It was getting worse, between the passion for violence and the pain in his skull that lurked behind the eye lids, he was in a seemingly sense of pain. The dark overcoat would've been enough of a giveaway to his presence seeing as how this was California most people were adorned in their warmest. Then again there were always those new age students who always dressed in black. For Uriel it simply gave him that satisfying air of omnipresence.
Lurking over the desk in the Library Uriel held a tight grasp over his left eye, his expression was one of utmost pain as he tried tearing and ripping at it. However he breathed in labored gasps until a couple passed his presence. Pausing with the best control he could manage Uriel squinted roughly looking as though he was holding back a terrifying screech.
"Why does this thing torment me so...." Uriel whispered in an inaudible voice grinding his teeth subtly.
Settling his hands down slowly to the table he focused intently on the pain sending it below and out of sight. Now he had to wait, there was that target he'd seen in class. Undoubtedly he'd cross Uriel's path at one point or another, or maybe another by chance. The objective was the first and only thing in his mind.

. It would not be the first time that this exotic beauty had laid her eyes upon this book. After all her martial arts mentor Fang had trained her often with the mentality of said book. Though she knew the book well, every now and again she picked it up as a reminder. Did she follow everything from it? Not at all, just a few points here and there. Her captivating blue-ish gray hues scanned the room as she walked, majority of tables too full for her taste but there was one where only a single male was sitting. Without a single word she strolled over from behind him, her hips naturally swaying with such elegance. Placing the helmet on the table, the jacket to rest over the chair and the messenger bag on the table as well, Elena only glanced at the male briefly before sitting across from him and opening the book glancing at the pages. ~Dare I even begin to ask what is wrong? Hmm, I rather not for if he even begins to snap at me it won't be pretty.~[/ul]

Of course in such a quiet dueling sneaking up on someone was hard to do and Uriel didn't turn because of that fact, if someone was going to hit him they'd make less noise. Clicking of high heeled boots, instantly put a picture in his head. Woman, based on the stride tall, still shorter than him but taller than an average female. A slight tilt to her body motion meaning she was either injured or favoring something to a a direction in her body. Weapon? No probably books or a briefcase something that'd draw no attention from those in the area.
He calmly took in a breath concealing the sharp pain in his skull. Wincing slightly before she took her seat setting aside the helmet and book. That was it. Art of War... Curious, setting aside the pained emotion and fixed his stare on her hues. Devastating stare it'd make sense why a woman would carry around such a book, clearly she was a dangerous knock-out. Calculating slowly the type of woman she was to interact he'd let the stare linger, perhaps to be interpreted perversely or curiously however she'd react would explain something to him. His Grey eyes lingered around her hand motion perhaps to determine her strengths, which page she lingered on, there was always something to learn. Of course he could always rely upon his eye. But that was too easy.
Hands still lingering precariously before him a bit of him felt awkward in such a stoic position and retracted to fold in his lap, crossing his legs gingerly to take the stance of an observant spectator. If she didn't react he'd speak out soon enough.
"Its curious is it not...?" He mused quietly hoping that'd make her say something akin to 'what?' or 'huh?' only to receive another ploy, "You prefer solidarity, the reason for you picking this spot aside from one with more people, one would perhaps peg you for that group so to speak..."
With an utterly confident move Uriel redirected his eyes pulling his own book out to read it intently.

--- Again she would glance from the pages and meet his stare then look back down once more. A soft subtle sigh would leave her full soft glossed lips, as she was no longer really reading the words more so just distracting her eyes for awhile. Did he intimidate her? Oh no not in the least. Elena wasn't one to be so easily intimidated by anyone. Though there was one and even in front of him she didn't show how intimidated by him that she was. That person was her father. The same that she wanted to bring down was the one man that sort of scared her a bit. But she was still determined to overcome that and him. She was a strong minded, strong will individual. --- Yet again she sighed still feeling his prying eyes, elegantly placing her hands in a folding position, clasping each other over her book. Her back resting properly against the chair, she raised her eyes; readying to open her mouth but he had beaten her to the punch. He's opening sentence was simply received by a slight perk of her right brow and a little head cocked to the left. The following caused the exotic beauty to smirk, chuckling under her breath, before allowing that silky smooth natural tone of her voice to be released. "Hmm, one may peg me for a lot of different things does not mean they would be right... What you see is not always what you get.. What one sees is trivial.. It is what one does not see that they should be concerned about or fearsome of..."[/ul]

Uriel had played this game before, yes quite often it was humanly logical to react as something else, there were reasonings behind that. Either a natural adversity towards people thusly being intimidated or the alternative of which being her capable defiance thusly would relate to her intelligence being of a high caliber however the book she was reading indeed gave that sort of mentality away and Uriel knew it quite well.
"All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him."
He chuckled quite whimsically. Of course this wasn't a wartime situation but then again one could make all things appear as though battle lines were drawn out. For all that either of them knew invisible lines of contemplated attacks could have been potentially drawn out with dramatic reproach.
"Am I not correct by saying so?" His way of speaking always with the utmost concern for the language.
Shrugging slightly in the seat Uriel leaned back keeping his hands placed in his lap for but a moment before altering them, bringing the clasped fingers to the table with an odd curvature to them one implying that he was contemplating reaching out verses rolling his fingers maliciously to inspire awe but neither remark within his mind won out.
"Then again I doubt you'll entirely give out, you just seem the type..."
