Combat
Years Practiced: Never
Description: This is a fighting style that can be "practiced" per say, but only by fighting. But as what makes this weak against actual fighting styles, Free Style tends to become personalized and therefore easier to observe patterns of the user for. In that light, the user can also change up the way they fight by making imitations (varying in degree of mastery) of other fighting styles and integrating it into his own.
The pattern of priority that Forn uses for himself goes from highest to lowest: Constitution, Intelligence, Charisma, Dexterity, Wisdom, Strength.
With Constitution taking the priority, Forn focuses on being able to take hits, being able to expend energy in experimentation and pull off more gutsy moves amongst other things.
Intelligence ranking second, by taking in and observing a hit, he can give himself a chance to think on countering it, internalizing it, and therein sealing any specialized moves used against him. After all, everything has a "rock, paper, scissor" play to it when it comes to fighting, fighting styles and techniques.
Third valued is Charisma which is almost as important as his own Constitution since he needs a strong spirit to do the things he needs to do.
Dexterity may be prioritized as fourth, but isn't to be denied since Forn's fighting style focuses on his ability to observe with his Constitution and Intelligence, making more efficient moves with his Dexterity so as to reduce wasteful energy movement.
Fifth is Wisdom, but is no less important then any other, low in rank of priority by a simple pragmatic view: If Forn cannot understand what he is fighting with his first few moves of opening, then he would just be expending energy uselessly in trying to anticipate an enemy's movements. While this gives his reaction time a slight deterioration, with time this trait of insight can easily become his greatest and most feared asset.
Strength is sixth, but not by choice, due to his natural physical build and development. Understanding that Technique comes first as well as common sense, it only makes sense that strength will follow, and can be applied effectively when everything comes down to level.

History
Education, however, branched with rapidity into a number of things for the boy.
On the knee of his mother, she would tell him stories of fantastical things, recite favored old children's poems that were banned by the Vatican to drive the boy's imagination, and hug the boy precariously close to herself as she did, like a loving mother would do. Very, very loving.
Very, very loving.
There was and is nothing outwardly that can be perceived from the child as he grew up of anything wrong. Rather, taking to his education with gusto, he loved reading and attempting to write, explored his interests into the arts, and was taught very early on from belligerent monks and imposing Italian boys when and how to defend himself. Roughhousing for him in those days were dismissed as rambunctiousness by the priests, thankfully, but there were many days in a row where he had essentially taken to the confessional like a second home.
Except, you don't expect to get raped in your home.
Eight years old, starting his acolyte training, studying the Bible daily, learning different languages, and finding in his Wood Workshop Class his love for construction. From his mother's encouragement, he found that he rather enjoyed quite a large variety of foods, a love for a wide variety of music (some of which earned him questioning looks), and an increasingly easy-going attitude. Blamed on the genetics of his father, his mother would be noted in these days to walk and talk to her son about various topics going on around the world while drinking coffee as a new favored pastime. Due to his mother's curious personality, Forn's easygoing personality was reinforced with a laid back outlook on life, the ability to bide, a strengthened technique to listen. In spite of past occurrences, these could be viewed as happy days.
Viewed. The reality tended to be much more different behind closed doors.
Growing up in this sort of environment, the boy was forcibly very aware of his naturally "sinful" nature, the condition of sinfulness that was upon his mother, the sinfulness of his vacant father, alongside sins of the world. Much meditation and discussion with the few people he could. But for his age, he was exposed to talk with the priests and his... very open-minded nun of a mother in regards to the workings of the world.
Needless to say, all of this forced development had several more results to the workings of the boy's mind. There were always choices to be made, choices to be had, and personal integrity to question.
This became all the more important as continous pressure on his mother, as a nun with a child nearing the age of twelve had various forces in her life that brought up one decisive choice: That the child should come to know his father.
The inconvenient fact that the boy's father was in fact in Southern California, in the infamous Public High School #259 was of no laughing matter, however. Wanting for her boy to integrate as best as he could into American society and away from the ever judging eyes of their environment, Vanessa initially enlisted him in a "foreign student exchange" program with constantly flowing contact between the two.
In part because this actually wasn't a real foreign student exchange program.
Calling in a favor from an old friend in the United States, she managed to dorm Forn in a room with a boy about his own age. The American Native's father, paying for his own son's apartment while forcing his child to get a job very early on, worked out a deal for the boy's education---One night alone with the Vanessa.
Forn never found out how or why he ended up initially living with "Trist" as he was called, nor how one year later how his mom somehow managed to get a green card to live in the United States so quickly.
The end of middle school brought excitement at the thought of transferring over to Public High School #259... when suddenly...

...With Public High School #259 unavailble, Forn moved out of the apartment and moved in with his mother in a closer-by apartment.
