Everyone has an off day, one where they wake up, yet want to go back to bed. Where they struggle to get to school, staying awake becomes a chore. With every passing class, it becomes more of a battle to fight against the dreaded tired. Missing all the important things throughout the days, half writing notes until falling asleep. The only things that wake you are the sharp poking from the person behind you, the bell, and of course the teacher's voice when they yell at you.
"Hildegard! WAKE UP!" The annoying whiny voice of her teacher shouted, followed by the whispers and laughter of all the students in class. Their eyes focused upon the sleeping girl, whilst the girl behind Hilde poked in her the back with the back of her pen. All of which were followed by the lunch bell, which was the finisher. It woke her up, but for how long? Sitting up straight for a moment, the girl would look around slowly, noticing people looking at her. It took only a few moments to sink in. "I AM SO SORRY!"
"You are very lucky I have a meeting. I'll talk to you tomorrow..." The woman snapped angrily before she dismissed the class.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF--- Why am I so tireddd!?
While gathering up her things, the whispers and comments as her classmates passed, were both hilarious, embarrassing, and encouraging. Some scolded her, whilst the slackers nodded and smile:'good work, I couldn't have napped better myself.'. It was weird very weird. Not able to explain it. Hilde was just so tired, it had been that way for about a week. Always tired, sore, and unable to recall why? After all, she did sleep all night. Yawning, the red haired girl would walk out of her class and find the flow of the massed. Moving with them as they drifted down the halls. To the lockers, to the doors, to the cafeteria.
LUNCH TIME.
Upon finding an empty table, she'd set her bag down, sit down and search for her bagged lunch. Oh yes, so awesome. Lunch from the classic paper bag, it was alllllrriigghhhtt. It wasn't long before her lunch was neatly set out before her, the sandwich unwrapped and sitting nicely on its wax paper wrapping. Juice box had been strawed, her books to the left of her lunch, and pencil case to the right. Lunch and studying.. TIME TO CATCH UP! Working on all she had missed during her various naps throughout the day.
Chatter of the students, the warm cafeteria, the smells of good food and the bad; all enough to make anyone want to sleep. Fighting to stay awake, the young woman tried to do battle with the forces of sleep. Of course, she wasn't going to win; she never won. So met her face to the sandwich. The last empty table had a sleeping girl at it. Of course seeing this, lead people to do stupid things. Post-it notes, tape, one even drew on her arm.
High school, full of the immature.

Justin couldn't help but smile a bit when he saw the girl doze off in their class, he had been here for some time now and had seen her more than once. Of course, he didn't know her personally but what can he say? Time is of the essence? Justin really couldn't be bothered with life outside of the books and combat but after stubborn determination from his brother's side and preaches from his mom he decided to make the best out of it and try to get into more contact with the class. The one to make an instant impression on on the young Dutchman of course was Hildegard.
After the bell went he planned to go outside and eat his lunch in the cool air, when Hildegrad passed him by in direction of the Cafeteria however, he decided against it and went to the warm lunch hall instead. With every step, he felt more like turning back towards the exit - this wasn't like him, he snickered at himself and almost turned around for the second time when he saw people passing by the table.
What were they doing? He curiously raised an eyebrow and approached, gently pushing some of them away. Of course, they didn't like being pushed away but with Justin's reputation and the successes he's brought to the school as a boxer they decided to leave it alone. And that left an awkward moment for him, as he looked at Hildegrad sleep on her sandwich. He almost tapped her on her shoulder and then pulled back, only to reluctantly tap her awake anyway.
"I don't think.. you're supposed to, sleep on those."
He pointed towards the sandwiches on her bag, and then looked at her cheek. Justin felt extremely awkward right now, not knowing whether to make notice of the little pieces of food on her cheek or to leave it. He wanted to leave already.. why did he even do this? Damn you Adam, just wait till I get home.

Of course she had been fast sleep, so the scratching of the pens and markers on her arm didn't wake her, nor did the snickering and attaching of post it notes to her head. It wasn't until someone tapped her on the shoulder and spoke directly to her, that she woke up. Sitting up straight, the girl looked to the left and then to the right. Confused and a little daze. "What? Huh?" Bringing up her hands she'd rub her eyes, although one hand managed to find the crumbs stuck to her cheek." How silly of me to forget such a thing. ha ha."
How embarrassing.
Grabbing a napkin from under her apple, wiping them off her cheek, the red haired girl would focus her attention on the table for a moment. She was awake, there was no question about it. Red blue eyes looking at the doodles and things written on her arm, silly high school children. "Thanks for waking me up. ha ha ha." Her face was red, just not quite as red as her hair. Who wouldn't be embarrassed to wake up in such a state.
Looking up at the young man, she couldn't help but recognize him. Where, oh where did she know him from? Sight and never interaction, but..CLASS. "I didn't miss much in class did I?" The German girl questioned sheepishly as she motioned at one on of the seats at the table. Setting the napkin down on next to her paper bag, the girl looked up at her classmate for a minute before turning to her sandwich, inspecting it for hairs.
...
.. ... .... .....
Just the thought hair near her sandwich made the idea of eating it, repulsive. Pushing it off to the side, near the bag. The girl hoped to ignore it, wishing it would go away. There was no idea she'd eat it.. "My name is Hildegard, we were just in the same class. It's nice to meet you" Humiliation was slowly leaving, her cheerful and friendliness seemed to become dominate once more in the way she spoke. Smiling away as she pushed out away from the table and began to pull post it's from her hair. NO HAIR ON THE TABLE... ew ew ew ew. As impolite as it was to fix one's hair at a table where you eat, Hilde couldn't let the post it's linger anymore.

He tried smiling whenever she did, to comfort both his unease and her apparent shame of falling asleep on her sandwich. Justin never really talked a lot to people, never found a reason to and that made it so much harder for him to actively participate in a conversation - it didn't help that it was a girl either. It was just this uncomfortable feeling he had whenever he got stuck in situations like this that made Justin avoid them if he could. This time it was different however, he brought this upon himself and would see it through for the better or worse. What did he have to lose really? So he sat down on the other side of the table, accepting her non-verbal offer to do so. Justin never really spend a lot of time talking to his fellow 774'ers as much as bashing their skull or breaking their faces, it was just the way it had been for years now. He was a known fighter in the school and enjoyed it to the point few actually wanted to talk to him. Of course there were challenges, and of course he lost some, but it wasn't that which gave Justin his reputation it was the way he balanced both lives.
This was the first time he broke the routine and actually interacted with somebody - Hildegrad in this case. Might as well make the best of it, no?
"I'm Justin, likewise," He said with a nod and a slightly forced smile. "So.. do you sleep on your sandwiches often?" He said pointing towards her sandwich. Why is it so haaaaaard.

[that's what she said]
He sat down with her, which made her a little happy. After all, in such a place one can not expect much from people.. Especially in the friendly department. it was refreshing to see that not everyone wanted to fight, or at least that was what she gathered; it could have been wrong. Smiling at the young man, she'd reach for her juice box and take a sip. The taste of the wonderful, boxed OJ. it was always bitter,Orange juice always tasted better cold.Sadly, it didn't work out that way. Of course.
The question and the motioning towards her sandwich. It was all so embarrassing, of course.but what had happened, happened.. There was no getting around it.She had fallen asleep on her sandwich."No, not often. ha ha ha ha. I guess I was really tired today."orr...at least all week...Laughter and smiles, trying to convert awkward into something more friendly and normal. Perhaps a little more difficult than it had seemed."But I heard somewhere that if you sleep with your head on a sandwich, it is supposed to have healing properties. It'll make you feel better upon waking up."
As silly as it sounded, it was her way of making a joke. Hilde couldn't help but laugh at herself again, who wouldn't?Especially after trying to justify such a thing with a horribly lame story. Merely smiling, the girl picked up a carrot stick and took a bit.It was lunch, people eat."You don't usually eat in the cafeteria,do you?" Generally curious, especially since she didn't recall seeing him in the lunch area, ever.

Justin wanted to slam his head against the wall, this was a challenge unlike any others he had faced before. Social Conversation sure beat the hell out of boxing and math. His eyes wandered restlessly over the girl in front of him until he finally settled on her eyes. It's just another person Justin, basic etiquette - don't stare, stay calm, keep the conversation going. Eventually he had calmed himself and had gone from almost wanting to leave to wanting to sit it out. To him it was a challenge, and it wasn't just the fact that he was interacting with a stranger without a clear reason, it must've also been the fact that she was a girl. Cooties? No not that, why do I feel this way then? I mean, it's not like she bites or anything.. right? Self conversation was only intresting for so long, so he did what anybody would've done - REACT.
"Haha.. healing, yeah.." Awkward as hell. Justin almost never ate in the cafeteria, like once in several months at most, he didn't like the crowded place that much. He favored solitude.
"No, I don't, well not that often at least." Don't give up, never.
"Anyway, I need to be going now.." He tried right? That's what mattered. This was conflicting to say the least, he wanted to see it through to the end but at the same time this whole interaction was far out of his nature. "Do you have Art Class too now?" Maybe it'd work out better in a working environment. BOOBS.

She had made an ass of herself, there was no doubting that. Of course she just had to try to be funny, it never worked. No one really had the power to be funny, when they tried... too hard. It was such a shame. The poor young man was probably feeling really awkward... and she was sad about her sandwich. ALAS, THE POOR SANDWICH did not have to suffer the paid of being eaten. Although it would be forced to rot away and mold, which probably would be a whole lot worse, than the previous fate. OH HORRIBLE DAYS, the poor sandwich, doomed to face the last of its days in a bag, until said bag is torn open by raccoons and.. it it stolen away into the night. Only to be eaten, just by sharper uncivilized teeth. Oh woe~ oh woe, the poor sammich and it's horrible day. Yet, there was Hilde. She who had not finished her lunch. Not given enough time to do such a thing, all because sleep had forced itself upon her.Leaving the red haired girl to question: WHY THE HECK WAS SHE SO TIRED!? She slept, or at least she had remembered going to be at a reasonable time, where was the rest? The relaxation? The feeling of freshness and well restedness? Each morning was horrible, struggling to get out of her bed, questioning why she hurt, why it felt as if she had run a marathon. What was going on? All the time to question never seemed to bring her closer to the answer. Although, she'd probably never know how close the answer was. When one is not aware of another personality within them, they are often left feeling drained. Or maybe that was just her. Yes, it was all Saphir's fault for Hilde's bouts of tired, the soreness and everything. Running rampant at night, doing whatever it was she did. Saphir kept the body up all night...NEVER A GOOD THING...Not at all. "Sorry. ha ha ha." She added nervously, looking over at the young man. Both the red eye and blue focused on him, afraid he'd get mad or think of her as some strange person. Fabricating stories for the sake of having something to say, that wasn't her...Just a nervous reaction. When at a loss, be creative. A lot of good that did her. He didn't each in the cafeteria, which was something she already knew. After all, Hilde was always one to keep an eye on things, watching if they change or remain the same. For the most part, the days repeated themselves, leaving a bad taste in her mouth. The girl only wished for things to be interesting, for more opportunities to make friends. FRRIIIEEENNNDSSSSSSS...-grabby hands- "I don't blame you, it's really warm here and the food doesn't always smell good. ha ha ha. Not to mention it's always so loud." Spoke in a friendly tone, always. Hilde was happy, she was kind, and always ever so cheerful. it wouldn't change just because she was tired, she'd probably just be a little less perky. A smile straightened into a frown, with the declaration of having to go. What a shame, they had only just met. Boooooooooooo~~~ Art class... Art class...? Art class...!!!! Yess!! That was awesome, more chances to talk to her new acquaintance. Nodding, the girl would look up and smile once more. Apparently she was too quick to jump to a conclusion. Perhaps it was just the disappointment of not making a friend, something that had been her goal for a while. After all, she had only managed to make one in her time at Public High School 774. "I do! So, we have another class together?"Hilde questioned, a very bright smile on her face as she looked to Justin. So many questions! Could they sit together, perhaps they could be partners. Yes, she was jumping fast, but... It could be a way of getting past the awkwardness of the sandwich. Yes, she wanted to make a friend...MAKE HIM FORGET ABOUT THE HEALING OF THE SANDWICH! Seem like a somewhat normal, but not completely normal[since it wasn't really her thing to be a functioning member of the masses... being herself was just fine and dandy.]member of the class.. There was one thing to be certain...NO MORE STORIES. "Want to head to class?"smile. smile.[/ul] [[OOC: sorry for the fail... It's cold XD and I'm sleepy]]

Justin laughed with the type of laugh that made you doubt whether the person felt at ease or not. "Hehehe." He close his eyes and scratched the back of his head, showing a smile which was perfected by years of braces. His icy blue eyes were opened afterwards. Hilde and Justin were off to Art Class now,
"Yeah, why not;" He stood up, standing his full 5'11 and slung the messenger bag to his right side putting his gloved hands in his pockets. And started walking, sure to find his next companion by his side in a matter of seconds. His eyes locked with hers for a moment, and something tingled inside his chest for a brief moment - he felt uneasy again. This was something new to him, unfamiliar and for the moment best left alone so he did what he always did with stuff like this. Put it in a box and keep it locked for the moment. Liefde (Dutch, find out it's meaning. :3), he knew Eric would poke fun of him if he explained how he felt.
As they walked towards Class, Justin spoke again now more confident - they were going to need to walk for some time, this school was HUGE, but that's what you get when you fuse all schools into one big institution of educatiooooon.
"So.. do you have like, uhm.. hoe zeg je dit.. [Dutch: how are you supposed to say this...] nevermind." Justin decided not to ask, he just met her, Jesus what was wrong with him?! "What school did you come from? You must've had your freshman and sophomore years at another school right?"

The red haired girl continued to smile, chuckling at it. Listening as he managed to ask the new question. About school. Was she to tell him that she had gone to at least four schools since grade nine? They'd make it to the art room, the teacher wasn't in just yet, which meant they'd have to stop and wait outside. Walking to a space free of others, she'd lean up against the locker and smile. Trying to find a good answer, one that made her seem less and less like a freak. Who was transfered without knowing exactly what they did wrong? She couldn't remember what she had done. "I was home schooled, we moved around a lot." She'd pause, still smiling away. Acting like she had all day, no sign on worry on her face. Hilde was good at covering over her worry with a smile, it would always be something happy. "What about you?" That's right lie. You know very well,it's best to lie.It pained Hilde very much to lie, especially since it took her no time flat to decided to fib. What a wonderful way to start a friendship, if she could call it such a thing. Regardless, it was never good to start without out on a lie. Bad foundation leads to collapse later. But the question remained, was it really that bad of a lie? Lord knows she couldn't remember the school names, so she spent most of her time at home doing school work. Same deal, right? It didn't matter, right? The teacher appeared and opened the doors, revealing a path.. and desks. Being the first people at the door, it gave them first dibs on desks.. BACK CORNER<3 So long had she wished to have the seat, to sit back, draw and take notes in her own way. Yes, with no fear of getting in trouble. TODAY WAS HER DAY.. No matter how horrible she felt. Heading into the classroom, Hilde quickly snagged the corner desk, a grin on her face as she soaked in her victory. The spoils of victory very short lived. She'd watch Justin, wondering if he'd sit with her or near her. There was a bit of hope he would and a heavy feeling of dread and guilt was seemed to swamp the girl. No matter how happy she looked, Hilde felt really bad for having to lie. Something so small was bothering her so much. Note to self.... avoid this question... or you know, just say: OH I MOVED AROUND A LOT.Save yourself from this next time...Nonsense, you did the right thing, and you know it. Silly girl...[/ul] [[[CCOLLLLDDDDD HANNNDSS and typing failllllllssss]]]

He followed the girl, removing all doubt that he wouldn't choose to sit next to her. Why should he? He had known this the moment he mentioned, Art Class. Of course he felt the same way Hilde did at first, doubting whether she would sit along side the blue eyed boxer. His eyes moved over the empty tables and he decided upon the table in far right, middle. So they both had the privacy to talk and the closeness to the front to pay sufficient attention. Listening to her talk about home schooling brought back not so fond memories of challenging math assignments and forsaking sleep for the sake of advancement. The teachers had always been rough on him but it had done him good, of course now it didn't matter to him anymore - live life now, think later, no?
"I used to be home schooled for some time, I eventually came to a public high school to mingle with the rest of the world. Haha." Justin said jokingly, he was serious though, he was locked in his home for quite some time.. ah, well. That's for another time, no need to reminisce.
"One time, I came in this class, fully nude. I kid you not." Justin looked insanely serious only to crack up after her initial reaction. "Haha, I'm just kidding, have you ever posed for a class though? Not nude necessarily? I'm curious, I can't imagine holding one position for so long without feeling a itch just to annoy you, struggling with keeping yourself stuck in a single position.. " The boy caught of his stream of speech to look at the face of the girl next to him, resting against the back of his seat now. "Then again.. that's just me, what do you think?"

So, not only did he go along with her to class, but he actually sat with her..again. Although, it was far different from when he joined her for lunch. Hilde smiled at the blue eyed young man, she was still very happy that he joined her. Why? ONE! A new friend...and Two... which probably holds the same rank as one, but in no way is a way of using the stranger... >__> Only because she was enjoying his company. Friendship...and staying awake in class, she couldn't afford to miss out on another class, it just wouldn't look good for her. Sleeping through another class just wasn't going to fly... IT WAS TIME TO DEFEAT SLEEP, with good only S.F.B.T.
Looking over at him, the girl picked up her juice box and took another sip, stashing the bag of baby carrots under a pile of stuff on the table. SHE WAS HUNGRY having slept through lunch and breakfast, who wouldn't be hungry? Grabbing a carrot, she'd turn and look at Justin again. Listening to his explanation, he too had been home schooled.
Common ground... if only it wasn't a lie, common enough to work.
He continued to talk, saying strange things, it seemed a little different from who he had been when they met during lunch. Perhaps he was warming up to her, it takes people a while to get used to a person, right? Perhaps Justin was comfortable with her.
So strange, Hilde couldn't help but laugh, smiling as she looked over at him again. Nude to school, such a peculiar thing to joke about. Amusing none less. Listening and nodding, he was so right, sitting in one place is such a difficult task. Smiling once more, her white teeth were shown for a moment before she looked forward. If only to think about it for a moment.
"It's really difficult! I fell asleep in class once, way back, so I had to sit still for the class to draw. Sad to say, I wasn't able to do so. Sitting still is so difficult." Pausing, the red haired girl would laugh once more."The second they had me sit down.. Well, into the drawing process, my nose started to itch. ha ha ha. Always at the most inconvenient times, right?"
Taking a bite of the baby carrot, the girl would turn her attention to the front, she hated looking at a person and chewing.. It was weird. With a gulp and a visit to the juice box, she was looking at Justin once more."Are you in this class by choice or force?ha ha ha ha"

"Forced." Justin paused for a second to contemplate what was it that forced him? The school? It was obligatory to follow a creative class? Did he get that right? Either way he was stuck in this class till high school was over. "It's not like I have much of a choice, I guess, why did you take art class? " Sure Justin was creative when it came to stuff but he wasn't creative when it came to expressing himself, he'd never really found the fine arts to be a way to show the world how he felt about something - his actions spoke more than a few hastily made paintings could ever do.. then again he didn't really have a message, now did he? Just being him was enough for the adolescent male for now.
"I don't really mind though, haha, life's too short to complain about everything, hmm? Plus, I get to meet interesting people like you when I attend my classes." Justin said with a kind smile, he liked Hilde she had something about her which make him open up quicker than he had intended to initially. He awaited the teacher's assignment and listened carefully when she spoke of a collaborative artwork - 2 colours, 2 people, 1 paper. He stood up, winked at Hilde and motioned her to follow him to the nearest cabinet with paint canisters.
"Haha, I'll take this blue here, it matches my eyes~" Justin said jokingly and took it from the cabinet. "What will you take?" After Hilde made her move they would return to their table with a brush and a can of paint in each of their hands - a clean sheet paper was already waiting for them.
"Ready? Free-Form Painting, gotta love it!"

Forced... That was never fun. Art was something she was passionate about, although not everyone felt the same way. Regardless, she wasn't going to take it to heart or judge him because of it... When did she ever actually judge a person? Hilde would smile at the young man,"I actually love art, it's really a good way to express one's self." She'd laugh as the loud ringing from the school bell cut her off. Which would lead to some silence, only as the teacher explained the pair work.
Working in small groups of two with two colours, always fun. A good way to connect with the young man whom she had just met, very good. A friend she would make, at some point. a friend a friend... a friend.
"A very good choice Justin." Hilde looked over at him with a smile once more, before focusing her red blue eyes upon the paint selection.
Pushing her glasses up, the girl would pick up a can of purple paint. "I'd go with red, buuutttt...Actually, I'll go with red. There's nothing wrong with it, right?" Hilde couldn't help but laugh at it as she headed back to the table. "Always fun, ha ha ha ha."
Paint, it wasn't exactly her favourite thing to work with, actually she detested it. It just wasn't her sup of tea, since it was something not easily undone. Fixing mistakes was difficult and sometimes impossible, the brushes varied in size and she didn't find very much control. Perhaps it was just because Hilde wasn't good at painting, but she hated it...a lot.
"How to start this...hmmm..."
