However, he does have some positive traits that don't always show themselves. He is very tough, and can be extremely determined and focused on something if he puts his energy into it. He's a fast thinker, and can turn out to be pretty resourceful on certain occasions. Though he may not realize it yet or act like it, he yearns for someone to be close friends with. Description:Cameron's mother started instructing him in basic Muay Boran principles almost as soon as he could walk, intending to bring him up to become a skilled fighter in this art. It is his core fighting style. But, over the course of his past experiences, he has also acquired techniques from other disciplines: namely Aikido, Jeet Kune Do, Boxing, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Tae Kwon Do and Wing Chun. He mainly utilizes attacks and rushes that will help him quickly overwhelm the opponent and get the quick KO through a well-placed knee or throw if he has to fight.
Apart from his lack of raw strength, Cameron's main weakness is that fact that he has never completely mastered the full extent of any of these styles, only learning whatever he could or whatever was immediately useful. Still, he can transition between these forms efficiently enough, and knows enough tricks and moves to hold his own against any average fighter, which he has done many times.

History
As Dr. Diegle's stay in Asia became more prolonged, his relationship with Kanya grew more serious as well. However, things were not exactly well with Kanya's own personal life. Her father was a law enforcement agent who was wanted dead by a powerful cartel from Cambodia for having played a role in the disrupting of a very large factory of narcotics being produced in Pattaya. Because the police force he served in was known for being corrupt and granting pardons to dangerous criminals, he urged Kanya to try and leave the country, as his family would be targeted.
Kanya didn't tell Gerald any of this for fear of driving him away. However, she did ask him to take her visit the United States to see what it was like. Her fiancee, though slightly puzzled by how sudden this request was, agreed to it, and they left to head back to his home in New York. while they were staying there over the months, she became pregnant with their son. After much discussion, they decided to marry. Their wedding was very happy, though Gerald found it somewhat disconcerting that Kanya's own family wasn't present.
Kanya managed to correspond with her parents overseas whenever possible; she also fought in other tournaments and gaining more prestige as a professional martial artist. As soon as their son Cameron could walk, she began teaching him in Muay Boran, which had been practiced within her family for generations, for various reasons. She wanted him to have a knowledge and appreciation for the Art, but also wanted him to be able to fight and defend himself whenever necessary. Cameron was a surprisingly quick study for such a young boy who seemed to possess his mother's natural talent for fighting.
Things went well for their new family until Cameron was around the age of seven. Kanya's father, now much older, disappeared while investigating a case. After he was gone for a very long time, Kanya was frightened and in despair that he had been killed by the criminal element he fought against, and it effected her personally, as well as put stress on her husband. She increased the amount of time she made her son train, and was much harder and more strict with him. At the same time, her own skills were dampened by stress and distraction, and she began losing more fights.
For the longest time, nothing happened. Until one weekend while they were at home, several men broke into their apartment and attacked the family. Despite putting up a long and brutal fight, Cameron's mother was eventually overwhelmed by the men and was beaten down, his father as well. The last thing he could recall was being hit on the back of the head while trying to run from the men and blacking out. Thus, the young boy's life changed rather dramatically.
He was kidnapped and smuggled back into Thailand, to the city of Bangkok. There, he and several other small boys were told they could never see their families again and were going to be fighting for the entertainment of others for the rest of their lives until they no longer could. Thus did the underground fights and sparring begin. Anyone who showed weakness, could not fight well, or tried to escape was punished, in a myriad of both degrading and almost always painful ways. That was if they weren't out and out killed.
Cameron was singled out from the beginning, due to being a small, Caucasian looking boy. He was often made the brunt of ridicule and humiliation by both the trainers and the other young slave-fighters. However, despite all of their best attempts to break him, no matter how many times he was beaten and starved, he fought back like a wild, cornered animal. His prior training and conditioning, combined with his surprising agility and reflexes, actually helped him take on larger, stronger and older opponents. Despite suffering many defeats, he won as many fights as he lost, and despite being an outcast and often at a disadvantage, he began to win more than lose, especially as he became experienced.
He won himself more food and better treatment as he advanced with success. He was also left alone more often by the other kids; not out of respect, but knowing that even when out-numbered, he was still quite dangerous, and even superior to more than a few of the other kids. One of the trainers (who was from Beijing) even started calling him Sim Din--Cantonese for Lightning, after the way he fought.
One day, young Cameron was in a very protracted fight against a seasoned prize fighter from Sierra Leone who was older than him by a few years, and much more muscled. As the fight went on into the seventh round, the boy from Sierra Leone found that he wasn't getting anywhere in a stand-up fight and began trying to take him to the floor. But the smaller Cameron simply proved to be too fast. After one particularly fatal blunder by his opponent, Cameron managed to land a very high knee to the boy's face. It was much harder and stronger than he was usually capable of producing. The larger boy took it full-on, and crashed to the floor in a heap, blood gushing from his bruised face. It was quickly discovered that the blow was fatal.
Despite everything he'd endured up to this point, Cameron was horrified, even beyond anything else that had happened. He had never actually killed before, not even after the most brutal of fights that he'd won.
On the other hand, it proved to be the one thing he could do that got him any real respect. A prospective businessman who had been among the spectators, an entrepreneur from Venezuela, decided he wanted to invest in Cameron. He bought the young boy and took him to larger, more dangerous, but more profitable fighting circuits in other countries: Ukraine, Mexico, Germany, Bangladesh and many other places. Cameron learned from many other teachers new ways to fight; he accumulated more KOs and even a few titles in the Underground.
He gradually became hardened, cold and inverted, no longer the frightened little soul that fought for his survival; but a bitter and angry young teenager who used his aggression to beat his opponents into the ground. He took to drugs, smoking, drinking, stealing and other criminal acts whenever he could get away with it.
Then one day he was poisoned by another party. He was left in a coma for several days; during that time, the ring he was going to fight in was found and disbanded by the local Dubai law enforcement. He was put in the hospital and nursed back to good health after narrowing averting death for a solid month. Luckily for Cameron he was under-age for jail; juvenile hall was far too tame for someone like him. The Dubai government contacted the Americans and, through negotiation was able to get Cameron transferred to the United States, where he would be placed under the special public high school system there built for youngsters just like him....
