Devon stood in the midst of three male forms, larger then his own, while all three wailed in pain. He calmly glanced from one form to the other as he wiped blood off the front of his hooded sweatshirt, although the stain would remain it wouldn't grow any larger then it already was.
One had attacked him with a kick, the result of which lead to his leg being caught while his knee was kicked backwards, and he laid on his back trying to resist the instinct to touch the dislocated joint. It would be quite the thing to heal, but it put him out of the fight, and that's all Devon cared about.
The second had stepped in to attempt a take down, and wound up with Devon's knee crushing his nose, only to stagger back and be put down with an elbow strike that landed him unconscious on his back,, his nose crushed into an awkward position.
And the third got a more common injury, although it would hurt no less then the others. His shoulder was dislocated when Devon threw to the ground, stomped on his shoulder, twisted, and pulled. A dislocated shoulder later and he was clutching his oddly positioned arm near the joint, groaning as he tried to resist the pain long enough to shove his shoulder back into it's place.
Devon sighed and glanced up the hall, wondering if the lunchroom would already be full, and the food gone. Without moving he patted his pockets, searching for his wallet, immune to any guilt that would normally come from the knowledge of causing such pain.
"Where did I put it?" He muttered to himself as he stepped over a small, but growing, flow of blood, heading calmly to the cafeteria.

Nestled "safety" within the confines of the cafeteria Uriel found his own place to sit. Sitting was just about all he did in the cafeteria, he didn't have the stomach for this kind of commoner food, he'd wait until he got home to eat otherwise he played the watching game. What did that entail precisely? Well it was all about picking out the weak links of groups and infiltrating their minds then watch to see how long it took till their groups fell apart and either a fight broke out or the once great friends were now arch enemies.
His pale blue hues searched the room over with a bored expression searching searching as though there was a certain spectacle he was out for.
*bang*
A jostle on his table and a tall jock hovered over him wearing the dark crimson letterman jacket. His shoulders heaving as though it took some effort out of him trying to startle the unwavering Uriel.
"What the hell are you doing looking at my girl Freak?!"
Uriel shifted his gaze curiously up towards the jock and then over to where he'd been drifting off. She was pretty but by the length of her skirt he could tell the girl was practically a slut. The ones that couldn't speak if "like"was removed from the dictionary. His gaze returned this time however with a bit of a golden spark to them.
"I was just admiring that stain on her skirt...."
He said with a bit of a chuckle to his voice implying another thing on a much more carnal nature as the jock quickly returned to his table slapping his girlfriend across the face accusing her of cheating on him. And suddenly the table had drawn sides.
"FUCKING WHORE!" A plate was thrown just past her head sailing towards the entrance.

Many would think that the next few events would occur; Devon would leave the scene unharmed and without remorse and enter the cafeteria. The plate that was thrown then towards that direction would hit, or at least almost hit, Devon. Frustrations would grow, words would be thrown, fingers will start pointing, and another brawl would occur. However, this was not to be the repeat of another PHS-cliche moment, as another person came to the scene. The School Captain of #774 himself, Cain Aurelius. The man would make himself seen from another hallway that led towards the entrance of the cafeteria, his emerald eyes looking towards Devon curiously, before noticing the three bodies in blood behind him.
Of course, the Junior would quickly put two and two together, his eyes focusing on Devon's figure as he quickened his pace, before stopping in his tracks right in front of the entrance of the cafeteria, his eyes locking onto Devon's with intent. He was clad in a white fitting shirt under a black rough leather jacket, the kind that doesn't seem so shiny under bright light. He was wearing a pair of black denim jeans, his attire completed by a pair of low-cut sneakers from Adidas. And on the right collar of his jacket was the School Captain badge, a small trinket of great significance.
"I'm sorry, but unless you can explain the scene behind you, I can't let you thr-"
There was a sharp pain on Cain's lower back suddenly, one that silenced him as he heard the splats of some gooey substances on his back then. Cain would take a step forward, his right hand shooting to his back, the edge of the plate having found the area just beside his spine. It was not the pain that had silenced him now. It was the shock. What the hell was that? He heard the object clatter to the ground, deducing then that it was a plate. A plate... From the cafeteria...
Cain's hand reached further in and he soon felt a mushy substance on the back of his jacket. Taking a bit of it, he placed his hand in front to analyse it. Was that... Mashed potatoes?
"... What... The fuck?"

Devon hadn't exactly been fleeing the scene, he was strolling casually, which lent itself well to people reading into the situation the worst possible assumption. If it was right or not no one would really know, no one had been paying attention, and everyone involved would likely lie. So as a student stepped in front of him, looking pointedly at him, he simply stopped in place and cocked his head to the side.
His eyes tracked down to the most apparent item on the students person, a a badge that had some kind of meaning he assumed. The corner of Devon's lips twitched into a muted smile for the briefest moment. Devon imagined a cheer leader scolding him about having poor school spirit while the students groaned and bled behind him.
The fact that the first words out of his mouth were 'I'm Sorry,' didn't really help to dissolve the image. But before he could philosophize the question to the point of driving the man-cheer-leader insane something smacked into him and made a healthy clattering upon hitting the ground.
"Oh my, what a conundrum."

Hmmm quite the silly bunch of events thusly unfolding before them now as the quite noticeable school captain made his entrance just behind another noted figure. These eyes didn't fail him for Uriel always had something of a nose for trouble. Batting the lids he had in a short motion perhaps symbolizing a frame of innocence perhaps the only one in the room uninstructed by the encroaching danger subtly on edge to break out. A short yawn and the motion of his hand to obstruct his mouth from the escaping air still watching the couple as their fight turned into something of a married couple's. The male struggling to push all blame onto the cheerleader who was completely taken aback, yet due to her bitchy nature she couldn't cover up all the secrets of the world.
"Well I'm not taking Steroids to get by as this school's Captain of the Football team"
An audible roar of nearby "ohhs" and "ahhs" only to be combated by the dull silence and strung open mouths of those setting themselves in place to watch the School Captain establish his own brand of justice.
Thats perhaps what drew the attention of Uriel for in fact he moved himself as well. His corner spot had no one there occupying it besides him instantly making himself target to weary eyes, might as well, "blend in." Motioning to a closer spot but a few rows away from the action he leaned forward extending a palm and watched with mock curiosity before a lanky boy probably a freshman sat down beside him with a pie.
=D?!
"Hey there..."
"Hi?"
"You know theres a bug in your pie...." The effects of Ra emitting from his eye as the boy flailed spontaneously throwing the pie into Cain's face.

Cain turned back towards the cafeteria, his eyes allowing himself to gaze upon a couple that was yelling it out in the center, presuming that it was where the plate had come from. Well, considering their position, they seemed to be the only possible culprits of the thrown plate of mashed potatos and other stuff Cain would rather not know about yet. Cain recognised the male. He was the captain of the school's football team. He furrowed his eyebrows. Cain had fought the man before, when he was trying to hit on another girl in a forceful, only to be stopped by Cain. Genesia had been that girl.
Cain took a few steps forward, allowing his gaze to move back for a moment as he looked at Devon, as if telling him that Cain was not done with him yet. He could run now if he wanted to, but Cain pretty much had his appearance etched into his face. He was not going to get away with what he had done. But first...
"HEY!? What the hell is going on here?!"
And just as he said that, a freshman suddenly moved towards him, a pie in hand, causing the School Captain to take a step back in surprise. What was the boy going to do? Was he going to do what Cain thought he was going to? And then, it came, the pie being thrown towards his face. Cain ducked out of instinct, letting the pie fly over him. And from his lowered state, the School Captain would drive forward, his great speed once more being displayed as he reached the freshman in a mere second, his shoulder driving into the boy's chest as he soared backwards, into a crowd of students. Then, he straightened himself.
"I ask again, what the hell is going on here?!"
Now, here's something that one might have noticed earlier. That pie. Devon was behind Cain. Now, if Cain had dodged that pie, it doesn't take a genius to know where that pie was going to head to next. Of course, there was gravity, so instead of the face, the pie would then be soaring over towards Devon's chest.

Devon was quite sure he had no idea what was happening, but he did know for sure that he could just lazily wander off like nothing happened thanks to Mr. School Spirit being more interested in preventing food fight related trouble rather then someone who did serious bodily harm to several other students.
So after a particularly humors look, which he assumed was meant to intimidate him rather then anger him moderately, he shrugged and stepped to the side and into the cafeteria. He went straight to the lunch line.
Whatever else could happen around him didn't really have anything to do with him, and all he was interested in was to go and get himself some food. Lunch was something he needed, watching food products that he could be quite contentedly eating was being hurled at people with vaguely official positions of authority.

An all to smart grin on his face, this had to be the third time he'd run into the Captain let alone indirectly interacted with such a fellow, perhaps it was deemed time to actually better understand him other than something of a rage-a-holic bent on encouraging a safe school environment. Of course everyone had ulterior motives or so was the assumption based on a paranoid sense of things. Though Uri was still a bit "shy" he didn't want the lime light just yet maybe stay behind the scenes and play a very partial game of his own.
"You there.... little girl." He'd nod to an enamored freshman looking to be fresh from the middle school playground.
"...?"
"I think you should have a word with the captain....perhaps relieve your self of your guilty ways...."
The golden burst illuminated unconsciously as the muddled expression of confusion turned obedient and crossed the threshold of the cafeteria. Her innocent expression most evidently defined by a childlike angelic figure. Her wafted blonde curls bouncing with each step and the smile appearing all too fluidly.
"Mr. Captain...?" The adorable voice came out, "Why are you so angry?"

Well, at least Cain had prevented a food fight from occurring, as everyone's attention turned towards the football team captain and his cheerleader girlfriend, and of course, the School Captain himself. After all, only one plate had been thrown, and it had hit Cain, who had nothing to throw back, really. Cain let out a soft growl as no answer came to him and to make matters even more frustrating, the man from earlier, the one who had brought down the three Seniors, simply passed by Cain as if he was not even there. Gah. As long as Cain could see him, he'd handle him afterwards. For now, the football team captain.
He made his way towards the larger man as he pulled him away from his cheerleader 'girlfriend', Cain doubting that their relationship would continue on after this little incident. And of course, following that pull would be a shove away, as Cain proceeded to place himself in between the couple. Usually, he cared not about such personal issues of his schoolmates, but this was something that could probably get out of hand and cause major trouble in the cafeteria, considering how the larger man had actually retaliated by throwing a plate of food. And that pie from earlier too. Where the hell did that come from?
"Hey, calm the fuck down already!"
And to emphasise on his message, Cain would throw a hard right hook, finding the football captain's solar plexus. Whether or not he was stronger than Cain, a strike to the solar plexus, and with studded gloves too, would always do a damage. Hopefully that was enough to calm the larger male down. However, before he could repeat his question from earlier, a female from nowhere approached Cain, a young girl. A freshie.
"Mr. Captain...? Why are you so angry?"
Cain looked at her for a moment, raising an eyebrow. As adorable as she was, her calmness in such a tense situation was unnerving. Though, Cain found no trouble with her, so he simply gave her an awkward expression of reassurance.
"... It's nothing. Please move back. There's no need for you to get involved in this."
Gah, what was with the people in the cafeteria today? They all seemed to be... Way off.
