A shift in the air, a darkening of the mood, the kids all talking would turn to lok for a moment at the tall boy walking through the hallways, Ipod earbuds blocking out all sound for him, and at his feet padded his little tuxedo cat. Jayden was ditching class, he didn't feel like school today, he felt like a smoke, but first he'd have to bum some cigarrettes off of somebody. he walked calmly, not TRYING to bring attention to himself, but it always seemed to follow him anyway.

a short distance away he saw a group of boys, bros, joking, punching each other, being... bro-ish, and Jayden simply sneered at them. they reminded him so much of...

"Hey, you want something, bro?" one of them called out at him, shit they saw him sneering.

"Nah, Bro, I'm good, Bro" Jayden said back sarcastically, but then thought about it, though it seemed rude to ask now that he'd already made fun of them...

"unless I could bum a cig off you" he said, his tone completely changed now, as friendly as he could manage

the bro smiled, his chestnut brown faux hawk bobbing as he walked toward Jayden. "sure bro, here you go" the boy said pulling out a cig. Jayden smiled and reached for it, just fot the kid to drop it, and punch Jayden in the face. Jayden's hands came up, covering his nose which was now bleeding. all the bros began laughing, one of them belched loudly and they laughed more.

I can't believe girls are attracted to these guys Jayden thought to himself.

"Now get to stepping, bitch" the head bro said

Jayden's arms droped to his sides, his fists clenched. "What did you just call me?" he asked

The bro turned around and sneered at him. "Bitch, bitch, what do you think?"

Jayden ran at him in blind fury, jumping high into the air, the kid looked up at him, only in time for Jayden's heel to come crashing down into his face, knocking the boy down, facefirst into the ground.

"Jump the bitch!" a latino bro said, and the rest ran at him

Silver was more the whimsical type of bro you could call it. Of course he'd not been born here in Cali, he was from the East and amazingly harbored no accent perhaps through training or the fact he'd rarely spoken back east, kept things to himself lest he had the implication to step out of himself and take into a leadership position one that he'd almost demanded here. These bros here, were somewhat his bros, but they were unruly something he couldn't manage just yet, not at least till he'd get this school to where he'd wanted it to be.

"Jump the bitch!"

A cocked brow of morose interest towards the newly breaking out brawl despite growing impatient towards the actions of these, weaklings. He wanted a beat down but nothing of the likes where it'd be multiple adversaries on one guy. Cocking a sure grin Silver stood up from his perch, nestled in safety with two very tan girls one of them Latino the other blonde. He would stand to cross the yard and encroaching on the fight.

"Dickhead.... yea you Wet Back...." Adam called the boy out by a typical Mexican slur

"I thought we were of a higher caliber than this, rolling in the mud like....well I guess you're used to that sort of thing.." A small chuckle protruded as he closed distance not taking note of the emo kid all too much considering he wasn't there to defend him, merely make more of a name for himself.

Jayden readied himself, a horde of bros incoming from his front when suddenly a little playboy not to far off called out the temporary bro leader by a nice slur. the latino looked over furiously at the boy, but before he could make a plan of action Jayden dropped kicked him in the back, sending him sprawling forward on the ground, jumping right back to his feet Jayden nimbly dodge another bro's punch by ducking under it, spinning to face away from the bro his elbow shot out, smashing the wind out of the kid who backpeddled ever so slightly, clutching his gut. the other two bros had started a mad dash for the playboy.

Jayden thought about it, for one thing, the boy stepped in of his own volition, it was his problem, that and the guy reminded him of a certain someone that was completely insufferable to jayden. Jayden decided he'd finish his own fight and let the other guy handle his issues.

of course, during all the thinking, the boy who had been dropped kicked was now back on his feet, and the other bro had gotten his wind back, and both where now charging on Jayden. Jayden's looked, a glint in his eyes as he jumped straight up, slearing both of the boys as they smashed into each other and then landing quite gracefully on their heads, smashing them down into the ground with a resounding "THWACK" as their heads hit the cement.

Jayden smirked, that would be good enough.

though out of curiosities sake Jayden looked to see how his would be "saviour" was faring

Seems things were getting handled quite nicely here and there was truly no need to get his hands dirty. Potential of danger avoided as the sharp boy whose silence or lack there of for but a key moment had gotten himself into trouble and now dealt with the only true thread to Adam's security. A glistening smile as he didn't move a finger to help, sure fighting would be fun... if it was the right price.

"Oink..." He snorted quickly laughing at the bro that'd been toppled helplessly by the emo kid.

Kinda embarrassing I mean the stick looked to be limber and all but compared to the Mexican bro. Simply physics instructed that the bigger, more dominant man was in control. Shows ya sometimes.

"So Dashboard Confessional you happy, oh wait I may be asking the wrong person..." A short satisfied snicker at that quick comment.

(OOC: oh you and your skimming, I left a few for you to fight actually, but its okay, we shall skip it)

Jayden looked over at the boy who had distracted them for long enough for him to take advantage of the situation. he supposed he should be thankful, and he even almost chuckled as the boy made fun of the bros he had just beaten up, right until he turned his mocking tone against jayden.

dashboard confessional? what kind of an insult was that? this boy clearly had no idea the hell Jayden had been through (HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND! XD), and was going to take a few lessons before he could really get to jayden's core.

"Witty... at least I'm not at risk of infecting people with herpes" Jayden said, a quick glance to the girl that Adam sat next to, a knowing look in jayden's eye, warning her quite thouroughly of a nonexistant threat.

it might not stop her from sleeping with him, but it might... plus it was quite likely to start a nasty rumor, and Jayden quite liked using those to his advantage.

"Anyhow, if our word banter is quite finished, thank you for distracting those kids" jayden said, he had to at least give credit where it was due, he then turned on his heel and began to leave.

Adam Quirked a brow, he didn't have herpes silly emo-kid. Wait it was an insult... Thats right something to get under Adam's skin and surely it would if....

"I already got that last week..." the voluptuous girl said in a ditsy voice.

Adam paused for a moment, then in a slow motion of fatal surprise turned to stare at her as though she was an absolute idiot. She'd returned a simple gestured look and mouther the words 'What?'

Turning back soon enough for Emo-Boy to disappear Adam had to leave with the last word VICTORY HAD TO BE HIS!?!

"Okay Fall Out Boy I'll catch up with ya later.." In an all too cheery voice turning away as he completely bypassed the the STD queen who seemed as though she were totally confused.

Jayden kept walking, was fall out boy even an emo band? really? at least if this kid was going to try to make fun of him with emo bands he should pick one that was... you know... emo, or something. though now of course he had gotten himself into a battle for the last word... this would be curious, and probably entertaining

"probably, if the aids doesn't catch up with you first" he said calmly, not the slightest bit concerned right now, he could foresee where this was going, and it looked to be nothing but a good time.

this was the begining of a BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP!
