Alex walked down the hallway, holding his book bag over his right shoulder, as he bumped into a guy who had been walking down the opposite way with his buddies, it was an accident obviously, but Alex guessed he had bumped into the guy hard enough that the bottle he had been taking a sip from splashed down the front of his shirt, but not just any liquid had been in the bottle, no, it had to be Coke. Alex continued down the hallway, hoping the guy didn't hold a grudge against Alex for that. Wrong. Hearing loud footsteps come thumping from behind him, Alex quickly swerved around, only to see a fist come flying straight at his face. Alex reacted immediately, and ducked down and evaded to the side, as the guy's fist flew right past Alex and connected with the back of a some guy's head that had just been minding his own business.
The jock however, didn't bother to see if the guy he punched the lights out of was alright, instead, he turned around and charged once more right at Alex, who ducked below his fist, and rose up with a quick jab, lifting the guy up in the air for a moment before sending him flying backwards, landing with a loud thump on the floor, completely dazed. His buddies helped him to his feet, and quickly fled, as Alex watched them head down the hallway. He then heard a groan of pain come from behind him, as he turned around, a look of dread quickly appearing on his face. Now that the jock who had decked the guy out was gone, it looked like Alex had been the one who knocked the guy out even though he didn't. This was not looking good for poor Alex.
Uh oh...

Xaier had been minding his own business when out of nowhere a fight broke out behind him. Normally he would have payed attention, but he hadn't realized that they were litterly a few steps behind him. He felt someone's knuckles connect with the back of his head, and the Senior's instincts took over immediantly as his left leg slide forward and his weight was transfered to it, as his head fell forward and down from the impact. Those emerald eyes would immediantly narrow, a small groan escaping his lips due to the unexpected knuckle sandwich he had just received.
Xaier's right leg would slide forward as if it was moving to meet his left, only the platinum blond male's body would twist counter-clockwise and pull a 180 to settle those luminous green orbs upon the male directly behind him. The senior's formerly straight face would soon change to a slight frown as he settled upon the face of the one he assumed had just punched him in the back of the head. The senior's single strapped backpack would soon slip off his shoulder and thud upon the linolium floor, before it was kicked across the floor into the nearby lockers.
"You know.. It's awefully disrespectful to hit someone when they least expect it."
Xaier's normally kind tone was replaced with a slighty agitated one. The former 552er's hopes of a peaceful senior year at his new high-school seemed to have shattered upon the punch he recieved from this jerk he was now staring at. As his words had slipped from his mouth, Xaier's hands would have slide behind his back and into the pockets of those slightly baggy, black jeans. From the depths the McCaine child would slip out a pair of what seemed to be a simple pair of leather gloves, with a slightly rough grip on the palm and fingers. A simple slip of both his hands that those fingers would fold as the leather creaked slightly. Nice snug-fitting pair of leather gloves, though they were certainly more then meets the eye.
"Are you the kind of guy who picks on the new people? Because.. I think you might have made a mistake this time."

"..." Alex could definitely tell the guy was less than thrilled about receiving an unwanted knuckle sandwich to the head from his agitated tone of voice, only problem was, Alex hadn't been the one that delivered said knuckle sandwich, he had been the one that the punch was meant for, not the guy that was staring at him now. "... It's also not nice to accuse someone of something they didn't do." Alex replied back calmly as he saw the guy slip his hands behind his jeans, as a pair of gloves materialized on the guy's hands out of nowhere, when it was pretty obvious, he just slipped them on. They looked like a pretty normal pair of gloves, but Alex wasn't going to take any chances. Alex deposited his book bag down on the floor and up against the lockers, his wooden bokken strapped to his belt.
"... I don't pick on anyone, period. I like to mind my own business." Alex said simply, maintaining the fact that he didn't do anything to the guy, contrary to the evidence, he had been the only other guy left in the hallway after the guy had recovered, since the guy that had really punched Xaier had to be carted off by his buddies, whom skedaddled from the scene soon after Alex had punched the jock's lights out, naturally he would've come to the conclusion Alex had done it, who else could've done it? The ghost that haunts the basement? I didn't think so either. But Alex wasn't stupid enough to punch someone, accidental or not. He hated unnecessary fights, and generally kept to himself. Alex knew he didn't do anything, but it looked like the guy thought otherwise. What a drag...

Xaier took in the other male's words, but he wasn't so sure he was telling the truth. He had encountered a lot of liars over the years and he wasn't so sure this was any different. Xaier's hands would drop to his sides once again after he pulled on the gloves, resting there while he relaxed his body. Those emerald orbs would lock upon Kazuya as he sized the boy up briefly. The fingers of his hands would stretch wide, before closing into a fist. Once they unformed again, Xaier would make his move.
Dartin forward, his arms swaying by his sides as he kicked off the ground and sped toward Kazuya to clear the distance between them. It wouldn't take long before he would slip within striking range, and Xaier's body would twist counter-clockwise as his right arm would lift upward swifting and his right hand would be sent straight toward the center of Kazuya's chest. The palm of his hand was looking to collide against his body and force him back. It was a simple first attack, but not the normal Jab. His right leg sliding forward across the ground to keep a solid base.
While he had hoped to try and avoid trouble this year, old habits died hard. Xaier was beginning to feel that familiar rush overtake him, the thrill of battle would soon take hold. Those emerald orbs watching intently as he approached and threw his attack. It was time to see if this punk was any good at anything other then sucker punching people in the back of the head.

It would seem that Alex's attempt to defend his innocence was futile, as the guy darted straight for Alex after dropping his hands to the side, as he flexed and curled his hands. The guy was fast, he cleared the distance between the two of them in a matter of a seconds, giving Alex barely enough time to react. The guy twisted his body counter-clockwise, his right arm lifted swiftly, as he aimed straight at the center of Alex's chest with a flat-palmed strike. Alex twisted his body to the left, his right arm swung out, colliding with the inner part of the guy's arm to counter his strike and effectively blocking the guy's hand from connecting with Alex's chest, which would've resulted in a very painful blow that would send Alex backwards.
Alex would then proceed to launch a strike of his own, as he fired a flat-palm strike at the guy's chest, his legs spread out evenly, preventing any leg sweeps. Alex knew he had his bokken to use if he needed to, but he felt there was no honor in fighting armed when his opponent was unarmed. He was going to fight this battle on even terms, and fairly, even if the guy was unconvinced that Alex didn't punch him from behind. Although Alex had the tendency to using kicks, it also left him open to being knocked off balance when in such close proximity, for now, he was going to stick to punches. Old habits die hard indeed. The rush of relying purely on his instincts flooded back to Alex in an instant, something he had not experienced long after graduating.

Xaier's right arm would soon feel his opponent's hand connect against his arm, deflecting it off to the side so that it wouldn't meet it's mark. But it was at that moment that Xaier's body would react. His forward leg would take on his weight as his left would slide forward, that left arm of his lifting upward with his forearm horizontal. His left arm would lift up to slam against the bottom of his opponent's own incoming arm. It seemed he was trying to send the same attack back toward him, but Xaier was sure he'd be able to deflect it and knock it upwards.
Having brought his left side forward to knock Kazuya's strike away, Xaier's right arm would cock back as his haulted from being knocked away. The senior's torso would give a quick twist and that right arm would once again go on the offense, this time it was sent low as he'd aim to slam those knuckled gloves into Kazuya's ribcage on the left side. The secrets of his gloves wouldn't be revealed yet, if at all. He wouldn't use the powers they gave him unless he felt it was absolutely necessary.
The rush of the fight was taking hold, and he had honestly missed it. He would just have rather it was against someone that was consenting, and it was simply for fun. This wasn't though, he had felt violented. Attacked without reason, and he needed people here to understand that he wasn't going to allow them to push him around for no reason, that he wasn't just another weak student wandering the halls. Xaier would make it known that he wanted to be left alone, and he would take it up physically with anyone that wanted to bother him.

Alex felt the guy's left fist slam against the bottom of his arm, his arm sent flying upwards. Alex couldn't help but smirk a little. Not bad. The guy then cocked his right arm back, before firing his fist low after twisting his torso, aiming for the left side of Alex's ribcage. Alex's right fist would appear out of nowhere, having recovered after countering the guy's first strike, as he proceeded to slam his fist straight into the guy's incoming fist. Pain reverberated through Alex's fist, as he recovered from the strike, and backed off a bit, putting a bit of distance between him and his opponent. Alex liked fights, it gave him a opportunity to improve his skills, though this fight, he wished it had less to do with revenge, and more to do with just fighting for fun.
This guy was no pushover and definitely not weak, it didn't take a genius to figure that much out. His strikes were pretty powerful, and his reaction time was on par with Alex's. All in all, a worthy opponent in Alex's eyes. Pity, if only the circumstances they had met each other were better. Alex was never one to provoke a stranger into a fight, most of his fights had been against people he knew. Just like the guy, Alex wasn't going to use his bokken unless he felt it was absolutely necessary. It looked like the only way Alex was going to prove he was innocent, was to fight the guy until only one of them emerged as the victor.

Xaier had always been one to put pressure on his opponents. He had learned that giving people room to breath was definitely not the thing to do. Having grown up in a place like 552, Xaier had come to understand that the more you made an opponent want to try to retreat, the more hopeless he would feel if you closed the distance and kept the first. Not to mention the next move that popped into the Senior's head woud only feel natural, and would be easy to pull of seeing as Kazuya was attempting to back up to get some room.
Xaier's left side was already leading, so what would happen next would be simple. Pivoting clock-wise, Xaier's body would give a rapid spin as his right side would swing around as he pulled lifted his right arm to level with his shoulder. Xaier would give a swift and fluent 360 as Kazuya backed off. Had the boy not moved, the emerald eyed senior would have probably planted his elbow against Kazuya's head. Instead that slightly numb right hand of his that had collided with Kazuya's own fist would whip around as he attempted to land his spinning back-hand against the right side of his opponent's head.
It definitely wasn't the most common kind of attack, and due to the other boy's retreat he had a feeling that it was entirely possible his fist would connect. From his judgements so far, he figured the kid could move about the same speed as him, but he wasn't so sure he could react in time to stop it. He wasn't worried about being hit while he spun because the spin was rather quick, and once again Kazuya had been retreating.
This was what Xaier DID for a living. While he had originally attended 552 for his education, it had quickly changed into feeding his addiction for physical comptetition. And he had certainly fought some of the best.

When it came to pressure, Alex wasn't one to succumb to it so easily. Just as he moved back a little, he saw the guy pivot clock-wise into a rapid spin, swinging his right side around, his right arm leveled with his shoulder, as he did a 360, his right hand whipping around in an attempt to back hand Alex up side the head, instead of burying his elbow in the side of Alex's head had Alex not moved. Alex couldn't completely dodged or block it in time, seeing as he was still in motion, but he did manage to tilt his head back far enough that the guy's hand swished past Alex's head, he could literally feel the breeze of air from the strike. Wasting no time, Alex bounded forward, immediately closing the small distance between him and the guy, as he launched a flurry of rapid punches. Alex knew just as well that in a fight, the last thing you wanted to do was give your opponent time to breathe and recuperate.
Having been in more fights than he could count, and graduating from one of the most violent schools in the state, Alex was quickly easing back into his element, this where he belonged. Not letting up on his barrage of punches, Alex wasn't going to give this guy a chance to catch his breath, he might be able to react in time, but Alex was going to pile the pressure on just as the guy had done to him. His punches just blurs, at first, his attacks had been blocked, but soon he felt his punches connect with the guy, and before he knew it, he had worn the guy out to the point the guy wasn't even blocking anymore. With one last punch, putting all his strength into it, Kazuya's fist slammed into the guy, sending him to the ground, knocking the guy out. Adrenaline surging through him, Alex stood panting over the guy, who laid on the ground unconscious. Deciding right then what to do, Alex picked the guy up off the ground, and took him to the infirmary. Alex wasn't that heartless, he wouldn't just leave such a good fighter in the middle of the hallway. Still... that had been one hell of fight, as short as it had been.
