I guess, Friday wasn't the best day I've had in a while. I mean. I never argue with people, its not right.. Unless of course, they are indeed wrong. Which is never really case. I don't know what came over me, it's a little sad. I hope I didn't make him too mad...
There was a wrinkling of a wrapper, followed by something cracking open. Her blue red eyes looked upon the piece of paper that lay nestled in the half of the fortune cookie. Pulling it free with her other hand, the young lady would read the small words printed upon the paper.
You will have great amounts of fun with your wife in bed.
Yep, obviously written by a student. Laughing a little, she'd munch on the shell before turning in. It was late and sleep was good.
They say that the world has a certain way of kicking a person when they are down.. Making them really hate the idea of waking up. These things do happen.. Oddly enough.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was kind of bright, the sun was just rising, light filtered in through the blinds.. At that point in time, the girl didn't really question the blinds thing.. It didn't really have any meaning at the time, she was just waking up; ya know. Turning in bed, Hilde would pull the pillow over her head. Not noticing the hair length change. It would take a moment. Things felt weird.. Blinds...Short hair!?
"WHAA!?!" She'd cry out, sitting up quickly, looking around in a panic... Followed by falling out of the bed.
A rude awakening and twisted hand of fate.
Looking up, she'd see a room that was not her, looking down she'd see a flat chest and pajama pants. Whats going on..Whats going on.. WHATS GOING ON!? No matter how often she asked the question, she couldn't find an answer. It had to be a dream. Pinching herself brought only pain. Nothing more.
Standing up slowly, she'd look around. It wasn't until she saw her very own reflection, that something snapped. The bit of control that held something back had broken. Hilde was gone, lost in a sea of confusion and disbelief.
"What oh...What do we have here~?<3 hee hee hee. A delicious young man I do see." Words spoken in the voice of Jayden, never could sound so creepy. A hand along his cheek and a little turn. "Ohhh~~ I like<3.Ha ha ha ha ha" She'd look around and rummage through his clothing, looking for something suitable. "Today will be so much fun..I can feel it..hee hee hee~<3"
Jayden awoke early the next morning, he couldn't even believe he had been in an argument. though in some way it made him feel good about himself, someone has to care about your opinion to argue with you about it in the first place, right? of course. and that kid with the fortune cookie right afterward, so strange. of course when jayden had opened it, it only said
"You know those thoughts you've been having? Do it"
someone trying to mess with the emo kid, who would have thought? originally Jayden had thought there was actually some kids being nice for a change, but like usual, anytime Jayden raised his hopes, the world crushed them down. Jayden sighed, and then noticed something. his sigh sounded awfully high pitched. he sat up in bed, and noticed a certain... weight on his chest that wasn't usually there. not to mention his head felt a little heavier than usual, as if he had grown a great amount of -
Jayden's hand came up to scratch the back of his neck, not only noticing his hand was smaller, he also noticed his hair was longer... and fuller... and an incredible shade of red...
Jayden's eyes widened, he bolted up from bed, going to a mirror. for a moment he was comforted by seeing two different colored eyes... until he realized one was red, and the other was too deep of a blue.
oh...my... fruitcakes...
Jayden's face went scarlett red as he blushed, his hands coming up and softly running down the figure of the beautiful redhead he had met the other morning. not that he hadn't dreamed of doing that himself, but when he had thought of that, he was in his own body.
Figures, first time I touch a girl is when I become one myself he thought bitterly.
he quickly ran to the dresser, finding an odd assortment of clothing, and just throwing some things on he looked like a collage of a mess. Jayden went through options in his mind, clearly the first step was to find his own body... which would probably be back at... his house!
he ran outside, some man, probably her dad called after her, but he'd have to deal with that later. "sorry hilde" he said softly, and then cringed when he heard her beautiful voice come out instead of his.
FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Okay... so... where is my house... Jayden thought to himself, realizing now that having just moved to san diego he had no idea how to get home.
he looked around a moment, and going off his gut instinct and cat like senses took off in the direction he was PRETTY SURE his house was in
"Hmmm, oh how I wonder what this young man does to look so good." The girl spoke, licking her...his lips. Yes, regardless of the fact she was in his body, for some strange reason. There was just something about it that made Saphir oh so amused. After all, it was not everyday you swap bodies; right? She had to take full advantage of what was going on.. In a sense.
"When all of this is over Jayden my dear...I'm going to dissect you<3"
With that, she'd turn and skip out of the room. never noticing that she was being tailed by a cat. Saphir hated animals. A black button up shirt, jeans and shoes. What else did a person need? Surely there was one thing to be said about being a man, the clothing was boring. He didn't have any interesting clothing and she didn't risk doing anything to his clothes. She didn't need to scary him away.. After all, he was going to be one of her targets. Someone so lovely couldn't escape her.
"This shall be so wonderful! baha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
Sadly, it seemed the laughter of an insane person just didn't seem to fit Jayden. what a shame. Shrugging it off, she'd walk down the street, looking back to make a mental note of where he lived. She'd need it later.
Valentine's day, a day for lovers, for couples.. For loooovvvvvvvvvvveeee. Always fun, right? HA! It was just another day Saphir hated. It seemed it would be different for once... It was about time. Upon reaching the end of the street, she'd look from the left, to the right, and forward. Which way to go?
"I wonder how long until I run into him.. ha ha ha ha. Will he be able to tell the difference between Hilde and I? I wonder... I wonder."
Something was wrong in the mind of a small tuxedo cat. this smelt like jayden... and looked like jayden... but this was NOT jayden... a long and drawn out "MMMRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOW" rising and lowering in pitch before the little cat hissed, running out of the room, and out of the back door. _____________________________________
After running about 6 blocks in the wrong direction Jayden came to an abrupt stop, this girl was certainly in good enough shape, but still he found himself gasping for breath to come into her lungs. it was probably a good idea for him to take care of her body... who knows what this would do to their relationship... maybe make them closer? or does that kind of thing only work in movies. Jayden decided not to ask too many questions, or get his hopes too inflated.
"Come on Dio" he said, again the voice of the beautiful girl. and thats when he noticed Dio wasn't there...
well... this day couldn't get any worse...
Jayden looked expectantly toward the sky, suddenly happy that it did not start raining comedically upon him.
he took another look around... wherever was he? a hamburger place was next to him... big de-
WAIT!
that was the hamburger place they ate at when they first moved here! which means home is...
Jayden looked around...
THAT WAY!
Jayden smiled, walking in the direction he now KNEW was home. he would be there, very soon
It was too early to prowl the area searching for single. Yes, there was something Saphir wished to test. How exactly would a girl react to being hit on by a stranger. she loved to see people's reactions, to test them, and to do strange things in order to collect data. Wishing her time wasn't so short, since it seemed Hilde would always take control. The bothersome girl, always getting in the way. Sadly, there was nothing much that could be done.
Sighing a little, she'd walk forward, feeling awkward in the young man's body. It certainly wasn't the same as Hilde. A learning experience none the less, that's all that mattered really. Wandering towards what looked like a park, she'd take a seat on a bench. Her back to the road that lead back to Jayden's and her off coloured eyes focused on the early morning walkers. Listening to the annoying dog in the distance, barking at a cat. The cat walked out of it's reach on a fence, basically making fun of the dog.
Silly silly.
I wonder how much longer it will take him. I want to play.
Sitting was boring, but it was the only way to guarantee their meeting. Since they probably would have missed each other, had she actually wandered home. At that moment, she wished for music, or anything to kill the silence, to drown out the dog. I was all too annoying and kept her from focusing on the problem.
Returning to her body.
In the movies it was the little old Asian lady whom gave them the fortune cookie. Freaky friday.... That was the movie, right? Saphir wasn't really one for movies, or television. So perhaps thinking in sense of movies was not the right direction.
Shock.... bumped heads? Something. I wonder... I wonder. How to solve this.
Jayden reached his front door slightly out of breath, he knocked, certainly a different experiance in this body. everything seemed different, maybe it was going to his head.
The door clicked, Jayden smiled the pretty smile of hildegarde, and the door opened, it turned into a little scowl that simply didn't look right on hildegardes face.
before him stood a young man of about hildegarde's height, a blonde faux hawk, deep blue eyes, wide shoulders and an incredibly muscular build. Jayden sighed as he looked upon his brother, who smiled a large friendly smile
"Hey there, what can I do for you?" he asked, perfectly charming and calm to the beautiful redhead. but then jayden had a thought, something he normally wouldn't have done, but he just... couldn't resist.
"oh... I'm looking for jayden... he told me he lived here... last night" he said in that beautiful voice. Victor just stared at him for a moment, a puzzled look on his face, he turned and looked down the hall. "Hey Jayden... I think you just won the lottery, theres someone here to give you a prize or something" Victor said, looking back to Jayden with a charming smile, trying to play the nice guy, it made Jayden a little sick. "Is Jayden home? I have a surprise for him" Jayden said softly, Victor just smirked. "Oh I'm sure you do. actually, now that I think about it, I saw him leave a little earlier... he went that way" Victor said pointing, but then added "of course... if you wanted to wait for him here, I could make you feel right at home" a large smile accompanying it.
Jayden smacked his brother, and Victor just looked dumbstruck for a moment.
ah, something jayden had always wanted to see.... his brother getting denied.
Jayden turned, and began running down the street his brother had pointed to, and in no time he saw his own tall lanky figure sitting on a park bench. it was a curious sensation, seeing yourself from someone elses perspective. Jayden took a deep breath to steady himself.
he walked toward who he could only assume was hilde, and for a moment he worried... what if others had traded bodies too? what if he had hilde's body, but hilde had someone elses?
only one way to find out.
"hildegarde?" he asked carefully as he sat next to her
Someone was getting closer, of course she played it cool. It was what Jayden would do, right? Ignore those who walked around and continue to dwell in his own little world. Of course,t hat was just an observation from the passenger seat. Saphir was having fun. It wasn't until someone sat down beside her and said the name of her other half. Yep, that was her voice alright. Had it been Hilde, she would have cried out and probably shouted:"THAT'S WHAT I SOUND LIKE!?! WAHH!" Or something silly along those lines.
It wasn't Hildegard, it was Saphir trying to be Hilde. So she went with the information gathered over the years... Which wasn't much, since such a thing had never happened. "Bwah! That's what I sound like!?" Turning quickly to look upon herself..err.. Jayden as Hilde. A very poorly dressed Hilde none the less. Trying to hold back laughter, she'd look down and then back up and Jayden; only to burst out into a fit of laughter.
"OH Jayden!<3 Ha ha ha! I can't believe you are dressed like that! So silly! hee hee "
Yes, she had adjusted to the body change fast. it wasn't bothering her, it was more like a fun virtual reality world. Taking on the persona of someone else, or at least in this case. The body of someone else. Hands grabbing the pants at the knees tightly gripping. As if to show she was worried, acting acting. Always so much fun. Although, she had to admit, it was really weird seeing herself from someone else's point of view. The red blue eyes, the freakishly long hair and the strange clothes. Oh well! All in the name of fun and expressing herself; right?
"So...This isn't a dream?" Trying to seem innocent in a males body, probably one of the most awkward things to see and do.
Jayden was both relieved and surprised when she shouted about how she sounded like. 'you think you're dissapointed? I thought I sounded much better than that...' jayden thought to himself in a very ridiculous fashion, not to mention she had been able to actually dress herself as though she was Jayden... not that that was hard... just throw on lots of black, and make sure it fits pretty darn tight.
then she commented on that exact thought. "Its hard to dress as a girl... I don't envy that position" Jayden said, trying to keep good humor, even when it wasn't his voice that was speaking.
though Jayden was now used to it, in fact the whole awful 'oh god I'm a girl thing' had pretty much faded, he felt right as rain, just not himself at all.
"No I guess this isn't a dream" he said wistfully, not entirely sure where to go next he spoke up easily
"so... got any thoughts on how to get our own bodies back?" he asked with a smile, hoping that she had been brainstorming while sitting on the bench
"Ha ha ha, I guess you are right." She chuckled, looking down at the knees of Jayden and then across at him. Looking through his hair across at herself. It was weird not to see red hair, oh well. outside the expression, whilst inside there was a twisted intent, a lust to torment and cut. She wished to mess around with his head, after all... He was sooooo cute. The poor boy, we was going to regret the day he met her in the hall. Poor Jayden.. Poor Hildegard. BUWAHA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
"How to return to our bodies... How to return. I'm not very sure." The voice sounded sad as she looked down once again, trying to think of something. It was so fun acting so odd in the body of Jayden. Surely he found it annoying or a little bit embarrassing. Who wouldn't? Being Jayden was sooooooooooo fun.
"In the movies, how would they change back? Although, I do not quite think they would be applicable outside of the big screen. I do have to wonder exactly what got us in this predicament. It seems quite peculiar to me. Wouldn't you agree?" She paused for a moment, looked off at the park once again. "This sort of thing doesn't seem very plausible. How do the minds transfer from one body to another? There was no machine, no brain transplant."
Crossing her arms over her chest, the girl sat back and focused up at the sky. Knowing all too well that she was acting very out of the character Hilde. It didn't matter, this sort of thing just made Saphir tick. A challenge! Something she did not understand. It was wonderful. " Did you eat something weird? Do anything out of the ordinary? Why us? I mean, we just met. What an odd hand fate has dealt to us..." Closing her eyes, she'd think a little more, wondering what Jayden had to say about it all.
What was his take on things? She could only hope he was intelligent and beautiful. A good brain is always worth saving....in a jar. A serious expression had set in, the feeling of cute and innocent seemed to have faded away.. Momentarily.
Jayden's mind began to spin, cogs clicking into place and being set into motion, he listened curiously on about her musings, and thought about what she said, and even more so about other things. part way he almost didn't want to be himself... he wasn't sure how much he'd want to be a girl, but he knew he didn't particularly find himself a favorable person to be. on the other hand he wanted to know how this happened, how whoever did it had the power to do so... if he could gain this sort of power at will... who knows...
still for the matter at hand he knew they had to switch bodies back... if only because he really liked hildegards company and would rather not ruin it with some petty thoughts about 'I don't want to be me'
"In movies" jayden started, the shining light of a thinking brain shone in his eyes "usually this sort of thing is done as a punishment to teach a couple of people a lesson, for having mistreated each other or themselves, and to show them what its like living a day in the other persons life..." jayden mused to himself then spoke "generally this effect is reversed when the two have learned their lessons, apologize, make up or some other such requirement along those lines" he explained, though he wasn't exactly feeling confident that would be the right answer here.
"the only thin I've done different than usual..." jayden said suddenly...
you know those thoughts you've had? do it
"was eat a fortune cookie written by some jerk from our school" Jayden said with a little laugh
He had a point, that was what usually happened, or so she collected from Hilde and the occasional movie she'd watch. But they really didn't have anything to apologize for, since they had not wronged each other in any way what so ever. Right? Unless of course Jayden had the balls to do weird things when he had been Hilde; which she highly doubted. It was Jayden. From her observations, he seemed too shy and cute to do such things. Perhaps reason enough use him as a target. She wanted to see the young man squirm.
"You had one too!? I got one! It said...I said... You will have great amounts of fun with your wife in bed." She paused and tilted her head to the side, dark hair once again falling in her face. "What did your say?" There was an innocent smile on her face as she looked over at Jayden...Hilde.. Hilden.
The fortune cookie?
Could a cookie made by a school club really be responsible for such a thing?
"Do you think it could have been the cause? I mean, they are just students.. I don't think they are capable of mad science.. Or what ever did this to us?"
Jayden just smiled and chuckled at what hilde's cookie said, he had wished his would be that funny... still if he had gotten that one he probably would have taken it the wrong way too.
"Mine said... you know those thoughts you've been having? Do it" Jayden sighed, not really sure if she'd get what that meant, hoping that she wouldn't. he didn't consider himself emo but he knew everyone else did and that was quite bothersome
the whole world is quite bothersome, deal with it
"From the sounds of things, what it said on the cookie has nothing to do with whats happened to us, and as far as I can see it has no hints on how to change us back" Jayden continued easily. unless of course to switch back she needed to sleep with another woman, and he needed to kill himself... but he doubted that.
he then thought of her first thought.
"and I wouldn't put anything past anyone... I have seen some great and terrible things from kids our age... it wouldn't surprise me if SOMEONE had the ability to make us have a body swap" Jayden explained, skeptical, yes, and incredibly unlikely... but knowing his brother, he knew there where some very powerful forces at work in this world.
"Maybe we should find the kid who made those fortune cookies?"
Of course 'she' knew that people weren't all they seemed, that even people their age were capable of horrible things. but in order to act like Hilde, she needed to play innocent. Which, was never really fun. Looking over at the play ground, she'd see a couple walking in the distance. Finding people on Valentine's day..OH WHAT FUN. Wait... That could cause a problem. Why hadn't they thought of it before? "What exactly do we know about the people that gave us the cookies? Do we know names? Addresses? anything at all. Because I don't quite think banging on random doors and stalking through public places full of romance and couples would be... The best choice? I mean. They could be anywhere! Doing anything.."BAD MENTAL IMAGE. BAD MENTAL IMAGE. BAD MENTAL IMAGE! Trying to take her mind off horrible things, Saphir tried to think of other things. Other things...ANYTHING!! ANYTHING... Sadly, they were no where near any of the things. An electrical socket... A frying pan. It took her a moment of day dreaming to think. OH HEY! I'm not being very Hildeish. Looking over at Jayden with a nervous smile, she'd chuckle before saying. "Let's give it a shot! Perhaps we'll find the answer!" getting up, she'd look down at Jayden with a grin on her face. "I mean, what harm can it do? It's the best lead we have!"
(OOC: by the way I love how you drew jayden like WOMG, and I really want you to draw a full picture of him if you wouldn't mind sometime... yar)
Jayden thought about all the things she mentioned... she had a lot of good points... god knows that kid might just be spying on them now for kicks and giggles... I mean if you went through all the trouble to turn two people into each other, wouldn't you also go to see what crazy wacky adventures came out of it? Jayden certainly would have, but that also worked to their advantage cause it meant he was probably close
Jayden was glad to see her change her mind and agree, though it was strange seeing her stand above him in his body. man... he was tall. Jayden stood, suddenly realizing how short people felt... he suddenly felt much better about himself.
he was most glad because the only other things he could think of to fix this where either A) Stupid (I.E. hitting eachother) or B) Embarrasing (I.E. Kissing each other) and little did he know that she had the exact same thoughts.
"Okay... so lets say this kid who made the cookies did this on purpose, I'd have to say that he'd be somewhere around here... no one would go through all that trouble and not watch the result of it, right?" he asked re-stating his theory to her
"we should check all nearby hiding places, make sure to look in windows and on rooftops" Jayden explained, begining to look around.
the search begins!
So, they were going to play the game of cat and mouse. Looking for the person who had changed them, of course. That meant being weird, seeming suspicious and thinking like an odd ball. Which all happened to be things that she found rather fun. There was a harmless smile upon the face of Jayden as he nodded , looking down upon Hilde. Still weird.. Still weird. "Alrightie! We'll scan the park first, then hit the nearby houses with a view. If need be, we'll check the apartment building roof." As she spoke, she'd move and point to the things as she listed them off.
Tree's, bushes, the play ground.. The guy..or girl could be anywhere, watching like a creep; Laughing at the pair. Who wouldn't laugh if they knew what was going on? Walking across the park, looking up at trees, trying to see someone hiding. Followed by the fun of trying to act like Jayden. Stuffing hands in pants pockets and walking at a casual pace, there was a small yet very sitting smile on her face as she looked upon the couple.
Awww...how cute....I WANNA DESSTTROOYY THEM.... But I won't...
"Pardon me, I was wondering if I could have a few moments of your time." Words spoken so calmly, in such a 'I don't care' manner; in the lovely voice of Jayden.
"Whaddya want?" The male questioned in a very annoyed voice. It was obvious he was so very annoyed by the presence of the delicious Jayden.
"What can we do for you?"[/color] She on the other hand was enjoying it. Who wouldn't?
"I was wondering if you knew anything about the cooking club at 774..."
What a random question.
"Hmmm, not really. They are a strange and kind of scary bunch. I'm sorry."
"Yeah, now go away."
"Thank-you. Have a lovely day." Smiling once more before strolling far from their line of sight.
Well there went her lead. Sighing a little, she'd drop the cool act and continue poking shrubbery and shaking trees. Anything could happen, right? Random guy falls out of a tree? SHE COULD HOPE!
