Updates to Experience Gain

For this assume that mental stats are as follows:

Intelligence
Wisdom
Charisma

For posting in a thread with 2 people:

For posting until you've reached a third page (completed two pages -- 28 posts ) + 1 mental stat
For posting a thread with > 4000 words total + 1 mental stat
For Fighting in a thread with a physical fight + 1 any stat

For posting in a thread with more than 2 people:

for posting a full page for each person in the thread (3 pages for 3 people, 4 for 4 etc --FULL PAGES ) +1 exp to a mental stat
For posting in excess of 4000 (+ 1000 words for each member after 2) words +1 exp to a mental stat
For Fighting in a thread + 1 exp to any stat for every person you where fighting.

(Note to fight threads, if you do not fight you may not post +1 exp to any stat, however if it meets the other requirements you may have the +1 to a mental stat)

these rules are not in effect for the following (followed by their reasons in quotations)

Monthly events (has its own prizes upon completion)
Quests (has its own prizes upon completion)
Job threads (has its own prizes upon completion)
Threads with only one character (yourself) (should be used only for intense roleplaying purpose and to avoid the system being taken advantage of)

EXCEPTIONS:
If a member of a thread drops out of the thread or does not participate in the thread for a period of 10 days before it is finished it may be brought before a moderator to determine if it is rewardable

If a thread is especially:
A. Funny
B. Thought provoking
C. Chilling and grippingly powerful to your characters storyline
D. All of the above
it may be brought before a moderator to decide if it is rewardable

Thread must be COMPLETED and shown to a "exp mod" to gain any stat bonuses

Collecting Exp Due to Inactivity

If you cannot complete a fight thread due to the inactivity of another member, you will not be gaining exp for said fight thread. the exception to this is that if you can talk to the other member (the inactive party) and ask them permission to end the thread uncompleted, and then provide proof of this asking then you may gain EXP for the fight thread even though it is not completed. you will be asked to modify your last post so that the thread MAKES SENSE to end where it does (once again you can work out an OOC ending with the other party).

this option is only available after a full 14 days (two weeks) of the other players inactivity, and ONLY if the player asking for the thread to be closed is clearly active in all of their other threads (otherwise both players are rather inactive, it is both their faults for the thread not being finished, and they should not recieve reward for such things)

Rules on Experience Gain:
Rules toward Experience Gain can be split into three separate Categories. Physical Gain, Mental Gain, and A hybrid Gain which would be from each of the prior categories.
Physical Stat Gain: Str, Dex, Con

Mental Stat Gain: Int, Wis, Cha

  Hybrid Stat Gain: This refers to the gain of both a mental and a physical stat gain in a single thread.

  *= Refer through a moderator. If you personally are aiming for a character bent on specifically mental or physical prowess and show this in the thread go about telling a moderator and they are given final say on redistributing the desired stat you’d want.
  **= Refer through a Moderator. In the thread show that you displayed that sense of growth (ie: Working out in a social thread would constitute a trade of mental exp for physical)
  ***= Attaining a Hybrid Exp gain would signify that you followed a long list of category fulfillments and thus earned a higher reward. A) To fulfill a physical need you fought (or constituted a transfer of exp), B) you had a social background filling the basic requirements (or more), C) You went beyond the limited requirements and showed the Moderator checking you that you surpassed the norm, built upon your character growth, etc.

  *This is determined by Moderators so if you drop a PM explaining why it is crucial to your character’s growth and/or Storyline we may be more lenient.
