The Gym basket ball court will be the setting for this match. From side to side the Gym is but a good 100 meters build like a square. THe floor boards are slippery so watch your footing and it seems as though the basket ball team forgot to pick up. A bit of their equipment is left just within reach of the locker rooms. Leaving the Gym Disqualifies you.

So, like, Cain breezed his way through round 1, the fight not having being much of a challenge. At least, not how Cain expected it to be. He had made it through with the least of injuries and had pulled himself through to the next round. As great as that may have been, Cain was greatly disappointed. Anyone who knew Cain well enough would understand why. The boy lived for the thrill of battle and a good challenge. He had been deprived of both in the first round. Hopefully the second round would be better. Jayden, was it? Cain grinned. Well, time to test his fists against this bugger.
He walked into the gym, feeling the many pairs of eyes that studied and watched him carefully. Cain was a new person here, transferring from #552 of New York. And despite that, it seemed that he had already created quite an impact. He had beaten down apparently one of the toughest men in the school's football team in less than a minute on his first day here. He had made himself even more known during the faculty assembly, when he asked a question that caught the attention of many. And now, browsing through the first rounds as he had done so, he was certainly earning his due.
Clad in a black tanktop and a pair of black sweatpants, the boy was suited up for battle. His blue-black Nike Air Jordans made soft squeaks against the floor as he paced his way to his side of the battlefield, taking deep breathes as he tried to calm himself, his emerald eyes looking at the door where his opponent would emerge from. A soft grin on his face as he waited.
Well, it was time to get this second round started.

A soft darkness crept over the gym, you could just feel the teenage angst that was about to come around the corner, people in the stands tensed up, holding their breath, and suddenly...
the head of a tiny cat poked around, looking about with bright blue eyes filled with curiousity its tuxedo coat shined in the gym light looking at all the people. it pranced its way in and the people in the stands laughed a joyous laughter at what had been the aversion of a dark mood.
Jayden walked in after the little cat, hands in pockets, a smirk on his face, glad that his little buddy was able to soften things up a bit wherever he tended to go. he leaned down, petting the cat and sending it off into the stands to sit with the others. Jayden then stood, all 6'5'' looming over the basketball court. he certainly looked like he belonged on the court in height. sadly that was the only way. His black button down shirt over his white wifebeater and slim straight black jeans did not match the court at all, nor did his long black emo hair cut, or his amber and silver eyes. still he was there, and with his first Victory behind him Jayden felt fairly comfortable though he didn't exactly like fighting he recognized its necessity. it was go time.
Jayden sped forward, the fight had officially started. As Jayden got close he tucked his left arm in across his body to protect his torso, skidding to a halt in front of the other boy his right arm would launch out in a punch as he tucked his shoulders and kept his head low behind his left arm for defense
the first blow was always just a test, to see what would happen next

And in walked Cain's oppone-... Wait. What? Cain let his eyes roll down, glaring towards the cat with a raised eyebrow. That was where his opponent was supposed to come in by, but instead of a man, it was a feline that had decided to make an entrance indeed. A stray cat? Nah. It did not seem like it. It looked too... Tamed. And so, Cain's questions were answered as, finally, a man walked through the entrance. Cain's eyes would roll upwards more than he would have liked, a soft whistle escaping his lips. This guy was fucking tall, standing about a good 7 inches above Cain. Holy hell. Cain raised his eyebrows. He was supposed to go against this guy?
A soft grin came upon Cain's face. Oh yeah, he loved challenges, and loved such unbelievable odds. He would slide his right foot back, bending both knees slightly and hopping at the balls of his feet. It was time to get this party started. And boy, was Cain going to have lots of fun here.
The man saved Cain the trouble and charged instead, just as Cain was about to do the same. Of course, with that task taken care of, Cain merely stayed on the spot, his emerald eyes focused on his opponent as he kept his feet bouncing, getting ready to move at a hair of a moment's notice. And then, the attack came in. Cain would leap forward. Towards the punch.
Well, not directly, at least. Cain had angled his leap to allow himself to glide just outside the outstretched fist, allowing himself into the outer side of Jayden's outstretched right arm. And upon landing on his right leg, Cain would twist it towards Jayden, the Junior sending his body rotating clock-wise, his left shin finding its way around swiftly and down onto Jayden's right unguarded waist.

Jayden watched the boy jump forward, fast, definately, which surprised Jayden, whose main asset was speed. still his body was easily readable, though this would be a curious test as Jayden knew his weight was too far forward to pull back now, the ever-awful part of being the first to attack the kick came in at his waist, a nice strike against him, pushing him forward ever so slightly more...
okay... so this kid wasn't the strongest either, he worked a lot like how Jayden did, operating on speed. this would come down to who could read moves better, Jayden would allow no more free hits.
Jayden turned to face his opponent in a flash, his seperately colored eyes staring into the boys emerald hues. this was going to be a curious sort of fight, Jayden had to not leave any disadvantages to himself, of course that was hard to do when one was on the attack, unless the attack was VERY fierce.
Jayden ran again, a quick jab to the boy's gut with his left, assuming it hit it would be followed by a right hook, assuming it didn't Jayden would keep his arms close to his torso to guard. using his height to his advantage and knowing it would take the boy some time to attack at Jayden's face.

And his kick found home, though, as expected by the Junior himself, it made lesser impact than he would have hoped. Strength was not really one of Cain's forte. He was more of a countering striker, who used speed instead of raw muscle to aid his attacks. And apparently, as Jayden turned to face Cain with quite impressive speed, Cain's opponent did too. Cain let his grin widen. Finally, someone who could match up to him speed-wise. It had been a long time since he had fought someone as fast or faster than he was. This was going to be interesting indeed.
Then, Jayden charged in, throwing a left jab towards Cain's gut. Too two-dimensional, though. Cain could see it just as it was coming in. And Cain's right leg would be in the lead then, if only slightly. However, it made a big difference in the next few moves, as Cain threw his right elbow downwards, catching Jayden's wrist and pushing the fist's direction past his body.
Now, the next moment would be quite a hilarious one indeed, for Cain would focus all of his body then in sending that right fist upwards in an uppercut towards Jayden's chin. With his left hand already redirected away and his right hand aiming for a hit on Cain too, there was nothing to stop the uppercut. But nothing was in the way of Jayden's hook too.
Wham.
By coincidence, fortune or misfortune, both of their attacks hit at the same time. Cain was thrown off his balance as the Junior staggered to his right, his hands stretching out and tapping against the floor, keeping himself from falling. Ow.
Well, that was awkward.

(OOC: hey, just for sake of saying it now instead of later, don't auto-hit where you say if one of your moves hit or not, you always have to give your opponent a chance to think about it, I'll play along for now cause I don't mind, but do refrain in the future)
Jayden noted his opponent blocking his jab, it had been an easy move, and though jayden noticed the uppercut he felt it a safer bet to continue his punch, he knew he was the stronger of the two in a rare situation that Jayden never found himself in.
Pushed back by the uppercut there was some room between the fighters now, Jayden regained his balance rather quickly to see his opponent falling down toward the floor, without wasting a breath he was on the attack again, a swift low to high kick coming up at the boys chest just as his hands would have tapped the floor, hopefully sending him rolling onto his back.

The quick-footed Cain recovered soon enough, but apparently Jayden was faster as the man was on him once more. Of course Cain noticed him. That was the disadvantage of being a big guy. Their movements were a whole lot easier to see. The Junior turned to see what the man was up to just as he was straightening himself, and knew that it would be too late to move. Besides, Cain's body was still being dragged towards the direction of which he was staggering at. Unable to do anything else, he jerked his arms to his chest, shrinking them in as he took the kick.
Cain was thrown off his feet and away from Jayden, his arms taking the blunt impact of the attack, but that did not save him from feeling the pain on his chest as his arms was blasted against them. The Junior landed on his back at a distance from his opponent, rolling back and using the momentum of the kick to bring himself to a knee. Knowing now his opponent's ruthlessness, Cain allowed himself to ignore the stress upon his chest as he stood up quickly, ready to take whatever Jayden was going to throw at him now.

Suddenly the lights flickered out in the gym leaving it all but pitch black, the luminescent from the windows in the upper rafters gave a dull throb and a blank dark space where Thierry had just been standing revealed no trace of where he'd gone but the booming sounds of falling footsteps tracing out that there'd been motion of course assuming they were still at war with one another the noise from the awing crowd would be startling as well.
Suddenly a barrage of basketballs would shoot out from the pair's right side in the dark each ball only giving off a slight hue as they swished by aimed at head's and ribs with a force of rockets.
Seconds later the lights would reemerge showing Thierry back in his original position the only evidence that he'd move was a slightly winded breathing in his chest as he worked to conceal that.

Jayden heard the balls whizzing through the air, though he couldn't see them. he felt one clip his arm before another smashed him in the chest, and then in the face making him spiral through the air flopping onto the ground. his palms came out, steadying himself he picked himself up, that really hurt...
he looked to his opponent as the lightly flickered back on, so this was now officially the final round? well, this would be interesting.
Jayden ran to some of the balls now rolling or stationary on the floor, simply grabbing, aiming, and throwing them at his opponent before repeating several times, constantly moving.

Cain would get up quickly, knowing that this fight was far from over, the Junior focusing on Jayden's larger figure as he tried to improvise ways to use that large size of his to Cain's advantage. He had already demonstrated his potential to do as such, but Cain still needed more opportunities to land his strikes. Question was, how...
However, Cain did not have much time to think as the major change in his surroundings caught his attention. The whole gym was enveloped in darkness, as yells and murmurs filled Cain's ears, the crowd reacting as surprised as the two combatants were. What the hell was going on here? Cain lowered his guard for a moment, knowing that his opponent was as blind as he was so there was no point keeping it up. However, something else, it seemed, was out for Cain's head. A basketball whizzed past his right ear. His eyes widened.
"What the fu-"
Another ball came in, hitting him right in his stomach. Oof. Balls.
Cain doubled over, before finding himself being hit by another one at the side of his head. Alright, this was getting annoying. Cain turned towards the direction of which the balls was coming from as he caught sight of the silhouette of the ball in the darkness, his right arm coming up to parry the ball away. And it seemed that the barrage was over. He rubbed his stomach. That hard hurt. The lights came back on then, as Mr. Durand announced then that the stakes of the fight had been raised.
This had become the final match. He turned to his opponent, who apparently was already moving, picking up a ball from the ground. Wow, was he serious? Cain slid his right foot back as he ducked under the first projectile, picking up a ball as he did, before tossing it forward, finding the second projectile in mid-journey as he sprinted towards Jayden. The third projectile was smacked away with a left arm, the Junior finally reaching his opponent. He would then stomp forward with a left leg, not only to stop his running momentum, but also to kick a ball towards Jayden's right ankle. Yes, it had been part of Cain's plan.
The ball would bounce off Jayden's ankle and considering the angle, it would bounce back towards Cain. He would then snap his left knee up, catching the rebounded ball and sending it upwards this time round, towards Jayden's face. And as the ball made its journey to his nose, Cain would stomp his left foot back on the ground, using the momentum deprived from the movement to add power to his right jab, as he sent it driving forward to Jayden's lower ribs.

Jayden simply kept running, and granted cain was slightly faster than him, it made no difference when it came to cain's attack. Cain kicked the basketball at his ankle, Jayden didn't particularly mind that, though he did notice its trajectory, so as Cain hit the ball at him Jayden jumped, plenty high with his running start, and Kicked the ball right back at Cain's face, of course being in the air he would be no where near the jab that had come at him, however the jab did give him sufficient time to land, and hoping that Cain had indeed taken the basketball to the face as Jayden hoped he would tuck in his left arm over his torso and lower face, throwing another right hook at the boy as he had before, hoping to inflict continuous damage upon the same spot until that spot simply broke its limit
