New People...New Faces (Hilde/Open)

[Zen]

It was mid afternoon, the sun shining brightly down upon the area though there was still a light chill in the air...All combining to make for a perfect day. Dressed in a pair of shorts and a tank top, Zen was actually doing something she had not gotten to do in some time. Running.....it felt nice to have her hair tied back, and to be running freely through the park without any worries....Well okay so she had plenty to worry about in the back of her mind. But as she made her final lap around the park she let the brisk feel of the cool air in her lungs take her mind off of her problems.

No, she was at peace, inside, for now....Coming to a stop near one of the public water fountains, she doubled over slightly to place her hands on her knees...Breathing heavy as a light film of sweat plastered her trim figure....

Finally, once she had caught her breath enough that it would not kill her to take a drink, she moved over and pushed the button on the fountain, letting her lips touch the arch of water and drinking it down slowly so as not to give herself a stomach ache....

Then, stepping back, she closed her eyes and let her head fall back slightly....eyes closing as she enjoyed the feel of the sun on her face...When you walked through life with such an emptiness inside you, it was always nice to feel anything you could......

Though was she empty still? Had Cain not filled that void in her that seemed to swallow her whole night after night?

Already her worries and questions were coming back.....Well it had been nice while it lasted.....

Shaking her head, she opened her eyes and turned to see a girl seated upon one of the stone benches of the park...she usually was not one to initiate conversation, but sitting there beat planting her ass on the ground......

"Excuse me. Do you mind if I sit here?"

She motioned toward the empty space beside the girl...Her almond eyes watching....Expecting some snippy come back or some bitchy attitude...to which she would return one of her own.....But then, that was just the way she saw things....people were usually bad...Just the way the world worked she supposed.

There was always a need to do something, to enjoy the day. After all, she wasn't the type to sit around inside and scratch her ass. There was always the need to do something, whether be walking about or something else. Which, walk was something she had planned to do that day. Wander to a park and enjoy the sunny day alone. Drawing away in the park, lunch under a tree. A day of solitude and one that was meant only for her. A lovely afternoon to do what she wanted. Smiling the girl grabbed her bag and looked back at the empty living room. There was a void where he father would have been. He was working. It was just her. To escape the void of nothingness, Hilde had planned the day.

What else would she have done?

Wandering down towards the elevator, the red haired girl waited for a moment before stepping in. Empty as usual. The people in the building all seemed to be afraid of each other. So it was rare to see anyone at all. It seemed as if they ran and hid every time someone else left. Something along those lines. What could have been done, really? Smiling she'd leave the building, waving at a frightened woman... Who took off right away. As to be expected. Not much could be done.

Staring off into space, a smile glued to her face, the girl continued forward. There was no care in the world that lingered, the only thing focused upon was the prospect of being able to draw. Spending time in the sunlight, seeing people and observing what they did. Hilde was very excited, not to mention her father had made something quite yummy the night before hand, there was good food to be nommed.

I can't believe you are wasting you time...

Regardless of what the darker voice had said, there was no way she'd stay inside. The park was alive, there was nature all around, not to mention people passing and lingering. What more could she want? It was time to draw scenes and scribble away. Drawing characters, fan art, and whatever nonsense that filled her mind. She'd find a bench in the park, which would make perfect camp. Sitting with a smile as she unpacked her things. Her messenger bag sat beside her, her sketch book and pencils were out and ready. Drawing time.

After some time, the girl thought it would be best to partake in the delicious food her father had made. Why not? No sense in letting it sit any longer. Pulling out the chicken wrap, the girl would rip open the top of the wax paper before taking a bite. Without any notice, a girl would walk up and request to sit with her. Hilde looked up in confusion. The wrap in her mouth, a hand holding the bottom. o___o;;; Embarrassed, caught stuffing food in her mouth.

"Sure, be my guest. My best ist your bench." Words spoken with a smile and good feelings... As usual.

Zen offered up a light smile in return and then took a seat, her hand coming up to wipe away some of the sweat that was collected on her brow. Finally she would turn those eyes toward the girl she had chosen to take a seat with that day and offered up her other, sweat free hand to shake....

"Hey. Names Zen. You are?"

Yeah she was not the most girly of girls and she tended to act a bit like a tomboy in most of her activities, including her interaction with other people. At least when she first started to talk to them...

Either way, if the girl took her hand she would shake and then draw it back, if she did not, then her hand would still return to its resting spot on the table. She really did not mind that the girl had been stuffing her face...it was not like it was a crime, and honestly Zen was getting hungry herself. Which was not surprising..she ate....A LOT and very often..

How the hell she stayed so skinny she would never know...Though the running might have something to do with that. None the less she shrugged and then drew in a deep and calming breath. Yeah she was tired and needed to rest before she hurried off to pig out....But gah that food looked so good!

Shaking her head she just smiled a bit and then waited for the other girl to reply. Figuring that she would or would not. If she didnt then Zen could drop the "I am so sweet" act.........
