If I had a Cookie for each time I had changed schools I'd have been a fat kid long ago. A calm complacent smile jutting out across my features as I sat behind a heavy mahogany desk one that very acutely resembled that of which Mr. Asiv had. So I suppose I was slightly envious of the sustainable power from which that man upkept even if now that mattered so little. Hands would collide, nail with wood in a light thunking noise that would otherwise come off as obnoxious but being to my lonesome it didn't matter, much less it would have if there was someone concerned.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock.
Time I suppose was of the essence to get the ball rolling. I'd extend my palm outwards to grip the edge of my desk where a dusty metal slab was laid out reading Dean Durand, atop of which would rest a little red button.
*Click*
The alarm sounding with a painful resonance in my ears feeling the sudden throb of blood becoming painfully distorted to an annoyed extent. Goddamit! Wrong Button.
My finger would adjust over a few centimeters and quickly press another one next to it.
*Click*
Damnit. Durand sure had some ridiculous accessories in this room. My hand moving over once more to hover over another button.
*Click*
Facepalming I'd quickly regain composure feeling quite at odds with this job already. All of the above would've been heard by all those in their classes, how embarrassing. Rolling my eyes quickly to cover for the red in my cheeks the last button clicked would be the black one in front of me, audio transmitting to the students and staff of Public High School #774.
"Welcome Students to a new Semester of School, I'll be your new Dean, Gabriel Seran. Your former Dean has taken an unexpected leave of absence and won't be returning for an extended period of time. As for the rest of you, things are about to change. You'll see what I mean soon enough. Have a nice day."
With that Gabriel would release his finger from the button leaving an ominous remark as his own intro. For the school itself, there were no plans at the moment. Quite a lot otherwise on his mind. This was his new Home after all.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock.
