Addie called as she looked over at her father. He was seated in the front, about to turn and wake Torrin, who had been out in the cabin for most of the drive. The old Asian man would smile and nod before taking the keys from the front and closing the door. "You really have changed Addie. It's lovely to see you so happy again." The old man would add as he headed towards the door at the back of the van. "Really? I'm sorry for worrying you Tou-san!" Her words were spoken in a far friendlier tone, then how they used to be. There was so much guilt that lingered in the mind of the girl. Remembering how horrible she used to be, how much stress she brought to Yuuto. He was a good man, always there and trying to help her. "I'm sorry for my behaviour since we moved to Japan." She was sincere and was really ashamed of her actions. After all, he did travel to America to help her move. "Addie, I'm just happy you found your happiness. Really, that's all a parent wants." he'd smile before opening the doors and bunging them to the bars along the back. The last thing they needed was for the doors to constantly shut. "I'm sorry I couldn't be with you all this time.""Nothing to worry about Tou-san! I mean, I was sent to America because of what I did. One can not be expected to follow such a bad egg around. Are Obaasan and Ojiisan okay with you being out here? I mean, aren't they stuck with your new wife and son?" There was laughter at the comment. She remembered they were quite the handful. They loved to argue and complain, very different from Eva and herself; but who was judging. Whatever made her father happy. Even if there were times where, she'd assume her father replaced her. Although, those days were all gone. She had accepted everything... Even the new family. "I'm sure they can manage. Ha ha ha ha ha ha." Yuuto was smiling as he grabbed an end of the couch, Addie already had her end. Although, deep down, he knew that she was still a little hurt from the remarriage. Especially since she didn't know what had happened to her mother. He had kept it from her for so many years; he couldn't tell her now. Especially since they finally started to get along. Lifting the couch up, the slowly carry it down the ramp and in through the doors. The brunette felt rather bad for getting her father to carry the couch, even though it wasn't heavy to her, it could very well be for him. Before they managed to get fully down the ramp she'd call to Torrin. "Wakey! Wakey! Eggs and Bacey!"With that they'd head to the elevator. UP TO THE TENTH FLOOR!!! Their new home.[/ul]

The two hour-ish trip had sent Torrin to dreamland seeing she had a bad habit of getting car sick when awake.
She was quite comfortable in her little section she fell asleep in. She was sitting, holding her teddy with her head against the window. It was comfortable to her, though she was a little odd to begin with.. especially eating Addie's bizarre concoctions.
The sun was starting to rise now. Addie had dragged the half asleep Torrin into the van where she hibernated in the back. Torrin remembered Addie bringing up the move.. but she happily went along with it. Not like Torrin made much an impact on that area anyways. It was only Addie she cared about, and if she wanted to move, and bring Torrin, then she'd happily tag along.
Torrin squirmed and squinted her eyes at the bright sun reflecting into her window. She wriggled to move for more sleep when she heard someone call 'Wakey! Wakey! Eggs and bacey!' which suddenly made Torrin feel sleep wasn't gonna win.
The girl gave it a moment before yawning, feeling her body beg for 5 more minutes, but knowing her roommate that wasn't going to be an option when she returned. "Mmmn.." Torri groaned as she opened her blue eyes slowly, staring out to watch Addie and her father bring in a couch to the rather.. tall apartment. Right. Addie had brought her father to come help them..
Torrin took the solo time to sit up straight and stretch. She was wearing her pajama pants and a tank top as being lazy was apart of who she was; she also didn't need to worry about being harmed with Addie and her father.. for now at least.
It took a minute before she pushed the door open and crawled out with her Teddy and her main bags. She decided she should help carry things in. "Addeh!" Torri waved when the brunette was in sight again. "What can I's carreh?" She questioned, turning to look at what they had to bring up.
She attached her teddy to her messenger bag as so he wasn't in the way. She then pushed her hair back into a ponytail. Luckily she wasn't wearing baggy clothing today.

With that she'd turn forward and continue to walk with her father. The elevator door was open. He dropped his end of the couch and Addie lifted and pushed her end up into the air as she moved in closer. Moving always always fun...sarcasm. Always. There was one thing to be thankful for...The lack there of stairs. She hated carrying things up the stairs, it was horrible thing. It probably wouldn't be the best thing on her father, Yuuto wasn't as strong as he... He was never really that strong. Office worker. Smiling, she'd press the button. With a jump, the elevator traveled upwards. To the fifth floor. "No room...""Sorry! Happy moving."It was a friendly seeming building, not exactly what she had expected.Yet, it was a very good thing. Safe neighborhood, happy neighbors, equaled less worry. There was less to fret about when it came to Torrin wandering about. The elevator stopped once again, this time on the right floor.IT WAS ABOUT TIME. Getting out first, she'd bring down her end of the couch and head down the hall. Walking backwards until she met with the door of the new apartment. Setting it down, she'd turn and unlock the door. Home sweet home. Addie smiled as she pushed open the door, revealing a large empty space.. Their new home. Once more, she'd lift and begin the walk backwards, into the apartment for the very first time. How marvelous it was to have a new home, a safe home. Smiling, she'd look down at the couch, only to stop in the living room. Looking around, Addie wished to take in as much as she could, looking around with a bright smile. new home~ new home. "Thanks Tou-san!" The brunette cheered happily as she headed towards the door, "You can rest for a while.Torrin and I have the boxes!"The man smiled, looking at his daughter with the look of admiration. He was so proud of her and so very happy to see her in such a good mood. It was such a change,a very good change. He couldn't help but wonder what had inspired it. Was it the states, or a person. It was so difficult to tell with Addie.Although the only thing that mattered was his daughter's happiness. "Alright, I'll be down in a bit."With that, Addie raced down the hall, turning and hit the stairs. Flight after fight, at full speed.Addie was far too excited to wait and stand in one place in the elevator. She only wished that the moving process could go faster. She wanted to organize the apartment and turn it into an actual home. Pushing open the door to the outside, the young woman smiled brightly as she looked up into the blue sky. The sun was rising and it was going to be a lovely day. A perfect new day in their new home land. "Come on Torrin! We will fill the elevator with boxes and go up. That way we can move more! Less trips up and bow. Ha ha ha." She was cheerful, her words expressed great happiness, as did the smile that was plastered to her tanned face. Addie was enjoying the move.. The chance closeness with her father, the long car car ride, and of course the new city and new adventure. She couldn't wait to unpack, to go out and adventure. Gallivant down the streets, seeing all that could be seen. Searching for a new cafe to work at, looking some a place to find good food. To make new friends and to find a little piece of happiness, for her and of course Torrin. It would be good for the both of them. Addie reached the van, running up the ramp, she'd take a stack of two boxes and walk back down.motion towards the door with a nod of her head. "We'll make a pile in front of the elevator and pile them in when we have enough, you can hold the door open after the piling." Smile.Smile. There was nothing that could ruin her day, nothing at all.[/ul]
