the usual. It's when Fred ends up running into a tree or something, ends up getting a bruise, and then tries to make it seem like some epic fight tale! Normally, people just ignore us because freshman like us aren't worth their time, but someone actually felt the need to challenge one of his bull shit stories.
"God dammit... Just what we need, another egomaniac," I thought, as the two began to share the most non threatening words I've ever heard before a fight began. At first, I watched uninterested as Fred got his ass handed to him. Something about this other guy's personality just kind of pissed me off though, and he was acting like he wanted to fight the other five of us! ((It was probably just a silly misunderstanding!))
"Hey, go get Fred to the nurse," I told the other four who were gaping in disbelief at what happened. They remained still, so I snapped, "Hurry the hell up!" They nodded and ran toward Fred. Two helped pick him up while the other two began to push their way through a crowd that was forming.
I turned my attention over to the other man. I took a step toward him, and I cracked my knuckles. "Was that really necessary?" I asked him, before accidentally stepping on a pencil that was on the floor snapping it in half. I took one last step forward to help fill the gap between us, but left enough space where I was not in his reaching distance just in case he was a crazy like I am known to be.

"Well at least your buddies are actually buddies. Kudos to you." Eoin commented with a smile as he saw this Fred guy taken away from the fight. Eoin was a little disappointed that this was how he had been interrupted. The guy in the shirt and tennies seemed more interested in getting his buddy away from the area than actually stepping in. At least at the moment.
As for Figaro's question. Well that was answered with a shrug at first. "Perhaps, perhaps not. What's done is done." He replied, and odd glint to his eyes as he studied Figaro. I think we have a winner. He thought as an almost predatory smile appeared on his face.
"I don't like beating around the bush. I'm simply looking for a good challenge. I'm Eoin, and I'm wondering... Wanna dance?" He asked as he locked eyes with the other freshman. Eoin didn't care about the whole right or wrong, proper or improper. He made a promise to hone his skills, and he had found no better way than practical application.

I grunted at Eion's first comment. I was clearly not interested in his answer to my question, but before I could call him out on his bull shit response, he completely took me for a loop. Now, considering his non verbal body language - you could probably assume he wants to fight, but if you scratch that out and just listen to the dialog, it can easily be misinterpreted.
"I'm sorry, but if this is the way you treat other men," I began, nodding my head over at Fred who was nearly out of sight by now, "Then I'm uninterested. Plus, I'm not gay." Perhaps that wasn't the most politically correct comeback, but I was a fifteen year old who didn't really give a damn at being politically correct at the time.
If he was patient enough to get through my monologue - I would slight my right leg back, raise my arms (left taking lead), and clinch my fists. "Ready?" I asked. This was going to be the only courtesy I intended to give him this fight, and that was just to repay him the favor for not attacking me while my guard was down.

Eoin simply raised an eyebrow at the response Figaro gave about not being gay. He hadn't heard that reply to the particular question before. Granted the first thought that actually ran through his mind was why someone would think that a person had to be homosexual to dance with a person of the same gender, but he cut off that train of thought as it would do him any goos. Besides, Figaro had done something that made Eoin's heart leap.
Well here we go. He thought as he saw Figaro take his stance. Eoin slid his right foot slightly forward. His left arm was cocked back, held at shoulder level, while his right hung loose. As soon as the word ready was out of Figaro's mouth. Eoin darted in at him and his right hand turned so his palm was facing Figaro as he raked the hand up, his fore and middle fingers aimed for Figaro's left ribs with the same snapping motion he had used on Fred. The fight had begun, Eoin could only hope the Figaro could present a challenge or even beat him. Either way was fine as far as Eoin was concerned.
At the prospect of a good fight, his eyes had something of a glazed look about him. his battle lust was up, and it was more intoxicating to him than any drug could ever be. This was what he lived for, devoted his life to. Victoria was training, just like he was. He had to be ready for her arrival.

I'd be damned if I was going to let him put me on the defensive! As he charged in, I did the same! I took a step forward on my right foot, and turned my body counter clockwise. The jab would hit me directly in the chest, right near my heart. I would be lying if I said it wouldn't hurt, but I had been spending about two years now building my pecs! It wouldn't hurt as bad as if he managed to get me in the ribcage.
Unfortunately, my plan was not nearly as calculating as his. As his finger jab was coming in for me, I sent a right jab planning to hit him in the left cheek that would hit roughly around the time his finger jab hit me. If it connected, it would hopefully make him stagger backward, and give me the offensive momentum for the fight.

Not bad. Eoin thought as his opponent turned to allow the finger jab to hit a less vital area. If he wasn't going to evade or block, it was his best option. At the same time the jab came in. Now if Figaro had used his left hand to strike with, it would have likely nailed Eoin pretty solidly.
But Eoin had that left arm cocked back and he thrust in forward in a palm strike, allowing the fist to hit his palm and he took the impact, letting his arm rock back slightly to absorb the damage instead of suffering the full impact. The only response Eoin gave was an odd dreamy smile at seeing he had found what he was looking for while his right leg flew in, his knee aimed for Figaro's right hip. he was invigorated and he wouldn't be holding back. he'd keep the fight clean, but that was about it.

"Damn!" I thought. My punch was effectively blocked by Eoin, and I hadn't really planned what would happen for this situation. The jab to my chest forced my attention downward though, and fortunately let me catch sight of his incoming knee. For some reason, I rose my own right knee up as reaction, so his knee would collide directly against my knee. It would hurt like hell, and would knock me off balance causing me to fall backward and land harshly against the ground. I managed to twist to my right, and my elbow would take the impact of the fall - scraping away skin and causing it to bleed. I prefer a hurt elbow over a hurt head though! Now it's time to see if Eoin is a man who likes to kick a guy while he is down.

Eoin didn't really expect his little counter to work so well. He guessed that he simply had caught the other student unaware this time around. When he got up, Eoin doubted he would catch Figaro off guard as easily. In a serious battle he would have been all over the downed student, but this was a challenge and Eoin wasn't displaying even the slightest hint of malice.
The oddly glazed eyes and the dreamy expression on his face remained as he took a small hop back, landing in his starting stance, waiting for Figaro to get up. He'd give his opponent a wide berth and make it clear he wouldn't be playing dirty during this fight. Wonder how he is on offense. Eoin thought as he decided that he would stay in place until Figaro came at him. he did love studying how other people fought. He might run across and interesting technique to work on by doing so.

I wasn't wanting to take any chances, so I clinched the top half of the broken pencil I snapped in half earlier in my right hand - and then rolled to my right before jumping back up to my feet. I probably had about twice the stamina of an average person, and I was incredibly pain tolerant to boot. In fact, I was just about able to completely ignore the injuries I've recently sustained, and was still able to control my breathing. A pretty interesting feat, if you don't mind me bragging!
Eion was probably better off with attacking me while I was down, but this gave me some time to assess the situation. I wasn't going to deny that he is a damn good fighter. Probably better than I am by a long shot! But, unless he changed the demeanor, I was confident that I still had a chance of winning. Although... his attitude really pissed me off for some reason!
I was probably on my feet for a good ten seconds before I finally charged forward. My last step before I would strike would be with my left leg, and I would send a snap jab at his nose with my left fist that would have just enough force to daze him - but it wouldn't be enough to draw blood. My right arm was prepared to follow up depending on his reaction.

Eoin waited calmly as Figaro got to his feet and he had to wait for a few seconds before Figaro came in at him for the attack. The smile widened a little as he watched intently, wondering how the attack would come in. Figaro seemed like he was going to be pretty damn tough, and though Eoin had indeed made an excellent counter, he had seen how well Figaro moved, and was willing to bet he had found what he was looking for.
Than the jab came in. Knowing full well that a jab was a snapping motion. Eoin didn't even try to attack the limb or make a move to grab it, that wouldn't really be a practical thing to do. Instead he did something that he knew would likely frustrate his foe.
He tilted his head and upper body to the left, the attack came in a bit faster than he had expected therefore it scraped his cheek, while not cristical, was still fairly unpleasant, though that simply invigorated him even further.
He had planned a follow-up, but after that last exchange, He was willing to bet Figaro would be expecting a counter. And what better to do to throw him off than not act the same way as the last exchange. instead Eoin pushed off with his right leg and got about ten feet between them. He wanted to see what Figaro could do and he figured the best way to accomplish that goal was to stay on defense for a while.

"Bastard!" I thought, as I hit him square in the cheek. My right fist was clinched tight, and I stepped forward with my right leg to send a heavy right hook as a follow up but he ended up managing to jump away before it landed. I stumbled a few forward nearly tripping on myself, but managed to regain my footing before I face planted into the ground. I grunted, while the crowd around us adjusted due to the sudden gap in distance. It only a few exchanges in, and people were already thinking I was going to lose.
The pencil in my hand began to crack as I clinched it tighter, and then I let it go allowing for it to fall back to the floor. It was a good motivator, but I didn't want to accidentally injure my hand by clinging onto a writing utensil!
This was twice now that the momentum of our fight has come to a halt, and it was quite irritating. Instead of walking directly toward Eion, I would circle around him to position us where we were facing the width (short side) of the hallway instead of the length (long side). This would help narrow our movement, and allow for the crowd to form tighter around us. Of course, he could always object to me readjusting the field by simply retreating or attacking.

As soon as it was clear that Figaro wasn't going to come strait in. Eoin figured it would be best to go ahead and press the attack. A break in the flow of combat often served his purposes, but if it was any choppier, it would get to be a bore, and he didn't want that.
"Keeping it more close up, I'm game." He said as he darted in. He didn't plan to meet Figaro head on though. He doubted that would be a good idea. Instead he would fight in the way that he gained his nickname, the way he really enjoyed. As soon as he was in striking distance. he pushed off with his right foot, crossing in front of Figaro to dart past his left side while Eoin's right arm flew out aiming another one of his snapping finger jabs, though he aimed between the waist and the ribs this time around.
He had a few other attacks lined up, but he kept ready to adjust what he needed to do in case Figaro pulled out a good counter or defense against the attack. Eoin could work with the results, it was primarily a move made to lead into a chain, if it hit, so much the better.

Eoin's opener was virtually the same attack as last time, but with a twist. I was expecting an attack to the ribs because it was the first thing he did against Fred, and it was the first thing he attempted to do against me; therefore, when he tried to flank me to my left, instead of raising my left arm to defend like I would usually do, I instead twisted my body counter clockwise to follow him, and hugged my left arm close to my ribs, letting his jab nail me in my bicep.
My counter wasn't the most respectable either. Instead of going for a punch, I spat at him, aiming my saliva for his eye - hoping to temporary shock him or blind him, but most importantly throw him off guard.
Hey! I never claimed to be a fair fighter! This may be a game to him, but it was much more for me. In fact, he should feel honored! It isn't often I have to sink to these types of tactics.

Interesting, but I'll go with it. Eoin thought as he followed through with his momentum. The spit sailed past his head, Had Eoin stayed put during the strike. It wouldn't have been pleasant. He wasn't really thrilled at someone deciding to spit at him. He lost the dreamy expression on his face at that moment and there was a crystal clarity to his eyes as he glared at Figaro. He had been fighting, keeping things to being nothing more than a test of skill and being completely respectful. And to have this happen, well that didn't' fly with him.
Stopping his momentum by bracing himself with his left foot. He pushed off from his heel to the ball of his foot and came back in. his right arm cocked back, clearly tense ready to snap out in a powerful strike. When his left shot upward and he aimed a powerful palm strike to Figaro's jaw. If he was going to be shown such disrespect in this kind of a match, he was going to simply start trying to actually dish out a little damage instead of beating Figaro down. Playing "dirty" was one thing, this was simply not called for, there was a certain etiquette to a battle, and it had just been breached.
