*BBBRRRRRRRIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG!!*
It would seem as though classes had clearly just ended and time was generally of the essence to escape this prison and make way to get home. Though sympathies were often tilted, different people having different concerns about the matter and thusly different ideals as to how they viewed school they reacted differently. Then again there were many who walked at a slow trudging place through the courtyard being "cool" even though the bustle seemed to entice a traffic jam round the courtyard.
The otherworldly voices of students jostling for either attention or a lead on the others was equivalent to that of a horse track. Their jockeys shoving and prodding at another easing off and lunging forward, always the heavy musk of human breath contingent on repeating those heavy cycles. Hmph hmph hmph. And then the aww of the crowd and attention hurtling back as a fight broke out.
Two teens, the idealistic battle of David and Goliath, a short staunch skinny russet haired youth vs. A giant jet black haired monster. Their paces marched in a predictable pattern each looking for the others weakness, or a sign of dropping guard. In a second it broke further as those jostling for a position became uneasy hitting another. Then it burst into an all out brawl.
A curious contemplative grin on the face of a certain Blonde Nobility while he lurked just outside of the center there stood 3 football players. 2 of them being linebackers covering his front from danger a third the largest of which was a lineman who covered his flank. All of whom had an uneasy glaze in their eyes. The Dark Lord at the center with a sure smile.
Each step he took the others followed in quick succession guiding his movements. He was marching his way to the center rather than away from the group, yes this was perhaps a contemptible strategy but for him it was a keepsake.

Just as the young blond man of nobility that was surrounded by his bodyguards made up of three members of the football team was in no hurry to head home after classes were done for the day, so too was Alex in no hurry to leave. Instead of heading towards the main entrance of the school, Alex walked down the hallway in the opposite way, one hand casually shoved in the pocket of his dress pants, the other holding his wooden bokken over his right shoulder, as he passed by students walking down the hallway towards the door while chatting with their friends. Pushing the door leading to the courtyard open, Alex walked out of the school, minding his own business and generally keeping to himself, as the sounds of the fight that had broken out in the center of the courtyard reached him, causing him to pause in mid-step, as he walked over to the circle of people that had crowded around the two fighters.
He watched the fight with mild interest... for about two seconds. Quickly becoming bored of the fight, Alex instead turned his attention to the group of four that marched towards the center, rather than keep away from the group as most students were wisely doing. Not really caring for the reason behind why they were heading towards the fight, Alex stood in the outer circle, his height allowing him to see past the heads of the crowd at the two fighters that pounded away at each other, both fighters starting to get worn out from the fight. While the crowd was watching the fight, Alex watched the group of four coming closer, unable to see the glazed look in the three football members, since they were still quite a distance away, a bored expression on his face, only mildly interested as to what was going to happen.

Point?
Thats right things had to have a point didn't they, a rhyme or reason for people doing things. That was the essence of man's growth and existence, repeating itself in somewhat Neanderthal like cycles. Plan, Grow, Destroy. Over and over. So what was the reason for this action? For this dispersal and perhaps show of power? Well call it pride. Uriel was proud of his nature and he wanted to become king. Gluttony, he wanted others to do his bidding, why expand himself when he could simply use other people to his own will. Wrath, The obvious nature of humans was to cause havoc and destroy other people to build themselves up. Perhaps Uriel had poor self-confidence and needed this semblance of power to keep his head on straight. O perhaps he was just ruthless in nature.
By the time he'd gotten to the center with his armed guards David and Goliath were already tuckered out. Their heaving chests barely stable enough to hold them. One or two fists thrown with a weak distention was quite embarrassing as far as Uriel had seen but it was quite the show they put up evident enough that he should take their strengths and put them to use.
The two Linebackers split formation once getting to the center while the lineman stayed at the rear. Now enveloped into the protective circle Uriel was locked in with David and Goliath.
"Now isn't this intriguing... I find myself here with a pair of low brow students who fight for little more than position.... Tsk."
Goliath tried moving to detest but Uriel timed this perfectly, with a nod he moved his hand to seethe through his hair revealing the eye of Ra.
"You two shall obey me, as my slaves!"
The light in their eyes dissipated slowly and a grayish Zombified feature replaced it.
"Yes My Lord!"
A victorious grin looking up over his shoulder at the crowd, seems things were falling into place.

By the time the group of four reached the center, the two fighters had already worn themselves out. "Tch." That was pretty pathetic, at least, to Alex it was pathetic, both fighters had minimal stamina, to say the least. Then again, they were average, run-of-the-mill kids, what did he expect? A couple weak punches were thrown, they both looked like even a gentle breeze would be enough to knock them over. Alex's attention however, was on the group of four, as the linebackers split their formation while the lineman stayed put behind the blond-haired guy, who was now surrounded in a protective circle with the two fighters. Alex's eyes flared in mild surprise as a zombified look appeared in the two fighters eyes, it was barely noticeable, but it was there.
The two fighters then answered the blond male, addressing him as "Lord." Somebody watched too many "The Tudors" episodes. What was this, jolly 'ol England? The male then looked up and grinned in victory over his shoulder at the crowd, looking he like just won the Battle of Waterloo, as Alex made eye contact with him, a grim look on his face, the single one among the sea of confused expressions of the whispering crowd. But Alex wasn't interested in the reason behind it, he was interested in what caused the two guys to suddenly become grunts of the blond male, and on the off-chance it was the blond himself that caused this, how exactly did he go about doing so? "... How interesting..."

While there were many of the group ushering whispers and comment about their new found confusion the one he'd made eye contact seemingly mouthed something Uriel didn't reply seeing as their was now an ocean of eye upon his each one performing the same enactment. What was it to him if there was one of the group that made notice at his actions? Of course it didn't matter, so regardless he strode forward once again back fro where he'd come drawing the silent and wide-eyed complacent looks, that of potential sheeps wanting to discover the notice of an end to conflict. Not through superiority of might but through mind. then again was it the show of force that'd silenced these two warriors or rather was it the Capable Lord? Seemed as though word was different mouth to mouth as it changed and grew exponentially like a virus.
Once he'd gotten to the center fountain he'd turn taking a spot atop it curiously with a sentimental gaze that unlike his normal scowling facade. At the top of this peak the two warriors bowed before him.
"WE SWEAR OURSELVES TO YOU LORD SERAN!"
A coy grin emerged out of "humble" affiliation patting the two to take his sides, one to each.
"Witness the command of true leadership, no blood spilled tis day to end a conflict. Only that of talk, united in the end to solve our differences without the accessory of Spear or sword, Follow my leadership and we shall supersede this dictoral place and carve our own paths united."
Almost as though he'd prepared it all along Uriel used the word United. Though under him of course. United for what cause other than propel the movement forward. Control, Command, Peace.

Unaffected by the realization that there was one single person among the sea of confused faces that had noticed the actions performed, the blond male strode back to where he had come from, drawing the attention of the crowd, who watched him in silence, with almost idiotic wide-eyed expressions on their faces, looking very much like they were in the presence of the Crown Prince and would obey every single command he issued, no questions asked. They were nothing but potential sheep, all of them, all waiting expectantly for the long-sought goal of peace in the school. It seemed everyone had a different idea in mind, as whispers chattered unceasingly all around Alex. Once he had reached the center fountain, the blond male took a spot right on top of it, as the two fighters bowed down to him, addressing him as "Lord SERAN" now. Another Seran, oh joy. Just how many of them were there in this goddamn world!?
The two fighters than took a place on either side of the Seran male, a coy smile on his face, as the whispers intensified, while Alex's expression grew more and more grim with each passing moment. Alex knew from past experience, that while the end goal was something that would benefit everyone, the path and decisions taken to reach it wasn't the greatest. Gabriel was proof and testament to this. Alex was not going to be easily taken by the mini-speech the blond Seran gave, it sounded exactly what everyone wanted to hear, but Alex wasn't convinced. "... I don't buy it..." Alex muttered under his breath in a low voice, low enough that no one around him heard what he had said. He didn't follow a Seran back then, and he certainly wasn't going to follow a Seran now. "... I refuse..."

Regardless of defiance by some the masses commanded the sway of time and Uriel knew that all too well having received a long structured teaching in world history. His particular favorite being that of the European scale as well as meshing of Chinese battlement. It made him a very dangerous person to be carrying around such knowledge that collaborated with the power of masses only made him that much more threatening.
"I refuse.."
A simple group splitting by the back revealing the lone stranger, funny how he'd not noticed the boy. Regardless there was time to make show and time to dabble here and there but these were all movements on a board even his own at the other axis.
"Providence? That what compels you, good, we need that spirit. Stand up and question the powers which overtake you particularly that of your hierarchy."
The last bit not direct towards him but rather the masses as a whole. The embodiment of many was just as powerful as one and he knew that quite well. To give of himself in spirit meant to aim the hearts of many like pointed daggers.

Whispers broke out all around Alex at his statement of defiance, as the crowd parted in the middle revealing him with his hands in his pockets, the blond Seran may have not noticed Alex then, but he would certainly notice Alex now. Just a simple glance of his fierce and intense eyes were enough to send the crowd backing up and away from him, as he focused his gaze on the blond Seran. "... What compels me is not what you say, whom the blood of the Seran line flows through." Alex said simply, he was not a simple pawn whose movements were pre-planned in a chess game, like a puppet whose strings and movements were controlled by a puppeteer.
The last part of the blond Seran's reply was indeed directed less at him, and more at the crowd as a whole. "... I question the hierarchy and the powers it possess only when I feel the need to question." Alex was not an idiot who took on authority with no thought or care whatsoever, any move he ever made, was always carefully planned and thought out. If this blond Seran was anything like Gabriel, in that extremely ambitious, this school was in for one hell of a time. And this blond Seran reminded Alex very much of Gabriel, more than likely, he was very calculating and cunning, and probably had a manipulative side thrown into the mix too. FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC. "... I question and oppose your power."

A roll of a chuckle running in his throat ambitiously ignoring his "daring" pace through the crowd parting like the sheep they were. However there were the few still remaining in the crowd unphased that was because they were but slaves. Only logical people backed down when in the face of bold action. Bold being loosely defined. However one word did catch his attention.
"... What compels me is not what you say, whom the blood of the Seran line flows through."
His attention shifted to the boy ignoring what else he said. At that moment nothing else mattered, no vestige of power or control over students just his affiliation with another Seran more specific Gabriel...
"So... You know of another Seran? Pray tell what was his name? Where did you see him last?"
His words a bit more straightforward and demanding more than anything else. "Let me rephrase that, I'll relieve this vestige of power if you enlighten me with a bit of knowledge..."
There compromising commoners liked that didn't they? Because truly by now if he would be able to find his cousin and rid the world of his so called blood ties to this world Uri could leave this godforsaken place and take back his throne.

Just as Moses parted the Red Sea simply by stretching his hand out, so too did the crowd part in the middle, creating a path for the blond Seran simply by him walking towards them, as he made his way through the crowd. The students in the crowd were not stupid, they knew there was nothing to gain from fighting back, and everything to gain by not hindering him. They weren't about to risk losing everything, including the prospect of peace in the school, just to not be viewed simply as a sheep following the herd, or in this case, the majority. The blond Seran came to an immediate halt as his attention focused on Alex, his gaze never wavering from the blond. "... What of it? Jumping to conclusions are we? I never said I knew a Seran, let alone a male Seran." Alex was not going to just give answers simply because this blond Seran demanded it. He was not a damn servant, he had no obligation to tell him what he knew.
It was purely logical, the two students had addressed the blond as "Lord Seran," so therefore, the male would have the blood of the Seran line flowing through him, it was not rocket science. Alex smirked slightly, this Seran truly wanted answers badly if he was willing to relinquish the power he held, how many Serans did he know that would do that all for a little bit of knowledge? "... You already know who it is. As to where, it was much closer than you think, the same state." Extremely vague yes, but Alex wasn't going to just give information outright to a complete stranger, and a Seran on top of it. You can tell he didn't like anyone with the last name Seran very much. Kazuya then turned around, his back facing the blond Seran, just like Maximus did to Commodus in the movie "Gladiator," he had nothing left to say to the Seran, as he began to walk away.

Uriel smiled in return to the comment, so he didn't get the information he wanted but he got a spot of information nonetheless. It was easy enough to dissolve thus from the boy's defiant actions. Already ran into Gabriel it seems somewhere in the grandeur of this state most evident why else would Uriel be here than that knowledge alone. Let alone tracking his movement southward from San Francisco to Long Beach, it only made sense that this was his next target school. Therefore it made an evident statement that the boy had even less knowledge of Gabriel's whereabouts than Uriel did himself. Quite a ploy though positioning himself for power in an intrinsic pattern. Defying those who held it often got you attention however in a family of royalty Uriel had dealt with this play many times before.
"Ahh so you know nothing, I figured as much, thank you for clarifying."
He'd not even flinch as Kazuya turned away, with the gesture of his palm he'd wave the bow off a farewell disregarding him completely and rather turning back to his crowd bitting with those who'd lost interest now in the prospect of a fight the second the boy turned away only proving Uriel the victor.
"So what shall it be my people? Unison, Rise as one and grow we shall from these turbid times and become something greater."

"... You'd do well to watch your back. Gabriel has more enemies than one as ambitious as he is would like to believe. The very fact you share the same last name and bloodline with him would be enough to provoke those who bear a grudge against him. He could be here, he could be halfway around the world. But I'm willing to bet he is somewhere here in San Diego." Alex said before he turned to walk off, as he started to make his way through the crowd, but stopped in mid-step, as he smirked slightly before shaking his head slightly. ... Foolish Seran. "... You believe you can unite this school, bring peace and end the violence that has spread and corrupted this school as well?" Alex injected, as he stood with his back facing the blond Seran. "... You're just as ambitious as Gabriel was. He tried to bring peace, but in the end, all it brought him was his allies leaving, and his enemies opportunities to strike him."
Alex turned around, his overcoat swishing from the sudden movement. "... If you believe you can bring peace to this school, than prove it. This school is just as violent as the high school I graduated from, if you honestly believe you can bring peace and unity, than show me... no, this crowd, what you can do, LORD Seran." The prospect of a fight re-emerging, the students that had lost interest before suddenly found their interest re-kindled, as Alex fixed the blond Seran with a defiant look, though in all honesty, it just made Alex look more fierce and intense than normal. Probably didn't help he looked like a gakuran-clad youth gang leader from Japan, especially with the wooden bokken in his right hand. "... If you truly think you can make this greater and lead the school out of these turbulent times, then prove it."

Again Uriel would roll his eyes simply acknowledging the boy's course of action, predictable, he wanted a rise out of Uriel that was the only explanation for his motions going headlong into the ploy and backing out only to return when the requested ideal wasn't clarified. Silly and obvious games made for a child. But Uri got what he wanted the name, it was his cousin Gabriel Seran the one who needed to die for his dream to be realized. Though the course of action remained unchanged he'd still be putting up a sturdy defense here at Public High School #774 to wait out his cousin's return and play the trap.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA.."
Uriel would laugh as though the boy had stated an evident joke, the other students either with mixed reactions or dimly confused at the boy's motives for laughing at such a dry resentment of duty and honor. Dry by means that no one followed to be honorable any more, they followed to get what they desired most. It would seem as though Gabriel left a scar on this boy enough so that his aggression would be thrust upon another blood relative.
"And would I need to prove it to you Mr...?" Uriel restated with something of an arrogant tone still the humored wax in his voice before his features shifted to that of a serious nature.
"A return to first principles in a republic is sometimes caused by the simple virtues of one man. His good example has such an influence that the good men strive to imitate him, and the wicked are ashamed to lead a life so contrary to his example." Uriel rambled off some literature he'd been fanciful with for most his life. And while most would not understand the reasonably in it the scripture spoke clearly for itself.
"It seems as though you're the one confused by my actions boy... you mistake righteousness for evil because it contradicts your own jealous heart, you are mislead by the ideals of another which mirror your own goals but because it is not you therefore it is not righteous. All lies within the eye of the beholder. And I suppose next I contradict you the next motion you make will be for my throat, best way to silence the wicked eh?"
Uriel grinned feeling victorious as it was. His body shrugging before bouncing down cleverly into the stead of his allies letting their positions take him up in arms and surround him. Turning away from the crowd most evidently splitting the people there he'd turn his head back to the boy for a last word, "Though I have no love for my cousin you must understand, I'd be the first to silence him." With a childish giggle he'd turn away back to the solemn march.

"... Hikari." Alex said simply, ignoring the arrogant tone mixed with the waxed humor in the blond Seran's voice, having paid no attention to the peal of laughter that had come from him, mixed reactions from the crowd surrounding him, some looked on in bewilderment, others in amusement, and still others with a dazed look... the last ones were probably under the blond Seran's command. "... I'm sorry, did you say something?" Alex asked, acting like he hadn't paid attention during the blond Seran's little speech and spiel, when in fact, Alex had heard every word the blond had said, he just chose to deliberately act like he hadn't, but not to infuriate the blond Seran, no, that wasn't his goal. Alex couldn't help but smirk inwardly, if he thought taking a stab at Alex's pride was enough to provoke him, this Seran was going to have to work on his technique, if it was one thing Alex was not, was proud. Alex's ego was not so inflated that one little pinprick would send it flying, never to be seen again.
Besides, there would be no point in tearing after the blond Seran like a wild animal, all it would really serve was to show that Alex would look like a raving lunatic, and he was far from being crazy. The blond Seran then grinned like he had won the war before stepping down and encircled by his allies. "... And what makes you think your ideals are righteous? You say I'm jealous, but is it not you who is the jealous one? After all, I heard that your cousin Gabriel had taken the throne of the Seran bloodline. Must be a shame to lose the throne to one such as he." Alex said to the blond Seran's back as he walked away. "... Clearly Gabriel was the superior one, if he managed to snatch away such a high position of power away from you, right in front of you." Alex's position in Hikari Industries had certainly proved useful, since Hikari Industries had connections with Seran Corporation, Alex had managed to hear a couple interesting bits of information, but none that pertained to Gabriel's whereabouts, but where Gabriel was currently was the least of Alex's concern. "... He will not be so easily silenced by you."

"... Hikari."
Uriel slowed his steps for a moment recognizing the statement shortly not directly remembering the context he'd heard it clearly in. Silly thing was it was just recently. Eventually his mellowed steps came to a halt stumped by what it was, like a torn in his side or the word at the end of his lips there and present but unreceptive to his refined thoughts.
"... And what makes you think your ideals are righteous? You say I'm jealous, but is it not you who is the jealous one? After all, I heard that your cousin Gabriel had taken the throne of the Seran bloodline. Must be a shame to lose the throne to one such as he."
A small wince though unnoticeable unless one was standing right in front of Uri. Though the sudden clamp of his heart tied shut over his mind beating and pulsating in an irritated fashion. No he didn't like what he was hearing and luckily enough he was straight faced enough to suppress his mild irritation over the boy enacting his cousin's successes.
"... Clearly Gabriel was the superior one, if he managed to snatch away such a high position of power away from you, right in front of you."
Subtly wincing even further, the boy had gotten under Uriel's skin damn right. Yes he could win the mental victory that was for sure but he'd be damned if This Hikari was going to make him break down before a crowd. Cousin cousin, what has he been up to poking his nose around in belingering nuisances business.
"... He will not be so easily silenced by you."
Biting his lower lip Uriel composed himself finding that inner Prince he so dutifully obliged his life to and swiveled about his hands placed behind his back in a precarious fashion, that of utmost respect and calm control. The contortions in his face once rivaling a snarling troll now shifted into the sweetness of a sugar coated angel.
"So what would you propose Mr. Hikari?"
A statement of respect and perhaps a degree of trust. Uriel knew the boy was right, he didn't have the physical abilities to defeat his cousin and he was simply fooling himself playing with this "troops" and thinking the masses would strike him down. This was a game of chess to be played two waring masses against one another and at some point he'd need help.
He who wishes to be obeyed must know how to command. -Niccolo Machiavelli
