So maybe PHS774 wasn't that bad. People knew how to party! Especially when it was during school hours! Reira didn't know what happened but when she to the cafeteria during lunch hour, the caf ladies stood in shock behind the food trays staring at the crazy students. There was a jukebox at the end of the room blasting loud top 40s music and young freshman girls were screaming at the top of their lungs, singing along to the lyrics that everyone who listened to the radio knew all too well. It was good that Reira looked good today, maybe she could get to know a cute guy or maybe even two. She wore a white tank top under a leather jacket and a simple jean miniskirt along with a pair of boots matched with some nice jewelry.
The tables were stacked together to create this huge dance floor and people were up on them dancing along. Reira was definitely surprised to see some whacking, locking, and some breaking done on those tables besides the usual hip-hop.
She looked around hoping that the teachers wouldn't find out seeing that a few buff students were making sure the lunch ladies didn't leave their station. There were also a few people at the doors making sure no teachers were allowed in. There were flaws but Reira wasn't going to waste any of this time! She hopped up onto the tables and saw someone walk through the caf doors. He was cute and she needed a dance partner.
Reira grabbed the guy and dragged him onto the "dance floor" and into the middle of the crowd as she started dancing with him.
"Loosen up, have some fun before the teachers come. I doubt this happens often." She'd say with a bright smile as she'd hold his hand up in the air and twirled, trying to get the guy to dance.

Another day as School Captain. As simple as that seemed, Cain knew that it was just going to be another day of conflicts, hardships and blood. Fists were going to be thrown, bodies were going to drop, and blood was going to flow. Such was the lifestyle of the School Captain. And not only in #774 too. It happened in most schools around America. Cain chuckled at that thought. Perhaps he could try to find comfort in the fact that he was not the only one suffering? Perhaps. It was not helping much, though. He chuckled again, though his moment of self-comfort was cut short as he noticed something peculiar.
There were two large men standing outside a set of closed cafeteria doors. Cain's sneakers glued itself upon the tiled floor, his emerald hues looking over at that direction. What was happening here? Well, whatever it was, it did not seem good. With that in mind, Cain proceeded to pull his bag off his shoulders, his white button-up shirt ruffling with the movement, the sleeves almost moving down from its folded-up state on his elbows. He was wearing a pair of black denim jeans too, and an equally-black tank top under the button-up shirt. He did not have the School Captain badge on, nor did he have the gloves, for they were in his pockets.
He approached the larger of the two male, who recognised him instantly. The man uncrossed his arms, taking a step back as Cain stared back at him, even though he was a good foot taller than him.
"What's happening here?"
The man failed to reply, as Cain allowed his gaze to traverse to the other male, who seemed just as fearful of taking on the Captain as his senior. Cain merely let out a scoff, as they refused to answer, prompting the Captain to move forward in an attempt to open the door himself. The larger male finally regained his composure and balls, though, as he reached forward and attempted to grab Cain's shoulder to stop him. There's no need to get to detail here. He was now simply sitting down on the floor, back against the wall and blood trailing down from his nose. The other man was too scared still to move against Cain, as the Junior opened the door then.
Music reached his ears, just as cheers and yells did. What was going on here? The door closed up behind him, his eyebrows raised as he found himself looking at the club that was supposed to be the cafeteria. He raised his right hand, unable to figure out what he should make of this. School disturbance? Maybe. He let his eyes scan around, noticing that the cafeteria vendors were held in their stalls by large men. Heh. Well, first thing's first, gotta get the sta-
Cain felt himself suddenly being dragged away by his arm, the School Captain being caught off-guard as he turned to see who it was. A girl? And she was dragging him towards the center of the dance floor too.
"Loosen up, have some fun before the teachers come. I doubt this happens often."
Cain looked at her. Well, she was pretty, and sexy too. Unfortunately, Cain already had his own attachments. Still... Cain smiled, hopping slightly on the balls of his feet, his eyes noticing that many other students around them had moved away from his direction, knowing that if he recognised them, they would be in trouble.
"You don't know who I am, do you?"

Reira had failed to notice the beaten up 'bouncers' and just blindly clung onto the guy and dragged him to the middle. Reira never really revealed her true personality to others. She seemed confident, strong, flirtatious and outgoing in front of others. Her charisma was great but it really was just a show. However, one thing for sure was that Reira loved music and loved to have a good time. Spending time at home was not something she enjoyed, and unlike other people, she loved school. It was heaven compared to the hell on earth she had when she went home. Music and dance brought life into her and made her more energetic than ever, which explains her blindly dragging someone onto the dance floor.
Whether it be fortunate or not, she noticed that people around her amd the guy she dragged into this had started turning their backs against the two of them. They seemed to hideaway and tried not to show their faces. Reira wondered why, but she couldn't really put a finger on it. Until she thought that maybe this guy must be some authority figure, or some kind of black sheep. But that latter case wouldn't be correct, afterall she was the new black sheep of the senior class.
"You don't know who I am, do you?"
Reira grooved along to the music but paused, staring at him for a good five long seconds. She'd take a step back and observe him a bit more, before she shook her head.
"No, I don't. Am I supposed to...?" she'd say with a small blush of embarassment. She was just playing the possibilities in her head. What if this guy was actually a teacher, it would be SO awkward. Though, she doubt it, he looked her age or even younger. And if he were a pillar like her ex, jeesh, she just hoped he was corrupt or was against the teachers or something!
"I just hope you're not some kind of party pooper, cause I was just beginning to enjoy this school. It was so dry when I got here last week."
It was just a joke but, she really did hope that she wasn't messing with the wrong guy, although the expression of the people around her made it seem like she just made a grave mistake.

There's two types of people in this world.
Those who command, and those who listen. There was no such thing as someone who was "in between," or someone who was "a little of both." Jay could never stand for being told what to do. In this school, there was only one person with the capability to command students, and that was the captain. That was why as soon as Jay transferred over, he had been looking for that kid.
But finding someone like that was like finding a needle in a haystack. There were so many kids in this godforsaken school that Jay didn't know where to start looking. Jay hoped he wasn't going to have to have to find out the undesirable way. What, do I fuck shit up, and hope he shows? Jay sat in the cafeteria as a crowd began gathering in the center. They were dancing now; but it wasn't the entertaining kind. It was club dancing - just people with blowouts fistpumping or broads shaking the moneymaker. With a sigh, Jay shook his head, turning away.
When am I going to find this guy? Even if he didn't win, Jay would have learned something - that he was shit.
The door suddenly opened, and Jay turned to observe the kid walking in. Immediately, Jay felt something different about him - he walked with confidence, never hesitating. The crowd parted naturally in front of him, the way that guy parted the waves to walk across. Was he the God of this domain? Jay got up to approach him, but a girl suddenly took him into the crowd. Jay paused, confused. His girlfriend? His eyes narrowed as he sat down again.
...I guess I'll have to wait it out.

"No, I don't. Am I supposed to...?"
Yup, she really was a new student. At that, Cain smirked, once more taking note of the students that were starting to sneak away from him. Yeah, he was going to be seen as the party pooper here. Then again, would that be a surprise? It was his job to keep peace and order here in the compound of #774. He gave a quick glance around. Well, in places like this, disturbances of peace and order were usually fights. And this was no fight. This was a party, in school. Student-initiated. Cain grinned. Yeah, as long as no fights occur, this pretty much could be passed on as something 'done by the students for the students'. Yeah, Cain was sneaking away from his duties here, but who gave a crap.
"Maybe."
"I just hope you're not some kind of party pooper, cause I was just beginning to enjoy this school. It was so dry when I got here last week."
Cain chuckled. Well, Cain never had a dry week here in #774. He was always in trouble, always fighting, always in deep shit, and as tiring as it was, Cain was grateful, in an unusual way. At least now, his school life was never going to be boring.
"Haha, don't worry. There's no reason for me to 'poop' this party anyway."
And yeah, Cain said that in a louder-than-normal voice, though only by a bit, as his words drew the grins and smirks of the people around him. Yup, that was pretty much a 'go ahead' from the School Captain. What about the teachers? Hah, Cain already had an excuse cooked up for this anyway.
"By the way, my name's Cain. Cain Aurelius."

The guy's ambiguous answer only made her mirror his smirk. The guy was being smart with her! Well, he was lucky that she was not a short tempered girl that would just blow up in people's faces when she doesn't get the answers she wants. Either way, it seemed as though this guy wasn't going to ruin the party! People around her look a little less tense and started to make the atmosphere a bit lighter and happier. Reira was really interested as to who this guy was. It was as if just controlled the room with just his presence. Must be someone important.
"By the way, my name's Cain. Cain Aurelius."
Cain huh?
"Hmm dramatic pause. Well I'm Reira. Reira Nikolov."
Reira mimicked his slightly pause. She knew he just did it without meaning to be dramatic but she just felt an urge to just poke fun at him, might as well. If he was some authority figure, she wouldn't have another chance to fool around, but seeing that he was in a fairly good mood- if she may say so herself- then she'd take her chances with teasing him.
"So...who are you exactly...? Looks like you got influence over these parts." Reira'd say trying to figure out who he was.

The two were talking now.
If Jay was guessing correctly, they weren't already acquainted - this was the first meeting. However, they were already more than showing interest in one another. Not that Jay had any problem with it. But Jay was going to feel bad for the girl. The kid she was dancing with wasn't going to be the party pooper - Jay was. However, Jay still couldn't be sure if the kid was the School Captain.
Jay turned to a kid next to him. "Who is the strongest guy in the school?" A simple question that anyone in this school could answer. If he didn't get answers, he was going to flip shits. The kid paused briefly before answering.
"See that guy over there dancing with the girl?" That was all Jay needed to know. Maybe the kid had been referring to someone else. But there was something about that kid that made Jay want to hit him so much, that he was going to use anyone's words as an excuse to fuck him up. Jay got up from his seat and snapped his gauntlets in place.
Click, click. The kid who had answered Jay's question got up too. "Hey, you're not thinking about taking him on, are you?" Jay ignored the query, and pressed forward, forcing his way through the crowd. When he finally got to the two, he thought about his options.- No questions, just clock him in the fucking head.
- Stop to talk briefly, then challenge him.
That was all the choice he had, really. But Jay didn't want to be overly rude to the girl, so instead, he stopped before the "couple," smiling. His hands were held behind his back, hiding the gauntlets. "Hey, my bad for ruining a romantic moment but...." His grin growing wider, Jay leaned forward.
"...are you the School Captain, by any chance?"

"Hmm dramatic pause. Well I'm Reira. Reira Nikolov."
Reira Nikolov? What an unusual name. Reira sounded more Eastern or Central Asia, but Nikolov sounded like it came from something from Eastern Europe. So where exactly was she from? At least, ethnicity-wise? Well, Cain's curiousity would get the better of him then as he continued to hop on the balls of his feet, the simple boxing movement being used then in tune with the music to develop into a dance of sorts. Well, it didn't look awkward, nor did it look stupid, so Cain was alright with it.
"Reira Nikolov, huh? Cool name. Nikolov's... Russian, is it not?"
Yup, he was wrong there. Well, how would he know? Cain never got around much. He lacked the money nor desire to travel around the world; or at least, at the moment. So, of course he did not know that it was actually a Bulgarian surname. He only knew of names from movies, and Nikolov sounded Russian to the clueless young Junior.
"So...who are you exactly...? Looks like you got influence over these parts."
Cain chuckled at that thought. Influence, respect, fear. Whatever you called it, it was always the same. Cain had a psychological hold on the people of #774, for he was seen and said to be their 'leader'. Cain hated being called as such. All he was was someone who wanted a challenge. Holding the title was a big enough of a challenge as it was. Well, there was no point hiding it, right? Might as well confess. However, before he could say anything...
"Hey, my bad for ruining a romantic moment but... Are you the School Captain, by any chance?"
Cain stopped in his dance, his emerald hues finding the Asian's as he looked straight into his eyes. Who was this guy? Cain had never seen him before, but the aura he emitted... He was no ordinary student, that was for sure. He had the air of experience around him, the smell of hell. A familiar sensation to the ex-#552 student. Cain raised an eyebrow, turning on his heels to face the man now.
"And who might you be?"
Well, he didn't deny it, right?

(OOC: clash of the titans alternate universe style?)
Reira continued to groove along with the music, moving her shoulders and arms along near waist-level while she rocked her body to the beat. It was just simple movements so that it wouldn't be awkward if she just stood there or too rude if she started dancing all out or something while talking to someone.
"Reira Nikolov, huh? Cool name. Nikolov's... Russian, is it not?"
It was the second time someone called her Russian. It wasn't too different from what she really was, given that she grew up in Ukraine, she pretty much considered herself Russian anyway. However, ethnicity-wise she was Bulgarian with a dash of asian descent somewhere on her mother's side. She liked her name actually, Reira sounded exotic and feminine while Nikolov rooted her being to the norm. The surname and first name gave birth to something of balance- an equilbrium of some sorts. At least, that was what Reira liked to think.
Just shortly after Reira questioned Cain about his position here at the school, he chuckled and some one butted into their conversation. Not that she was irritated, but it would have been nice to butt in after she found an answer to her question.
"Hey, my bad for ruining a romantic moment but... Are you the School Captain, by any chance?"
Nevermind.
It would seem as though Reira's question was about to be answered with this new guy's arrival. He was pretty cute, but he seemed overly cocky and confident, then again, if he was to challenge the school captain, he better be confident enough in order to even dare spark some kind of fight with him. Then again, Cain might not be the School Captain, although he didn't deny the title.
Reira paused, stopped dancing and turned to face the tall, lean Asian guy with interest. Something was going to happen, she knew it. Call it instinct or some kind of sixth sense but Reira felt that there were going to be sparks flying around. Not the romantic kind of sparks but tension between rivals. Besides that, there was a sense that this happened before, some where in her memory, a familiar sensation as Cain had put it.
"Well, looks like we've got some tension here, boys, lets not start anything...shall we?" Reira'd suggest with a small smile as she'd place her hands on the shoulders of the two males even though she knew the inevitable would happen unless something or someone intervenes in their fight.
Let the Clash of the titans begin...maybe.

"And who might you be?"
Jay smirked. I'll take that as a 'Yes.' Heavens knew Jay could be wrong, but at this point, Jay was itching so badly for a fight, he was willing to take on anyone. As for Jay was...
"Oh, just someone who's very interested in the title," he replied nonchalantly, his hands still behind his back. You ever watch a movie where two men interact, but one of them has something behind his back? At that point, you just know that one of them is going to murder the other. Kind of similar to this scenario, except Jay wasn't going to go as far as killing someone over a damned title.
Indeed, the tension was becoming so thick, a chef could cut it with a knife. But the girl just had to go and ruin it. "Well, looks like we've got some tension here, boys, lets not start anything... shall we?" Jay gave her a quick glance.
Paying no attention to what she'd just said, he turned back to Cain, smirk still in place.
"Well... I think we both know what happens now...?"

"Oh, just someone who's very interested in the title,"
Ah, great, another challenger. Cain sighed, raising his right hand in mock frustration as he scratched the back of his head. He had been hoping to celebrate this unusual day without having to actually cross fists with someone, but he guessed that it was just not meant to be, considering his school status. Then, his fighter's instincts kicked in, as he noticed the position of Jay's hands. Behind his back? What was he hiding, a weapon? He allowed his eyes to look past Jay's shoulders, at the students behind him. And one of them was pointing at Jay's hand, muttering something that Cain read, from his lips, to be 'painful'. Well, that wasn't good.
"Well, looks like we've got some tension here, boys, lets not start anything...shall we?"
Cain looked towards Reira. Oh yeah, she was still here. Well, at least she wasn't like the other students, who had cleared away, as they had done so earlier upon Cain's arrival, giving both fighters a circular ring to bout in. The music was still as loud, and as much as they were supposed to, none of the bouncers dared move in to stop them. I mean, who would? Not only was the School Captain there, but there was a young man with scary-looking gauntlets too.
"Well... I think we both know what happens now...?"
Cain turned back to him. Yeah, of course Cain knew what happened now. The badge and the gloves of the School Captain were in the pockets of his pants, so all he had to do was take them out and the challenge would be accepted. However...
"Yeah, can we like, do this afterwards? I'd really like to just enjoy this party while it's still here."
He smirked.

Ugh, boys.
Seriously, whenever guys get in 'the zone' or whatever, nothing matters. If their pride is on the line, they don't care about anything else. Then again, Reira couldn't blame the two, after all she was just a bystander and the title was of importance. She'd take a step back after getting the bad vibe from the two. Reira didn't have the desire to get in between some fight with strong fighters, she'd just be collateral damage.
"Well... I think we both know what happens now...?"
"Maybe I should ju-..." Reira would begin to take a few steps back into the crowd.
It seemed serious and it felt like it was going to go down, the atmosphere changed immediately. People were dead silent trying to catch every word they said. It was a historical moment for the students at 774, but then Cain suggested something that Reira had not been expecting and she was sure some in the crowd had not expected it either.
"Yeah, can we like, do this afterwards? I'd really like to just enjoy this party while it's still here."
Reira just waited Jay's response, she wasn't exactly sure what to make of the situation.
Seriously?
Cain is not a party pooper. He didn't go back on his word, but it was just a itty bitty late due to Jay's arrival.

You nervous?
He certainly didn't look nervous, going so far as to feign it. The school captain scratched his head as if wondering whether or not he should do it. Well, he really didn't have a choice - people were watching, and if he bitched out now, then there'd be an uproar. But like the smooth politician he appeared to be, he suggested a truce for now.
"Yeah, can we like, do this afterwards? I'd really like to just enjoy this party while it's still here." Jay replied with a scoff as he watched the boy's eyes flicker to a spot behind him. What was he looking at, some bitches about to ambush him? However, if anyone was coming, Jay would have heard them. I don't know what he's looking at, but it ain't getting him out of this.
Jay signed in response to the question as if it deeply depressed him. What should he do? Just straight up attack him now? Nah, maybe he should take up Cain's offer, and do it later. Seeing as how it didn't seem like the fight was going to happen now, he slipped off the gauntlets behind his back, and put them into his back pockets. Ever-present smirk still on his face, Jay nodded slowly. "I think I can do that much for ya," he said, and playfully jabbed Cain in the shoulder, his hand devoid of any "painful-looking" gauntlet.
"After school in the courtyard then?" Jay suggested. With a quick bow to the young lady, Jay would turn to leave.
"Later, champ."
