K[/size]evala had been seated in "her" apartment all afternoon. Ever since her little run in with Gabriel, or who she believed to be him, she had known about this place that Sasha kept herself held up in.
She should have gotten rid of it, yet something about it, something...familiar, kept her from doing so.
Was it the dark nature of the place? The ever lasting emotions of pain and hatred that had seeped into the walls and now seemed to feed that part of Kev that she was struggling so hard to control? Or perhaps it was just knowing that if she got rid of this place the other half of herself would find another......Though Sasha and Katie both had been silent for several weeks now, and the silence that filled her mind was a scary thing.
She did not remember much about when the two came to be, but she did remember why, in a sense.....She had snapped, there had been screams, blood....people murdered....that SHE had murdered....and in the midst of all the madness, the two had seemed to come from the farther reaches of her mind to protect her..to lock away whatever it was that had consumed her.....
But the doors were growing weaker as the days dragged on...Kevala could feel that familiar pull tugging at her, and the secret she had worked so hard to keep locked away from the world she knew, no threatened to be set free.
As she sat there, a pair of shorts and a tank top on.......she flicked the a card about in her hand, her cellphone laying beside her upon the couch......Icy hues scanned over the number....debate raging in her mind was to if she should tell him or not. Even in all their time together, she had never really told him who she was, or what she had done....She had purposely forgotten those times in her past and had blocked the memories from her mind......But now....they were all too real, the dreams reminders of what she was, and what she would soon be again.......
But she needed help, it was the only thing she could reason out of this whole mess, and the only person she trusted with this part of her, the only one she thought could possibly help her...was the one man she had given her heart to and who still held it within his grip despite her engagement to Mischa.....
She loved the girl, with what was left of her heart..But he would always be the one who truly owned it...no matter how much she tried to fight that fact.........But he had asked her to do something, something she was not sure she could do.........How could she hand over the one person who could have saved her from a lifetime of longing for Gabriel? How could she do such a thing?
It was a war in her mind, but as the darkness slowly began to seep outward, its tendrils creeping into her every memory, her every thought, her every desire, she knew that if it was what she must to in order to save herself, then she would.......
Though, part of her knew, that in the end she would have done it...She would have sacrificed her life for that man, and the lives of all those she loved for him.......
Now, however, she was willing to do such in order to seek out his help, or at the very least, some comfort before she finally fell into her impending madness.
Picking up the phone, she punched in a text......sending it with a heavy sigh as she laid the phone down and looked up at the ceiling....
She needed to speak to him, needed him to come here, now....But the question remained....Would he?
All she could do was hope.......

Subtle yet sweet were the words of lovers but in a world of more torrential pains was there any worth of love to be found. The constant struggle between complexes that strike out against us creating what we'd once seen of the world into something more brash and less wanting....
The small vibration of a phone settled within the lined pockets of Uriel's clothes. Today he was rather lightly dressed, perhaps to keep up appearances to those who may draw a curious gaze. His light grey slacks were met evenly with a blue button up shirt, equal in color to his pale eyes dim with expression.
Scanning over the text quickly his emotions went from neutral to infuriated, not at the woman but for the fact that he'd have to play as his blasted cousin for another afternoon. Of all the curses he'd have to impose on someone the chains he'd attached to himself were by far the most imposing.
"David.... get my limo." Uri would command in a prim voice as the student, in his zombie-like state would reply, "YES MY LORD!"
The advantages of having such power, total command, why couldn't he just command this woman to be his slave like the others? She was too headstrong perhaps driven by ideologies only a mad man would give another. His cousin was undoubtedly at fault for this.
Ignoring the vice he'd hold over his cousin Uriel would take off aided by a personal guard of his own slaves. They'd do anything he'd commanded in an event of such turmoil. Once in the apartment however spelled a different arrangement. To draw such men into a personal setting would loose her, so now this meant he'd have to play her game.
"Take the other rooms, if I need you take action."
He'd say silently on the outside as his men split taking opposite rooms adjacent to her's. The walls were thin enough one could shout and they'd burst through, the perfect ambush.
*knock knock*
And Uriel would be there silently awaiting at the door.

The sound of a knock was not the first thing to draw her attention...There was a dull throb of numb emotions seeming to come from the hallway and the dissipate just before the simple tap of two knocks could be heard upon her door.
She waited.....Why? Because in the entire time she had spent with Gabriel the man had never knocked...okay well he knocked but he never waited for somebody to open the door....he always found his way in....The owner of whatever room he seemed to come upon....
Her brow raised......Perhaps somebody else? Some friend of Sasha's?
She pushed herself off from the couch, leaving the phone and the card behind as she moved to open the door....As her eyes settled upon that figure, she could simply look at him a bit.....curiously....
"Since when did you await me to answer the door?"
Perhaps he had changed? Okay yeah two years did a lot to people but it did not change them in such a manner as to affect their basic human structure...No, he was just off today...That had to be it.....
Shaking her head she stepped aside, allowing him into "her" apartment as she tucked a bit of hair back behind her ears. Honestly she did not know where to start, she was at a loss here. She had vowed to tell him everything and yet this one thing she had kept locked away within herself......
Once he had entered, she stuck her head out into the hall, eyes seeking out the others she had felt only moments before....
"Did you have somebody with you?"
She pulled herself back, slowly closing the door and brushing her tongue over her lips. Gods he had gotten even more paranoid than she remembered....But whatever...She really did not care....
Either way she turned, her hands going behind her back as her body leaned into the door...Those icy hues shifting upward toward his direction, wherever that might have been....
"I will give you Victor.....But I need your help."
She spoke softly, almost as if she was asking instead of stating....Why? Because you never told Gabriel what to do...You asked...
"Will you?"
She spoke softly still as her eyes continued to look at him...She was stressed, tired and above all out of her element, with all that had been going on as of late. She was seeking out the only true help she knew of .....Sadly for her, it was only an illusion in her mind....

Waiting, Uriel never liked waiting, instead he occupied his time by tapping his foot roughly against the floor. She was here of else she'd not contact him and if this was a silly lovers game he'd be certainly vexed by the ideal of which. Patience, he had to be patient with this one if he wanted to win his game. Then again Uri had never been gifted with the dealings of people like his cousin had, or perhaps he evaded people because he knew them all too well. Like a plague.
Cocking his head at an angle he made a noise from his mouth purveying his short irritation as a subtle hand came up out of simple repetition and wafted a dangling strand from his eyes.
"Since when did you await me to answer the door?"
Uri cocked a brow seeing the door give way. She gave away subtle thought out secrets of Gabriel's nature with these words that'd make for Uriel's infiltration, something to be quite easy. To abuse her fragile mind perhaps. Though there was always a means to an end and destroying her would be all too simple and deconstructive to his long term ordeals.
"..."
"Did you have somebody with you?"
Uriel turned to eye the hallway to make sure that the other had found suitable hide-aways from site, if they were discovered things would get out of hand, this was more of his end game result.
"No... Just me..."
"I will give you Victor.....But I need your help."
Good now he had what he wanted but then again there was strings attached, there had to be away around this. A way for him to not have to appease to the wants of an obviously deranged woman. But he couldn't even express his thoughts, he had to wait there being complacent an patient.
"Of course..."

She felt a slight tug at her heart......Was she doing the right thing? After all the pain he had brought upon her, after all the love and devotion she had given him....he had left.......
But he was here......
Did it matter? He was here only because he wanted something....Nothing more and nothing less. Biting upon her lower lips softly she finally pushed herself away from the door. A few slow steps moving toward him, a deep breath as she kept her eyes to the floor.....Letting the weight of her decision weigh upon her as she drew in a deep breath......
"I am slipping Gabriel....Further than you could imagine...It is not just the voices....they were always there....to protect me......But they are gone now...or at least....I believe they are...."
She tried to hide the panic in her tone, she knew that when the day came that she did loose it, that those she loved, those she held closest would be in danger of her.....She feared it and yet that darker part of her craved their fear, their pain, their suffering.....
Why should it not? They had done nothing to stop her pain. Only increased it....Each one tearing a little more out of her heart until she had nothing left to give this world......She could never fully have given herself to Mischa, no matter the delusion she put herself in.......Because she was never whole...never complete...always in pain always suffering...It was what she lived for, and though now, it hurt........she knew that it had always been the darker side of her seeking it out, making the wrong choices in order to feed its need for those harmful emotions......
Finally, as she came up to him, stopping a few inches from where he stood, she let her head tilt back and those eyes to look up at him....Biting her lip softly as she tried to hide the tears that were filling her eyes...Unstable yes, but he had no idea......
Icy hues shimmering with the light that filtered through the windows and the combination of those watery tears........
"Please Gabriel....I..I do not know what to do....."
Her tone was softer, pleading...seeking out the only one who had ever helped her in this type of situation before.....The one who knew all her little quirks and her weird ways.....
He had to be able to think of something...anything.....
"I told you that I would give my life and the ones of those I love for you....I would surrender anything for you.....I devoted my life to serving you and to loving......All I ask now, is that you please...help me...I do not know what to do anymore...."
She whimpered softly trying to bite back the noise but unable to help it....Just as she could not help the dull throb of fear that filled the room around them.......yet always now, within her emotions, was that tinge of hunger...of need...of hatred....the more evil part of her nature bleeding into every part of her being....slowly....but very very surely........

Uriel didn't grin nor show any tell tell signs of affection, rather a cold demeanor of neutrality as he found himself a spot in the room, a large leather chair. It was befitting his demeanor and attire something that related to him as the convection of his body and the skin shared the same cold resolve of unison. A lean favoring his left side tilted using that elbow to prop him up into a position befitting a bored Prince only half listening to her emotional spews. Some women seemed to be on their periods all the time. Cocking his gaze to situate away from her and rather unto the back wall in a thoughtful pose and easy way to conceal his cold disposition.
"I am slipping Gabriel....Further than you could imagine...It is not just the voices....they were always there....to protect me......But they are gone now...or at least....I believe they are...."
Hiding away a cocky laugh of arrogance he lurked behind his suitable mask. So she was a schizo it figured she'd be on edge at all times, having voices and all commanding. That only left Uriel's voice to compete with the others now for totalitarian command.
"I told you that I would give my life and the ones of those I love for you....I would surrender anything for you.....I devoted my life to serving you and to loving......All I ask now, is that you please...help me...I do not know what to do anymore...."
Quite the proposition, giving her life to that of a Dark Prince. Foolish girl. The memory of the meeting with his sister popped in his mind. This girl was Kevala, engaged to Mischa her common enemy and just a stepping stone away from Gabriel. That meant the pieces were coming together. Get rid of all distractions, and delude the poor girl.
"Kevala..." Uriel would speak in a willowy tone extending his hand outward in a graceful fashion befitting the prince. His long fingers stretched to cup her chin and wipe away the freely flowing tears forming at her eyes.
"Do you trust me ma belle?" Of course he knew the answer he just wanted it as his weapon at the ready and poised in his grip for the fleeting strike. "Mischa.... she's just like the rest of them, she doesn't want to be with you ... In time you'll see the only thing you can do to make you happy my dear is to..."
This is where the strike would be made, at the heart and implore a dark insidious malice to take over. "OBEY THE SERAN FAMILY."
The golden eye would make its effect none focusing full power unto her being. It may not have worked but it'd leave an impression, that impression being bolstered soon as Uri and Chantel had dealt with the loose ends, namely Mischa. IT was all just a game, and URi would collect these pieces.

She leaned into that touch, gods help her she had missed it...but still she could not get past the feeling that something was off, he was not as warm as before.......
But then those words he asked.....They made her brow raise a bit as she looked at him almost in shock....
"Of course I trust you Gabriel.....Why else would I have given you my heart.....fully and completely.....done everything...no questions asked.....I was always yours....in trust and in love...You simply could never be with me......."
That old familiar sting hit her heart as she tried to suck it back in before it filled the air too much.....trying much harder now to control her emotions.......Then those words that seemed to seep into her mind........that hatred in her seeming to creep outward slowly.....filling more and more of her thoughts........Leave her? She did not want her?
"But...the baby...."
Yes, if Mischa was just like the rest......then...why would she have gotten herself pregnant...gone through all that for Kev? She could not believe this......Yet that paranoia she always felt tugged at her mind......He had never lied to her.....Only ommitted the truth here and there.........
Then, just like that, those words left his lips and something inside her mind seemed to give way just a bit more.....The crimson which had been absent mostly now began to spread through her eyes......Her tongue brushing over her lips slowly....
The darker side of her coming out to play if only for a moment....
"You are not Gabriel....He is the one I want dead...He has hurt me more than anything.....Destroyed me...tells me he loves me...then just turns away....leaves me......"
She tilted her head and took a step closer, those eyes looking up at him as she put her hand on his chest, her own electrical current slowly seeping out of her finger tips, seeking out his inner being.....as she grinned slightly......
"What do I get if I serve the Seran family? What do I get when I shed myself of this caring facade that I have been forced to live by and decide to walk a......darker...path?"
Nothing in life was free.....She wanted something....and only then would she be satisfied.....That electrical current finding its mark and then followed by a flow of hatred, desire for blood, death, repayment to all those who had hurt her over the years.....Attempting to soak those emotions into him let him see the true nature that was dying to be set free.........That little trick of his unlocking the door for a brief moment in time......

All certainly interesting developments for sure. They came spewing out of the irrational girl all it took was a patient mind to pick the rest free. Patience. A new talent he was developing for himself. He could always use the men in the rooms beside him to corner her and force his bidding but watching her slowly unravel was quite a bit more amusing to a point where another different voice of sorts came free. The one who'd lured him here. Yes they were different and now the puzzle was free and clear the woman were the same.
Finally his grin broke free. "Congratulations aren't we astute." He chuckled moving his hands into a clapping gesture. Quite the cocky bastard he was. Evidently Confidence wasn't lacking.
Even as the touch of her voltage seethed under his skin and across his body he fought the reflex to twitch. Always an expert at keeping face with people. Wincing his eye however he sought to take full advantage of this lapse in judgment.
"What will you get of it? Power, Revenge, Perhaps even a purpose..." He chuckled bemusedly finally standing from the chair not allowing her the supremacist victory of prancing about him in a domineering fashion.
"I think thats what you're looking for isn't it?" Uriel mused to himself slowly piecing the girl together or at least trying to draw out her insecurities, "Roaming the night for fun and playthings bides the time but I don't suppose you get anywhere from it, what if you could take full advantage of the power I lend you to the point where you have those who mock you bow at your very feet?"
A confident grin showing true on his features before disappearing. "The option my dear is yours... I'll be sure to assist in keeping you present take that as an act of trust on my behalf."

She raised her brow, her fingers leaving his chest to brush under his chin for a moment as she shook her head...Tsk tsk..Silly man...Too early in the game to start presuming anything.....
"Power? I do not want power. You do. So do not play me like some puppet. I have been played that part too many times. No, what I want is pain..suffering...I want blood and hopelessness...."
The red fading, those icy hues now shining brighter than they ever had she thought for a moment...a little grin playing at the corner of her lips.....Trust? Hah!
"Trust? I have played that game as well. Leave it at this....I dont trust you, you do not trust me, if you do...you are a fool....Something I could sense through your touch that you are not......It is something earned and even then, those you trust betray you......."
She moved over to him, her fingers trailing over him as she mused to herself even though speaking outloudly....
"You want Gabriel....Why I do not really care....What I want is simple..."
Her tone taking on a darkner nature, the evil nature of her true self breeding into the air around them, dark tendrils of hatred and twisted reality wrapping about them both as she moved closer to him, her fingers gripping his collar as she tugged him to her, her beautiful face inches from him......
"I want blood.....but not his...I want that bitch next to him...I want her head....and I want her head in a box...On his hightly polished desk.....His precious Alexis Green....love of his life....Then, when he snaps..You can have him....I do not care....I want him to feel pain...the same pain he gave to me....He took my heart...now...I want his...."
She pressed her lips together, blowing a little kiss his way before releasing him and stepping back.....
"As for power.....You may obtain it...I will assist...For now.....Or until you give me sufficient reason to remain by your side..."

Listening her proposition out through however defiant she was it seemed like an obvious deal all too well created what was he to reply to this other then an all too obvious yes. A quirky grin as she tried appealing towards his more sexual driven male bravado. However it'd fall upon def and defiant patience when the Seran blood was driven enough they sought everything out till the very end.
Lying back in his seat he quirked his brow letting her act out somewhat of a performance to his eyes before acting too relieved that her deal was all to simple, he had to act enamored and thoughtful because thats exactly what he wanted. Gabriel Seran had to suffer knowing he'd stolen something that didn't belong to him.
"Deal..."
His response quick and without restraint however he drew that single word out in a slow accentuated response. However with his disapproving look of boredom he rose from the chair obviously towering over her by a good head or two.
"If that is all I'll be in touch..." Turning about he'd be met at the door by a pair of flanking guards.
"Better work on that silver tongue of yours if you're going to get close enough...." He'd say without looking back bringing a snicker into view.

She raised he brow as she leaned back against the wall, her eyes following him as he moved and listening to each word....A brush of her tongue to her lips....
Work on her silver tongue huh? She grinned....Tsk tsk...Silly man....
"I already found Victor's brother....And believe it or not...I got Gabriel to trust me..and I got Victor to trust me.....I even got that little bitch to trust me after she found out I kissed her lovely little Gabriel....Do not understimate me.....Amazing what a nice smile, some kind words and a little emotional manipulation can get you...."
She then yawned, checking her watch to look at the time....Ugh! Almost time to go "home"....She reached down, grabbing her bag as she made way to the door, eyes having already spotted the two guards he carted around....and shaking her head....
"And I thought Gabriel was paranoid. Hehe..Well, you need to bring more next time you come to play with me...."
Pushing her way past him and then making her way down the hall of the apartment complex..past the other units......Turning around to look at him as she continued backward for a few steps.
"Oh and by the way....Alexis is a little scam artist...liar...cant help herself...and well Gabriel will do anything for her...Sooo..before you chop her pretty little head of, you may want to use her to bargain with.....Then....return her.....just...in pieces..."
She shrugged, turned around and left...Not really bothering with him anymore....Yes...if she could make Gabriel suffer, make him feel a fraction of what he had done to her....She would be happy...Until of course....It became somebody else's turn to suffer........
